Chapter 23: Steph's Decision
All of a sudden there was a phone call on Stephanie's Cell.
"Hi mom, I know I got a call from Grandma saying that she was going to marry Joe's grandpa. Ranger and I are heading out now." She said as she and ranger were getting into the car to go to Trenton Memorial Airport.
"Okay I have Joseph and his mom with me and your father so we will meet you at the airport and will buy tickets there."
"Mom no need for that we have Ranger and a Rangeman Jet. Meet us at the airport." Stephanie hung up her cell phone.
When they got to the airport, Morelli found Ranger and Stephanie first.
"I know Ranger told me to leave you alone but right now Stephanie we have to find our grandparents before they do something stupid" Morelli the burst out laughing after he told her this.
"Agreed" Stephanie said, then she bumped into Bella and Joseph's mom along with her parents.
"Okay now that everybody is here let's go, because I don't want to be related to him after I marry her." Ranger pointed to Morelli.
"Right" everybody said at one time all at the same time.
Everyone boarded the Rangeman jet, and went "Wow this is yours Ranger"
"yeah, it is" he said beaming to everybody.
Everybody sat down the Morelli's on onside of the table and Ranger, Stephanie and her family on the other.
Ranger got up and went to the bar, "Anybody, I don't drink much, but I will have one glass of wine. Morelli do you want a beer we have some. Frank. Anybody." Ranger asked everyone.
"Ranger" Stephanie told him. "Nobody is having any booze until we get out grandparents back single."
Helen all of a sudden stood up and ran to the bathroom and threw up the booze she had.
"Other than the booze that my mom already had." Stephanie said out loud.
Helen came back out and sat quietly next to Frank who kept shaking his head
After a few more minutes that is when the shouting started. "How in the world Helen could you let this happen" Joe's mom snapped.
"Me, you think I can control my mother, can you control your" Helen snapped back.
All of a sudden Bella said, "I curse you and give you the evil eye Stephanie Plum"
"Grandma don't curse Stephanie and don't give her the evil eye either. It is not her fault that grandpa is a I don't know what to call him, but nothing good" Morelli told her.
"Enough" Stephanie yelled and then stomped into the bedroom that was Ranger's.
Ranger ran after her.
"Babe," Ranger put his arm around her.
"Morelli's family does not like mine and my family does not like his. Joe is the exception out of all of them Carlos" Stephanie put her head in his chest.
Ranger kissed the top of her head. "Babe you look tired why don't you lie down here and get some rest. I will handle everyone out there." Ranger looked deep in her blue eyes.
"Thanks, but they are my family and I have to help deal with this."
Babe they are mine too especially if we can't stop this marriage." Ranger smirked.
They both broke out laughing right there.
"I can't remember the last time you laughed Carlos" Stephanie pulled his face to her's and he gave her a deep passionate kiss.
He was starting to nuzzle her neck and he slowly backed her up to the edge of the bed. He put his hands up her shirt and found the back of her bra. He undid it. He also got her shirt off too. He lightly pushed her onto the bed. She stared at him with her blue eyes that were now burning. He laid down on top of her. He started to suck on her breasts. She managed to get his shirt off and started to kiss his chest. She was close to moaning now.
Ranger was almost ready, he could see she was almost ready too. He had his hands on her jeans and was about ready to pull them off, when there was a sudden knock at the door.
"You have got to be kidding me." He said softly.
"Yes," stephanie said out loud looking at her man with no top on and seeing the hardness in him ready to burst.
"It is your mother, we are all very sorry, but we are almost in Vegas. Stephanie can you call your grandmother and find out where she is." Helen asked through the door.
"Sure, mom we will be out in a few minutes" Stephanie told her.
Ranger blew out a loud breath of air.
"Babe I need a few" he told her softly.
"No problem." She grabbed her bra and top put them both on and walked out of the bedroom.
"Where is Ranger?" Helen asked her.
"He needed a few minutes mom, he will be out soon"
Morelli knew what they were doing in there, and so did everybody else Stephanie could tell they knew but they did not say anything.
"The important thing is to get Grandma and Grandpa back and have them still be single" She told herself.
"Grandma, where are you?" Stephanie said as she put the phone on loud speaker.
"I am not telling you. You will just come and split us up, besides you are not too late we are not yet married." Grandma blurted out and then added "we wanted all of you with us."
Stephanie had an idea all of a sudden, "Grandma if you do this you will be related to Grandma Bella."
All of a sudden, they heard a thunk. "Hello grandma" Stephanie asked.
"If you killed your grandma Stephanie Plum" Helen waived a finger at Stephanie.
