Chapter 24 Steph's Decision
" Who is this?" Grandpa Joe asked.
"Grandpa" Joe asked.
"Joseph is that really you"
"yes, now where are you, and please tell me the truth." Joseph asked his grandpa.
" we are at the Golden Gate Inn. There is a cute little chapel here. But I really don't want to marry Edna anyway. I want to marry you Bella. I want to start all over, but I can't get rid of this crazy old bat Edna." Joseph Sr. told him.
"Okay we are on our way stay put." Morelli's mom told him.
"Just one more question is my grandma alive?" Stephanie asked him.
"Yes, she just fainted, do you want me to wake her up?" Joseph Sr. asked everyone.
"No" everybody on the jet screamed.
After they landed. Ranger used his GPS for the Golden Gate Inn.
"It is a block this way" Ranger pointed to the left.
Everybody ran the block Except for Stephanie, who was the smart one got a cab that was idling at the curb.
"Golden Gate Inn" She shouted and tossed a hundred bucks to the driver."
"Yes mam" Stephanie was getting out of the Cab and she could see Ranger and Morelli, still trying to beat the other one there.
"Hi everybody I am going in to wake up Grandma" Stephanie trotted in the Golden Gate Inn.
When she got inside to the chapel, she saw Grandma Mazur arguing with Grampa Morelli.
" Hey what is going on?" Stephanie spat as she wobbled in.
"Oh Stephanie, it is awful I came all this way and this fool tells me he wants to get remarried again to that old thing." Mazur told her.
"You're a mean old bat. Leave my future husband alone." Bella yelled at Edna.
Stephanie was looking at the chapel, it was a nice soft cream color walls, with sun stained windows, while the light was shining in.
"Carlos let's get married now, right here. It is perfect." Stephanie looked into his deep brown eyes, and knew he felt the same way.
"I agree Babe," Everyone was staring at them.
"Excuse us Pastor but is there any chance you could marry us right now. Please" Stephanie begged.
"with pleasure, you truly look like you are in love, compared with those crazies over there." Everyone turned to see Grandma Mazur, Grandma Bella, and Grandpa Joe arguing.
"We are not Crazy." Edna stammered.
"Shut up and let your granddaughter get married" Grandma Bella told her.
Edna sat down by her sworn enemy.
Tank came up a few minutes, "Hey boss, here is you and Stephanie's marriage license."
"Thanks Tank, will you be my best man."
"Of course, Carlos."
"Okay everybody ready. Let's get started." The Pastor told them.
"I am pastor John and I am here to provide a quick wedding ceremony for Carlos Manoso and Stephanie Plum."
"Is there anybody who give the bride away." Pastor John asked.
Helen and Frank looked at each other and nodded.
"We do we are Helen and Frank Plum and we will be more than happy to give Stephanie over to Carlos" Frank told the Pastor.
"Okay is there anybody who does not want them to be wed?" the Pastor asked.
Everyone looked at Morelli, Joe shook his head and said "Continue"
"Do you to have vows to say to each other." Pastor John asked.
" I Carlos knew from the moment we first locked eyes that we would be together forever. You are my heart and my soul and I will love you forever." Carlos told her.
"I Stephanie knew from the first moment we met that I would be there for you, love you and hope to god that you would love me too. You are the heart and soul of me, and I will always be there for you through good times and bad." Stephanie told him.
"Do you to have rings?" Pastor John asked.
"Yes, right here. " Tank handed the rings over to Ranger and Stephanie.
Stephanie put the ring on Ranger's left hand and Ranger put the ring on Stephanie's left hand.
"I know pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss your bride."
Ranger took stephanie in his arms and give her a huge long passionate kiss.
"I pronounce you the new Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Manoso." Pastor John told everyone.
Everyone came up and gave hugs and kisses to them.
"Carlos, we have to get back to Julie and I have a paper to sign so I can adopt her. I liked her calling me mom." Stephanie told him.
"Yeah lets go, but first Tank has tickets for all of you so you can get the next flight home. I am taking my jet back." Carlos said. Everybody started to laugh.
