Chapter 25: Steph's Decision
It was a week later, and it was the day of Ranger and Steph's wedding. Ranger thought back on the past few months, he was wounded he thought of this crazy plan, and now it was the day. He was not expecting to get full custody of Julie, but he did.
"Dad can I come in?" Julie asked him.
"Of course, you can. What can I do for you?"
"I was wondering you are all ready married so why do this over and what is that you have on?"
"It is a different type vest I am going to wear tonight just to be safe." Ranger said to her.
"Okay and Julie, no need to say anything about the vest okay." Carlos told his daughter.
"Got it dad, just be careful today dad, I love you." Julie said as she raced up to hug her father.
"I love you Julie very much and we are a family. I am marrying Stephanie again, because I want to, and I love her, this is for her sister so she can see what a real wedding is like. Also because I want to have a real wedding with Stephanie. Now go on and check with Stephanie. Please make sure that she is ready to go to her wedding." Ranger walked her to the door, "You look very beautiful today little one."
Julie was outside in the hallway when she heard Steph scream. "Mom are you okay" Julie asked through the guest room door.
Ranger came up to her door, Babe are you okay?"
"Ranger my water broke, I went into labor, I need help." Stephanie screamed through the door.
"Julie call for an ambulance and then go get Uncle Bobby and Tank." Ranger ordered her.
Stephanie can you open the door for me?" Ranger asked her.
Yes, I can" Stephanie opened the door, and Ranger saw her dress soaked to the bottom of her heels.
"Stephanie come lay down on the bed please." Ranger picked her up and laid her down gently on the bed.
Bobby came in and said, "Okay Julie, you need to leave for a few minutes."
"Okay uncle Bobby" Julie went outside.
"Okay Stephanie I need you to bend your knees I need to see how far along you are. Oh boy I can see a head."
"Stephanie have you been timing the contractions?" Bobby asked.
"Yes, I thought I had more time they were about 4 minutes apart." Stephanie told Bobby.
Ranger walked up to his wife, and said, "You should have told me babe,"
"I thought I could get through the wedding ceremony and then have the baby but aggg I guess that is not going to happen." Stephanie told Carlos as she looked him loving in his eyes.
All of a sudden they heard the sirens coming up to the castle.
"Babe just hold on for a few more minutes. I can hear the sirens" Carlos told her while he was holding her hand.
"I don't think I can your son or daughter is coming." Stephanie told him.
A few minutes later Carlos's daughter was born. "It is a girl".
Do you have a name picked out for this beauty?" Bobby asked.
"Bobby I feel more contractions coming on." Stephane panted.
"More" he questioned.
"Did you guys ever go see a Dr or get an ultrasound done." Bobby asked.
"Nope just you for most part" Ranger told him.
"Okay lets have another look and see, Oh boy we have one more coming." Bobby took a deep breath.
"Twins say that again Bobby." Carlos said as he sat down in a chair still holding Stephanie's hands.
"Twins Carlos, there is another one coming right now." Bobby confirmed.
All of a sudden there was a knock at the door, put a blanket over her. To keep her warm."
"What" Ranger yelled all of a sudden, his newborn girl started to cry.
"Boss, everybody is waiting Tank said as he opened the door.
"Oh crap I will tell everybody that something came up." Tank shut the door.
"Where are those damn medics?" Ranger shouted.
"Carlos, if you can't keep calm, I am going to have to ask you to leave?" bobby told him.
Stephanie was looking straight ahead at a fireplace. " Is there a damn fireplace in every room in this castle."
"I want the old house back" She screamed. Her second baby made it into this world.
All of a sudden, she heard the medics and Tank yelling "coming through."
"Ranger you have a son, congregations." Bobby told him He was now holding his little girl and little boy."
There was a knock on the door, and Ranger opened it to see the Medics and Tank.
"Hey there boss the medics are here. They came in and saw Stephanie holding her little girl and boy with Ranger sitting next to her.
All of a sudden Valerie came rushing into the room, "What is going on what about the wedding.
"The wedding is off, for now Valerie, Stephanie just gave birth to a set of twins and now she needs to rest." Carlos told her.
"Please let everybody know." Ranger asked her.
"I will which hospital is she going to go to?" Valerie asked trying to get a glispze of her niece and nephew she though.
"The closest hospital" Tank go with them and I will be around shortly." Ranger told them.
He gave Stephanie, the twins a quick kiss and the left to go tell everyone.
"The closest hospital is Summit Memorial Hospital." Tank smiled.
"Aswome that is a Rangeman Hospital, don't have a key card they can't get in" I love my company."
Meanwhile outside in the castle's courtyard., "Valerie do you know where they are taking them.
"The Closest Hospital which is Summit Memorial Hospital. Mom it is owned by Rangeman and it says that we need a key card to get in, but Ranger has the final say on who can visit Stephanie today."
"That is not far we are those Childs Grandparents." Helen yelled.
"Mom do you remember when I was born, You told everyone that the could see me next week" Valerie told her.
"Oh yeah, so right now all we can do is give them time to get use to their new lifes." Valerie told them.
