The Japanese government has been on edge of late, as Shinjuku was in a riot due to damaged buildings and sites of dragons of all things. So far, most of the people have been evacuated to emergency shelters of nearby places away from the danger of the supposed threat as military soldiers investigated the buildings and neighborhoods from head to toe to find nothing. This situation has been going on for nearly two months, and no possible suspects were found. The people were beginning to think that the end of the world was about to begin.
*The Search Party*
Cypher Kiba Inuzuka panted for breath as he trudged through the jungle, following one Cypher Kushina Uzumaki with Cypher Hinata Hyūga and Cypher Shino Aburame and as they paused for a bit. "We'll rest here for a while, and then we'll continue the search." Kushina ordered as Kiba and his faithful companion Akamaru both fell on their faces completely exhausted. He hated this search big time, even though the first clue was a ruined lab, which was quite old, had proof that Naruto was kept there for some time. Then the big pain in the ass was following the trail in the space-time continuum and found yet another ruined lab. And it was much bigger than the last one and was filled with Naruto clones, which disturbed him to no end of how he saw the marks of how they were killed. Someone had sharp claws and tore the insides out of them.
But then he had to open his big mouth saying there were two scents, one similar to Naruto's as they both went into the jungle, which the search team is currently in. This had gained a raised eyebrow from everyone when he mentioned it smelt similar, yet different from Kushina's in a sense, it made them wonder who it was following Naruto. If only they knew…
Two months, two whole months have passed since the initial encounter, and the conflict was still at a draw. Tiamat seethed with anger at how long this battle has already lasted, as her Champion Shana was currently healing her wounds from the last battle she had with Bahamut's Champion. That Champion of Bahamut drew Tiamat's attention. For that boy, even in his transformed state impressed her, as he had no honor, no chivalry; he was likened to a force of nature that was being restrained by Bahamut's powers. A beast with unbridled fury that was trapped in a cage; she had seen him fight with her own Champion many times, becoming fiercer, aggressive, and more destructive. He would have made an excellent mate once the war between her own goody-too-shoes brother, Bahamut was over.
Bahamut shook his head at the level of chaos and destruction his Champion has created in the last battle. No matter what he did, Naruto was out of control. He did many things to make him remain calm, but lessons and even strict disciplining had no effect. One time he had even tried to mind control the boy into becoming calmer and it backfired greatly. It turned out that his Champion was one who did not like to be controlled, and would retaliate very violently. To actually make proof of it, Naruto had actually wounded the Dragon King and crippled many of his dragons that tried to restrain him. It was from there, that Bahamut merely watched and let the Champion do whatever he did, even if the Dragon King did not approve of it. If it was to remind him of anything, it reminded him of a male version of Tiamat at times. A Chaotic Good being was truly problematic and a bigger headache than Lawful Good beings.
As of now, he was with Naruto in his human form watching this 'anime' called 'Yu-Gi-Oh!' and was impressed by how creative these humans can be, especially with Dragon Type cards and the many abilities they have. He even had taken a liking of the Blue-Eyes White Dragon cards since they reminded himself of him in both their physical appearance and their destructive powers. And he was currently watching the movie one as well. The Dragon King had to admit, the Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon did have an ability that definitely would be useful to other dragons in his teachings. To call upon the dragons that have fallen and grow stronger in battle with each one to fall was quite an impressive ability. And the Shining Nova attack was quite the beautiful one as well, to sacrifice one to destroy the enemy at all costs is the kind a martyr would commit into doing if it's for the good of all life.
And the fact that the said monster card had an impressive appearance and rivaled the God cards definitely added the monster to the 'Wish I had that kind of ally' on Bahamut's list. That's when he realized this series might actually have ideas of what new spells he could have someone learn to create and help aid in the battles up ahead.
That and this anime was as the kids would say it, 'a totally badass show'.
Kushina Uzumaki would be considered the 'most terrifying Mother Grizzly known to man' as she tore through the forests of the jungle with her bare hands alone. Trees, animals, and even Akamaru were sent flying in the air as she continued her warpath towards her destination. Kiba had though his mom was scary, but Kushina just made her look second best when it came to absolute terror. Even the Fallen Ones fled from her, as their inner instincts in like involving Kushina Uzumaki caused them to flee for life. Yeah, a mother is truly the most terrifying being in the universe.
"Kowaii…Kushina-san kowaii…" Kiba muttered as Hinata nodded gently at the comment. Shino on the other hand was busy collecting bugs from the uprooted trees, finding rare, new, exciting new specimens to see if they will be able to help the Cypher incarnations of his clan in the future. "I must find him…" Kushina growled as she eyed a ruined temple. "—Even if I have to tear the world apart to find him." She finished as she proceeded to enter the old construction, with the tracking team right behind her. As they explored the area, they noticed corpses of Fallen Ones every once in a while, signaling that someone was here, and killed them. "It's definitely Naruto's scent; it's all over the place. And he was the one who killed them." Kiba spoke up as he sniffed the air. "Then we're on the right track, if my guess is right, this is a temple dedicated to whichever deity my son made a pact with to become a Cypher." Kushina explained as they walked in further deep.
Once they reached the heart of the temple, the sight of a massive pit of lava and damage to the area signified a great battle took place in that area. Hinata activated her Byakūgan and gasped at it. "I-I see a massive remains of residing pure energy in the area. Possibly Naruto-kun's…" she explained as Kushina nodded her head and crouched down and leaped. Reaching the other side of the ruined room as she walked towards the statue and gapped in shock at the statue of which deity it is, and the missing weapon as well. "We need to find Naruto fast, to be a Cypher of the 'male-who-invites' of all beings is an Armageddon waiting to happen…!" Kushina exclaimed as the search team had heard, and went bug eyed (minus Shino, which was hidden behind his glasses) at what Kushina said. "That also means Naruto's Origin is Alpha, but that second person Kiba detected was similar to both me and Naruto and the same time different…!" Kushina realized she needed to get to Minato and tell him what she had discovered, and fast. If Naruto was the Cypher of the 'male-who-invites', then this other being must be female and the 'female-who-invites', those two were truly the end of all creation if left unattended!
"I really don't understand how you can enjoy something this simple." Tiamat muttered in her mortal guise as Shana was busy playing Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory on her shiny new PlayStation 3. She had watched her Champion finish the previous two games within the week with a full completion on the trophy list. The game had many references to things she had no idea about and humor that was only fit for humans, to the Dragon Queen of Chaos, this made no sense. "Oh yeah, the Hyperdimension Neptune: The Animation is about to start again!" Shana realized as she begun flipping the second HD TV she had in her room as the show was about to start. Tiamat sighed, why is it every time she have a powerful ally at her side, they have some sort of odd fetish or strange habits of sorts she could not understand? And why in the name of Io did Shana named her transformed self after Iris Heart by calling it Iris Soul?
They're busy in a war right now and her Champion is 'taking a break' from it to have fun. Tiamat doubted that Bahamut would let his Champion do something like this and have fun.
Bahamut was having fun; he looked at Naruto square in the eye as the Champion looked back at his master as sweat dripped from their head. They had been on this challenge in a repeated effort in trying to beat the other and show each other that's the best. So far, they've tied over and over again even when they improvise or utilize new strategies for their armies. From their sides they wore something on their arms as they begun to take this challenge up to a whole new level. "Ready Naruto?" the Dragon King asked as Naruto grinned and held his left arm up, revealing the contraption on his arm. "Ready when you are!" he replied as the machines on their arms activated and drawing five cards from the contraptions.
