Shana crept in the shadows as she avoided the sight of a patrolling soldier of Bahamut's army. It was night time and Tiamat assigned her a mission worthy of the ages. Her task was simple, kill the leader and chief tactician Urgala the Fang to cripple the army Bahamut is beginning to muster up. Shana had seen it too, many young men joining in on this war for glory and honor for Japan. The Dragon Wars had been like this for nearly four months now, and the battles have grown fiercer with Bahamut's Champion as buildings were in ruins cause of it. It made her worry that her brother might be considering joining the battle, knowing he's one who won't pass up on an adventure and battles like these. It would pain her if he were to die, leaving her all alone in this world with nothing to live for.
Maybe when this is all over, she can take her brother somewhere nice and live in a simple house in the countryside in peace. Maybe a farm life would do it. Nice, peaceful, always have food nearby that's freshly grown. That is her ideal of a normal peaceful life. But reality is a bastard as it always makes things complicated for her, and at the same time easy. As she blended in with the shadows, she overheard the patrolling guards of the area speaking with each other.
"How about we get some mead and whisky tonight? Heard that Urgala herself is going to be doing a toast for the new recruits for the occasion."
"Seriously? I'm in!"
"Relax boys, until we finish our patrols, we won't be able to enjoy any alcohol for a while."
Now this is a good thing, and that's when Tiamat spoke to her champion. "Go and poison the drinks, and revel as one of Bahamut's Seven Dragons has fallen to the shadows…" Tiamat whispered telepathically. "It shall be done my lady." Shana mentally replied as she began making her way of getting answers from the three unsuspecting patrol guards. Iris Soul was going to enjoy this very much.
Naruto sighed as he walked down the repaired section of the city; he thought paying a visit to the orphanage he and Shana temporarily lived in would be a change of pace. Since Tiamat's Champion hasn't been seen, he decided to take it easy for now, but remain on his guard. He wondered what interesting events will turn out. "Are you Shana's brother?" a voice spoke from behind. On edge, Naruto looked over to see that woman that adopted his twin sister. "What of it?" he asked eyes narrowing as he felt Bahamut's powers fluctuating at the woman's presence; she was an enemy, and a very powerful one at that.
"Oh it's nothing really; I just needed to clear a dangerous target before my brother changes the tide of this war." She replied as Naruto instantly dashed away into the alleyways as the human guise of Tiamat smirked. "Get him, alive." She ordered as her minions started their hunt for Naruto.
He ran, jumping over trash cans, climbing over fences, avoiding a few dogs along the way as he leapt up to the roofs and paused, looking back. Seeing no one behind him, he sighed with relief until he heard the sounds of leathery wings flapping. Turning to the source, Naruto recognized two of Tiamat's consorts were Apsu and Kingsu. "I'm not going down without a fight." Naruto stated as he summoned Kanshou and Bakuya to his side as the Yin-Yang Swords shined in his hands. "I'll at least take one of you down with me first!" he declared as he charged at the two with a battle cry.
Shana watched as one of Bahamut's right hand warriors fell to the poison, as well as potential threats in the future erased. That was when she heard the summons. "Get over here my Champion; one of my consorts has fallen to Bahamut's Champion. I won't doubt it if he'll kill another one of them by the time you get here. Make haste!" was the call. Bound to loyalty, Shana leapt to the rooftops and began making her way towards the source of the battle. But that's when she saw it, the corpses of Tiamat's consorts burning away, leaving behind skeletons as a powerful energy flowed to one point where a figure silhouetted by the light stood. No doubt about it, it was Bahamut's Champion. She landed on the rooftop and electricity instantly danced on her fingers as she aimed at the dying light. "Turn and face me Champion, our countless rounds of battle ends here!" she demanded as the figure turned to her. Once the light died down, her eyes widened in shock, mirroring the figure's own eyes as the two stared at each other.
"Impossible…"
"It can't be…"
Standing against each other as enemies on the battlefield, Naruto and Shana, twin siblings and Champions of Bahamut and Tiamat respectively, were looking at each other for the first time in months. A roar shook the entire area as Tiamat stood in her true, horrible form as the Chromatic Dragon Queen of Chaos as Bahamut, King of the Metallic Dragons made his entry. The two ancient enemies begun their battle once again as Naruto gritted his teeth in anger; "So, we've both chosen the path we've taken huh?" he asked with a bitter chuckle as Shana had her head down. She realized that she had been harming her brother, while she had sought to protect him, she was actually hurting him. The irony of her reason made her choke up as she nodded. That was when she saw Bakuya, the White Yin Sword impaled in front of her, tossed by her brother.
"Show me sis, show me how far you've grown." He told her, a weak sad smile on his face as Shana took the blade as a lone tear fell from her eye. With that, the two siblings charged at each other and clashed blades, sparks erupting from their swords as the sky was blocked by thunderclouds. The exchanging blows echoing throughout the city as Bahamut and Tiamat unleashed everything at their disposal to destroy each other. The two Dragon Rulers fighting for dominance as the natural order of the world was thrown into disarray. Tornados ripped homes, floods consumed cities, earthquakes toppled kingdoms, and the world was becoming undone by the clash of gods.
Each blow from the swords, Bahamut and Tiamat destroy a city, with each injury to the flesh, eruptions from volcanoes wake, and with each tear from Naruto and Shana's eyes, the thundering clouds grew louder with each opposition. "Finish her Naruto!" Bahamut roared as he bit into one of Tiamat's numerous necks as the Dragon Queen hissed in anger as one of her five heads had gotten to his neck as well.
Naruto charged, the intent to kill was with him as Shana did so herself, but then. "…Ah, I can't do it." A voice from one of the siblings said in a carefree way.
The sounds of a blade impaling a body was heard as a gasp was heard as blood dripped from the body of the two. Shana's eyes widen in shock as blood dripped from her face. "W-Why? Why did you do this…Onī-chan?" Shana asked as the eyes of her brother were calm and gentle. He used his arm that was not holding Kanshou to pull her in closer as he smiled. "It is the duty of the eldest sibling to protect their younger siblings from any harm. I'd be going against what it means to be your big brother if I killed you." He replied as blood dripped from his mouth. "I swore that I'd protect you no matter what Shana, because I love you sister." He told her as he closed his eyes.
Shana pulled back, taking Bakuya with her as Naruto fell, a puddle of blood was made as Shana realized with dawning horror of what she had done. She had killed her own family, her own brother that loved her dearly and she paid him in return by killing him, by that, she destroyed any bonds she had. The realization hit her like a freight train as she fell on her knees. She cried, a cry of agony as her own natural dragon powers stirred as all of heaven and earth shook and heaved in her sorrow.
She was not the only one who knew Naruto had fallen. Bahamut felt it through the connected, and was shocked at the development, which had given Tiamat the immediate advantage as her green head bit onto his wing as the black head began increasing its force on his neck as she gloated in her triumph. "Foolish brother, your compassion for your champion has wrought your defeat. Now I am the victor as my Champion has fulfilled the prophecy. The worlds will now be plunged into eternal chaos and I will rule all!" she laughed as her red dragon head bit onto the other wing as the yellow head looked at him directly in the eye.
"I will kill every one that has ever followed your ways, as evil has overcome good as all hope is lost. All dragons of your kind will die by my hand, and you won't live to see it." She sneered as with a sickening crunch, Tiamat tore Bahamut's wings apart and snapped his neck, and then ripped it off his body and tossed it to the side as all five heads roared in triumph. The world was now tumbling down to oblivion as the world began to die from the sudden imbalance. Chaos consumed the world as the humans who survived this war were now facing a peril from not just dragons, plagues and calamities as despair consumed all.
Tiamat went under her human guise as she walked towards her crying Champion. She turned the body of Naruto and examined the wound and snorted. "He'll live. He absorbed the souls of two of my consorts and it made the wound shallow. It didn't pierce any vital organs." She said as that made Shana's crying stop to sniffles. "H-He's still alive?" she asked, her expression filled with hope as Tiamat knew she had to keep this girl under control. Fortunately, there came an enemy that'll keep her Champion on her side. "Lord Bahamut has fallen and Naruto is disabled, rescue him at once!" called out Marroshok the Tail, bodyguard of Bahamut and loyal friend to Naruto. He had failed to protect his lord, he would not fail to protect his friend as the massive gold dragon roared as other dragons of Bahamut's army did the same.
That was when the dragon was pushed back by an incredible force, much to the shock of the others as Shana was the one responsible for it as she glared at them with a great level of hatred. "Don't you filthy mongrels dare try and lay a hand on my brother!" she roared as she transformed into her dragon form. The despair at the sight of the prophesized Dragon of Twilight, and her size rivaled Marroshok himself as the power she emitted from her dragon form shook the world. Marroshok would have feared death by now if his loyalty and friendship with Naruto did not stop him. They were close like brothers, and he would be damned if he'd fail to save his brother figure from Tiamat's clutches. With a roar of his own, he charged at the transformed Shana as many other did, knowing that Naruto is the only one who can slay Tiamat now that Bahamut had fallen.
Tiamat smirked, she watched as her Champion tore Bahamut's very army apart with unbidden fury. Her desire for her brother was something to be feared indeed. Speaking of which, she looked down at her brother, as his breathing was hard and were barely visible. She'll have to take him and have him properly healed. But she knew that he and Shana were beyond mere humans with dragon powers. They reminded her of Bahamut's Dragonborns and that Dragon God Akatosh's own version of them, almost as if they're hybrids of the two types…
She picked up the boy and smirked, he'd be a find replacement among her consorts, but he'll probably be a hard one to tame…She'll enjoy breaking him when Shana isn't around. "Shana, let's retreat for now. We've won, but we'll kill them all later when the time comes. I do believe healing your brother takes a priority no?" Tiamat asked as Shana returned to the Dragon Queen's side in her human form as she had donned a few wounds and bite marks from her battle with the now heavily damaged army of Bahamut as Marroshok snarled as the massive wyrm charged at the two, only for them to teleport in the nick of time as Marroshok roared in anger. Cursing himself for failing to arrive in time to change the outcome of the battle, for failing his Lord Bahamut, and Brotherwing Naruto as he slammed his claw into a ruined building and roared in anger.
That was when Kurya the Eye came forward to him. "Fear not brother, I shall search for where they've taken Naruto, using every resource we have to find him. And when the time comes, we shall save him and end Tiamat's rule for Lord Bahamut." She told him. Marroshok growled as he looked at the dismembered head of their once glorious leader and felt empty. "We must first make a funeral for King Bahamut, then we must spread word to prepare for the worst to come, for I fear this is just the beginning." He told her as the dragons carried the corpse of Bahamut to his domain, to morn for the loss and to promise retribution on Tiamat once and for all.

Naruto gritted his teeth as he held his side in pain, once gain gone through another one of Tiamat's attempts to make him hers as he was locked away again. His hatred grew, and he knew it was his fault that old man Bahamut was dead. He will make it up to him in the next battle, but for now, he had to get out.
I was betrayed…
Naruto ran on the rooftops of Japan, silently as he ducked to avoid the watchful eyes of loyal Tiamat soldiers. He quickly donned his mask as the gears in the eye sockets began turning.
I was shamed…
Naruto looked down at the unsuspecting guard, and drew his blade. He leapt down and impaled the soldier in the neck and twisted it for good measure as the neck snapped in half before walking into the building. Sneaking in as he peeked through the keyhole as the gears in his mask's left eye socket was magnifying his eyesight as he found his target and one guard.
I was a disgrace to the Platinum Dragon King with my defeat…
With a single gesture, the doorway was sent forward in splinters as the guard called backup as two more men showed up and prepared to fire their guns. With another wave of his hand, the mark glowed as time paused as the bullets that were fired as he drew his crossbow out and fired his multiple bolts right into their skulls while stepping aside and allowed time to flow again as the guards fell dead.
My vengeance is growing…
"Please, don't kill me! Even with my death, they'll still-argh!" the man pleaded as his throat was cut open as Naruto snorted behind his mask as more guards came in, guns drawn as Naruto immediately dashed through the nearest window and landed on the ground as shards of glass landed near him.
My name is Naruto Uzumaki, and I have been…
Dragons of Tiamat's encircled him, snarling as they prepared to utilize their specialized breathes as Naruto held his hand out, as the Mark of Io glowed sinisterly on his hand.
Dishonored
Revenge solves everything.
