Hello and Happy 2019! To ring in the new year, I've decided to read all my old stories, provide a bit of a reaction and write a little: 'if I were to add to this how would that addition go.'
I first published this story in April of 2013, about a week after my 14th birthday, when I was in 8th grade. I am now almost 20, and going to film school, so this should be interesting to reread. This was my first and longest fanfic and one of the most active. At the time I am writing this it has over 140 reviews, 30 followers, and 26 favorites. According to the traffic graph there are still people viewing this story in 2019. I must say that's fairly cool. I'm going to reread this story now, along with the reviews and I'll be back in the next paragraph.

Reviews:
I'm actually amazed how often I was described as evil, cruel, and/or mean. I think at least one of the reviews was a lowkey death threat, like whoa, chill. To the few people who called me a guy, you are incorrect, I am a female. I'm surprised more people aren't calling me out on how terrible I writer I was. There are a lot of all caps being used as well.
Story:
Oh my god, I'm cringing so hard! Why did people like this? Why did I decide this was good enough to put on the internet? That "Epilogue" (which I spelled incorrectly) where they "Reunite," what was that? Depressing much, no wonder I'm in therapy now. That last bonus chapter was all cringe, oh my god it was like an excuse for me to share all the random music I listened too. Don't even get me started on the overall grammar and spelling and randomly interjected authors notes. Also, what was that math? How old are they supposed to be? I would like to officially apologize for putting something that bad out in the world.
If I were to rewrite this story now, there is a lot I would change. I would probably combine a lot of the shorter chapters into more uniform length ones. I would add more relevant details and back off the completely unnecessary ones. I would for sure use the humorous moments more appropriately and probably use less characters and fewer points of view, so as to keep things less confusing.
If I were to add a chapter to this I would probably have something in Danni's point of view when she's a teenager, 16 or 17. She just wants to live a normal life but apparently that's very hard to do with her parent's being gods and all. She gets invited to some go on some road trip with her friends, but her parents say it'll be too dangerous for her to go (monsters and such). Danni, of course, sneaks out and goes anyways. Cue the mini adventure of Danni trying to both fight monsters and not let her friends know that she's a demigod (she would be a demigod, right?). Maybe have some cameos from other heroes we know and love as Danni makes her way across the states (idk where New York teenagers road trip to…I live in rural Minnesota every day feels like a road trip, if you need something from Walmart you prepare for like an hour of driving on the freeway). In the end her parents would show up to rescue her only to find there are no monsters left to fight and everyone agrees to communicate more and to trust each other, and they live happily ever after, the end.
That was actually pretty fun. I'm looking forward to doing this on my other stories. Let me know what you thought of this little pseudo-chapter. Were you surprised by my age? Did you like my little headcannon "where they are now" synopsis? Have you been here since the beginning or are you a newbie?
Peace out guys!
