A/N: First, thank you Michaelfmx for all the hard work you've done on this fic. Second, thank you reader for coming along for the ride. You guys just floor me. I always hate to end fics, but sometimes the story idea just leaves and you have nowhere else to go with them. Could I write this bunch forever just being stupidly fluffy, yeah, I could. I can't give up Sarah vs the Life no matter how hard I try. Enough of me, you're here for the main event, so for the last time, I give you Wanting it All. Ch 13, Happily Ever After
Disclaimer: I don't own Chuck and I truly believe 30 minutes of silence became 30 minutes of silent cuddling
Chuck was shoved to his knees in front of the dictator. "Generalissimo."
"Give me one good reason I shouldn't kill you," the Generalissimo said menacingly.
"I don't want to die," Chuck replied. "It's a good reason for me." The Generalissimo bounced his head around having to agree.
-ooooo-
A few days earlier
"It was a setup?" Chuck asked.
"It would seem so," General Beckman replied from the TV monitor. Sarah had her arms crossed, holding her elbows like she was comforting herself. "Shaw, Casey, and the five-man tactical team have all been captured. They have been taken to the country of Costa Gravas. The dictator there is refusing to hand over The Gentle Hand or our men." She looked a little uncomfortable. "It seems Gaez and the Generalissimo have come to some kind of understanding." She looked right at Chuck. "Gaez has convinced the Generalissimo that his new software program is protecting his money."
"He's using my program," Chuck said softly.
"Protecting half of the money," Beckman said, making Chuck's head snap up. "The other half-"
"I can get to it if you think it would create any leverage," Chuck cut in.
"It wouldn't hurt," Beckman admitted. Sarah followed him to the computer. While he typed she rubbed his arm. "Walker, don't get any crazy ideas about going in there."
"General, I'm not an agent, just an analyst," Sarah replied.
She gave Sarah a stare. "The CIA may have been stupid in what they did to you, but if you'd been part of the NSA you would have been more than some analyst. Your decision making and planning skill are unparalleled."
"I could have told them that," Chuck muttered. "Except being with me, that's the part I don't get."
Sarah swatted him. "General, IF we could get to that money, would the Generalissimo let them go and help us?"
"Doubtful," the General replied. "Our analysis of the situation is that the Generalissimo is very untrusting of anyone, and the only way to guarantee a positive outcome is for him to become intrigued." Beckman glanced at a folder. "Major Casey believes the Generalissimo is a romantic at heart and can be swayed using that against him."
"He didn't put that in the report," Chuck said, stopping what he was doing, looking at the General. "Lady feelings were in there somewhere."
The General's lips twitched, trying not to smile. "Mr. Bartowski, is there any way to access the system remotely?"
"No, ma'am, and check the account, the money should be in there," he answered, straightening. Sarah rubbed his arm, smiling at him. "All I'd need is a few seconds and I could be into the system and transfer everything out."
"Negative, Mr. Bartowski," the General said. "You would be doing so with no support. The US cannot get involved with this in any official capacity." Chuck was watching her face.
He never took his eyes off of Beckman as he leaned over to Sarah. "What am I missing, because I really feel like I'm missing something."
"The US cannot officially go in. If this were to happen, and it's not, it would be unsanctioned," Sarah explained. Beckman nodded once.
"So if by chance, Sarah, myself, Zondra, and Carina, went down to Costa Gravas on my dime and came back with the hostages, that would just be a lucky coincidence?"
"Exactly, Mr. Bartowski," Beckman replied. "It would be a fool's errand, you have no support."
"General, I have Morgan and Anna and those two are so much more than they appear," Chuck began.
"But you couldn't have them on the ground," Sarah said, grinning.
"No, Morgan should never be directly involved in a mission," Chuck agreed.

Now
"While I agree that dying would not be best for you, it would for me," the Generalissimo said, taking a puff of his cigar. "So are there any last words you'd like to say to each other.
Chuck looked over at his companion. "Look, we've been through so much that I don't know if I can find the words to say how much you mean to me." Anger flashed across his companion's face, and Chuck was confused.
"I can't die like this, Chuck. I'm mad at you."
"Why?" Chuck asked, watching out of the corner of his eye to see that the Generalissimo was getting pulled in.
"Because you kicked me out of the house!" Morgan yelled.
"You were sleeping on the couch El Buffo!" Chuck retorted. The Generalissimo winced, but Chuck could tell by his face, he was hooked.

A Few Days Earlier
"Neither should you," Sarah said looking at him.
"Mr. Bartowski, I must concur with Miss Walker," Beckman added, lacing her fingers together in front of her. "You are a civilian."
"So is Sarah, technically," Chuck replied.
"Once a member of the CIA, always a member of the CIA," she said softly.
"Here's what I know," Chuck began. "I have a little boy in there whose dad isn't here, because of me."
"Chuck, this isn't your fault," Beckman interrupted.
"General, with all due respect, it is," Chuck replied. "I tried to get fancy and bring down an entire enterprise and we had its leader in our grasp. That's on me. And now you want to send that little boy's mother there, when I am the key to the plan?"
"And what plan is that?" Beckman inquired, her curiosity piqued.
"Go in, take the rest of his money protected with my program, and put on a show where lady feelings are everywhere," Chuck explained grinning. "Because there is one thing Chuck Bartowski is good at, it's getting through people's defenses."
"You can say that again," Sarah muttered.
"Mr. Bartowski-" Beckman began.
"General, I've already read the file on the Generalissimo, and I can speak Casey. The plan is there, and I trust him." Beckman stared at him, considering. "And, not to be a jerk, but, the US has no knowledge of this sooooo."
"You are a pain in the ass Mr. Bartowski, but I'm glad you're working with us and not against us," Beckman conceded. "Good luck."

Now
"Does El Buffo mean…." The Generalissimo trailed off.
"Nude, naked, no clothes on, sleeping on my couch, in the living room, for God and everyone to see!" Chuck replied. The Generalissimo winced again.
"And if that's not bad enough, you let the person who stabbed you in the heart back into your life after about two seconds but it took a four years old begging you to let me stay." Morgan turned to the Generalissimo. "Whose dad you have captive by the way, and he's quite upset over it."
"I'm very sorry," The Generalissimo replied. "Is he okay?"
"No, because he's," Morgan threw his thumb in Chuck's direction, "here to save his birth father. Chuck's like a second dad to him. The boy says he has two fathers."
"They are….lovers?"
"No!" Chuck replied quickly. Everyone was looking at him. "Not that there's anything wrong with that, it's just that I'm in love with the boy's mother and, frankly, the boy has worked his way into my heart as well."
"I am so confused," the Generalissimo said, rubbing his head.
"I'll be glad to tell it from the beginning, but it might take a bit," Morgan offered.
"We have nothing but time," the Generalissimo replied.
"Could I have a chair to sit on, this crouching on my knees is hurting?" Morgan requested.
"Oh, but of course." The Generalissimo snapped his fingers at the guards, who looked at each other in confusion, but went and grabbed two chair. Chuck and Morgan had a seat.
"Much better, thank you," Morgan said gratefully.
"You are quite welcome," the Generalissimo replied.
"Now, it all started eight years ago…."

A Few Days Ago
"You have a plan?" Sarah asked.
Chuck gave her a look. "I do, but you're not gonna like it."
"Will you be safe?"
"Probably not," Chuck admitted. "But for this to work, you and I will have to split up." She gave him a look. "Sarah, I'm not going to do anything stupid, I promise." She raised an eyebrow. "You're Director of Operations, and if it's stupid, you'll let me know."
She gave him a smile, and then sighed. "So we're all going in?" Sarah asked.
"Not exactly," Chuck said with a wince. "Anna is going to be the eye in the sky for you, Carina, and Zondra to free Daniel and the soldiers."
"Uh, how are we supposed to do that?" Sarah asked.
"Morgan and I will create a distraction by taking all of the Generalissimo's money. Once we get the money, the majority of the guards should take us to the Generalissimo. We'll cause a distraction there. If it doesn't work, you'll have to save me too."
"I will," she said.
"I know," he grinned.
-ooooo-
Now
"So, Daniel, the spy who I have chained up downstairs in the dungeon, is your son's father, and one-time lover to your fiancé?" The Generalissimo asked.
"I'm pretty sure it was more than one-time," Morgan said. Chuck turned to him slowly, his eyes wide and lips pressed together. Morgan felt the look. "My bad," he muttered. He cleared his throat and widened his eyes, realizing how badly he'd stepped in it. "Anywho, Gaez killed his one true love, OTP as the kids like to say, and Daniel vowed revenge on Gaez."
"So your son was produced of this union of finding comfort in each other when they were hurt?"
"Dude, it's not me this time," Morgan said quietly out of the side of his mouth.
Chuck was grimacing. "That's about right, Generalissimo."
"And you've welcomed her back, and his son, with open arms?" Chuck nodded. "Then I cannot kill you, because then I would be killing true love."
"Can you let our friends go?" Chuck asked.
"That I'm afraid I cannot do, you see, because Gaez's men are holding your friends hostage, but I will not stop you if you try," the Generalissimo replied.
Chuck grinned. "Don't worry, we have it covered."

A few days ago
"So, intel shows that Gaez's men have our guys chained up downstairs," Sarah explained, showing him the plans.
Chuck winced. "You'll need to wear these," he said, holding up ear plugs. While I'm getting the funds, I'll also be uploading this."
"There is no way that old prison…Oh," she said, as Chuck showed her an electrical layout that included speakers throughout the compound.
"Apparently it's so the Generalissimo can make announcements and play his music," Chuck replied.
"So you're going to use something to disorient them?"
Chuck nodded. "We'll use a weapon so powerful and deadly, I swore I'd never use it." Chuck opened the drawer of his desk, picked up a CD and tossed it on his desk.
"Careful, you could break it!" Sarah said, snatching it up and checking it out. Chuck walked over to a closet and opened it. There were hundreds of CDs in there, and a box of flash drives. "What are those?"
"These," he began somberly. "Are the scariest thing in the world." Chuck turned to Sarah. "Jeffster demo tapes."
-ooooo-
Now
"Generalissimo, as a sign of good faith, will you please have one of your guards look in my bag for a zipped up pouch?" The dictator nodded, and one of his guards pulled out a bag of ear plugs. "We really need to put those in."
"Is there about to be some sort of sonic attack?" he asked.
"You could say that," Chuck replied. "It's time to get Rick Rolled."
Rick Astley's 'Never Gonna Give You Up'….well…an attempt at it, on a keytaur, began. Jeffster was in rare form…down in the dungeons, the guards looked to be in pain. There were twelve of them and the music was disorienting and distracting them. Three women, dressed in black catsuits, burst forward and six of them were down before they even knew what had happened. Four gunshots and two thrown knives later, the other six were down. Carina and Zondra moved to unlock the doors and free the hostages, Sarah hit her earpiece, making Chuck's watch blink.
Chuck walked over to his bag, pulled out a device, hit the button and the music stopped playing.
He clicked his watch. "Hey Sarah, did you know that Rick Astley will loan you all his Pixar movies but one?"
"Chuck, don't," Sarah pleaded.
"He's never gonna give you Up."
"And you're marrying that nerd?" Carina asked.
"Yep," she said, grinning.
"Then let's get Gaez and get you home," Carina said, throwing her arm around Sarah.
-ooooo-
"Gaez has been captured, great job team," Beckman informed the group. "Now, as I understand it, you have a busy day tomorrow."
"Kinda," Chuck replied. Sarah shoulder bumped him.
"Congratulations," Beckman said, and cut the feed.
Morgan clapped his hands together. "Okay, now Sarah is staying at her house tonight and Chuck in his place by himself, because tomorrow, we have a big day." Chuck and Sarah looked at each other, and then both looked away.
-ooooo-
It was around one in the morning when Chuck got out of bed, unable to sleep. He made his way thought the house, to the front door, when the voice about made him jump out of his skin.
"I was told to stand guard and not let you out of the house."
"Casey, we both know you ain't stopping me," Chuck replied.
"You going to her house?"
"Nope," he said with a grin. Casey nodded, and Chuck walked outside, got in his car and took off. He pulled into his destination a few minutes later and headed to the spot. It was already occupied, but the way she was sitting it was like she was expecting company. "This seat taken?" he asked.
She looked up at him, grinned, and then looked back out over the ocean. "It has been for the last eight years and for the rest of my life. Sit down, Chuck." He sat beside her on the blanket, the two listening and watching the waves crash onto the beach.

Eight years ago
"Jenny, there's something I need to say to you, but I need you not to freak out," Chuck began.
"I love you, Chuck," Jenny said softly. "I have to say it, because if I don't I think I'm going to explode."
"Had to one up me, huh, Burton?" Chuck replied, smiling. "I love you." She leaned over and kissed him.
"You know when you talk about the future, you always include me in it," she began. He began to speak, but she laid a finger on his lips. "Chuck, I want to be in your future. I want to be your future. I love you."
"Maybe one day we can do something about that," Chuck said cautiously.
"It should be here," Jenny said. "Right here, on this spot." Chuck nodded.
"It will be," Chuck promised.
-ooooo-
"So what are we gonna do?" Chuck asked.
"You're gonna tell Ellie we're moving the venue?" Sarah asked.
"Will you be there with me, holding my hand?" Chuck asked.
"Always," Sarah replied softly.
"Told you they'd be here," Chuck and Sarah heard Morgan say. They both turned and saw him and Ellie.
"Well, they didn't lie, they're not at each other's house," Morgan replied. "I guess we should get started, don't you think?"
"The others will be here in a minute," Ellie said, looking at the area. The moon was shining down, making it quite light outside for two am.
"What's going on?" Chuck asked, confused.
"Well, we all knew you were never getting married at the church," Ellie began. "It was never booked. So, we just thought we'd do this here."
"You can do that?" Chuck asked. He turned to Sarah. "You can do that?"
"I'm an officiant, I can marry you wherever as long as I have witnesses and a notary," Morgan explained. Everyone from the house, Daniel, and the nerd herd crew were gathered around. "Everyone was on call tonight, waiting for you two to make it out here."
"How did you know about this place though?" Chuck asked.
"I told Ellie," Sarah said replied softly. "Before I left."
"She made me promise I'd let you marry her here," Ellie explained, looking at Sarah. "I kept teasing her about the Church, but she never said anything."
"I thought you'd forgotten," Sarah said, her voice close to breaking.
"Sarah, I told you before, I lost a part of me the day you left as well," Ellie said.
"Oh for the love of God, can we get on with this before lady feelings get all over me!" Casey yelled, standing right beside Sarah.
"Casey…..John, why are you standing right next to me?" Sarah asked.
"I'm giving you away," Casey answered. Sarah smiled at him, and nodded.
"Friends, we are gathered here today to join these two in holy matrimony. If you don't like it, too bad, because, knowing them, if I asked if anyone would speak out against it, an entire legion would show up-"
"We get it, Morgan," Chuck interrupted.
Morgan cleared his throat. "Right. You two have vows?" They looked at each other.
"Uh-well, I-I wasn't expecting to say anything, but, but I do have something," Sarah began. "Chuck, you gave me the greatest gift eight years ago. You taught me that I deserved love. Until then, I thought it was a fairy tale. And you freaking ruined me for anyone else," she said with a smile. "There's no one else but you. Never was, never has been, never will be. I love you, Chuck, and I've learned what living without you is like. I'm never doing that again. I will fight for us every single day."
Morgan was in tears. He couldn't say anything, he just waved at Chuck.
"Sar-" he cut off, and looked at her, and then grinned. "You know what I've learned from you? It doesn't matter what your name is, it doesn't matter where you go, it doesn't matter how long it's been, my heart is yours. We've spent too much time apart, not our fault, but it happened. Now, we get to write our story, our way, and that's what we're gonna do. I love you Nerd Woman."
"I love you Nerd Man."
They turned to Morgan, who had a hanky, dabbing at one eye. "Rings," he mumbled.
Chuck took the ring from Devon. "With this ring I thee wed."
Sarah took hers from Ellie. "With this ring I thee wed."
"By the power vested in me by the Intergalactic Planetary Council, I now pronounce you husband and wife," Morgan managed to get out. "Nerd Woman, you may kiss your nerd." Chuck turned to him to say something, but suddenly he found himself dipped.
"You don't mind do you?" Sarah asked, grinning.
"Never," he replied as she kissed him.

5 years later
The doors to the penitentiary opened, and Jack Burton walked out into the sunlight. He froze as he saw a car parked across the way, a figure leaning on the car.
"Charlie," Jack said, walking toward him.
"Jack," Chuck replied. Neither man moved for a minute. "Well, come on, Sarah and the kids are waiting at the hotel for you."
"How are they?" he asked.
"Good," he replied, with a grin. "Jordan's getting older now, playing several sports."
"We know he ain't your kid, huh?" Jack said, grinning. He closed his eyes, realizing what he was saying. "Charlie, I-"
"It's fine, Jack," Chuck replied. "It's quite apparently he inherited his father's, and probably mother's, athletic prowess."
"You didn't have to come," Jack said. Chuck didn't answer. "No one would have thought badly of you if you didn't."
"I have kids, Jack," Chuck replied. "I'm teaching them forgiveness, and how to do the right thing."
"For what's it's worth, I'm really sorry. No lying, Charlie, I'm sorry."
Chuck sat quietly for a minute before responding. "You know, it took me a long time to forgive you," he said softly but intensely. "But you actually made us both realize how important it is to fight for someone you love, so for that part I thank you. I'm sure there were much easier, QUICKER, ways we could have learned that lesson, but we did."
"You're a better man than me, kid," Jack replied. Chuck had nothing to say.
Chuck turned to him and grinned. "I said I forgave you, I didn't say anything about Sarah." Jack's face fell, as Chuck started the car and took off.
"I think I'd rather you take me back to prison," Jack muttered.
A/N: So for now, our tale ends. Is it a permanent ending? Who knows. Thanks for reading!
