Hi to all! Thank you for those who waited for this story to be updated and to those who commented and voted for this story. I did some research and found out that Bakura was a villager from Kul Elna and not Tell Armana. I don't know if they are related cause i see that word too pop out when searched of Yugioh...but starting today, i will use Kul Elna and not Tell Armana. I'm just gonna edit the other chapters if i have time to correct the mistake...sorry and WARNING: some swearing i guess on this chap.
The sun was up and shining brightly in the cloudless sky, the villagers not far away from Atem's palace are busy with repairing their own houses and business. The noise outside the palace is so loud that it shows how much busy the villagers' life is, but not known to the outside. A serious battle is taking place inside the palace.
"Chaos sorcerer...attack cyber commander!" Mahad shouted and a big ball of light came out of his monster's staff.
"Cyber commander, evade his attack!" Tristan shouted and his monster followed.
As soon as cyber commander evaded the attack, Joey followed "It's my turn now...Armored Lizard attack chaos sorcerer!".
As Joey's monster is approaching Mahad's monster, Mahad smiled. "Don't think you can win easily, chaos monster...attack both cyber commander and armored lizard!"
Joey and Tristan were both taken aback, "you can't attack us if..." their words were cut off as soon as their monsters were hit by a ball of light that came out of nowhere, Joey said "No way! Don't tell me you planned your attack from the beginning?!" Mahad only watched in silence. Joey got angry and punched the ground really hard while Tristan slowly slumped down as well.
"Fighting quickly without a plan is like committing suicide..." Mahad said while looking at them, "if you have thought of the possible attacks...then your monsters wouldn't have died easily."
Meanwhile Yugi, Tea , Duke and Mana's battle is yet to start. Mahad went to Mana's side and said, "Sorry for the wait. Shall we begin the battle now Our Queen?" Tea nodded.
Mana smiled, "then our Queen...you'll start first."
Tea also smiled, "Ok...but don't go easy on me just because I'm your Queen. Fire sorcerer...attack Dark magician girl!"
"Dark magician girl, counter attack it!" Mana shouted and both monsters fired their attack. A large smoke appeared as soon as the two monsters battled.
Yugi and Duke looked at each other and nodded, "It's our turn now...Dark blade and Dark assailant attack Mahad!"
Mahad then shouted, "Chaos magician i summon you...attack both dark blade and dark assailant!". Upon the monster's name being called, chaos magician was summoned again and the three monsters battled it out in a close range. Both sides were giving it their best and Atem watched it intensely as to which team would win. After the smoke cleared out on both sides, there was only two monsters standing.
Atem sigh but smiled and stood up, "It was a great battle. All of you did their best...let's resume training after some snacks, shall we?"
Everyone looked at him and nodded. Tea sat beside Atem but is obviously sad, Atem looked at her worriedly and reached her right hand. The young girl looked at Atem and saw that the young pharoah is smiling at her, "don't be sad Tea...this is just the beginning. Remember, you can't give up when you failed. It just means that you lack something or you made a mistake. Cheer up and win the next battle okay?" Atem said trying to encourage his wife, the young girl smiled slightly and nodded.
"Yeah, I guess so. Thanks Atem" Tea replied and ate her food. After everyone finished their food, the duel resumed. "Even if all of us were defeated before...we won't quit! so let the duel begin!" Tea shouted and summoned the same monster.
The others looked at each other and smiled, "Let's battle!" everyone summoned the same monsters and their duel continued until the sun finally set.
Meanwhile in Bakura's place..."Hmm, it seems to me that they are busy training themselves for the next fight...what a bunch of idiots! did they think they can defeat me and my servants that easily? atem...you truly showed how you've become more weak. But for now, I'll let you all train. Because when the time comes we battle again, I'm pretty much sure we will have the same outcome" Bakura said while looking at the scene. "You!" he said, calling the attention of his servant standing on his right. "Call my loyal servants and tell them to come here right away!" Bakura added and the servant nodded.
"As you wish Master Bakura," the servant said while kneeling and went out.
*clink* *clank* Upon the sound of the bars being hit, Mikhael, Frau, Chocolate and Tira woke up from their slumber. All of them stared at the person who called their attention, the servant walked back a few steps and tried to regain his composure. Seeing the glares the four gave him made him shake in fear for a bit, "Y-You all are being called by Master Bakura. Come to him immediately!" he said and the four looked at each other.
Frau then looked back at the servant, "As he wish. We will be going there now." The four then stood up and the servant opened their cell, while going out the servant looked at their retreating figure and sigh in relief.
Upon entering the room and seeing their master, the four servants kneeled down before him. "What can we do for you our master?" Frau asked and Bakura smiled, "It seems that Atem and his friends are training themselves as of today. I will be leaving for a bit but I will leave this place for you all to guard. Also, keep in watch that girl with the same face as Princess Anzu." "As you wish, master" Frau answered while Tira stood up.
"Master, you are leaving this place without anyone to guard you? I will come with you if you w-" her sentence was cut off as soon as Bakura's right hand gripped her neck.
Upon seeing the scene, Frau tried to calm down his master but he changed his mind and just looked away. "Guard me? why? am I that weak to you?!" Bakura asked, angered shown on his tone of voice.
"N-No master, I am sorry" Tira said and Bakura finally loosen his grip on her neck.
Tira coughed and held her neck while slumping on the floor. Bakura only looked at her, "Tira don't ever say those things again if you don't want that to happen to you again!"
After Bakura left, Frau came to Tira's side and asked, "Are you okay?" Tira nodded weakly but is still coughing.
"We should bring her back to the room and let her rest," Mikhail suggested and Chocolate laughed.
"Well she wouldn't be in pain if she just kept her mouth shut! I told her that her feelings for our master will ruin her...but she didn't listen" Chocolate said and Frau responded, "Enough! We shouldnt blame someone for her actions right now. We are a team and we've got only ourselves to survive and guard one another...so no fighting!" Chocolate only looked at Frau and shrugged.
Mikhail then helped Tira to stand up and looked at Frau, "I'll be the one to bring Tira to the room...you two should keep watch here. I'll be back after a few minutes." Frau nodded and Mikhail and Tira left the room.
Upon entering a place with abandoned houses and ashes scattered near the place, Bakura arrived and seeing the quiet wrecked place, he closed his eyes and reminisced the memories of his once called hometown.
*flashback* It was a starless sky and the villagers of Kul Elna were fast asleep. Bakura just finished eating and went to sleep in his room. Suddenly, a shriek came from the other house. Bakura who was still a child at that time slowly got up from his. "Mom?" he called as he rubbed off his right eye. When no one answered him, Bakura slowly walked off towards the door and stopped when he heard his mother crying.
"Please, sir. We begged you...leave our son alone, please!" his mom called and Bakura peeked from his door to see his mom begging to a man who seems to be one of the royal palace guards.
The guard kicked her and said, "tsk! You people should follow what the pharaoh ordered. He is your king and you are just merely his followers. Now! Leave this house or i'll kill your son first."
Upon hearing those words, Bakura's Mom immediately run towards the guard and her husband also came towards the guard. "Please sir...we begged of you, leave our son alone" Both Bakura's mom and dad begged.
"You pheasants! I told you to follow the pharoah's order!" the guard said and kicked Bakura's mom so hard that she was thrown off towards the corner of the room.
Bakura's dad got angry and charged an attack towards the guard but as soon as he got close to he man, Bakura's dad was hit by the guard's spear in his stomach. Bakura's mom saw it and immediately run again towards the guard, punching him while saying "You killed him! You killed my husband! How dare yo-". Bakura's mom stopped talking as she slowly looked down at her stomach, her white clothes turned red in a second and she fell off the floor after that.
Bakura couldn't believe what he saw, he got out of his room and shouted "You monster! How dare you kill my parents! I'll kill you when i grow up, i swear that i'll kill the pharaoh and everyone who is with you right now!"
"Why you! Keep quiet you damn child! Grow uo? As if you'll survive this...you'll die first before that happens...Get off of me!" The guard said and punched Bakura making him unconscious.
While outside of his house, the villagers were being forced to leave their house and were killed by the guards outside. Even elder people and young children didn't survive the ruthless killing. Bakura who the guard thought to have died inside their house was saved by his neighbour who brought him out of their house.
"Child, get out of this place now and live somewhere...in exchange for your life, revenge our people. Go child! Live!" the man said and run off somewhere.
Bakura only stared at his village that was now burning in fire. All of his loved ones as well as the villagers that lived with him are all dead. He heard a shriek from the direction where his saviour went, he saw that man being killed and saw the shadow of the guards coming towards his direction. He tried his best to stand up and run off away from his beloved village. *end of flashblack*
Bakura's hand gripped tightly and his body began to shiver in anger, he opened his eyes and shouted "Atem...ever since your family destroyed this place, I promise from to all the people who once lived here that you will pay! I will definitely make sure that you will suffer more than what I have experienced, by taking your precious people one by one, you will slowly feel it until no one gets left...and I'm starting it by taking your precious wife. Bwahahaha"
Meanwhile back to Atem's palace..."I've already ordered Isis and Shimon to let the helpers prepare your food and clothes. I'm pretty sure all of you are tired from the training. You can eat then get your rest afterwards" Atem said and his friends nodded.
"Well then, see you tomorrow guys. Goodnight" Tea added while waving goodbye and her friends nodded with a smile.
Atem and Tea then went to their room as soon as their friends entered theirs. Upon entering, Tea run immediately to the bed. "Finally! I can sleep!" Tea said while smiling and rolling on the bed.
"Not yet, Tea you should eat first and is that what a queen should act?" Atem asked jokingly and the young girl only made a face while she rolled to the end of the bed and was about to fall off when Atem caught her by the waist.
Violet eyes stared to Blue eyes, "I asked you if that's what a queen should act...see? You were about to fall if it weren't for me catching you" Atem said with a smile and Tea's face immediately went red by the closeness. The young girl pushed Atem away which resulted from her falling off the bed completely, "Are you okay Tea?" Atem asked worriedly as he peeked from the bed.
Tea pouted, "Yes...well I'm sorry then if I acted childishly. I'm just really tired from the training you know."
Atem laughed, "Yes and that's why we need to eat first and take a bath so that you can rest."
"Okay then..." Tea replied and followed Atem.
The next day, the gang are all prepared for their trip. Dressed in wide galabiyeh-like robes, the gang each went to ride their own horses. While Atem on the other hand wore white tunics and covered himself with white robe with a hood. Tea wore a simple white sleeveless dress that goes down up to her knee, she too is wearing a white robe with a hood. "Is everyone ready?" Atem asked looking to each of his friends, all of them nodded. "Well then, let's go to Kul Elna" Atem said and pulled the belt attached on his horse.
