Hey everyone! I'm so sorry it took this long to update, I focused on my work and my body would always feel tired afterwards that I wouldn't have any energy left to write the next update. I am trying to do the next chapters if I can on my day off so I can update monthly, but while waiting on my next update I just want to let you know I made another Tea x Atem story (alladin inspired) here and it's just a 3 chapter story. If you have time, you can go read the story titled "my master's wish" and anyway…Thank you for the patience so please enjoy, don't forget to gove your review afterwards~

Morning came and everyone in the palace continued their job. Atem observed his friends continuing their training with Mahad and Mana, while the councils are doing their daily task. Shimon can't help but feel worried towards Atem. As the elder council advisor observed the pharaoh from a distance, he remembered the days when Atem was still a child and would always cry whenever he got hurt. His father, the late king Aknamkanon would always remain standing and tell Atem to stand on his own and to be strong no matter what happens. Atem would try his best to show his father his courage but whenever the late king isn't around, the young prince would always run towards his mother and tell his pain while crying and the late queen would embrace him gently as she explains the reason why his father would do that. After Atem's mother died, King Aknamkanon was left to take care of his son while also ruling the kingdom. When the king grew old and felt guilty about a sin he committed, King Aknamkanon only told Shimon that he hope the councils especially Shimon would never leave his son's side and to help him in ruling the country. Aknamkanon cried telling his last wish in front of Shimon as the elder council advisor stood in shock. After hearing the late king's wish, Shimon knew that King Aknamkanon trained Atem to be strong so that he would be able to survive the hardship as a pharaoh even without his parents by his side anymore.

Remembering the late king's wish, Shimon smiled sadly and looked up at the sky while saying "I wonder if you're seeing what have your son had become, please guide him and help him find his wife."

Back to Bakura's place…As the sun rose up, Tea was awakened by Tira as the pink haired servant splashed cold water on the young girl's sleeping face. "Oh, I'm so sorry your majesty…did that woke you up?" Tira asked in a sarcastic tone.

Tea didn't say anything but just looked at Tira angrily, the pink haired servant saw it and felt her body shiver at Tea's piercing gaze. She then said in an angry tone, "What are you looking at?! How dare you look at me with those eyes…you bitc-"

Tira was cut off when a hand stopped her from slapping Tea's face, the pink haired girl got surprised and turned around to see who stopped her. It was Mikhail, the brown haired servant looked at his co-servant with a deadpan expression. He sighed and said, "It is better that you should stop that Tira or else you'll get another punishment from Master Bakura. If you are asking why she looked at you that way, then the answer is simple. You started it yourself, anyway have her take a shower and let her change."

Mikhail then looked at Tea and spoke with a calm tone, "The clothes you wore when you arrived here has been cleaned and you can wear it again. After you finished changing, Frau will give you your food…he is outside the room right now just waiting, your majesty. Let's go Tira."

The pink haired girl clicked her tongue and looked at Tea with one last glance, she then turned around and followed Mikhail outside. When the two got out of the room, Tea sigh in relief and held her necklace. It's finally the day…I want to go back to where everyone is, Atem…please be safe in coming here! she thought and went inside the bathroom to take a shower. Minutes after she finished changing her clothes, Tea sat down on the bed and called the attention of Frau. "I already finished changing…" she said, Frau who was sitting outside heard her and went inside the room. The blond haired servant was carrying her food and placed it on the bed, he then looked at her and said "After you finish eating, just place the tray on the floor. Master Bakura wanted to say that you should prepare yourself for tonight, do you need something?"

Tea shook her head. Frau added, "Then I will be leaving now. Enjoy your breakfast, your majesty." After he said that, the blond haired servant left the room. Tea ate her food and rested afterwards, she looked at the sky outside the small window and waited for the sun to set just to see her husband again.

Back to Atem…The day continued to pass, and it was already sunset when Atem finished his dinner and waited for Bakura's servant to arrive. Atem ordered everyone to not interfere on what will happen and to continue their task, the councils never argued and only remained silent as they pray to the Egyptian Gods the pharoah's and the queen's safety. Aknadin on the other hand was hiding outside the gate of the palace, waiting for Atem to depart while he planned on tailing behind so he can meet Bakura. As Atem prepared himself while waiting on the balcony of his bed chamber, a dark fog began to appear near him and as soon as it cleared Chocolate appeared wearing her cloak. The red haired girl didn't show her face but spoke in a serious tone, "It is time."

Atem only looked at her with a serious look and nodded, Chocolate jumped out from Atem's balcony and landed in front of the gate surprising the guards stationed there. They pointed their spears towards her while Chocolate smirked and looked up at Atem. "Does this mean you are defying Master Bakura's orders?" Chocolate asked with her face still hidden under the cloak. Atem shook his head, he then spoke towards the guards, "Let her be, she is my guest."

Upon hearing the pharaoh's command, the guards stopped pointing their spears at Chocolate and resumed guarding the gate. Atem then walked out of his room and went to get his horse, Chocolate summoned her own black horse and the two head towards Bakura's palace without them noticing Aknadin secretly following behind them. As the two arrived at the gate of Bakura's place, Chocolate went down from her horse and shouted at the two cloaked guards positioned at the top of the gate "Open up, the pharaoh is here with me."

The two cloaked guards nodded and signalled someone from below, the gate opened slowly and Chocolate went inside while Atem followed behind her. Aknadin saw the guards positioned at the gate and he went away from the guard's view as he thought of another way in coming inside, after a few minutes of thinking he decided to climb the walls of the palace. Upon landing inside, Aknadin saw an incoming servant and knocked him out unconscious. He then dragged the unconscious servant near a pile of wooden box and hid him there, the millennium eye owner then used the cloak of the servant and disguised himself as one of them while he continued following the young pharaoh and Chocolate. When Atem arrived inside, he began looking around although he can't see too much since the place is dimmed and only torches placed on the walls are lighting the path. As Chocolate entered the throne room, she turned around and said "You should just wait here while I call Master Bakura…oh don't forget, just letting you know that this place is surrounded by guards so any wrong move and they'll know it pharaoh."

Atem didn't utter any word and stood there waiting, while Aknadin remained outside the throne room as he wait to eavesdrop on the conversation. It didn't take long enough when Bakura came in wearing his red flowing robe and kilt, he sat on his throne with an evil smile. Atem looked at him angrily, "where is Tea?"

Bakura laughed, "why don't you relax for a bit pharaoh? You had just arrived and you want to leave already?"

"I did what you told me to, so give Tea back and we will both leave this place" Atem answered in a calm but serious tone while looking at Bakura intensely.

Bakura laughed mischievously and looked at Atem with an angry look, "it seems you had forgotten you are the reason why she is here! Because of your family…all the people that I loved were gone! Now if you won't repay what you did to my family, then your wife will."

Atem's face paled upon hearing those words, "no! Tea got nothing to do with this Bakura…Leave her alone! What happened in Kul Elna wasn't purely my father's fault…the truth is…."

Aknadin who kept listening on the conversation felt his heart beat faster, did the pharaoh know the truth all this time? But how?! No one knows it except me and my companions! He thought as his face paled in fear and his body trembled. Before he could hear what Atem was about to reveal, a guard called his attention.

"You there!" the guard called and Aknadin didn't answer. The guard was angered and came closer to the millennium eye owner, grabbing him by the neck. "I was calling you," the guard added with an angry tone and Aknadin choked by his strong grip.

"Wh-what is it?" Aknadin said as he struggled to finish his sentence.

The guard brought his face closer to him, "Master Bakura ordered everyone to prepare our weapons for the incoming attack on a certain village…you don't want to anger him do you?"

Aknadin answered, "I don't..."

"Then do your job," the guard said as he released Aknadin, the millennium eye owner only nodded as he gasped for air. He trailed behind the guard as they went away from the throne room.

"What? Do you think I would be deceived by your words, pharaoh? Whahaha if you think so…then you're mistaken" Bakura said.

Atem continued his explanation, "I am not lying Bakura…the truth is, it was my father's advisor who ordered the killings…Aknadin! It was him, my father didn't know what happened to Kul Elna until the news came. Please Bakura, let Tea go!"

Bakura only continued laughing, "look at you now begging for your wife's life, I will look on that matter…for now be grateful to me because I, Bandit King Bakura will let you see your wife! but of course I will have something in exchange for her."

Atem replied, "let Tea out first and I will listen to your request Bakura."

"Fine then…Frau, bring her in" Bakura said as he ordered his servant to come inside the throne room.

Frau, the blond haired servant nodded and came inside with Tea following behind him slowly. The young girl was being pulled by a chain placed on her wrists and is blindfolded by a white cloth. Her clothes were that of what she wore when Atem last saw her, and the other three servants guarded her sides and back closely. Upon seeing her finally, Atem can't help but call her out. "Tea!" he shouted and the young girl looked at the direction where the voice was coming from, Bakura laughed at the scene.

"Remove the blindfold on her Frau," Bakura ordered and the blond haired servant obeyed. After removing the blindfold, Tea's vision was still a blur but her eyes started to adjust and saw who called her out. Seeing Atem in front of her, tears began falling down her eyes and she run towards Atem but was pulled back when the chain on her hand prevented her from moving forward.

"Atem!" the young girl called and the young pharaoh replied, "Release her now Bakura!"

Bakura laughed even more, "Relax you two lovers…I did say I will return her to you Atem. Release her now Mikhail…"

The brown haired boy nodded and took the key out from his pocket, he then opened the hand cuffs and the chain fell off the ground. Upon being freed, Tea didn't take another second to wait and run off towards Atem. Suddenly a group of monsters appeared between Atem and Tea, and the two looked surprised. Bakura laughed at the scene in front of him and said, "Sorry to interrupt your sweet reunion but you still have something that I need Atem."

The young pharaoh replied in an angry tone, "What is it that you want Bakura?!"

Bakura smiled mischievously and glanced at Tea then looked at Atem again, "Simple…I just want your throne and position as pharaoh."

Upon hearing that, Tea looked at Bakura with an angry look. "How dare you Bakura! You and your filthy schemes, I know Atem wouldn't agree to that!" Tea shouted and Bakura smirked.

"Are you sure about that your majesty?" Bakura asked with an evil smile.

Tea looked at Atem and saw the latter in deep thoughts, the young girl then realized what he was thinking and shouted "Don't follow his demands Atem! I won't allow it…think about the future of Egypt and everyone's safety! I don't believe this is what Bakura wants, trust me Atem! He is planning something!"

Atem looked at Tea with a concern look, "But If I don't follow him he won't give you back…I promised to protect you Tea, I can't break that promise."

The young girl shook her head, "just forget it Atem…I…I can't let you endanger the life of the citizens in exchange for my life. It's my fault for being captured so please…"

Atem looked at her with clouded thoughts and replied in an angry tone, "What are you saying Tea?! Your life is much more important than the throne!" He then clenched his fist and looked at Bakura, "You want the throne right? Fine…I will give you the throne and the position of being the pharaoh. Now give Tea back!"

The young girl shook her head, "Atem…what are you doing?!"

Bakura laughed at the scene, "A promise is a promise…well then, she is free…After you win against my creatures! Attack him now my beloved creatures!"

Upon hearing the command, the creatures began to fight Atem. The young pharaoh prepared himself and summoned his monsters Curse of Dragon and Magician of Black Chaos. Tea saw everything and she was angered, the guilt that she felt on having Atem to compromise on the mistake she had done and the fear she felt seeing one of her closest friends getting hurt all swirled on her mind, she suddenly felt her heart beating heavily and her vision began to darken. Tea looked at Bakura and whispered, "It's all your fault…stop…hurting…my friends."

Bakura was enjoying the scene in front of him when he felt the air around them dried out, he then felt a strong aura near him. He looked at Tea and found the young girl muttering something, her head was bend down so he can't see her well but he knew the aura he felt is coming from her. "Oh…so you decided to reveal your secret now?" Bakura whispered with a smirk.

"Guard her so that she won't interfere in the battle," Bakura ordered and the four servants nodded. When Frau came near Tea and was about to put a hand in her shoulder, the blond haired servant reacted in pain.

Mikhail noticed him and came closer towards his co-servant, "Frau…what's wrong?"

Tira sighed, "Maybe he felt sorry for the girl. Let's just stop her sister." Chocolate nodded and the two girls came closer towards Tea.

Frau heard them and shouted, "Stay away from her!"

The two girls looked at him confused and Tira replied, "Are you protecting her now Frau? Whatever, it is Master Bakura's order." Tira then touched Tea on the shoulder when she too reacted in pain and was blown away.

"Tira!" Chocolate shouted and went closer towards her sister. The red haired servant looked at her younger sister worriedly, "What happened?" Tira shook her head as she winced in pain.

"She has a barrier that electrifies us when we come closer to her, just guard her at a distance…" Frau said in agony and the other servants looked at Tea in surprised.

Tea on the other hand lost consciousness, her necklace glowed and her body floated in mid-air while her eyes glowed white. The air around the room began to form a barrier around her and she began muttering something into which a wall of fire surrounded Bakura, she then pointed her right hand towards the monsters and big white orbs came out of it attacking the monsters and killing them instantly.

Bakura saw everything and laughed, he remained calm inside the wall of fire and only stared at Tea. "So you got angry because your husband might die…interesting, now I know a way to trigger your power."

Tea continued attacking the monsters with her white orbs and Atem saw everything, he called out but the young girl didn't respond and only continued attacking. The walls of Bakura's palace started to crack due to the impact of Tea's white orbs hitting on it, some part of the ceiling started to fall down. "Bakura! Stop this now!" Atem shouted.

Bakura sighed, "You really are a party pooper pharaoh. Why don't you just finish my monsters and enjoy this great scene your wife is doing?"

Atem replied, "you don't really care about others! Can't you see that your palace might rumble because of Tea's powers? Stop this now!"

Bakura sighed and looked at Atem with a bored expression, "Alright…stop the fight my dear creatures!"

As soon as he said so, the creatures stopped attacking and run off the room. Tea stopped attacking as well and looked at Atem before her eyes closed and she fell down. The young pharaoh immediately run towards her and caught her just in time before her body landed on the cemented floor. "Tea! Wake up!" Atem called out as he shook the unconscious girl's body but didn't get any response.

The wall of fire vanished and Bakura stood, "she is still alive pharaoh...for now, we will end everything here. I got my main objective here so you both can go, ah by the way…I'm not interested in your throne and the title of being a pharaoh. I just used that as an excuse, well then goodbye for now. Be sure to tell her when she wakes up that she needs to treasure her time with her friends while she still can."

Atem looked at Bakura angrily, "and what exactly do you mean by that…Bakura!"

Bakura laughed, "you don't need to know…just remember this pharaoh, she is important to me and I will definitely see her again."

"I won't allow that…" Atem replied and carried Tea bridal style, he then left the place while Bakura stared at their leaving figure.

"We will see about that, Atem" Bakura said and laughed.

Aknadin who had just returned from his servant duty saw the fight inside the throne room, he backed away slowly but slipped on the ground. The sound he made caught the attention of Bakura and his servants.

"And who might you be to dare spy on me?" Bakura asked. "Come out of your hiding or be killed," he added.

Aknadin stood up and slowly went inside the throne room, Bakura looked at him with a smirk. "Reveal yourself," Bakura said.

Aknadin slowly took off his cloak and bowed in front of Bakura, "Greetings…my name is Aknadin."

"Aknadin? Hmmm…aren't you one of the pharaoh's councils?" Bakura asked with a raised brow.

The millennium eye owner nodded, "I am but…I am not approved of him becoming the pharaoh."

Bakura smirked, "interesting…and what do you want?"

"I…I want to become your ally. Please help me in letting my son become the pharaoh, he is much more suited in ruling over Egypt" Aknadin said while looking up at Bakura.

"And who is this son of yours?" Bakura asked, Aknadin replied "Seto…he is currently the owner of the millennium rod and acts as a council for the pharaoh."

Bakura laughed, "He is already a council so why do you want him to become a pharaoh?"

Aknadin replied, "Because he deserves it…my family deserves it! Not my brother and his family…because of my brother, the title of pharaoh being passed to me and my family was taken away."

Bakura asked, "Brother?"

"My brother is the late king Aknamkanon, and his son is the current pharaoh…will you help me with my request?" Aknadin asked.

Aknamkanon…so this guy is his brother, fine…I will let you be my ally but only because you can help me in my work. When I'm done with you, I will kill you with my own hands. You murderer! Bakura thought to himself and smiled mischievously. "Help? Fine…I will, now go back to Atem's palace and help me gather information about his wife while I help your son become the next pharaoh."

Aknadin smiled upon hearing those words, "Thank you! Thank you so much Master!" He then left the place and went back towards Atem's palace.

Bakura looked at the retreating figure of Aknadin as he hurriedly goes back, Frau and the other servants came in front of their master looking at him with a curious expression. "Master…why did you agree to help that guy who murdered the people of your hometown?" Frau asked and Bakura smiled.

"I am merely using him Frau…do you think I would give what he wanted? That Aknadin killed my family, because of him…my hometown is now deserted. I shall get my revenge on him after using him for my plan, all of you may rest now. We have to prepare on our next move, and this time…we have to get the millennium items" Bakura said and the four servants bowed down in front of him while saying, "As you wish master."

Back to Atem…As soon as Atem arrived on the palace, the councils called the servants and helped the unconscious queen be brought to the royal bed chamber. Atem went down from his horse and caressed the horse's head with a smile, "Thank you for carrying us safely…rest well."

The horse huffed and a servant came to guide the horse back to its home. Mahad then came close to Atem and spoke, "Welcome back our pharaoh…it is good to know the queen is safe."

Atem nodded, "Yes…but she still needs to be checked."

"I am sure Isis is taking care of that matter our pharaoh…however there is one thing I need to say," Mahad said and Atem gazed at him with a questioning look.

"It seems that Aknadin is missing…he might have followed you towards Bakura's place" Mahad added with his serious look and Atem smiled, "whether he did or not…he is not safe from Bakura's wrath. I already told Bakura the truth about Kul Elna."

"Still, we can't let our guards down towards Aknadin…we don't know why he did those things before and I am sure he is planning something our pharaoh" Mahad said and Atem replied "I will keep that in mind Mahad, thank you."

Atem then left and went immediately towards their bed chamber. When he opened the door, Isis came out and bowed down in front of Atem. "How is she?" Atem asked the millennium necklace owner.

"She is fine our pharaoh but it seems she is still unconscious, Shimon already called the royal physician to make something for her" Isis replied.

"Thank you Isis" Atem said with a smile and the millennium necklace owner replied, "It is my duty to see that the queen is safe. Rest well our pharaoh."

The young pharaoh nodded, "you too Isis. Good night." The millennium necklace owner bowed again then left afterwards.

Atem entered the room and saw Tea lying on their bed, she looks so peaceful as the moonlight shine upon her. The young pharaoh sat beside her and held her right hand, he then caressed her right cheek with his other hand and smiled. "You fought well Tea…welcome home," Atem whispered to her. He then planted a kiss on her forehead and rested his head on her, "now…please wake up" he added as he closed his eyes and slowly kissed Tea on the lips. Minutes passed by and a small groan was heard, Atem opened his eyes and stared at the young girl in front of him with a surprised look. Tea's right hand twitched and her eyelashes began to flicker, her eyes then slowly opened and stared at the person in front of her.

"Atem..." she whispered and the young pharaoh smiled.

"Hey Tea…welcome home" Atem said and hugged her, the young girl was surprised but slowly encircled her arms on Atem's neck and replied "I'm home" as tears fell from her eyes.
