Very Short Addition.

Sweet Clementine mentioned Ace's point of view over his bloodline and I was working on this one so here is a follow up.

I do read what you all post and requests for specific idea's do get notice. I currently have roughly 9 other idea's for extra chapters that I am trying to write. Sadly working in retail stinks this time of year, because, well honestly, Christmas sucks.

Extra Chapter 1- Baby Blues

Ace sat looking down at his son as he slept, happy the baby had been born with no complications despite what he had gone through in the last few months.

However as he was left alone to his thoughts he couldn't help but wonder where their lives would lead them now that the World Government knew of his heritage.

No. Now that the World Government knew of their heritage.

Ace knew he wasn't the smartest person in the world, but he knew that it would only be a matter of time before they published his real name. Then all of his fathers' enemies would start to pop up and they would be after his head, and eventually after his son's life.

He could feel the tears forming as he started to consider all of the terrible things that were on the horizon, of the terrible world he had brought his son into.

Hugging the baby tighter to his chest, trying not to sob, "I'm so sorry… I'm so sorry Aiden. I love you and I swear I'll protect you. They.." He couldn't finish the sentence as a sob finally broke he sentence.

He was so absorbed in his thoughts he didn't hear the door open and feet make their way towards him and was thus surprised at the hand landing on his shoulder.

Startled he looked up to see his lovers' concerned blue eyes.

"Ace? Are you ok yoi? Should I get Jared?"

Ace only shook his head.

Marco only sighed, used to his lovers moods by now, and took Ace's face between his hands, wiping tears away with his thumbs.

Satisfied Marco smiled at the brunette, "I can't understand you if you don't talk to me yoi? Now why are you crying all over our son?"

Ace looked down at the infant in his arms, Marco letting him go so the younger could put his thoughts together. Then finally Ace spoke, "Is it alright for us to have brought him into the world Marco?"

Marco was speechless at first, unsure of what to say. He wanted to be angry at his lover, sad that the other would even consider such a thing, but before he could say anything Ace spoke again.

"The World Government knows about me Marco. They know about Aiden. I can't help but worry about what that will mean for him. Was it fair of us to bring him into a world that will want him dead, hate him even, from birth? He's not even a day old and I can't see any life for him but that of a pirate, what were we thinking? He's going to hate us, hate me someday. I…"

He let out another sob. "I couldn't stand him hating me Marco. I've only known him less than a day and I love him so much."

Ace looked to his lover, "What do we do Marco?"

Marco looked torn. He wanted to yell at Ace for thinking such things, but at the same time he understood the brunette's thoughts.

It was true that the World Government and the Navy would be after Aiden as soon as they knew that he had been born and was alive and well.

It was also true that Aiden would probably have a bounty placed on his head far before he would even be able to walk.

Marco let out a sigh, sitting next to Ace on the bed and pulling the other into a one sided hug.

Finally he spoke. "Ace it won't matter what the world thinks of him. No one goes through life being liked by everyone yoi. He won't hate us for bringing him into this world, because we will love him. Oyaji and all of our brothers and sisters will love him. Someday he will probably get a bounty and we will have to explain that to him. But none of that is his fault yoi. It's no more his fault that we fell in love, than it is your fault that the same happened with your parents."

He placed a kiss to Ace's temple then continued, "He will never hear that he shouldn't have been born yoi. And if someone tells him that I will personally sink my claws into them and make them regret it. We will do our best for him, because we know what it's like to grow up without parents. Remember what I said before you joined yoi?"

Ace nodded, then offered a small teary smile at the blonde, "Oyaji loves us when the whole world hates us, right?"

Marco smiled back at the brunette, "That's right yoi. Even if the whole world hates him, who cares when he has us, Oyaji and a couple thousand aunts and uncles ready to love and spoil him yoi."

Ace nodded, his smile growing. "You're right. You're always right Marco. What would I do without you?"

"Be a depressed, angry, arrogant and fiery brat yoi?" Marco offered grinning.

Ace offered his lover a small glare, then turned his eyes back to their son, his gaze softening.

"He is right Aiden. No matter what we will always love you."

"Ah." Marco offered, pulling Ace closer to him, and with that the two settled into a comfortable silence.

In case anyone is wondering. Postpartum depression and the baby blues are not the same things.

-Baby blues is caused but the sudden shift in hormones that occurs after the placenta is delivered and occurs shortly after birth. It is characterized by weepiness, sudden mood swings, anxiety, irritability, poor concentration, feelings of being 'unbounded' with ones child, inability to concentrate, and/or a hyper sensitivity to criticism. Some women instead experience 'baby pink's' which is characterized by a mild mania or feeling of elation, that can lead to postpartum depression.

-Postpartum depression normally presents itself anywhere from a week to a month after childbirth. It can affect both parents, not just the mother. Contributing factors can include but not be limited to; family history of depression, complications with childbirth, psychological stress, or lack of support. It can affect around 15% of new mothers, and in up to 26% of new fathers. It is the leading cause of murder for children under one year of age, and occurs for every 8 out of 100,000 births in the USA.

If you know someone with a new baby or are expecting your own these are good things to know.

So there is that, short I know. Next idea's I'm slowly working on:
