HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE. I know that this chapter took a bit longer than I planned, but life gets complicated. I had to deal with a very bad blizzard over where I live and it got worse on the 1st day of the New Year, but it's getting better. Maybe. Anyways, thanks for the reviews and the favorites I been getting.

Tension is in the air. The wind is blowing slightly. The whole area is quiet. The fighting between Yamu and Spopovich has deceased but looks like another fight is gonna happen.

Trunks, who is in his Super Saiyan form and in a fighting stance is looking at Goten, who is standing across from him with an evil grin on his face in his new ascended Super Saiyan form.

Trunks is prepared for almost anything that Goten is gonna do. He was determined to hold him off as long as he can. He knew he couldn't defeat Goten while he his like this. Trunks faced Goten when he was like this before, but he got lucky. Now, he's not so sure now.

"Ready for a fight Trunks. I want to see how your training has been lately. I know we have practiced plenty of times since our last encounter, but never fight at our full power. I mostly want to test this form out against someone who is actually a worthy opponent, unlike that other moron." Said Goten.

"Goten. I don't know why your acting like this again, but it needs to stop. I'm your friend. I don't like this side of you." Replied Trunks.

"Who cares. All I want to do is see if you're a worthy opponent or not and because I'm your "friend", I will let you take the first hit." Said a cocky Goten as he got into a fighting stance.

Trunks got mad and decided to roundhouse kick Goten in the head. Trunks looked at Goten and he was unfazed from the hit, not even a flinch.

"Was that the best you can do? No wonder, you struggle to become Super Saiyan 2."

Trunks got even more mad and punch Goten in between the eyes.

"How did that feel?" said Trunks.

"Don't know. I didn't feel a thing." Replied Goten.

Trunks was shocked at that response. Before Trunks could even more an inch, Goten's tail wiped around and hit Trunks in the cheek and Trunks hit the ground, face first.

Trunks got onto his knees and rubbed his cheek. He was so mad right now. He had thrown two of his best shots at Goten and it didn't do nothing. He was so mad with himself because he had trained almost every day with his dad or by himself to get stronger and Goten managed to get even stronger than him within seconds. He had wondered how did Goten managed to get so strong. He hasn't been training more than a year yet and he was already an ascended Super Saiyan. Goten was just a regular kid who went through so much abuse because of his mom and she made him weak. Now that she is gone, he is starting to get stronger, but once he gets this strong, he gets worse than any villain he was ever told about.

Goten walked over and lifted Trunks up off the ground by grabbing the front of his shirt and all Trunks could do was look at Goten.

"Now it's my turn." Said Goten as he lifted up his fist.

Trunks closed his eyes and expected a painful feeling, but he didn't feel nothing, which was odd to him. He opened his eyes and saw that Goten's fist hasn't moved, but it was shaking, like Goten was struggling not to punch Trunks.

Within Goten, he was struggling with his other side. He thought this side of himself was gone or at least in control but guess not. This side of himself would have been very hard to control. He remembered how he felt like he was in a cage in his own mind and he was watching a different version of him, doing bad things, like attacking people. He felt helpless and scarred. Lucky for him, he's been training with his dad to keep control of this side of him. This darker side is born whenever a Saiyan goes through a big change, like transforming and since Goten is part Saiyan, it's no surprise that he is acting like this. Usually it happens during the process of the change, but in Goten's case, it's different considering that he had to deal with a lot with his mom and with no one being there for him, but now, he has people in his life that cares for him and this darker side of himself is getting easier to control.

Anyways, Goten closed his eyes and snapped out of his trance. He opened his eyes and you can tell, Goten was him again. Goten lowered Trunks until he was on his feet and then he let go of him. The aura surrounding Goten disappeared and he was standing, still in his ascended Super Saiyan form.

"Are…are you ok Trunks? I didn't hit you too hard did I?" said a worried Goten, who was also trying not to cry.

"Yeah. I'm fine. My cheek stings a bit, but I can handle it. Lucky you snapped out of it before you could actually hurt me. Good job on achieving Super Saiyan 2." Replied Trunks.

"Ye…yeah. I guess and at least I defeated that jerk."

"Yeah. I think we have one more, but it's odd, I don't sense him anywhere. He must have run away like a coward." Said Trunks.

"Yeah. That is true. Guess we can just rest and wait for the others to get back."

"I guess so." Said Trunks as he powered down and reverted to his normal self.

Goten took a deep breath and exhaled as he was turning back to his normal self as well. Trunks sat down on the ground, while Goten flopped on the ground. Goten was a lot tired than Trunks considering he had used so much energy.

Back in the ship, Dabura and Babidi had watched the fight with Goten and Spopovich and they were indeed interested at what they saw.

"I didn't expect that much power to come from such a little guy." Said Babidi.

"Indeed. One minute, he's on the edge of his ropes and then, he ends up defeating Spopovich easy. Maybe we can turn him as well and we would have two fighters to use." Replied Dabura

"Not a bad idea. He did have some evil intension in his heart when he turned his attention to his friend."

Babidi then started to concentrate into finding some bit of evil in Goten's heart that can be used to control him. Dabura looked in the orb and saw Babidi's process and it looked like you were actually walking to the end of a hallway. The view showed they got to the right spot, but it was odd considering that Babidi couldn't find anything evil.

"That's strange. I don't see anything I can use to control this brat." Said Babidi.

"That is strange. He's supposed to have some evil in him and now you're saying, he doesn't." replied Dabura.

"You heard me. Now don't disbelieve me again or you will end up like Spopovich."

"Sorry master. It's just frustrating that we can't control that kid. We both know he is supposed to have evil in him and when we do try to control him, we can't."

Dabura managed to calm himself and thought about something else.

"Maybe we should control the other one, his friend." Said Dabura.

"Might as well. Let me check." Replied Babidi.

Babidi did the process again, but on Trunks and this time, he managed to find what he was looking for. He saw a huge evil energy. It looked like it was just developed. Babidi took a closer look and the evil energy was from Trunks thinking about how weak he was compared to Goten and how he should have achieved Super Saiyan 2 first. Trunks had some negative intensions indeed and it was something similar to the first fighter they were planning on using.

"This kid does have some evil within him. Excellent. We can use one fighter to deal with that annoying kai and his companions while the other can take on that strong brat. With those two fighting their friends, Majin Buu can be resurrected a lot sooner and a lot more powerful than ever." Said Babidi.

"Then let's begin the processes, shall we?" replied Dabura.

Babidi nodded and started the process. His crystal ball had the images of both Vegeta and Trunks and he started to use his magic to make their evil energy grow and expand until it was overwhelming them.

As Babidi was doing that, Dabura decided to slip away and deal with something. Babidi did notice Dabura walked away and he figured out what he was doing next. Babidi just smiled and continued the process.

Everyone that was on level 3 of the ship were waiting to see what is gonna happen next. They tried to open the hatch above them earlier, but the hatch didn't move a bit, so either way, they were stuck. They found out earlier that Goten and Trunks were alright and they managed to defeat Spopovich and Yamu.

Goku and Gohan were so relieved that Goten was alright. Vegeta was relieved as well, even though he didn't show it. Supreme Kai was relived because they were close to stopping Majin Buu's resurrection, they just needed to go defeat Dabura and that was it.

Anyways, the group was standing in the middle of the room and then out of nowhere, they heard a weird phrase "PAPARAPAPA!".

Just then, Vegeta started groaning in pain and holding his head. Everyone looked at Vegeta and wondered what was going on. Vegeta's went from groaning in pain to screaming in agony.

"Vegeta. What is wrong?" said Gohan.

"So…Something is attacking me fr…from inside m…my head" replied Vegeta.

Supreme Kai then freaked out because he knew what was going on.

"You got to fight it Vegeta! You must resist!" shouted Supreme Kai.

Vegeta tried, but it seemed like the pain was getting worse and Vegeta was starting to lose this fight.

Vegeta's aura started to flare out and he transformed into a Super Saiyan, still screaming in agony. Supreme Kai didn't give up on Vegeta, he kept on telling him to not let Babidi win this kind of fight. Vegeta tried, but every time he did, he was losing more of this fight.

"What is happening to him Supreme Kai?" said Goku.

"Babidi is trying to take over Vegeta's mind and making him, one of his own personal slaves, so he can use him to do his own personal bidding." Replied Supreme Kai.

"Is their some way to help him?" Said Gohan.

"No we can't. His heart isn't pure enough to resist this magic. He must choose himself. Either keep fighting or succumb to Babidi's evil magic. Come on Vegeta, you're not that person anymore, you've change since then. You must let the past go and think only innocent and clean."

"Ea…easy for you to say. I'm not as innocent as you claim I am." Said Vegeta as he started grasping his head more.

His power level kept on increasing. His aura started to produce some red electricity like energy and it was swirling around with his golden aura. Vegeta's aura started to go crazy and he flew up to the ceiling, still screaming in pain. Everyone still tried to encourage Vegeta to resist, but what they don't know is that Vegeta isn't the only one that is gonna join the other side.

Back outside, Trunks was walking back and forth, impatiently waiting for the adults to come out of the ship, while Goten was just playing with a small ki. Just then, Trunks stopped moving and he started having a headache. The headache started to hurt more and Trunks was holding him head. He started to scream in agony. Goten shot up to his feet.

"Trunks! What's the matter?" said Goten as he went up to Trunks.

"I…d…don't know? M…my head is hurting a lot." Replied Trunks and he fell to his knees.

Goten didn't know what to do. He wanted to go and get help, but he can't leave Trunks alone. Hopefully someone will come he thought. Just then, Trunks started to scream more and his aura started to flare out and it was already emitting some red electricity. Trunks shot up to his feet and screamed again and transformed into a Super Saiyan. Goten took a few steps back and was worried as to what Trunks was doing. Trunks's power level kept on increasing and it was in similar fashion to how Goten transformed.

"Trunks! What's happening to you!"

Trunks didn't respond, he just kept on powering up. Trunk's aura was starting to expand and with one final scream, Trunks's aura exploded and the red electricity hit Goten and he went flying. Goten flew at a tall rock and hit it with such force that it knocked him down to the ground. Goten winced in pain and slowly stood up and was in shocked at what he saw.

"Hahaha! I did it. I have taken control of those two great fighters and managed to increase their energy. Now no one can stop my warriors. Hahaha!" shouted Babidi as he looked in his orb and saw the "M" symbol on the foreheads.

Both Vegeta and Trunks stopped screaming in agony and were regaining their breath. Their power levels were a lot higher. They were twice as strong as they were before. Thanks to Babidi, they got so much stronger and with this energy, both managed to transform into Super Saiyan 2. Vegeta had already achieved Super Saiyan 2, but his form was a lot more powerful, even more powerful than Gohan when he transformed into Super Saiyan 2 for the first time against Cell.

As for Trunks, he achieved the form that he struggled to obtain. He had a giant smile on his face because he achieved something he wanted for a while now.

Both father and son were really happy because they are so much more powerful, thanks to Babidi and they now have the "M" symbol on their foreheads to prove that they are under Babidi's control, which isn't good.

Vegeta lowered himself to the ground. The others went to check on him, but Supreme Kai was so shocked to see the Vegeta had given in to Babidi.

"We are too late to save him now." Said Supreme Kai.

Trunks managed to regain control of his aura and was standing there in complete control now. Trunks looked down at his hands and they were emitting some red electricity. Trunks just laughed as he could feel how much stronger he is now. He then turned his head around and noticed he had a tail, like Goten's. (a/n: Figure give Trunks a tail as well. Goten can't be the only one with one)

Trunks then turned his attention to Goten, who was still in shock.

"What's the matter Goten. You look like you just seen a ghost." Said Trunks.

"Y…your energy. It has gone up a lot." Replied Goten.

"Yup. Also, I have a tail as well and more importantly, I managed to ascend pass a Super Saiyan. Like you, but more powerful."

"But, how did you do it? You couldn't ascend or have a tail before."

"That is true, but I have done it with the help of Babidi."

"Babidi, isn't he the bad guy?"

"Yup. Thanks to him. I got everything I wanted. Besides the tail. Guess that was a bonus or something."

"Why would he help you out?" said Goten, all curious.

"I guess you can say that I asked for help and he came along and did so. He did help me transform and make me more powerful. I owe him big time." Replied Trunks.

"You don't owe him nothing. I don't know why you wanted his help. You never asked for help before. You would always train by yourself and when you do have someone to train with, you just wanted to spar and nothing else."

"I wanted his help because I was sick and tired of being weak. Like you were before until your dad came along."

Goten was taken back by Trunks's words. Goten has heard Trunks say some harsh words about someone, sometimes even him, but he does it just to mess around. This time, he wasn't trying to mess around, he intended to say the true in a very harsh way.

"You were always weak because you were knocked around by your mom. Then when the tournament came around, you were determined to get stronger and that never happened. All you did was embarrass yourself and went to the finals by luck. I would have won that easy, but you made it hard by transforming, all because you crazy-headed mom threatened you." Said Trunks.

"Don't remind me. I didn't know it happened. Just something snapped in me and I got so much more power-." Replied Goten.

"Yeah power that came out of nowhere and you didn't train yourself for it. You just intently got all that power and became so much stronger than me. That kind of power I wanted since I was first able to become Super Saiyan. I wanted to achieve Super Saiyan 2 and actually be a worthy warrior, but no, you got it first and you didn't have to put in any effort into getting this form. I put in so much more effort than you did and I was barely able to fully master Super Saiyan." Said Trunks as he started to get anger.

"Not my fault that I did it first. I'm still barely learning how to live naturally as a Super Saiyan. Dad said it was a good way to stay strong. It's hard to do considering that I barely learned the Kamehame and that was supposed to be easy. My dad is still helping me out."

"I can't believe you still need your dad's help for all that. You achieved Super Saiyan 2 without him. I think you are better off on your own or maybe Babidi can help you learn the techniques a lot faster."

"No. I don't need the wizards help. I'm better off struggling with the techniques…I thought you were better than this Trunks." Said Goten as he looked down at the ground.

"I am a lot better now since I have Babidi's help, but I guess I have to show you otherwise." Said Trunks as he started powering up.

Goten felt Trunks's power rising and looked at him. His energy was so different and stronger, but he had no choice but to stop Trunks before he hurts himself. Goten powered up as well and transformed to Super Saiyan 2. Trunks smiled and got into a fighting stance and Goten did the same as well, but he was so nervous because now, the tables have turned.

Back in the ship, everyone was in shock to see how Vegeta was now, a slave to Babidi. Goku's attention changed and he looked above him and sensed another evil energy that was similar to Vegeta's.

"Guys. I sense another strong power level outside where Trunks and Goten are at." Said Goku.

"Who could it be. It feels familiar." Replied Gohan.

"Hehehehehe. Well if you two were smart, you would know who it is and know what is gonna happen next." Said Vegeta as he turned to face Goku.

Goku and Gohan were confused for a while until Supreme Kai spoke up.

"It's Trunks. Babidi has taken control over him as well."

Both Goku and Gohan were shocked to hear this. Now two of their friends have fallen victim to Babidi's mind control.

"Now time to let the fun begin Kakarot. We are finally gonna settle this and prove who is better between us." Said Vegeta.

Another Chapter done. I hope I wrote this chapter right. I don't know if I have some grammar mistakes or not, but at least I finished this chapter.

Now the good stuff is about to happen soon. Hopefully this story gets a lot better and I hope to get more reviews and followers. I would appreciate it.
