So its been a really long long time since I updated this story...about three years...thats really embarrassing. To be completely honest I kinda forget I was writting this and then I found it again and was really inspired to write so I did. I'm sorry If you have been waiting for this and I'm sorry to keep you waiting. I hope you like it! As always reviews and critic are very welcome!

Briana twirled in front of the full- length mirror in her bedroom admiring her new dress. "Echo you are a goddess and are going to be the next big name in fashion! This dress is drop dead gorgeous!" She squealed into the phone. She couldn't stop appreciating her reflection. The eggplant colored number suited her perfectly. The bodice was adorned with dark purple and gold glass beads and a sweetheart neckline, while the skirt was made from layers of purple chiffon. She had pinned her dark hair in an intricate braided bun and accessorized the ensemble with gold dangly earrings and a delicate gold necklace and some strapy gold shoes.

"Of course I am!" Echo smugly replied. "I designed it with you in mind. To be honest I came up with the idea when we were in college and you drunkenly described your fantasy wedding. I sketched it for my Maid of Honor dress, but once you told me he was taking you to the Washington Ballet's presentation of Hamlet I knew it would be perfect."

"Oh Echo! You are an AMAZING person and best friend. I don't know what I would do with out you!" Bri declared.

"You'd be lost and look like a homeless person," Echo stated. "You have fun! Call me tomorrow with all the details! Love you girl!"

"Your probably right! And I will, Love you back!"

Just then there was a knock on her door. Well this is it! She thought to herself and she couldn't help but let out a little squeal of excitement. She let out a breath and opened the door and there he was. The sight of him sent her heart into overdrive. He was wearing a simple black tux, but had opted for a bow tie instead of a regular tie. He had one hand in his pants pocket and the other was holding a single long stem white rose. "Hi" she breathed.

"Hi" he said back. God she looks beautiful! Reid thought. He can't remember the last time he took a girl on a date that truly took his breath away, well he could but it was her and they were seven and seven year old don't really go on dates unless it's a play date. He carefully handed the rose, "You look beautiful Briana," he mused. "Absolutely stunning."

"Thank you," she blushed. "And you can call me Bri everybody dose."

"R-r-right I'm s-sorry."

"I mean you can call me Briana if you want it is my name after all and I have always been quite fond of it," she winked at him trying to soothe his nerves. "Let me get my coat and we can go." He nodded in agreement and helped her into her jacket. As soon as the couple walked into the hallway Penelope was all over them like white on rice.

"Hi! I'm Penelope I work with Reid at the BAU. Wow you're like super pretty! You guys make such a cute couple! I love it! Let me take a picture!" Penelope pushed them closer together before Bri could even respond to what was happening. Reid was turning increasingly darker shades of red as Pen snapped photos with all the enthusiasm as a mom whose son was going to prom.

"Baby Girl leave the poor kids alone." Derek appeared from Reid's apartment with a bowl of popcorn and put his arm around his girlfriend's shoulders. "They are going on a date not prom. Although they kinda do look like they are going to prom. Hi, I'm Derek Morgan I also work with Reid at the BAU." He shook Bri's hand.

"Hi, I'm Briana." She finally said. Wow Spencer has some really amazing friends she thought to herself and looked over at Spencer who was now shooting daggers with his eyes at his friends.

"Well we really should be going now," Spencer stated through thin lips and grabbing Bri's hand and gently pulling her toward the elevators. The other couple waved at them as they stepped into the elevator. "Well that was sufficiently awkward," Spencer huffed.

"I thought it was endearing," Bri giggled. "They seem sweet and it cute that they care so much about you. I didn't have someone to care about me like that for along time after we moved away from Vegas, not in till college when I met my best friend Echo. Who would have done the same thing by they way if she didn't have to work."

"Why didn't you say goodbye? One day you were there and the next gone," Spencer finally asked as they exited the elevator. He had been dying to ask her ever since he first figured out who she was.
