I honestly don't know why my docs keep doing this but it's fixed now I hope.
The organ sounded slowly as Emma, Princess of the Enchanted Forest, paced down the aisle. She wished she'd be able to see Killian right now; her whole family. There were too many people in the throne room for her to spot them however, at least at this vantage point. She didn't realize how things could change in just five years. From being an orphan, bail bonds person, single woman who hadn't seen her baby since she gave him up; to a princess with a large family and a kingdom to take care of. Married, loved and full of actual hope for the future.
Finally she was at the throne…her throne…the throne, whatever. The thing looked very comfortable, but she had to situate herself first so she wouldn't trip over her own coronation robe and tumble onto the velvet. Suddenly panicked, she looked for her family again. Killian was off to the side in a gold chair, holding their baby daughter Hope in his arms, alongside her parents. Henry, Jacinda and her granddaughter stood in the front row, smiling at her. And Regina stood on the other side of the aisle, beside another version of Robin Hood.
Everyone from Storybrooke that she knew and didn't know was there. Familiar faces were scattered throughout the large room where she could see them, and unfamiliar faces were curious to see the princess who had just come back to the Enchanted Forest a handful of years ago. It would've felt like a lot of pressure, if her mom hadn't sort of taught her how to rule, like learning how to drive a car. Receive the people, hear their problems and news, and deal with it justly. Be a kind and true leader. She had been able to do that as a Sheriff, this was just thousands more people.
Snow stood up from her chair and paced to the organ, given the crown on another velvet pillow. Emma moved her dress and robe so her legs touched the edge of the throne. Snow came back to face her. The people sat down slowly, creaking wood and rustling fabric sounded as the music faded, and Snow turned around to face the people, raising the crown above her head. Then she turned back around, and placed the crown on her daughter's head.
"Long Live Queen Emma" Snow declared, her voice sounded throughout the room.
"Long Live Queen Emma" The voices echoed in reply. The organ sounded again, and Emma sat down, the crown on her head. Cheers sounded for what seemed like hours, and she didn't know if she was allowed to get up and hug everyone who was there to support her. She definitely wanted to have Hope in her arms right then. Her baby daughter would make her feel so peaceful in the light of this overwhelming new inheritance she only found out about less than a decade ago. She was born in this world, yes. But she never knew that.
Never knew royal life. Never knew family, until now. Never trusted love, not really, after the things she'd been through. Now she would be expected to have a royal family, live a royal life, and love all of her inherited people. If those movies about Queen Elizabeth and the other English rulers were any indication.
