Chapter 2
As soon as Dani closed her front door she found herself leaning against it, unable to stop the wide smile from appearing on her face. She had only just met Santana however she couldn't wait to see her again. The attraction she felt towards the Latina was incredible, it was something that the blonde had never experience and if she was being honest with herself, it scared her but at the same time made her buzz with excitement.
When she had left the brunette she had wanted to kiss her, but felt something holding her back. When her lips touched Santana's cheek she felt a spark go through her, it made her think what it would be like to actually kiss her.
It was Monday morning and Dani had still not text Santana, which was starting to agitate the latina. Maybe I was to flirtatious and she wasn't into me or maybe she lost my number… where the thoughts running through her head. Little did she know that it was purely because Dani hadn't built up enough courage to send a message.
Things between Santana and Britney were getting worse, when she had turned up at her girlfriends house on Sunday instead of being greeted by someone who should have been happy to see her they just ended up having a huge argument over 'Santana never being there for her'. Which was of course bullshit. Santana had finally had enough and just stormed out, they haven't spoken since.
The latina had managed to avoid Britney for the majority of the day, not wanting to cause a scene in front of everyone. However the blonde had managed to hunt her down at the end of the day by her locker. "Hey baby, why have you been avoiding me? I'm sorry about this weekend can we just get past it and get back to how we were?" Britney asks with sad eyes.
Santana just wants to turn around and tell her to stick it, especially since meeting Dani, but unfortunately Dani didn't seem to be interested, "Brit we can't keep doing this, we're arguing all the time. I know I mess up sometimes but most of the time it's over stuff that you used to not even think twice about before dismissing it."
"I know sweetie, I'm sorry, I'll try calming down? Can you come round after school?" Britney asks with a smile that used to make Santana melt, but not anymore.
"I can't, I have to help my Abuela move the front room around."
"Fine, maybe another time then." The blonde replies and pretty much storms away, the brunette can't help but roll her eyes at her girlfriend.
Dani had been on her mind since they met, Santana knew she shouldn't have been thinking about her, especially not as much as she has since she has a girlfriend, but she couldn't help it. She had felt a spark between them and an instant attraction, something she had never felt with anyone else. She felt her phone vibrate in her pocket, expecting it to be Brit having another dig at her for 'not being there' she took it out of her pocket and casually read it. When she saw who it was from she nearly dropped her phone.

Hey, its Dani, I'm sorry I haven't text you before today. I didn't really know what to say and I had loads of stuff to do over the weekend. I was wondering if you were free at any point over the next couple of days? It would be really great to see you again… xo
Santana quickly saves the number to her phone before sending a very quick reply, but not before reading it over at least 20 times.

Hey Dani, its cool, I had things going on at the weekend too. Sure thing, it'd be great to see you again to, I'm actually around later today if you're free? xo
Santana starts to walk to her car, she was hating this. Even though they had only ever met once, she really liked Dani and felt like she needed to end things with Brit, but another part of her was saying what if this is nothing, what if you end things with Brit and nothing happens with Dani? It would be a huge mistake ending a year long relationship over seeing someone once. Idiot. But deep down, she knew what she needed to do. Checking her phone again before starting the journey to her Abuelas she noticed Dani had replied.

She couldn't help feeling a bit guilty because she was with Brit and felt like because she felt an incredible attraction towards Dani that she was in some way betraying her, but she had to see her again. Just the idea of Dani referring to it as a date made the butterflies in Santana's stomach become more intense.
However little did she know that Britney would be surprising her at her Abuela's.
