Terri and Will are sitting at the bar in Breadstix.
"It's good to see you. You look good. I hear that you're a high school history teacher? How is that?" asks Terri, trying to make conversation.
"Where have you been, Terri?" asks Will, ignoring her question.
"I don't have any reasons that are gonna comfort you. I don't have any explanations that are gonna satisfy you. I wanted this."
"It's that simple?"
"Yeah. You were supposed to mourn me and move on."
"You were my wife, and I loved you. How could I not search for you?"
"Because I wasn't lost, Will." She takes a paper and writes something. "I understand that you know my son Kurt and I hear that he's been looking for me. So…" She gives the paper to Will. "I want you to arrange for a meeting with us."
Will looks at the paper. "You want me to deliver a message?"
Terri smiles. "Yeah."
Will throws the paper. "Screw you, selfish bitch." He gets up and leaves the restaurant.
In the parking lot, Will is going to his car and Terri appears behind him.
"What do you want from me?" Will asks.
"I told you."
"I'm not gonna do anything for you."
She strangles him and pushes him against his car. "You better tell Kurt that I want to meet or I'm gonna start killing the citizens of this town one by one and I'm gonna start with your history students. Got it?" She throws him on the ground and gives him the paper.
He gets up and looks at the paper.

Kurt is on the phone with Puck. "I'm supposed to help build the Mr. and Mrs. Lima float for the Founders' Day parade. If I don't I get the wrath of Quinn, but I wanted to check in first."
"Well, I'm doing great, thanks for asking," replies Puck.
"Checking on Blaine."
"Oh, him? Oh, he's…he's terrible."
"What's the matter?"
"He's just back to boring, straight-laced, off the junk. You've successfully cured him of anything that was interesting about his personality."
"Don't forget who helped me."
"And I hate myself for it." He starts smiling. "Did Uncle Cooter mention anything to you about my field trip with the history teacher?"
"No. I've been avoiding him. Why? What's he up to?"
"I don't know. But I'd love if you could find out for me."
Kurt looks at the clock in his room. "I've got to go I'm late."
Puck smirks. "Have fun with the Lima Queen, I know I did."
Kurt scoffs and hangs up.
Puck hangs up. He gets up and gives the phone to Blaine when he walks in. "Kurt called." He smiles and leaves the room.
Blaine looks at him and then at his phone.

In the cafeteria, Will is giving papers to students. "So, these are the specs for the History department. For the Founders' Day float, we'll be recreating the battle of Willow Creek. Artie has been nominated at the head of the production design," informs Will.
"By whom?" asks Artie.
"By me. I've seen your sketches and they're good."
"I'm not really into the…"
"Well, you just pick your team, be creative and…." He sees Kurt and Blaine enter the cafeteria. "And don't mess it up." Will walks towards Kurt and Blaine.
"Great!" He turns to Sam. "You want to help me out with this?"
"Not really, no," answers Sam.
"Hey, Mr. Schue," greets Kurt when he sees Will.
"Come with me. We need to talk," replies Will.
Blaine and Kurt look at each other and follows Will to his classroom.
"Alright, show me," says Mercedes as she and Quinn are sitting at a table.
"Let's reference last year's Mr. and Mrs. Lima float," replies Quinn. She types "Lima Founders' Day" into Google on her computer. "This is what they did last year." She turns her computer and shows the picture to Mercedes. "And this is exactly what we don't want to do."
"Ew. Okay! So, what are we doing?"
"Southern classic elegance."
"Gone with the Wind?"
Quinn gasps. "How'd you know?"
"You channel Scarlett, daily."
"So true!" They laugh. Quinn looks around the cafeteria. "Where's Kurt? He's supposed to be helping."
Mercedes shrugs. "I don't know."
"Okay, what's the deal?"
"What do you mean?"
"Don't play dumb. You and Kurt are fighting. Spill!"
"It's nothing."
"It's not nothing. You know this whole float is supposed to be about friends creating something together and everyone is fighting. Sam and Artie hate each other, you and Kurt are on the outs and I don't like it! And I can't fix it if I don't know what's wrong."
"I can't talk about it, Quinn, I'm sorry."
Quinn looks at her disappointedly.

Puck enters Will's classroom.
"Puck, thanks for coming," says Will.
"Sorry I'm late. My dog ate my uh…never mind," replies Puck. He looks at Blaine and Kurt. "What's with all the furrowed brows?"
"I saw Terri last night."
"Terri's here?" Will nods. "In town?" He turns to Kurt and looks at him.

Cooter drives his car towards the house. There is a sign reading "Laski Realty FOR SALE Foreclosure Open House" out the front. He parks his car and enters in the house. He's going into a room. A man and a woman are dancing. Terri is watching them.
"You're late," says Terri when she sees Cooter walk through the door.
"I didn't realize there was a schedule." He looks at the man and woman. "What's with the sideshow?"
"Cherie is a little jazz singer that I picked up in a blues bar in Brooklyn. And I got the cowboy at a gay rodeo in Amarillo."
"He's gay?"
"Not right now, he's very good to me." To the man and woman. "Hey Chérie? S'il vous plaît laissez-nous." They leave. "I'm teaching them French." Cooter gives her a disappointed look. "Oh! I can smell the judgment coming off you."
"Well, they're people, Terri, and you're treating them like dolls."
"If we're gonna be partners you have to stop being such a hater."
"We're in a partnership together because we share a mutual goal. Don't ever confuse that for an acceptance of your lifestyle."
She scoffs. "My lifestyle? So, I assume that you still don't have the invention."
"I'll get it. I said I would."
"Uh, you threatened to expose Noah Puckerman, that didn't work. You killed that Pearl lady, still no invention. I really don't think that your plan is working, Coots."
"Well, you being here is not going to help anything."
She slaps him at vamp-speed and he falls. "You failed, Coots. I'm gonna take it from here."
Cooter sits up, take a breath, and looks at her walking away.

Will, Kurt, Blaine, and Puck talk in Will's classroom.
"Did you ask her about Uncle Cooter? Are they working together?" asks Puck.
"No," replies Will.
"No, they're not?"
"No, I didn't ask."
"What about the invention?"
"Didn't ask."
"Did she know about the tomb vampires?"
"I don't know."
"Did words completely escape you?"
"No, I was a little too distracted by my dead vampire ex-wife to ask any questions."
Puck turns to Kurt. "What did she want?"
"She wants to see me, Puck," answers Kurt.
He looks at Kurt with worry.
"Mr. Schue is supposed to arrange a meeting. We don't know why or what she wants," says Blaine.
Puck still looks at Kurt. "You don't have to see her if you don't want to."
Blaine, confused by this sudden sensitivity, looks at Puck and then at Kurt.
"I don't really have a choice," replies Kurt.
"She's threatened to go on killing spree," explains Will.
"Oh! I take it that's not okay with you guys," says Puck.
"I want to do it. I want to meet her. If I don't, I know I'll regret it," claims Kurt.
Puck and Kurt look at each other.

Kurt is sitting alone at Breadstix. Blaine is sitting at the bar. He watches after Kurt.
"Can you hear me? Thanks for coming, I'm nervous," says Kurt.
Blaine smiles at him.
"I'm happy that you're here. I love you."
Blaine moves his lips and tells him "I love you'.
Terri arrives and sits down with him. "Hello Kurt." Terri stares at Kurt. "You look just like him, it's eerie."
"You've met Kristian?"
"He found me after I turned. Genetic curiosity, I suppose. He would be fascinated by you."
Kurt looks at Terri's necklace. "Is that how you can walk in the day?"
"Kristian helped me obtain it."
"Who's my father?"
"Not important. He was a teenage waste of space."
"A name would be nice."
"It would, wouldn't it? You ask a lot of questions."
"Why did you compel that man to kill himself? Right after he told me to stop looking for you."
"Dramatic impact. I wish it would have been more effective."
"Human life means that little to you?"
"Means nothing to me. It's just part of being what I am."
"No, it's not. I know other vampires, that's not true."
"Your boyfriend over there by the pool table? Blaine Anderson. Why Blaine? Why didn't you go for Puck? Or are you enjoying them both like Kristian did?"
Kurt is shocked by the question. Blaine looks uncomfortable.

Puck and Will are waiting outside across the street.
"We should be in there," says Puck.
"No, Terri made it clear we're not to step a foot inside," replies Will.
"I'm not going to kill her in a crowded restaurant."
"You're not going to kill her period."
"She ruined your life and you still want to protect her?"
"She's my wife." Puck gives him a look. "Was my wife. I looked for the woman I married, but she wasn't there. Whoever that is, she's cold and detached."
"Yeah, she's given up her humanity."
"Yeah, see, I don't get that. Blaine has his humanity, he's a good guy. And you're a dick and you kill people but I still see something human in you. But with her there was…nothing."
"You can turn it off, like a button you can press. I mean, Blaine's different. He wants the whole human experience. He wants to feel every episode of F.R.I.E.N.D.S., so he shuts his feelings out. The problem is, as a vampire, your instinct is not to feel. Terri chose the easier road - no guilt, no shame, no regret. I mean, come on, if you could turn it off, wouldn't you?"
"You haven't."
"Of course, I have, Will. It's why I'm so fun to be around."

Inside, Kurt and Terri continue talking.
"Why did you want to meet me? Can't be to just catch up," says Kurt.
"Because I'm curious about you. But the real reason is: I want what your uncle wants. Jonathan Hummel's invention," answers Terri.
"How do you know my uncle?"
"As you probably know, I went to school here. Cooter's a few years older than me. He had a crush on me for years. He was the first one that told me about vampires."
"So, what made you want to be one?"
"It's a very long list of reasons, Kurt. All of which I'm sure you've thought about."
"No."
"That was your first lie. It's inevitable, you're going to get old, Blaine won't." Kurt looks at Blaine. He seems sad. "Forever doesn't last very long when you're human."
"I'm sorry, but I don't have what you're looking for." He gets up but Terri grabs him arm and forces him to sit down.
"Sit down." Blaine starts going towards them. "And tell your boyfriend to walk away." Kurt gives Blaine a nod. "I want the invention."
"I don't have it."
"I know that, but Puck does and you're going get it for me."
"He's not going to give it to me."
"Then the blood will be on your hands." She gets up from her seat. "It was nice meeting you Kurt." She leaves.
Kurt cries as Terri walks away. Blaine starts to walk towards him. Mercedes arrives and Kurt gets up and sees her. Blaine arrives behind Kurt. Kurt looks at him and then looks at Mercedes. Mercedes looks at Blaine, remembering everything, and leaves.
