Chapter 8 "Uneasy Rest"
After sorting things out with Integra and a lawman of some sort I was no longer being pursued by the United Kingdom authorities, which sounds a lot friendlier than empire in my opinion. I often wonder why my airhead, peace-loving grandfather decided to call our new country an empire, perhaps he simply liked the word. But my country's choice of branding aside, I am back at a Hellsing HQ and was given my own room on the 1st floor. This room assignment has its pros and cons, one of which being I can now change my clothing without worrying about being seen by Seras or the opposite occurring, a con being that it's brighter and hotter up here. I have a major dislike for bright rooms and heat, which seems like a God's cruel joke, considering I was born in the Land of Fire. Anyway the soldier's barracks are across the hall so it isn't very quiet but I used to sleep on a battlefield filled with the sounds of artillery fire so a couple of mercenaries ain't shit.
Right now I'm sitting on my bed, trying to get a feel for the firearm Walter gave me, which I rudely dubbed the Adder, by shifting it from hand to hand and loaded rounds into extra magazines. After, I pulled out the only payment I wanted for my employment in the Hellsing Organization, the curved blade I eyed the other day, which Walter informed me was called a Kukri. I began to sharpen and oil the blade of the knife, relieved that Integra told me that I most likely wouldn't see any more action for at least a week. Though I want to return home, I can't do anything at the moment so training to regain chakra control is the best course of action for the moment. After I finished maintaining my knife I entered a lotus meditative stance and attempted to enter sage mode, to gather energy from nature itself. After I successfully made a link with nature I was able to see what the others in the mansion were up to, I sensed the guards around the mansion were rather lax but weren't completely shirking their duties, Seras was being shown the newest weapon developed by Walter, Alucard was resting and Sir Integra was talking with...some important people. I vaguely remember being told to behave and not go upstairs until like after five in the afternoon but not exactly why I had to stay away. Not that I mind, I dislike being around others, especially uptight old farts like these...knights dressed like Anderson seemed to be. Satisfied with the results of this journey into becoming one with nature I decided to take a quick nap.
Meanwhile a blue tour bus was speeding down a dirt path that was surrounded by forest that lead to Hellsing HQ. The occupants shifted randomly about in their seats, which barely held their bulk bodies, who also held armored riot shields above their heads horizontally. Allowing their masters free reign to rest on the shield formation that resembled scales or insect chitin. The masters laid on their back, motionless, allowing the panicked driver to do his job. The younger master had a sinister grin as the thermal scanner around the gate of the Hellsing mansion saw only one occupant and the X-Ray scanner read that the vehicle was a two level bus that had a slightly warped second level flooring. The guard in charge of security radioed a duo of guards to intercept the vehicle before it made it to the main entrance, as they made their way to the garage to retrieve a vehicle of their own they passed a long-limbed priest who remained still guarding a guest room door. His eyes remained trained on a young blonde who was panicking as he had ripped a trash bag that he had to through out. "I dislike his eyes." Was all the scarred man thought as he peered into the boy's almost rosy pink irises. The boy smiled. The priest was about to confront the out of place child when he discovered the boy was looking past him and at a pair of men who were dressed like the blond. Both men had shortly cut blonde hair and brown eyes and a fairly muscular build for some servants at a nobleman's manor. One of the men put a hand on the boy's shoulder and silently scolded him as the other deftly collected the trash and disposed of it. As the quick-tempered adult walked away with the boy the other stepped towards the man. "Forgive my friend's attitude with the boy, Father. He means well and looks after the boy like an apprentice, unfortunately he chose a clumsy student." The man stated in a unusual accent that resembled a fellow member of the priest's organization. The priest nodded but offered no words. As the man walked away he sighed, "I've got an uneasy feeling and I doubt it's my age causing it."
I woke up groggily and looked at my clock to see that it was almost dusk, the full moon was shining down on me through the large window beside my bed. "If it started to rain it would be my favorite kind of night." I stated softly. "I agree." Was the unwarranted response I heard originate behind me, causing me to turn quickly, summoning a kunai and activating my Sharingan to cope with the low amount of light, reflexively. I releasing the breathe I had unintentionally held in, when I saw it was only Alucard who was slowly applauding my reaction. "Damn it dude. I almost shit myself." I said as he chuckled. "I just wanted to take the time learn more about you, Mr. Uzumaki." I sighed, I really dislike being interrupted by people during my alone time but I dislike not having any games to play or a movie to watch even more. I can only sleep so much after all. So I sat down on my bed and motioned for Alucard to sit next to me. I then looked at the door and rubbed the sleep from my eyes before stating with a slightly louder voice, "It opens, Seras." I heard a faint curse before Seras walked in with a sheepish expression. "I was summoned by master...how did you..." She started before I answered her question. "I could see your...youkai, your life essence, through the door with my eyes. Everyone's essence is unique so that's how I noticed that it was you specifically peeping on me. Unless you intended to gather information or kill me I think you'd be considered a pervert by most, Seras." I explained in a serious tone, until the end of course. It seemed however Seras was as obstinate to other's abuse as I was. "Sure, it's good to see you aren't projecting your desires on others." She said with a tone that embodied the feeling of not giving a shit. I was speechless, I've never been outsmarted like that, except by mother of course. "W-whatever. What did you want to know, Alucard?" I resisted the urge to get pissed when I saw Seras giggle out of the corner of my eye. I then made a mental note to myself to remember that the people here aren't as idiotic as back home, I need to up my shit talking. "I want to know more about this Demon." He said in a flat, intrusive voice. I took a good, long minute trying to concentrate a life long, ancient tale into a couple of sentences. "In my world, a long time ago man was nothing but food to monsters such as yourself, a female ancestor of mine was upset with humanity's struggle and ate some forbidden fruit from a big tree on a whim and got the powers of chakra. The tree got angry and turned into a monster called the Shinju and tried to get its chakra back, the chick's son, was called the Sage of the Six Paths, who was born with an even greater control over chakra and defeated all monsters and the Shinju. But he couldn't kill the Shinju so he ripped its soul into 9 demons and one of them is my tenant, the nine tailed demon fox, Kurama. The son then gave all humans chakra so we could have a better understanding of each other, to create peace, but humans instead weaponized the chakra and then promptly began fighting for power. I'm a direct descendant of the Sage by the way. " I said before catching my breath, long ass story. "Interesting, is this demon able to speak like a man? Or is he like a beast?" Alucard inquired as I felt Seras' eyes glance at me, not that I blame her, it's quite the bittersweet tale. I was about to respond when I felt Kurama reawaken and take charge, which I accepted greatly. My eyes burned crimson, gained slits similar to Alucard's, my canine teeth grew as my eye sockets and lips darkened. Then Kurama's voice emanated from my vocal chords. "I am not a fucking idiot you rotten sack of spoiled blood! I am smarter than any of you mortal idiots!" Kurama yelled. "I am not mortal, demon. I am a vampire." Alucard responded smugly. "Bullshit, if you can die you aren't immortal. Even if you kill me I will come back to life elsewhere, I never can die and I was born this way, I didn't give up on life and accept some pathetic fallen angel's curse." The Kyūbi continued before I slammed my mouth shut after many failed attempts. Alucard merely laughed loudly, like he heard the greatest joke in a while. "You are just like how I imagined a demon to be, actually you two are both very interesting, it's good to see new kinds of monsters coming up." Alucard said. I did my best to take the comment as a compliment and nodded, trying to suppress a trigger word. Seras was kind of taken back from seeing a vampire argue with a demon.
Alucard then began to interrogate Kurama about my world, to the point that I made shadow clone for Kurama to speak through and sat on my bed and stare at the two older creatures with dull expressions. "Seras." Her eyes rolled to my direction but her face retained it's bored expression. "Hm?" I started to bite my thumbnail in boredom. "I'd rather do anything than sit in here bored. Have they moved a TV into your room?" She nodded and got up motioning for me to follow. I turned to my Kurama possessed clone and said, "No Jutsu or broken walls got it? Walter has too much to deal with as it is." He just scoffed and shooed me away. I pressed a seal etched into my bed sheets and summoned Miso so he could watch TV as well. Seras sighed in exasperation, for a person who didn't believe in Santa as a kid being shown that vampires, demons and magic exists was a bit too much to take in on such short notice. In a surprising display of cuteness, Miso leapt on Seras' shoulders and cuddled around her neck. Seras didn't overreact like an idiotic elemental female though, she just scratched Miso under the chin and kept on walking. A few minutes later we found ourselves in Seras' cellar, I mean room, she was a bit flustered because she got lost a couple of times. Though to be honest the layout of the manor was pretty confusing. She stopped just short of the door and turned to tell me something.
I did my best to hide the embarrassment at being unable to find my own damn room and asked Kirisuto if he could give me a second to move stuff around in my room. He motioned for his fox to return, the mammal responded promptly by hopping down and scurrying between his legs, then answered with a simple "ok." I calmly entered my room, ensuring that my door opened enough to just let me squeeze through, before unintentionally slamming it shut. My eyes darted across the room as I cursed my laziness, there were various articles of clothing laid about the room, which would be fine if they didn't happen to all be underwear. I darted across the room, picking up my clothing and tossing it under my bed for fixing the bed as well. Satisfied, I opened the door and let my guest in.
I sighed as I waited for Seras to collect and hide her panties and bras that were strewn across her room, I was pleased that she had some level of shame but I was too observant for the door to be opened at all and for me not see anything. I just laughed it off though, I needed to lighten up a little if I was to stick around this world for a while. I need to accept that even if I found a way back home, I was too weak at the moment to even breach the first barrier surrounding Konoha, let alone the Emperor's compound. Seras opened the door about a minute later and let me in. As she walked over to her TV to grab her remote, I sat on the ground and placed my hands palm down at my sides, I flinched in surprise when one hand felt silky smooth fabric, I tossed the article of clothing deeper under the bed. Doing my best not to out myself to Seras, I then eyed, Miso to make sure he wouldn't rat me out either. I didn't notice that Seras turned to the same time as well though, we simultaneously discovered that Miso has one of her bras donned on his head, forming a makeshift helmet. At that moment I almost wished I had died back in Konoha, I immediately unsummoned the retarded ass fox and covered my eyes. "Sorry about that...he's always be a bit of a retard, you can move that and I won't mention it...ever...I promise." I beckoned, praying that Miso didn't ruin my only chance of watching TV. I heard her walk to the bra, put it in a drawer and place something in my hands. I opened my eyes and saw a video game controller in my hands, it was actually very similar to ones back home but seemed slightly more advanced. I was about to comment on it before Seras looked at me square in the eye and said,"Don't worry I know it was an accident. Could you just get my controller ready while I put these up?" I nodded and pressed the button I saw Seras press on my own, after a few seconds it flashed green and the logo lit up. As the Draculina returned after having stowed away her undergarments, I handed her the controller as she sat beside me in a cross-legged position. She then said calmly as relaxed, "I suggest that you never mention what you saw again or else you may end up a stupid ghoul." I scoffed at the idea of being a ghoul, let alone a vampire and responded haughtily, "I'd actually turn into a vampire just like you, I'd probably be a better one too." Seras' head darted to me and her countenance morphed into an expression of disbelief followed by a tinge of anger followed quickly by a slight smirk. My face fell and I said in an indignant tone,"Males can be as emotionally inept as any female, Seras. You specifically have no room to talk shit to me about my lack of experience, I don't even understand how you got so old and still managed to stay 'untouched'." Seras laugh hard at my retort before navigating the consoles interface to select a game while saying, "I chose not to be a hussy of my own accord, idiot. I wasn't born cursed with a passive-aggressive personality and a bad sense of...everything." I felt a physical weight on my shoulders like an anvil was dropped on me before I went limp with depression and laid out on Seras' bed. She didn't seem to mind me using my bed as she knocked me out of the way to sit on the bed beside the pile of sadness known as Kirisuto. I sat up and begrudgingly grabbed my controller, my only joy coming from the fact I get to play a game after a shitty week. "I just hope Seras has a good choice in games." Was the only though crossing my mind scape as the screen tuned white then showed a hub of sorts for the different things the console did. I'm the middle of said hub was the only thing that was conclusive between this world and my own, besides the wildlife, mother...fucking...monopoly. "No...I'LL BE HERE FOR YEARS!" I yelled before I sensed the Kyuubi's presence re-enter my consciousness, I mentally asked the reason for his quick return and he responded with a serious tone. "I think something's going on, chakra signatures are disappearing and empty ones are appearing." I immediately formed a neutral hand-seal ideal for sensing and molded my chakra to reach out and search my surroundings. I noticed the 'empty' chakra entities Kurama mentioned and identified them as ghouls, I also grimaced as I noticed a couple of the humans' chakra signatures fade and reappear as empty ones. I grabbed Seras by the shoulder and did my best to translate my discovery to English in the smallest amount of words as possible. "Ghouls are on site, we need to get to a superior for orders. " I stated as quickly as possible before I darted out, pulling Seras along, using my Sharingan to my own residual chakra leading back to my room. As we came upon my room I turned and told Seras to go alert the mercenaries, she ran past me and went to bang in their door as I entered my room. I quickly assessed all the weapons I had at my disposal, keeping in mind that Seras needed to be armed too and maybe even some of the mercenaries. The melee weapons I had consisted of my kunai pouch, which contained 10 standard kunai, my chokutō, my kukri and my ROOT ninjatō. Plus I have another twenty kunai and fifty shuriken I can summon using my clothing summoning seals. His ranged weapons consisted of a shuriken pouch, holding 25 shuriken, my revolver paired with thirty-six .45 caliber shells, and the Adder with ten magazines holding eight rounds each. I sure as hell don't have an armory but I think we could manage, there are about a dozen mercenaries in this wing plus Seras and I. I could give everyone a knife and the best shots my firearms but I still don't like the odds considering how many ghouls I felt outside, so I drew a kunai and slit my wrist quickly. I then smeared the blood to my palm and rushed to the the hand seals required to summon Katsuye before slamming my hand on the floor. Katsuye soon appeared in her human form, sadly unarmed, I offered her my chokutō causing her to be confused immediately. "Kirisuto what's wrong? Also you still haven't said why-" she started before I interrupted, "Counting us we have sixteen soldiers, are separated from our superiors and will probably be facing around fifty to eighty undead. Kinda like Edo Tensei except they create more of themselves by eating people and are mindless." I explained. She frowned, obviously seeing through my attempt to dodge the question. "I suggest we move stealthily and avoid open combat until we meet with our superiors...also at least tell me why we're here?" I couldn't deal with this at the moment so I just activated my Mangekyō Sharingan and she knew immediately severity of the situation, to get these eyes you have to lose practically everything and she knew it. "After, I promise." I said trying to calm her nerves before I deactivated the energy going to my eyes to maintain the power. She tried to get a feel for my chokutō while I secured my kukri tommy belt and my ninjatō along my back horizontally. Seras entered my room as I summoned Miso and instructed him on what's going on. "How are they doing weapons wise?" I beckoned Seras only to be answered by the mercenary leader P-something. "The two sharpshooters I have in this wing have rifles but only got two extra magazines, only half of the rest of us have hand guns including moa." I tossed him my old revolver and handed him my kunai pack before summoning two more and holding them up for him to see, along with his goons peering in the door frame. "Back home we've used these to kill each other on the battlefield and each other's homes for at least 500 years. They're great for stabbing or throwing if you got enough balls. I appreciate that we got guns but it's better if we're not noticed until we meet up with your friends and Sir Integra, I suggest we shut up for now and if we're seen we kill them quietly. No gunfire." I explained. " I agree. You look like you've been around when some pooches got screwed huh kid? Well that's good, builds character my old man used to say. Move out gentlemen, let the kid and the ladies go first." Miso immediately grew to the point where he rivaled a large dog in size while Katsuye adjusted her grip on the sheath of my Mother's chokutō, pulled her hood up and got closer to my left as Miso did my right. The last thing I did was turn over the Adder and it's magazines to Seras wordlessly before turning, laying a hand on my ninjatō's handle and starring the march towards the conference room.
I was slightly nervous about traversing the manor when it's filled with enough ghouls to make Kirisuto cautious but all that tension faded a minute ago. We had been walking silently down the hall for about twenty minutes in a formation where the pig's grunts split evenly and walked single file on both sides of the hall with Kirisuto's knives at the ready. They kept a keen eye in the doors before them, waiting in case they opened revealing ghouls while the leaders, and Kirisuto's...friends, stayed in the middle, scanning the corridors themselves. It seems one mercenary was to lax, drunk, or just retarded because we only discovered we missed an undead assailant when the start of a corrupted moan sounded off behind us. Though the noise was quickly drowned out by two quiet squelches and a wet thud when Kirisuto threw a duo of fucking ninja stars at the ghoul's neck and temple, how did he hit the temple when the ghoul was facing us you might ask? He threw one and then the other so it made the first bounce of the bloody wall and impale the dead shit's head. Also, the only way I could tell what happened was I am a vampire, supernatural senses and I still barely noticed what he did. I am really beginning to question what exactly is going on with that guy, he's very different from us, hell, from anyone I've ever met. Anyway, Whisker's ninja feats aside about five minutes later we made it to the large doors of the conference waiting room and upon Pip's orders to stand along the sides of the door, the sharpshooters were lying prone along the hall floor with rifles at the ready, while Pip was covering one door. Kirisuto's fox and that girl from the other day were covering the other door with Kirisuto standing in the middle with his sword drawn, which was covered by a weird dark blue light. Kirisuto's eyes turned red with those comma looking thingies again, to the surprise of Pip who never saw the phenomenon before. "Kid, are you alright?" He whispered motioning to his sole good eye, Whiskers shook his head no and whispered in response. "Family heirloom magic bullshit, helps me see stuff better." He explained, which cause me too have a multitude of more pressing questions, but Pip, being a typical village idiot, nodded and went with it. Pip counted off to three before he kicked the doors and out popped three fast moving opponents the center one had two knives and the one to its left had a sword, both of which were parried by Kirisuto's sword while the third opponent had a gun to Pip's temple while Kirisuto's pals had the gunner pinned with a sword positioned to the neck.
I grit my teeth as I fought the three blades clashing with my sword into commission before I pumped more wind chakra into the blade and sliced the dual-wielding opponent's blades in half. I then grabbed the swordsman by the throat and threatened them with my sword. My eyes opened in recognition at the opponent I disarmed but I kept a stead hand on my hostage. "Are you behind the ghouls, Anderson!" I exclaimed shifting my hand holding the woman with her strange black robes slightly to account for her thrashing. "We met sooner than I thought we would Mr. Uzumaki, you are much better at strategic tactics than I." He said calmly, causing my already short temper to fray at the edges. I growled a command to my Elemental companions in my native language and, strangely, my hostage yelled 'no' in said language to no avail. Miso bit into the gunman, or more specifically gunwoman's calf while Katsuye slapped the magazine release button of the gunwoman's pistol and fired the sole bullet in the chamber into the ceiling. Alexander's grin widened but I interrupted whatever he was going to say and I lifted my hostage a foot off the ground and yelled, "Who's side are you on!?" He lifted his hands over his head and said, "I thought you were joking...we are the ones your master is holding council with." He explained to my surprise as Pip spoke up, "I thought the same...until your pet took a chunk out of one of the lady's finely sharpen legs!" I frowned and released the women before channeling medical energy and healed the bruising. "Sumimasen. (I'm sorry) "I muttered to the the woman sheepishly but she just remained silent. I made my way to the gun-toting woman and said as I healed her thigh, "Back home we often were tasked eliminating past allies who were turncoats. Don't test me...I will do anything required to do my duty. I was not trained to be hero, I am trained to be a necessary evil." I stated only to be slapped by the gun-toting woman, when I finished healing her she pulled her leg from my grasp and rose to her full height shakily a few feet away. Miso growled and Katsuye let out a low hiss as I did my best to not get too angry, which was no easy task. I looked woman and growled out, "You best not touch me ever again because even if I was blessed with a sense of mercy I can't fix a broken neck." I then straightened myself and motioned for the Hellsing troops to enter the waiting room as well. I scanned the with a discerning eye as Pip ordered the mercs to position themselves next to the nearby furniture to create a makeshift barrier, as quickly as possible I might add. I say back silent as Pip asked Anderson about the rest of his mercenaries station about the manor, unfortunately Anderson had no useful information so I tuned the pair out. I looked to my right and my eyes met with Seras' blue irises, I stared forward thinking before motioning her to come closer. She complied and I said loud enough for only her to hear, "Don't stray to far from me when they're around. I don't know about them. Also do you sense Alucard anywhere." I asked. She nodded and said, "I agree and I kinda feel that Master is fine but he's not going anywhere, like he's waiting for something." My ever present frown grew but my thoughts were lost when a merc cried out causing me to make a fist and dart towards the cry on instinct only to stop in my tracks and lower my guard. Walter bowed slightly as if he hadn't just jumped over a five foot tall barricade without ease at such an...tender...age. Hell Katsuye even clapped slightly to my surprise, at this point I'd think she'd pull a score card out of nowhere. "Hi Walt." I muttered with a lazy wave. "Mr. Uzumaki, Mr. Bernadotte, Anderson, Ms. Victoria, Ms. Wolfe, Takagi-san." He replied in kind causing eve your who gave a shit, not me, to be surprised at his memory. I asked with a somewhat annoyed tone, "Walt. I'm debating whether not I should interrupt Sir Integra's meeting, I don't wished to be shot at for insolence or whatever." I said with the closest thing to a pout I emote. Walter smiled, "She would be most grateful to have any reason to get out of a meeting, especially with Iscariot. No offense." He stated looking at said organization's members with a sheepish smile. Finally getting some form of permission I interrupted whatever retort the Iscariot members may have had by throwing four shuriken at the screws keeping an air duct grate in place before reaching up and yanking it out of the wall. "Seras, Walt, follow. Everyone else stay and guard." Anderson's argued a member of his group should enter in case they were attempting to eliminate a member of his organization's hierarchy and I responded by saying I was cool with it as long as no one stabs me in the ass in the air ducts. A few moments later I went over the order of our air duct herd mentally, the order was: me, Wolfe, Victoria, Walter and Takagi. I did my best to move quickly and resist the urge to not look back at this Wolfe person.
After an incredibly awkward journey in the air ducts, I noticed the ass in front of me found the appropriate hole to enter the conference room, slammed the vent cover out of place, tossed it away from the long table, leapt out only to bounce off a wall then landed on all fours beside Sir Integra. I held on to the edges of the hole and let my legs dangle and tried to let how only to let my irrational ass fear of heights get to me. Just when I was about to let go, I felt a pair of hands grab my ankles and yank me off the opening, caught my waist then placed me on the ground next to Maxwell. My eyes darted up and I saw Uzumaki standing beside me causing me to grit my teeth at his actions, especially in front of the fucking director. "Thanks." I said, eyeing Maxwell, who seemed blissfully unaware, only to look at the dick who noticed what I was thinking and left me be. The old man and the vampire apparently already exited the corridor during my little scuffle so it was only Yumiko remaining to get out. Said girl timidly let one leg dangle, struggling to keep her robes down, and was taking her time getting out. Once again the angry one reached up grabbed her by the belt and yanked her out, I rushed to catch Yumiko, looking up to say something when I discovered he was already by Integra's side, his head down and his eyes closed. "Sorry. He's weird like that." Whispered the vampire to me, craning her neck at the soldier as I put Yumiko down and stood beside Maxwell with her.
"Uzumaki, what is the meaning if this...?" Asked Sir Integra only to be interrupted immediately. "Ghouls, around fifty, give or take a dozen. Most are trying to get on through the front, a few are wandering the halls. Pip's got a dozen men outside from my wing and the rest are MIA." I explained causing some of the conference members wearing suits to almost shit their pants but Integra merely scoffed at them and began thinking. "Any suggestions?" She asked no one in particular. "We have an evacuation helicopter on the roof we could..." Walter started before I activated my Sharingan and did my best to see if I could look for this heli-thingy no avail. The Sharingan sure as shit is no byakugan, I can't see through shit but can sense something as dangerous as a ghoul horde. I then decided to make a duo of shadow clones, to the shock of everyone who hadn't seen the technique before, who promptly entered the air ducts. "I'm sending them to see if it's still there. Anyway we should discuss an alternate plan just in case." I said with the same neutral tone. She sighed. "Thanks for the assistance but I didn't really want these people in particular to know about your abilities." She started before the people she was referring to flipped shit. "What is the meaning of this whole other type of heretic in your midst? A new a vampire and a witch!" Yelled the ponytail wearing man only to be cut off by yours truly. "Hey! I'm no fucking witch! I'm a Shinobi!" I exclaimed causing the man to look somewhat stunned at my retort. It seems once again that the robe wearing woman spoke my language as she whispered the translation of Shinobi into English. "You! A ninja? Then how did you do this sorcery you displayed!?" He asked as Walter began to speak but was placed my finger to my lips. I leaned over the table, placed both hands on the wood and said calmly, "It's magic bitch!" Before craning my head up and breathing a short, but wide stream of flames from my mouth quickly enough not to catch anything on fire. Everyone was relatively shocked at this, even Seras despite witnessing it before. Walter cleared his throat and finally got the chance to speak his piece when just as he went to speak the intercom turned on. Said device revealed a rather rude high pitched voice that said, "Er...hello? Is this thing on? Cool. This message is going out to the Conference, along with a very personal and heart-filled shout-out to the queen bitch herself, Miss Hellsing! Alright! Your ass is currently being kicked by the Valentine Brothers! My name is Jan Valentine, and I can't wait to meet each and every one of you. We'll be getting intimate as soon as me and the boys finish lunch, so let me be the first to thank you for providing us with these tasty snacks! By tomorrow, your men will be nothing more than a pile of shit. I highly recommend pissing yourselves, followed by a course of praying to your impotent god. But hey you can be a man and kill yourself. Thank you, London, we love you! Good night!" I turned to Integra only to see she was so pissed off by this guy she bit into her lip and blood was flowing down her chin. I sighed before molding a tiny bit of medical chakra and channeling it into my pointer finger before wiping away the blood and healing the wound at the same time. "You know Sir Integra my mother always used to say that I should ignore bullies." She looked at me blankly before swatting the hand away and wiping the streak of blood left with a handkerchief. "I disagree with her though, the best way to teach an idiot is with pain, like when a child learns an oven is hot. They never forget." I said kindly.
