Soma watched as Adrian disappeared, despite the fact that this was his point in time, the dhampire was sent away along with those from Trevors' time. Even if it sent him only outside the Castle and back to where he slept these centuries. Thus Soma settled back against his Alura Une and let the silence of the Castle settle around him. Not terribly far off he figured the other hunters were saying their good byes.
But he wasn't going to go to see them or try to get them to approach him. With a bite on his neck and his mind the way it was? 'Like I want to waste this nice quiet moment fighting for my life. I get back to my own time and I'll be stuck with a fussy Adrian to deal with and that is more than enough.'
'Course this bite on my neck its going to be a while before my body processes it... Going to be a vampire for a while. Vampire Killer is going to be itching for another row against me...' a thought that left him sighing in resignation. "Alura..."
"Yes, My Lord," she purred as she slipped her slender arms over his fur covered shoulders and down his chest. Pressing her naked, buxom chest against Soma's upper back before linking her hands together near his stomach.
All in all the pinnacle of 'Wife and Son will be furious if they saw this'...
"I'm just closing my eyes, I don't know how long this will actually take. But if I 'do' fall asleep, wake me when its our turn to go back to our time and place. Unless my wife's spirit starts entering the room then wake me immediately." Soma instructed as he got comfortable with this giant bulls eye of a rose as his recliner.
"Of course my lord..."
'Though this has been an incredible learning experience. The Castle isn't really all 'that' bad when not under the influence of Chaos. Its actually very accommodating which I'm sure no one wants to hear me say. But I did destroy the chaos part of the castle... Might need to hide here in my time until I'm done being a vampire so I can live... Wait... do I need to shop? I don't think I even need to shop for the castles' food. Or send out the maids, the castle autocreates it doesn't it? I could remodel it even... Unless that only happens if I die. I'm not partial to constantly being killed just to do some remodeling.'
'Actually would Adrian even let me or would he throw a fit that I went and modernized the Castle at all?' A frown crossed his face as he finally begrudgingly accepted a truth he had been skating around this whole time. 'I have a freaking family that is part of this castle? Arikado is my son under an false identity. Just, I have a son? Dead wives don't surprise me when reincarnation is in play, but I have now legitimately met my son. How am I supposed to deal with this? I obviously put him through several levels of hell for this. Not a very good parent was I?'
…
'Remembering the conception is going to bring a whole new level to the meaning of 'awkward dinner conversations'... isn't it?'
"My Lord?" The Alura murmured, gently squeezing him into a hug and causing him to open his eyes. Just in time to see the castle wash away from his vision, replaced by four walls of modern stonework design. Candles rested about in strategic locations snuffed out with only their smoking trails rising up. The ceiling above was also made of stone, a magical work room if one would that was maintained for sealing if Soma recalled correctly.
His Alura Une brought in her tendrils protectively, as he studied the room about him. When the spell had been cast to help subdue the Chaos of the Castle through Soma, he had stood here. In the center as the focus of the trio. Adrian had set the location for them, though Soma couldn't imagine his son willingly doing servants work. But it was safer than letting Soma find some place of power that the Belmonts might have used. Speaking of the Belmont... no 'Julius'. He was off to the side with the W... 'Yoko' across from him. When Soma had left he had only know the two of them, but now he knew that it was possible that Jonathan and Charlotte were still alive. They would have been old, but still breathing... possibly.
With Adrian serving as the third point in this triangle of power. The one he was facing in fact...
"I could have learned the spell..." Arikado fairly hissed with displeasure. His voice was sluggish, and his eyes barely were open, but despite the black hair.
Soma remembered the insanely long blond haired, nobleman attired son he had just gotten to meet. He stood up and sent the Alura away with a passing thought before approaching his son, his eyes staying focused on the ice blue eyes that were focused on his. Three steps away and he was settling himself back down onto the ground. Even as the Vampire kiss on his neck numbed him sweetly he found himself smiling faintly.
"Oh? My naughty little boy who would forgets his spells, after a week long nap, no less. Was going to cast a spell without aid of others?" Soma reached down and gently swept away the hair that had fallen across Adrian's face when the man collapsed.
"Why can't you believe in me? You are hell bent in doing things your own way despite the fact that I have it covered." Alucard retorted, annoyed at his old weakness and that his father 'knew'. He tried to push himself into a sitting position only to find himself still to weak from the spell. Unwilling to allow his father to view him as weak, now that the mere reincarnation had more revealed of his past.
"Its not a matter of belief, rather reality. Leon's blood is cursed to pursue me, fully restored as a vampire and regardless of how they willfully see me. The compulsion would make them fight me, and that was exactly 'how' many fights I would have to gauntlet my way through?" As he saw Adrian begin to try and form a retort, he shook his head. "Even Julius felt the compulsion, and though we might not fight to the death. It would have been exhausting on either side, not ideal if you were going to have to deal with the traitors as well."
"I thought I dreamed that madness up. I thought it was nothing more than the ravings of my mind from my slumber..." Alucard couldn't think of anything else to say, well anything that didn't make him look like a child.
"I suppose the argument would be to let Charlotte cast that spell on me. That spell is seemingly nice and all, I felt it from that room even. However; the spell requires that the soul be 'human' and mine is decidedly 'not'. Well, its certainly human enough to withdraw a Belmont from wanting to kill me, but really a Vampires' bite? Apples to oranges... actually I haven't had either in a while, I think I want to snack on one once my body is done processing this bite."
"Are you even listening to me?" Alucard demanded, unable to figure out if he was dealing with Soma's inability to take orders. Or his fathers' condescending attitude about what Alucard 'could' and 'couldn't' accomplish on his own. His father sounded almost wistful but also amused and introspective.
"You missed me or rather you miss the memories I have of you from a happier time. You feel betrayed that I sent you away, you're still hurting, yet despite all that. You still decided to give the future a chance that I would incarnate as Soma, and waited for me," Soma recited. With the patience of a parent reciting what their child wanted from a colorful fast food menu. He smiled as he saw the disgruntled frown cross his son's mouth before sighing.
"I'm sorry... I really am but I can't risk this little group, you know that. All of you were exhausted, I could feel the hold on the Chaos weakening. More over if I just stayed the Chaos would have gotten to me. Granted the me of that time was still in the Chaos realm recovering, but with me there it would have served as a magnet pulling the Chaos back into the world. You know what happens next," Soma noted gently before letting his thoughts wander again. "I think you would have enjoyed more time with Leon and the others. But at least you cleaned your room of that lizard and dealt with the priest and vampire, so three out of four wasn't bad. With Jonathan and Charlotte dealing with the fourth one, alls well that ends well really."
"We could have..." Alucard began with a sinking feeling in the base of his spine, only to watch as Soma shook his head, gold eyes sympathetic.
"No, we could not. Even now I have trouble reconciling my memories as your father and the man I am in this age. I know I don't want to push you away, but I have yet to fully figured out how to fill that role again." Soma pointed out before turning his gaze back towards the other two in the room. "You're really too old to need me, but I need you for the ancient magics I have forgotten. At least for now. Though, I guess we just live our lives day by day... until I figure out what to do with the Castle so we can see your mother again."

Finally editing is done!
So let this be a lesson for future generations to 'always be nice to dice when they are in play'. Honestly I think you guys would have fared better if you had been, then you wouldn't have gotten the normal ending.
But again, take this as a bit of inspiration! Or a writing challenge because that's what it was for me. Try to avoid the Deus Ex Machina too. Feel free to use the idea with a set of dice of your own, or continue from this... Just remember to give credit to my work when you do. At least then when the reader thinks you're offer your rocker they'll know you're not the only one!
