What's up guys, 087-B here with the next chapter of Gravity Falls: Sinnoh Adventure! Before I get into things, I would like to address a review I have gotten. Allow me to share it below, entirely unedited and unaltered:
Subject: "ADD BILL CIPHER"
Description: "Please add bill cipher to become the final boss trainer and dipper battles him. Bill has all lvl. 100 pokemon and all are shadow pokemon: Hoopa Unbound, Black Kyurem, Lugia, Rayquaza, Garintina Origin Form, And Finally... MEGA MEWTWO Y! please at least add Bill Cipher to the last few Chapters
P.S. Each Pokemon is from a different Region."
So...where to begin...
First, to be blunt, this is literally one of the stupidest and shittiest ideas I've ever heard. Bill is a demon capable of destroying existence as a whole. If he could do that with the snap of a finger, why would he be a Pokemon trainer?
And then comes his team. A team full of powerful legendaries at level 100 and nothing else is dumb and not creative and very, very cliche. I mean seriously.
I will honestly admit that I never had any plans to put Bill in this story because he just doesn't have a place. And I never will put him in this story. He doesn't fit and his character has no reason to be a part of the plot. And I don't feel like rewriting any part of the plot I have set for this story. Sorry dude, but my response to your review is a resounding 'no'.
Okay, with that resolved and out of the way, let's discuss this chapter. In the previous chapter, Lucas and Zinnia battled, and a trip to the Pokemon Daycare was had! At the daycare, the group encountered a Charmander and an egg it guarded, two beings that had been there for a long time, with mystery surrounding them…
Anyways, Dipper took custody of the egg, wishing to study it, while Lucas took in the Charmander to allow it to stay close to the egg. Also, Mabel got a second Egg, and it hatched on the spot into a Mudkip! Hmm, so many questions should arise from all of this...all of them to be answered soon!
Also, my sincere apologies for giving numerous characters the shaft in this story, specifically Candy, Grenda, and Lazy Susan. I've been meaning to give some more time to Candy and Grenda, and Lazy Susan as well, though I never planned for her to be a main character. Expect to see more of these three in the impending fourth season.
Now, on with the show!

-Chapter 31: Road to Veilstone - Part I-
:::::
"So you're taking off already?" Lucas asked as he and the rest of the gang stood at the northern exit of Solaceon Town, referring to Zinnia as he spoke.
The Northern exit to Solaceon went out into Route 210, which went North before splitting off into two sections; going North of Route 210 would lead to the incredibly foggy second half of the route, and going East of Route 210, South of the foggy half, would lead to the infamously rainy route of Route 215, which lead to Veilstone City, the group's next destination.
"Yeah, sorry to say but I've got my own plans for my journey around Sinnoh." Zinnia rubbed the back of her head. "But he, maybe we'll meet again someday? I mean, maybe sooner than even I think."
"Probably." Lucas nodded with a small smile. Then he bowed to show respect. "Take care, alright?"
"Yeah, you too." Zinnia crossed her arms and waved as she sprinted off and out of the Southern exit to the town. Everyone else waved back before stepping out into Route 210.
"Alright, so we are now on Route 210!" Candy smiled. "So...what now?"
"Keep heading north until we reach the transition between this route and Route 215, I'd say." Grenda replied, looking over a map that she had taken out of her backpack. "Route 215 will take us to Veilstone, so that's the path we gotta take."
"Perfect, then let's head North, dudes!" Soos smiled, and everyone strolled through the tall grass and up a short hill, continuing through the large grassy stretch ahead of them.
Dipper looked over at his sister and smiled. "Liking your new teammate?"
"Well duuuuuh!" Mabel smiled and continued hugging her Mudkip. "He's soooo cuuuute~!"
Dipper rolled his eyes and chuckled. "The daycare lady talked about the trainer who's Pokemon gave birth to that Mudkip's egg, a 'hot-headed and serious' trainer, I think that's what she said."
"Hmm…" Mabel tilted her head in thought before gasping. "You don't think…!"
"What're you-" Dipper's eyes widened in realization. "It...couldn't be, could it?"
Mabel chuckled and shrugged. "You never know, bro! And hey, what do ya think is inside that egg?"
Dipper looked down at the egg that he had wrapped his arms around rather firmly. "...I honestly have no idea, Mabel."
"...well who knows? Maybe it'll hatch soon and we'll all figure out what's inside!" Mabel grinned. "I wonder what Veilstone City will be like, the challenges we'll face...our journey is just gonna get harder, Dipper."
"That it will, Mabel; that it will." Dipper nodded. "The Veilstone Gym uses Fighting-Type Pokemon, if I'm remembering correctly. Fighting-Types are weak to Flying and Psychic...and I think that's it. Oh, and they can't affect Ghost-Type Pokemon, so that could be used to an advantage."
"Does anyone here even have a Ghost-Type?" Mabel asked. "I've got Grotle, Bibarel, Mothim, and Mudkip, you've got Monferno, Staravia, Magikarp, and Combee…"
"Well Wendy's got her Rotom, which is a dual Ghost/Electric-Type." Dipper replied. "Or in this case, Ghost/Ice-Type, apparently."
"Wish I had a Ghost-Type, that'd be fun to use." Mabel pondered. "I heard about Ghost-Type Pokemon living in the Lost Tower outside of Solaceon Town, but...I dunno if I wanna make everyone wait and go back there just to catch one."
"...I kinda wonder what kind of Pokemon we'll catch next." Dipper smiled at Mabel. "I mean, we don't know what we'll encounter on the rest of our journey, so nobody knows what anyone is gonna get."
"Well, the author knows." Mabel smirked.
Dipper sighed. "Mabel, don't break the fourth wall."
Meanwhile, Soos started to chat with Wendy as the group continued down Route 210. "So how many Pokemon do you have now?"
"Three." Wendy replied. "Well, four, if you count the egg I got from that hiker dude back in Hearthome City. How about you, Soos? Gimme the details."
"Four; five counting my egg." Soos answered. "It's kinda weird though, considering four of us have eggs just waiting to hatch."
"I know, right? I mean, we look like a group of breeders." Wendy responded. "But hey, you've got the biggest team out of everyone here, aside from Lucas."
"I wonder what his team is like." Soos said. "Probably full of tons of big awesome strong Pokemon, like the dudes in the anime I watch. Maybe a Pokemon with gunsword hands!"
Wendy chuckled. "I doubt a Pokemon like that exists, but I'm sure he's got a damn strong team, since he is Sinnoh's champion after all."
Soos glanced behind him at the regional champion, who was chatting up a storm with Candy and Grenda. "...I wonder what his team's like."
"I...honestly do, too." Wendy shrugged. "Regardless, I'd rather not see it until we reach the Pokemon League."
"Who knows how long that will take…" Soos muttered.
Soon enough, the group completed crossing the tall grass, and stood in a clear area in front of a moderately sized wooden building, one that looked like a normal home. Lucas smiled and glanced up at the building. "Ah, that brings back lots of memories…"
"It does?" Pacifica blinked. "What kind of memories?"
"Memories from when I was on my journey, when me and my Torterra came here, when he was just a Grotle." He chuckled. "My friend Barry and I actually stopped here for lunch one morning, and that day was spectacular, with what we found."
"You...found something?" Dipper asked.
"Something extraordinary…" Lucas shuffled through his pocket and pulled something out. Dipper went to glance at it, though Lucas quickly curled his fist around it after a momentary stare of nostalgia, before he shoved it back into his pocket. "Of course, you'll learn about such a discovery in due time."
"Due time…" The boy muttered to himself. "...I wonder…"
"If you guys don't mind, I'd like to stop inside before we continue on, catch up and relinquish the memories. That alright?"
"Fine by us." Grenda shrugged with a smile.
"Oh, I heard they make fabulous Moo Moo Milk here." Lazy Susan clasped her hands together with a bright smile. "I'd love to try some!"
"I planned on buying some, I'll make sure we all have some to try!" Lucas chuckled and entered the building, allowing the group a chance to sit and relax.
Dipper sat on a nearby log and glanced over to a somewhat cleared path between some trees, located to the left of the wooden cafe. What had piqued his interest the most, however, was the large number of yellow duck-like Pokemon that were inhabiting it, thus creating a blocking. They all stood still or stumbled about in confusion, though one thing was clear, they did not seem to want to move from that location.
"Hey, Mabel, look at that." He pointed.
"Hm?" Mabel glanced over. "Whoa, what's with all those Psyduck?"
"No idea...I wonder what's beyond that path though."
"The rest of Route 210, I think." Pacifica crossed her arms and looked over. "I've heard it's very foggy, and tons of powerful Pokemon live up there."
"Does it go anywhere?" Mabel asked.
Pacifica shrugged. "Don't know, actually."
"Hold on…" Dipper pulled out his map and unrolled it. "...aha, look. The northern path leads to a place called Celestic Town."
"Ooh, pretty name!" Mabel grinned. "Is there anything there?"
"Well...other than another entrance to Mt. Coronet, and a historic site of Sinnoh's past, there doesn't seem to be anything else." Dipper shrugged. "No gym either."
"Doesn't mean we shouldn't stop there." His sister smiled.
"But it seems really out of the way." Dipper argued. "I mean, it's right there near the middle of the region, and the Pokemon League is all the way over here."
Mabel watched her brother point. "True...and besides, how else would we go to Celestic Town? The Psyduck are blocking the path."
"Lemme look." Pacifica pointed on the map. "Here, there's a path through Mt. Coronet to it, with an entrance at Eterna City."
"Sheesh, Eterna City is the hotspot of this region, it seems." Dipper added. "Given everything that's happened there, and then some."
"Well, still, let's focus on going here," Pacifica pointed. "Veilstone City. That's our objective."
"Right." Dipper and Mabel nodded with determined smiles, before hearing the door to the cafe open.
"Alright, I say we drink this once we arrive at Veilstone." Lucas stepped out of the building, carrying a plastic bag. He smiled. "Shall we continue on?"
Everyone nodded and got up, then went east of the cafe. The grass got wetter the more they went, and mud became evident. Soon enough, rain was heard, then felt, as they stopped before the pouring mess of a route that was Route 215.
"...whoa." Wendy muttered.
"Is...it always raining here?" Candy asked.
"That'll totally destroy my clothes…" Pacifica grimaced.
"Yeah, it's...always raining here." Lucas shrugged. "A weather anomaly not even Hoenn's Weather Center has been able to figure out."
Dipper shivered and rubbed his arms. "I'm already cold…"
"This route's pretty big, so all of us might struggle to cross it in one go…" Lucas crossed his arms. "I say we split apart, taking different paths as two different groups, before we meet at the end, where we'll finally be at Veilstone City."
"Two different groups?" Dipper looked to Mabel. "Again?"
Mabel saluted her brother. "I'm captain of Group A, you're captain of Group B!"
Dipper rolled his eyes and chuckled. "Alright, it's only one route this time."
So the two groups were made, and they were off, with Mabel, Pacifica, Candy, Grenda, and Lazy Susan in Group A, and Dipper, Wendy, Soos, and Lucas in Group B. Everyone was prepared, ready to cross the infamously rainy route and reach Veilstone City.
This was the final stretch.
