A/N: I'm back. I decided that it would be best if I only publish new chapters of this story during school hours in secret for the time being. I know what I said in my Author's Note was grim, but I was going through the shock of me not being allowed on this site when I'm around my parents. I will try my best to publish new chapters of this story from here on out.
Murray was heading to his next mission. He had successfully lowered the drawbridge that would lead into Rajan's ballroom. He now had to destroy Rajan's attack helicopter that was guarding the palace. Murray needed to take out the helicopter so that way the sky could be clear for the heist. Murray saw a chopper in the sky nearby.
"That chopper in the sky is a menace to all future aerial operations while on this job." Bentley said to Murray.
"Aerial operations?" Harley joined in on the conversation.
"Yes. We will be preforming some aerial operations on this job, like using my RC chopper to use as cover when Murray steals the Clockwerk wings." Bentley said to the human teenager.
"Cool." Harley said. He immediately shut off the connection to Murray's binocucom. Murray and Bentley continued their conversation.
"Now, be a team player and take it out with that rusty, pre-war turret." Bentley said to Murray.
"Okay, I had a potato gun once; I bet it works just the same." Murray said.
"No freaking way. You had a potato gun once?" Harley asked Murray.
"Yes. I used to own a potato gun when I was fifteen. I would mainly use it for self defense purposes." Murray said to Harley.
"Holy shit! I have about a dozen potato guns back at my home!" Harley said.
"Really? I would like to see your potato guns sometime." Murray said.
"I will be glad to show you some of my potato guns sometime, Murray." Harley said.
Bentley told his hippo friend how to use the pre-war turret. Once Murray had been told how to use the turret to shoot at the chopper, he got into the turret. He aimed at shot some ammo at the chopper. It was fairly easy to do. All the hippo had to do was keep his eyes on the chopper while he was shooting. Once the chopper was completely destroyed by Murray's turrets, Bentley said to Murray, "Good work, the sky's all clear!"

The inside of Rajan's ballroom was amazing. It looked better than the homecoming parties that took place in my school's gymnasium. The inside of Rajan's ballroom party made the school homecoming dances I used to go to look like it was set up by a kindergartner in elementary school. It was fancy. It was lit. There were tons of people at Rajan's ballroom party. I didn't know that a ballroom party could be this good and elegant. Me and Sly saw an anthropomorphic vixen with azure blue hair wearing a sexy black dress. I suddenly had a vision of the vixen wearing the exact same dress at some other party that was hosted by Dimitri and some pig lady who had blonde hair wearing a blue dress and had a emerald necklace around her neck. The vision lasted for a good few minutes. Then, it returned to Rajan's ballroom.
"Your guys's tuxedo disguises are working perfectly; no one will recognize you guys in that outfit. Now, during the heist, you and Harley'll need to dance with Carmelita and Neyla to keep both them and the crowd distracted. The only problem is she's picky about dance partners, so you guys will need to impress Carmelita first." Bentley said to the both of us.
"I'll dance with Neyla for now and then during the heist, I can dance with Carmelita." I explained to Bentley.
"Ok. That will work." The turtle said to me.
I looked for Neyla. I had only met Neyla once on a rooftop in Paris during our heist for the Clockwerk tail feathers. I only saw Neyla for a couple of seconds. I spotted the female purple furred cat among the several other party goers. She looked nice. I walked to Neyla.
"Hi Neyla. I don't think you remember me, but we had previously met on a rooftop in Paris a couple weeks ago during the Clockwerk tail feather heist." I said to Neyla.
"Oh yeah. I remember now. You told me that your name was Harley Keener." Neyla said to me.
"Yes, my name is Harley." I said. "Your name is Neyla, right?"
"Yes. Why'd you ask?" Neyla asked me.
"Just wondering."
Me and the purple female cat got into our dancing positions and slowly learned how to dance. I'm not the greatest of dancers. In fact, I suck at dancing. Mostly. I tried to ask a girl form my school to my middle school dance one time. Her name was Lindy Sims. I've had a crush on her since the second grade. I was nervous to ask Lindy out, as I had never asked a girl out to a dance before in my life. I eventually mustered up the courage to ask Lindy out to a school dance. (It's not prom, as I was only around 13-14 years old when that event happened and middle school proms don't exist). She said yes. I didn't expect to say yes. I barely even knew her.
Me and Lindy soon started talking and we got to know each other. We felt confident enough to dance with each other at the school dance. Me and Lindy attended the school dance. We danced together and had a good time.
I was dancing elegantly with Neyla. It felt good. I saw Sly dancing with the vixen woman. After me and Neyla were done dancing, we met with Sly on the ballroom floor.
"Thank you, that was delightful." Neyla said to me.
"You're very welcome, Neyla." I said.
"Neyla, your friend here is quite an accomplished dancer." the vixen woman said.
"I tried to make him look good." Neyla said to the vixen woman.
"Please, Neyla, his skills far surpass you." the vixen said.
"Perhaps later you and I might share a dance? Miss?..." I said.
"Miss Fox... Carmelita Fox... and I accept." Carmelita said.
"My name is Dean. Dean Koontz." I said, using one of my favorite authors as a pseudonym for now.
