Bentley .
Alright, boys, we're ready for the next phase. My plan to get at the Clockwerk wings requires the use of the electric winch above the ballroom. To get control over the device, I'll need to hack the computers in Rajan's boardroom. Plus, we'll need an extra-strong saw blade to cut the wings off the statue. To make a saw blade that durable, I'll need Sly to steal the gems off the headdresses on Rajan's prize elephants. And finally, I'll take to the field with my remote control helicopter and nullify the palace's surface-to-air defenses. That should clear things up for the heist.
Regular P.O.V.
Sly Cooper went into his next mission, which was to crawl into the boardroom so that way his friend Bentley could hack into the computers that controlled the winch that was located above Rajan's ballroom. Sly crawled through the drainage pipe and immediately pulled out his binocucom.
"Murray's rotund features prevent him from fitting through the drain pipe, so we'll need you to unlock the vault room from the inside. I've heard through a reliable source that the guards keep the vault combination written beneath one of their break tables." Bentley said to Sly.
"So, you want me to crawl under each table till I find the code?" Sly asked.
"That's the idea." Bentley said.
Sly began to crawl underneath each and every table that was nearby. He couldn't find the secret password underneath any of the tables. Sly decided to check one last table to see if the password was there. It was underneath the last table. Once Sly crawled underneath the last table, he found the code, which was "46583271." After he input the code, the lasers shut off, allowing the raccoon to sneak his way through the laser-filled vault room. He pulled the security lockdown switch that sat next to a vault. This unlatched a door upstairs, letting in both Bentley, Harley and Murray. Sly jumped up to the top to join them. Bentley reminded them that he needed to hack both of the security terminals in order to get control of the electronic winch above the ballroom, and that he needed Sly and Murray to protect him from the guards that were sure to come.
Bentley began hacking through the level six barrier and was immediately onset by guards. Sly, Harley and Murray defended him as he switched back and forth between the two terminals, eventually hacking through all six barriers and gaining control of the winch. Bentley told Murray that they needed to hook up the direct feed and leave while the coast was clear.
Harley P.O.V.
My next job was to free the elephants from the cages. We needed to get some sapphire rubies, which were located on the saddles of the elephants. Luckily, Sly made me a cane to whack the rubies off of the elephant's saddles. I headed over to the rendezvous point. I saw a herd of elephants in cages. I felt bad for the elephants. Elephants are one of my favorite animals. I used to look at them all the time at the zoo in my neighborhood. I think that they're majestic creatures. The movie Water for Elephants is one of my favorite movies of all time, second only to Cloverfield and Searching (2018).
"Harley, we need to find a way to get Rajan's prize elephants out of their pen." Bentley said to me.
"I have an idea. Feed the elephants some peanuts. I see them do it in the circus." I suggested to Bentley.
"That would be a good idea. However, we need a different approach at scaring off the elephants." Bentley said to me.
I noticed a group of rats inside of a hole beneath the steps. For the record, I'm afraid of rats. They're small, disgusting and they're a nuisance. They tend to infest old, abandoned houses. I had no choice but to crawl underneath the hole beneath the steps and face the rats. The cage doors were too freaking heavy for me to lift. I crawled through the hole with the rats in it. The rats scurried around the place. They went inside of the elephant's cages.
"Those rats you just scared went up and freaked out the prize elephants. They're now outside rampaging around the palace." Bentley said.
"Is that good or bad?" I asked Bentley.
"It's good or bad, depending on your point of view." Bentley said to me.
"It's bad, I guess. Now what do I do now that the elephants are roaming free?" I asked Bentley.
"A job well done, Harley. Now comes the hard part. I need you to snatch the headdress jewels worn by both elephants. The jewels are firmly embedded, so keep whacking at them with your cane to knock one loose." Bentley said to me.
"Doesn't sound that tough of a challenge." I said to Bentley.
"I'll need to make use of the rooftops to get to one of the elephant's backs... but it shouldn't be a problem." I said.
I spotted an elephant nearby. I jumped off the roof and onto the elephant's saddle with pinpoint accuracy. I tried whacking my cane at those rubies that were embedded in the elephant's saddles. It wasn't easy. The elephant tried swatting me off of him using his trunk. I jumped over the trunk. I eventually was able to pry the rubies off of the elephant's saddle. I jumped off the saddle and landed on the face of a building. I used my parkour skills to reach the rooftop safely. I then looked around for another elephant to rob some jewels off of. I spotted the other elephant. I made sure the elephant was walking below the rooftop where I was. I took a few steps back and then I sprinted and jumped off the roof onto the elephant's saddle. The landing was smooth.
I pried the rubies off the elephant's saddle using my cane. I decided to jump off the elephant's saddle. I jumped without looking t where I was though. I landed on a patch of ground that was to the left of the elephant. I landed on my feet. I felt something snap on my ankle. I must have twisted it upon landing on the ground. It was pretty far though. I didn't know how far I ended up jumping though. My ankle wasn't too badly injured. It did feel numb though. It also had that burning feeling, the kind of burning feeling one would get if part of your body was stiff. I checked to see if I had all six rubies on me. I had all six rubies on me. Then I proceeded to limp my way back to the Cooper Gang hideout, eager to get the Clockwerk wings that I knew next to nothing about.
