Sly Cooper's first job in the Indian jungle was to scope out Rajan's spice temple. Bentley wants Sly to sneak inside Rajan's spice temple to take a few recon photos to create a plan for the heist. Sly must sneak in through a hidden passage beneath the waterfall.
"Sneak into the temple and take some recon photos so I can assess the situation. Just be careful, if you get hurt the nearest hospital is 106 miles from here. According to my map of the area, there should be a hidden passage into the temple behind that waterfall." Bentley said to Sly over the binocucom.
"Are you freaking kidding me? Why in the h is the nearest hospital 106 miles away from here?" Harley asked Bentley.
"I don't know. I didn't pick out this location." Bentley said to the human boy.
"Nice work, Bentley, I'll take a hidden passage over the front door any day." Sly said. The raccoon shut off his binocucom and headed for the secret passage that led inside the spice grinding facility. Upon entering, Sly saw the spectacle of the whole grinding facility. It was a device that had two spinning pillars that rotated constantly. Sly would have no problem climbing to the top of the spice grinding facility, since all he would have to do was use his Ninja Spire Jump move to land on the drill parts of the machine. The Ninja Spire Jump is a move that is used by various Coopers in the past. It was a fairly simple move to accomplish with the proper training. Sly used his Ninja Spire Jump to reach the top of the spice grinder machine. Once Sly reached the top, his friend Bentley said to him, "Here we go. Time for a few recon photos."
The raccoon then started to take recon photos. The first photo was of Rajan, the spice lord tiger himself. The tiger was carrying a stick with what looked like a metallic beating heart on top of it. "Check it out. Rajan's carrying half of the Clockwerk heart on that stick." Bentley said to the raccoon. Sly then took a second recon photo; this time of the crane controls that kept the other half of the Clockwerk heart suspended. "Hmm, that crane is keeping half of the heart suspended." Bentley said. Sly then took a photo of the Clockwerk heart itself. "Looks like half of the heart is being used to super-irrigate the spice plants." Bentley said. Sly took a picture of the entrance of Rajan's spice temple.
"There's the entrance to this level, only I can't figure out how to get in here from the temple's exterior." Bentley said.
Once Sly took all the photos he needed, Bentley said, "Hmm, bring those photos back to the safe house... we'll really need to think about this one." Sly headed back to the safehouse.

The Clockwerk heart is under some steep security. Heck, Rajan is carrying half of it at all times. To get at the goods I'll need to gather some more information. Sly will plant a bug in Rajan's office while I lift the spice operation blueprints off the spice lord while he makes his rounds. Unfortunately, while we're collecting intelligence on him he'll be collecting data on us with an elephant-driven satellite array. Take it out, or he'll be able to intercept all of our communications.

When Bentley told me what me first job was to entail, I thought he was high on LSD. He wanted me, a fifteen and a half year old human kid from another world to bug a spice lord's office with an actual bug! That is beyond insane. That'll be like saying if Bentley wanted me to interrogate somebody who was known for being extremely hostile. It's asinine!
"Harley, the insect in that pool is a rare Indian water bug. If you can carry it into Rajan's office, its wings will transmit local soundwaves at a frequency I can monitor." Bentley said to me.
"You're seriously telling me to bug Rajan's office with an actual bug?! Are you high on drugs?!" I said to Bentley.
"I don't take drugs, Harley. This bug ain't like no ordinary insect. This rare bug can transmit soundwaves that are normally naked to the human ears. The Indian water bug can only survive in stagnant pools of water. If kept out of water too long it'll become unhappy and likely draw the attention of local guards." Bentley said to me.
"What if I get bit by the water bug?" I asked Bentley.
"I'm pretty sure you won't get bit by the bug, Harley." Bentley assured me.
"How do you know that?" I asked Bentley.
Bentley failed to come up with an answer. I looked at the bug. It was relatively small, about the size of a ladybug. I picked up the bug carefully. It started to act calm at first. Then it started spazzing out. The water bug bit me on my left hand. I immediately started to feel dizzy and light headed. I felt like I weighed less than nothing. I was disoriented. I eventually put the bug in the pools of water that led to Rajan's office. Don't ask me how I accomplished that. Everything was a blur. There was ringing in my ears that was super loud. I eventually passed out.
