Heroes of the Arks
ESKK: Well, here we go almost at the end of Season 1. I hope you all enjoy reading it.
(Start Ocean)
When the parties learned of the oncoming Wave everyone got to work and had to split up. Taiyo and Filo had to make sure the Shahgra was combat ready, and Taiyo had already proven himself as not just a blacksmith but also a mechanic it would seem. According to him the ship was unique because it can be summoned to its Hero at any given moment. It also allowed for Filo to use other weapons as the newly discovered ancient Airship was similar to the Knight's Arks minus, he need to merge with it.
Shiro of course had went to Melromarc with Raphtalia via the teleportation skill to inform the Queen of what was going on. During this Tsubaki had gone with her party to help with evacuations while Jun took the Dark Heroes down to the Dragon Hourglass. None of them were happy about it but according to Miyuki even if they were 'Dark Heroes,' they were still required as Heroes to fight the Waves. Shiro theorized that while the Cardinal Heroes were meant to save the world against the waves the Dark Heroes were meant to conquer it against the Waves.
But with so few Dark Heroes recorded it was hard to tell if that truly was the case. Regardless after Shiro had informed the Queen of what was going on she immediately deployed her army for the battle. It was clear that the battle would take place at sea and thus the Heroes and their party had all boarded the Shahgra and thus deployed into battle.
Thanks to some spell work from Tsubaki she had developed a way to contact the troops on the ground for aid. On the flip side the Dark Heroes had taken their own ship into battle and thus were the only Yshrennian ship out at sea. The reason for this was simple, Madoras declined sending his forces out stating that the Queen's forces should more than suffice with Melromarc being closer. Mirellia assumed Madoras may be up to something and thus had taken a few counter measures in the event Madoras had plans to attack Melromarc while their forces were fighting the Wave.
The Four Heroes were currently speaking with Mirellia via Tsubaki's magic holograms which Taiyo swore were straight out of Star Wars. Of, course this also meant they had to let the Dark Heroes in on the talk but according to Miyuki they'll follow the Cardinal Heroes lead for now. Of, course they now had one problem with the Queen's forces right now.
"Glad to see you all made it in time." Jun said as she looked to Mirellia via the magic hologram.
"Yes, it was fortunate that we managed to get here." Mirellia agreed as she looked to the group.
"Yeah, just glad you managed to put an army together on such short notice." Taiyo said with a grin trying to ignore the glaring problem that they were currently dealing with right now.
"Oh, it really wasn't a big deal, preparing for the wave is the Royal Families responsibility." Melty said via the same hologram.
"By the way what are you doing here Melty?" Shiro asked as he looked to the younger Princess.
Of, course Melty did not take kindly to that and glared at Shiro. "What's that supposed to mean?!" She snapped causing Shiro to jump a bit. "I'm here because... I'm part of your party." Melty said as Shiro
"I'm happy you here." Filo said as she looked to Melty from the driver's seat.
"Same." Ryuko added as she stood next to Filo while looking to Melty's hologram image.
"Well good news the evacuation has been completed, which may not be worth much seeing as we know for a fact the battle will take place out at sea." Tsubaki said as she looked to the meeting.
"Great that's just fine... um one question." Taiyo said as he raised his hand. "WHY IS SHE HERE!?" Taiyo yelled as he pointed and accusing finger at Malty who was off to the corner of the ship.
"Regrettably I could not find a sitter to keep an eye on her on short notice at least not anyone willing to do so." Mirellia said as Malty glared at the Heroes.
"Well as long as she keeps her mouth shut and out of the way, we'll make it through with or without the bitch, no offense." Jun said as Mirellia heard this.
"None taken." Mirellia said as she looked to Jun knowing the Sword Heroin and her eldest were still at odds with each other.
"Stop calling me a!" Malty began only for Taiyo to cut her off.
"Hey Bitch shut up!" Taiyo snapped at her causing the Slave Mark to react and thus Malty shut her mouth. With a sigh Taiyo looked over to Motoyasu knowing it was time to make it or break it. "So Motoyasu can we count on you, man?" Taiyo asked as Motoyasu heard this.
"Y-Yeah." Motoyasu said with a small nodded while stuttering. But this was Motoyasu's first wave without the Spear and needless to say he was nervous.
"Ren... keep up once we're down there I want you to fight like hell." Jun said and thus Ren nodded to Jun.
"Alright." Ren nodded though he would rather this fight not be out at sea.
"Itsuki." Tsubaki began and thus Itsuki turned away from her. With a small sigh Tsubaki figured insults may not be the way to go this time. "Be careful out there, don't try and be a hero if you can help it, and be willing to accept help when you need it." Tsubaki said which got Itsuki's attention on her. "Most of all... I want you to go down there and prove that you don't need the Cardinal Bow to be a hero." Tsubaki said as she wanted to give Itsuki a chance to redeem himself.
Itsuki was of course surprised by this and for a moment he saw someone else in Tsubaki's place. "R-right." Itsuki stuttered and thus they got ready to move out.
Shiro then had a few things to say and thus looked to Tsubaki. "Well, it's just about time." Shiro said as they saw the timer finishing up the count down. "Tsubaki, can you patch me through to all the ships?" Shiro asked and thus Tsubaki nodded.
"On it." Tsubaki said and thus with a few silent chants the spells went to every ship in the fleet.

Shiro then looked around and sighed a bit knowing what was coming next. Might as well inspire the troops in this regard and thus he began to speak. "To everyone who came out here to fight the Wave I have something to say to you all." Shiro began as he hoped he got everyone's attention. "In a few moments these waters will become a battlefield as we go to challenge the Wave of Catastrophe." Shiro said as he looked to the image.
(With the Fleet)
Shiro's words were heard all over as on one of the ships L'arc and Therese were there as they heard Shiro talking. "I know a lot of you are scared that what you all brought to the table may not be enough." Shiro said as on the Yshrennian ship the Dark Heroes heard Shiro's words. "But this goes beyond the borders of kingdoms of the boundaries of races the waves threaten the entire world, it may not be now, but I want to believe that we can all put aside our differences for the greater good." Shiro said as even Mirellia could not have but such a speech together like this.
(Back with the Heroes)
"And I promise you all that we'll go home to our families and friends with our heads held high." Shiro said as his voice reached to every soldier in this fight. "Against the Waves boarders and races don't matter and I know that you're loved ones will feel the pride knowing that you stood shoulder to shoulder against what you were taught were your enemies and see them become your friends, brothers, sisters, and allies." Shiro said as he saw the timer beginning to reach the final count.
"Now let's go and meet our fates and see this Wave is unable to take anything we hold dear from us!" Shiro announced and in turn he could hear soldiers via the communication link roaring ready to charge into battle. "Prepare for battle, we teleport now!" Shiro called out and thus the timing was perfect. Thus, the bell rung as the Wave had begun as the entire fleet was teleported in a gold light.
(The Wave)
The Fleet arrived at the wave and as they saw the dimensional portal releasing monsters into this world it was time to begin the battle. Sailors dropped Caste bombs into the water which upon explosion monsters began to float to the surface, not dead but clearly drunk. Not long after arrows rained down on the monsters killing them once they were brough to the surface. At first it seemed like the battle was in their favor at least until something decided to make itself known.
(On the Shahgra)
"Well, we're off to a good start." Taiyo said with a smirk as he crossed his arms when Tsubaki noticed something as did Itsuki.
"Um Tsubaki." Itsuki said as his unique ability to see further to hit any target saw the foe coming on them.
"Yeah, I see it." Tsubaki said as they all saw the monster coming from the water.
(Battle)
From the water a massive monster began to surge towards the fleet. Seeing this Shiba acted and thus activated one of his skills. "Meteor Shower Vulcan!" Shiba invoked and thus fire a burst of bolts at the monster.
But before it could be hit the monster dove underwater and swam under the attacks. Once this happened everyone saw just how big it really was as it then tore through one of the ships. "Damn they make it big where it comes from!" Miyuki gasped as the Dark Glaive Heroin saw the monster's size. "We need to get it out of the water somehow!" Miyuki called out as they needed a plan.
(Shahgra)
"Guys we need to get in there!" Shiro called out to his friends and their parties.
"Right!" They all called out and thus they got moving. Malty tried to follow only for Taiyo to come back and put a hand against her face.
"No, you stay here and don't move from that spot." Taiyo ordered and thus Malty snarled a stayed where she was left.
From there Filo stayed on the ship to drive while the trio of Filolials, Aile, Rishia, and Itsuki went with Tsubaki, Motoyasu, Ryuko, and Rino went with Taiyo, and Demonicon, Kuro, Ren, and Pete went with Jun.
(Battle)
"So how do we get down there?" Itsuki asked as he looked down at what he suspected was about 50-foot drop.
"We jump." Taiyo said and thus they all began to move.
"Wait what!" Ren asked and thus the four heroes had their Ark's out at the ready.
One by one they jumped as Raphtalia followed Shiro for this. As the four Heroes felt the wind blowing against them as they fell, they each had their Arks ready to use. "VERTO!" They all called out and thus the four Cardinal Knights proceeded to take the stage. The White Knight continued to fall as during his fall he reached out and grabbed onto Raphtalia as he was aiming to land on the monster.
Meanwhile the Black Knight, the Dragon Knight, and the Moon Maiden flew upward and went to pick up their party members. Once they were on their respective leader's they all began to head down to join the battle. In turn each Knight landed on a ship that they would in turn lead while dropping their party off.
(Tsubaki the Moon Maiden)
Sending forth a barrage of arrows many monsters met their end by the Moon Maiden's hand. "Aile you and Rishia are in charge of the party, Yuki follow their instructions!" Tsubaki ordered after dropping off her party. "Itsuki don't let me down." Tsubaki urged and thus the Moon Maiden flew back into battle.
"Right, everyone we need more Caste bombs now!" Aile called out as the soldiers nodded. "Archers magic users aim for the monsters that come up!" Aile ordered and they got to work.
"Need hand?" Came the voice of Shiba as suddenly the Dark Crossbow Hero came down and began to fire down on the monsters. Meanwhile his pet Soul Eater Koro flew about taking out any and every monster it came across.
"I thought you hated me." Itsuki said as he and Shiba stood side by side firing at the monsters that came up.
"I still hate you but after this is done, do me a favor and drop dead!" Shiba called out as he fired off bolt after bolt on the monsters.
"Yeah, screw you too!" Itsuki responded as the two former friends joined forces.
(Jun the Black Knight)
Jun dropped off her party at the ship she was in command of as Kuro flew in not long after before transforming into his human form. Once Jun dropped of her party Demonicon was the first take command. "What's our status soldier!" Demonicon called out as he needed an update.
As the Soldier told Demonicon what was happening Jun then saw a larger monster coming at them. As she was about to slash at it Lezarg jumped in and with his massive Claymore taking a more seaworthy form cleaved the monster in two. Once he did so he made a wide sweep and blew away a few of the smaller ones that came at him. Seeing that things were covered here Jun flew off to join the forward assault.
(Taiyo the Dragon Knight)
Taiyo arrived at the battlefield as he used his trident to attack the monsters that came close to him and the ship he was in charge of. Once he got close enough Taiyo dropped off the girls and Motoyasu as he began to glide next to the ship. More monsters showed up as Taiyo roared out and took on the beasts with his Dragon Knight. But before any more could come forth webbing shot forth and grabbed the monster by the head and pulled. This gave Taiyo an opening to attack as he skewered the monster with his Trident and took it down.
Looking to who helped him Taiyo saw Miyuki and her two-party members arrive to provide aid. "Go we got things here dragon boy!" Miyuki called out as Alexandria then killed another monster with ease.
"Alright!" Taiyo called out and then flew to join the frontal battle.
"Hey bro." Miyuki began as she got Motoyasu's attention. In turn Motoyasu saw Miyuki come at him and before he could attack, she took out a monster for him. "Remember back in high school when you ticked off those delinquents?" Miyuki asked as she and her brother stood back-to-back.
"Yeah..." Motoyasu said before he looked around and saw they were surrounded as Ryuko, and Rino joined in. "Oh..." Motoyasu said he realized what this was. "Just like old times." Motoyasu said and thus the monsters attacked. In response the Vassal Heroin, the Dark Heroin, the Dragon Empress, and the false Hero all began to fight the monsters that came at them.
(Shiro the White Knight)
As the White Knight flew down the monster rose up with its horn pointed at the Shield Hero. The White Knight slashed at the horn causing he attacks to collide with a shockwave. The White Knight was shot back while the force of the collision had forced the monster back as well.
Shiro landed on the Queen's boat as he slid on the ground destroying some of the wood floor in the process. "Sorry." Shiro apologized as he saw the damage. He then moved his shield arm to reveal Raphtalia as she stepped down and got ready to fight.
*End OST
"It's fine Shield Hero but listen we're going to need you to keep the biggest monster in check!" The queen said to the white knight as he looks at her and said, "I'll try, but that thing underwater, and my knights isn't meant for underwater battles."
"That's why it must be you, you don't have to battle it, just draw it out to the surface while your fellow heroes take it out," Mirellia said to him as Shiro was getting the idea as he said, "Got it. You guys heard that as well, right?"
"Yeah, we did," Taiyo said through the communicate magic spell that was still active with Tsubaki said, "Understood."
"Just tell us when you do," Jun said as she prepared herself to strike at the monster as Shiro said, "Alright, time for a swim!"
Soon enough the white knight got off the Queen's ship and swim underwater, as he soon saw the monster swimming away as he said while he went after it, "Oh no you don't!"
The white knight swim as fast as it could, after the monster for Shiro to use a familiar attraction spell for monster as he cast, "Hate Reaction!"
A red wave came forth from the white knight as its spread out and made contact with the big swordfish monster as it turned around to face the white knight as Shiro said, "Alright come at me."
As the monster swim closer and closer, the white knight use all of its strength to swing his sword upwards at the monster as it came in contact with the sword itself, like before a shockwave happen which case the white knight to be push back in the water but also causing the monster to be sent up out of the water as Shiro called out, "Moby Dick is out of the water! Take it out!"
Soon enough the three flying knights came in for an attack as they prepared their attacks as they called out, with the moon maiden notch up an arrow as tis glow brightly, "Luna Meteor Shot!"
"Dragon Meteor thrust!" Taiyo called out with his spear glowing red hot, as Jun soon came in with her weapons glowing darkly as she called, "Raven Meteor Slash!"
The three attack hits the monsters with each knight dealing damage to it as blood shot out from its wounds causing it to cry out in pain as Taiyo called out, "We got it!"
Suddenly the orb gem thing on the monster's head started to glow brightly before it shot out a beam which hit the side of one ship, causing it to explode as Tsubaki called out, "But it's still not out yet!"
"We need to hit it again, and with more power," Jun said as the monster swim out of the area it was in, Raphtalia as is at a harpoon gun on the ship she was on as she took aim and fire at it, with the spear that shot out flow towards the monster and pierced it dealing more damage up top of the damage it already took.
"Nice work Raphtalia," Shiro said as he surfaced up a bit ago to see the damage as he soon thought to himself, 'Raphtalia level up quite a bit to deal that much damage, buts it's not enough just yet, and I doubt with all of their attack may still not be enough. We need more power to hit it with."
Barrels were being drop into the waters and exploding, releasing what was inside of them, being the red berry alcohol that was concentrated and effected a lot of the smaller monster as some came up to the surface knock out by the powerful wine while the archers on the boats were taking care of them as one commander said, "Don't worry about the big one the heroes will have to take care of it, focus on the little guys."
More arrows rain down into the waters killing some monsters, then suddenly most of the barrels were destroy by the bigger monster as it shot its beam and blast away them, causing some ship the rock heavy to the sudden blasts.
With a Sailor getting his baring, to his shock to see jump onboard the ship, scaring him as he screamed out like a scared little girl.
The monsters themselves were merman creatures, almost something like it came from the movie "creature from the black lagoon" but uglier and much more realistic, as they leap up onto the boat with the commander ordered," Hurry up and kill these things!"
"No way, there's too many of them!" the sailor from before said as he and a few others ran for their lives as the creatures were about to attack them, from the upper part of the ship as Melty started to cast a spell as she said, "AS source of thou power I order the', decipher the law of nature and thrash my target with a flood of water: Zwei Aqua shot!"
A powerful blast of water came forth from Melty as she hit the merman creatures and destroy them surprisingly while also getting the crew a bit wet from that as well, as soon enough Melty came down to check on the crew as she said, "You're okay, right?"
"Yeah, we're fine," the sailor said and such as they recover from that sudden attack but didn't notice one merman coming up from behind Mel as it leap out and attack her, as she heard it while screaming out.
The scream caught the others attention, including the dark heroes as they all turn to the ship Melty is on and to their shock to see one of the monsters has her as they also heard her mother call out, "No Melty!"
"Melty!" Filo called out as she tried to get over to her but was blocked by a swarm of monsters. Ryuko saw this and quickly rushed over as much as her dragon form can take her with someone else following behind. Meanwhile the merman trying to drag Melty underwater with it, another sailor was holding onto her the best he could as he said, "I got you."
He hanged onto the princess the best he could, but the monster was too strong and pull Melty out of the sailor's grip as they soon fell together with the Queen calling out, "Melty!"
As Mel falls to her doom, screaming out in horror as there was nothing she or the others can do about it as below a swarm of mermen leap up at her like they were prepared to feast upon her, until suddenly three shadow came forth as the first shadow slash the merman that held Melty as it revealed to be L'arc, the 2nd swing a huge claymore down taking a large amount of those Mermen out and reviled to be Lezarg killing all of those monsters, with the last shadow to be Ryuko as she suddenly came up the side of the ship, catching Melty at the last moment while throwing her up in the air with the princesses soon fell onto Ryuko back as the dragon girl landed on the ship at the same time as Ryuko said, "Are you alright Melty?"
"Ryuko? Yes, thank you," Melty said as the princess soon turn to her other two heroes that saved her seeing L'arc and Lezarg as she, "And thank you, both of you, you've have saved me."
Lezarg didn't say a word as he just nodded to her as with L'arc give a smile to the princess and said, "Just sit tight for me, will you?"
Soon enough more Merman's came forth as they try to get the jump on them as Lezarg just swing his weapon and destroy some of them without must effort. Lezarg's eyes flashed red as the ominous aura began to build up in him as he shouldered the weapon. He then roared at the Merman who remained causing them to flinch back and making their attack power dwindle, an intimidation ability was clearly in use. L'arc seeing this came in to finish the job using the opening Lezarg had given him.
"Hi Bound Wheel swing!" L'arc invoked and thus with a swing of his scythe a whirlwind blew at the monsters coming down on them.
"Amazing." Melty said before a larger monster came out and tried to attack. Lezarg roared out and stabbed the monster before slicing it in two. Once that was done, he proceeded to swing his Claymore killing off every foe that came upon him. Lezarg then focused on the big monster knowing full well they had to take it down soon to end this wave.
Lezarg then gestured for Melty to move to safety which Melty understood the silent warrior. "Right." Melty said as she then took her leave of the group.
"L'arc!" Shiro called out as the White Knight towered over the battle. "We need to get in there take out the big one, ok!" Shiro called out as he looked to the scythe user. "Even if you fall into the water, we have your back." Shiro called out as he looked to L'arc who heard Shiro inside the White Knight.
L'arc smiled to this as he almost seemed sad somehow. "Well, I guess it does need to go down first." L'arc said as he knew priorities had to be made. "Alright but get it's big ass out where we can hit it!" L'arc called out and thus Shiro nodded.
"You guys heard him let's move!" Shiro called out and thus they all heard this.
"RIGHT!" Everyone called out and in turn the White Knight charged back into the water.
"SEA SHIELD!" Shiro called out and thus used the shield to better move in water. As Shiro moved about he made sure to guide the monster so they can drag it out into the open. Shiro then turned around in the water and held his shield at the ready and in turn the monster came at him. With nothing to hold Shiro down the monster pushed the White Knight upward and thus was sent out of the water while the massive foe flew upward leaving itself wide open.
"Sky Burn Wheel Swing!" L'arc invoked and once more sent a whirlwind at the monster making gashes all over its body.
On the boat Malty was heard screaming as the airship zoomed by and dropped her out of an escape hatch as she rolled on the ground and landed near her mother. Mirellia gave her eldest a board look and then focused back on the battle acting like her eldest wasn't even there. Once that was done the airship made a U-turn and proceeded to fire all its armaments upon the massive Monster. The attacks all spiraled at the monster with the rockets shaped like bird heads as they hit the massive foe.
Tsubaki had her bow out as she got ready for her part. "Let's go!" Tsubaki called out as Aile, and Rishia all combo their magic with Tsubaki. "Combo Skill: Thunderbolt Heaven Barrage!" Tsubaki roared out as she fired a single magic arrow upward only to have it rain down as a hailstorm of thunderbolt arrows. "Yuki, Sakura, Kou!" Tsubaki called out and thus the three Filolial's got moving.
"Here we go!" Yuki called out as the three were in Filolial form. "TRIPLE!" Yuki began as she got ready.
"SPIRAL!" Sakura continued as she got ready for a kick.
"STRIKE!" Kou finished and thus the three Filolials bounced between ships hitting the monster with each pass.
Next up came Jun and her party as the Black Knight looked ready to draw her sword while Pete had his hand open with magic in it as Demonicon provided aid. "Combo Skill: Thunder Bird Phantom Strike!" Jun invoked and thus made a slash that seemed to send a wave of magic that suddenly vanished and with it so did the party. From there the monster was then covered in slashes and bruising showing Jun may have invented a new skill when she and her party reappeared on the same ship with their weapons now dripping blood. "KURO!" Jun went on as soon another phantom shadow appeared with Kuro.
"PHANTOM DASH PHOENIX!" Kuro invoked as he then dashed around the monster as a fire ball hitting it with each pass before he reappeared next to Jun in his phoenix form now big enough for one to ride into battle.
"LET'S GO JACKASS!" Taiyo roared as he charged up his attack. "DRACO HURRICANE METEOR EXCEED!" Taiyo roared out and in turn sent a powerful attack at the monster hitting it dead on causing it even more pain. The attack was a tornado of thunder and wind that went straight for the monster adding even more damage to its body forcing it to the edge of its ability.
Back with L'arc and Therese the two took the chance to finish it and had their next combo ready. "Bejeweled Thunderstorm!" Therese invoked and sent the spell to L'arc's scythe.
L'arc was in turn ready to attack as he had his weapon ready. "Combo Skill: Thunderbolt Wheel Swing!" L'arc invoked and thus sent an attack similar to Taiyo's out. The mix of the attacks the monster and in a flash of bright light an explosion from its main core went off causing it to fall back into the water. With a roar Shiro came in with Talion raised and thus roared out before bringing the weapon down on the monster causing its core jewel to shatter from the attack as its body was now covered in fatal injuries.
(Mirellia)
"Such remarkable power... is this the strength of the combined might of a Cardinal Hero and a Knight?" Mirellia asked shocked over what she just saw.
(Later)
The White Knight landed on the monster with a shake but still ok. As it stood there it kneeled down and thus Shiro reverted to his base form. "Thanks'... L'arc." Shiro said as he looked to L'arc.
"Eh I didn't do much, that Knight of yours is pretty strong though." L'arc said as he looked away from Shiro.
"No, it was all of us working together that won the day." Shiro said he looked to his new friend.
"DUDE!" Taiyo was heard as soon the three Knights flew in as well before reverting to Taiyo, Tsubaki, and Jun. "That was so fricking sick man!" Taiyo cheered happy over their victory.
"It was impressive, but it feels like Shiro did all the work." Tsubaki admitted scratching her cheek a bit.
"Hey guys it was all of us don't worry." Shiro said trying to be a bit humble here.
"The Wave Boss was beaten." Jun began as she saw the Wave was still active. "But why is the wave still on?" She asked and thus she glared over to L'arc. "Mind explaining that to us, L'arc or do we need to wait on Glass to arrive?" Jun asked as she glared at L'arc.
"Wait what?" Taiyo asked confused by all of this.
Just then L'arc sighed as he knew Jun was not going to let this go. "So... even after you saw through us, and we told you what we knew... you won't give us a pass." L'arc said as he then looked over to Jun.
"Jun what is going on?" Shiro asked and thus Jun spoke.
"Them being here... they knew the Wave would hit here... after all they're with Glass." Jun said much to everyone's shock.
"L'arc?" Tsubaki asked with concern and in turn Shiro went wide eyed when L'arc moved.
"Get back!" Shiro called out and thus had his shield up.
In turn L'arc made his next attack known as the group hid behind Shiro's shield to defend themselves. Once the attack passed them over it was clear that Jun was spot on with her accusation against L'arc. "The fuck is your problem?!" Taiyo called out while glaring at L'arc.
"It's nothing personal but for the sake of our world you four have to die." L'arc said as he looked to the Four Cardinal Heroes.
"WHAT?!" Tsubaki asked shocked to hear this.
"For what it's worth we have nothing against you four you all seem like good people... well 3 of you do." L'arc said as Jun didn't even bother trying to defend herself on that.
"That is the truth. Please believe us," Therese began to say as she sounded very saddened by this as she explained it while she said, "It pains us to do this after you were so nice to us."
"Why are you doing this then? Without heroes here, this world will be powerless to stop the waves," Shiro question them as he's trying to figure out what is happening, with L'arc said to him, "And that's our goal."
"What?" Shiro said as he, Taiyo, and Tsubaki were confused by this with Jun didn't look surprise at all, heck she was more annoyed by this as Therese said to L'arc, "L'arc they can't understand without a proper explanation."
"This is a pain!" L'arc said as he tapped his scythe down a bit as he soon said, "Long story short, we're heroes just like you, guys. Of another world, though."
"Another world, a world other than this one?" Shiro question as Therese started to explain herself as she said, "And just like your world, ours teeters on the brink of destruction, too. To prevent that-
"This world need to perish of saving yours, right?" Jun started to say as she stepped forth as she went on saying, "And to do that, the heroes of this world needed to be killed."
Everyone was silent for the moment as her friend looked to her as they thought 'Did she already knew?' as L'arc said, "Pretty much. We have something to fight for as well. That's why we can't afford to lose. You understand that don't you?"
"If you're trying to protect your world, then why the secrecy, why bother to befriend us only to stab us in the back?" Tsubaki said as Taiyo soon said, "Why not ask for our help as well, if we can figure out the cause of the waves, maybe we can stop it for both worlds?"
"Well like it or not, that can't happen if we could. No one know the reason of the waves are happening, but the only way for one of our world to survive, the other must be destroy," L'arc said as he sounded disappointed by this as it seems he didn't want to do it as well but for the sake of saving their world, sacrifices must be made as he soon said, "But don't worry, if we're gonna fight, let's keep it fair and square! and sense you already used those knights forms of your, you can summon them for a time, right?"
"Right," Shiro said as he knew the guy wanted to save his world, but he wasn't going to roll over and die along with the world he's in, if they can survive this battle, then Shiro will do all he can to grow even stronger to save this world, and if possible, save theirs as Shiro gotten ready to fight with L'arc said, "Then get ready shield hero."

With Shiba, Lezarg, and Miyuki as they stood off to the side to watch as this whole thing plays out as Miyuki soon said, "So these are the heroes from another world like master Madoras told us about then."
"I don't know why the Madoras told us to stay out of this fight though, if they lose, it would be on use to kill those heroes," Shiba said as Miyuki said to him, "Lord Madoras ordered us not to, to see if these four are able to handle themselves or not, if they can't then we will simply interfere and fight them ourselves, and we don't want to disobey the master orders, do we?"
"I guess not," Shiba said as he knows what Madoras would do to any of them if they disobeyed him. If they don't follow then Madoras would either destroy or turn them back to what they once were, and he wasn't planning on becoming a voiceless ghost again.
Lezarg remain silent as he watched the fight that is about to happen from the place they are at. Just then he turned his head slightly over to the ship Melty was at. For whatever reason he's looking over there, it seemed he was simply watching her in a protected manner.

"So, he was after them from the start?" Melty question as the Queen looked through her telescope to see what is happening as she said, "There's no mistaking it. They are clearly hostile towards the heroes."
The Queen look towards her forces as she declares, "I hereby declare those adventurers to be the enemy! Support the heroes and help suppress them!"
"Ma'am!" all the soldiers cry out as they prepared to back up the heroes.

Tsubaki jumped to the side as she fired off her arrows at L'arc who easily blocked them only to be forced to stop an attack from Jun. Joining the girls Taiyo swung his spear with a roar as they began to do battle with each other. Following him up was Shiro as he swung his sword at L'arc to try and help. Even if his combat abilities weren't up to snuff like his friend, he wasn't going to let them fight alone.
This went on as L'arc was able to keep up with the Four Heroes as nearby Rino joined in with her whip against them. The Vassal Hero glared at the pair as she was trying to provide aid to the Cardinal Heroes as best, she could. "Heads up!" Shiro called out and thus from nearby a rain of arrows came down upon the area.
Therese of course reacted and put up a barrier to stop the attacks covering L'arc's rear. "Therese." L'arc ordered as the young woman understood.
"Of course." Therese responded and thus got her next attack ready. "Power of jewels far and wide I beseech thee to heed my call and come to me." Therese invoked and in turn the group was forced to shield themselves from a burst of wind coming their way. "My name is Therese Alexandrite I ask my friends to be the force the destroys my targets for me." Therese invoked as she removed her head piece revealing a gem attached to her forehead that was glowing as her hair had turned crimson red. "I cast bejeweled meteor shower!" Therese invoked and in turn the attack went off hitting every ship on the water.
"Wait if this is happening... Filo!" Shiro cried out and in turn he was shocked to see the airship Filo was driving get hit and thus began to make a downward drop. As this happened, they all got ready to move when the vessel began to vanish in a flash of light akin to that of the Knights. Once it vanished Filo flew out and rolled on the ground a bit before being caught by Pete.
"Filo are you ok?" Raphtalia asked as she gave Filo a proper look over.
"Look out!" Jun cut in and thus Shiro with the Soul Eater Shield acted as the tank and worked on shielding his friends and their parties from the attacks.
Nearby L'arc saw the damage and gave Therese a disapproving look. "Therese." L'arc spoke as he sounded like he was scolding Therese.
"I know I'm only making sure we are not interrupted." Therese said as she looked to L'arc and the damage she had caused. "Now my friends protect my targets from the destruction around them! Bejeweled Silver Lining!" Therese invoked and in turn she summoned forth rain to put out the fires she had caused with her attack.
"You all saw that right... she can use attack and defensive magic." Jun said as Tsubaki agreed.
"What are they thinking?" Taiyo asked while Tsubaki then saw something on her hub.
"Huh?" Tsubaki wondered as she looked at a new alert. "Shiro were there any leftovers from when you made that bracelet for Therese earlier?" Tsubaki asked as she looked to Shiro.
"Yeah, took it as payment why?" Shiro asked and thus Tsubaki had an idea.
"I want to try something." Tsubaki said as Shiro nodded and tossed the jewel over to Tsubaki. "If they are from another world... with different forms of magic..." Tsubaki said as she was taking a gamble. She then fed the jewel to her Bow and in turn saw a new alert open up.
"Alert New Magic Tree unlocked!"
"Alert Moon Maiden Pactmaker gains a Bonus in learning magic!"
"Alert Bejeweled Magic Bow unlocked!"
"Alert Cardinal Bow Heroin/Moon Maiden's Pactmaker can now use the Bejeweled Magic Tree."
"It worked." Tsubaki called out and in turn activated her new Bejeweled Bow. But as soon as Tsubaki activated the new boy she cried out in pain. "Gauh!" She yelped grabbing her head as the group all looked shocked by this.
"Tsubaki!" Rishia cried out as she saw Tsubaki was in trouble.
But Tsubaki didn't hear her as a new voice she didn't know spoke up. "Hi Lady Tsubaki... it's nice to meet you." A voice spoke to Tsubaki as she looked to Therese and saw she also heard the voice.
"So that's what she meant when calling her friends." Tsubaki said remembering the chant Therese had used to utilize her magic.
"L'arc." Therese warned as she saw that Tsubaki now has access to her own magic now.
"Don't worry she doesn't know how to use it as well as you do." L'arc said hoping Jun wasn't a fast learner.
"Guys get ready." Jun said knowing full well what came next.
In turn L'arc roared out and made a beeline for Shiro. Shiro was wide eyed by this and thus blocked the attack with his shield. But when he did so he cried out in pain before backing off. When he did so Raphtalia and Filo came in and attacked L'arc only to be met with two of his scythes.
"Air Scythe Sleet! First Stance Wind Blow Out!" L'arc invoked and in doing so created a tornado around himself.
Raphtalia stepped back and in turn L'arc went for her. Taiyo came in and blocked the attack with the shaft of his spear narrowly avoiding the blade. Shiro came in next and use the Soul Eater Shield to attack L'arc and saw how it bit into his arm. L'arc cringed and jumped back from the attack.
Therese saw this and was wide eyed at what she saw. "Oh no!" She cried out but L'arc didn't feel anything.
"I'm ok it didn't hurt me at all." L'arc said as he flexed the arm that got bit and noticed something. "It does feel a little bit numb though." L'arc admitted as he flexed his hand a bit.
"Hey Therese!" Tsubaki called out and in turn she with Rishia and Aile charged into the fight with Jun and Kuro backing them up.
"Let's see how good this new ability is Power of Jewels far and wide I beseech thee to heed my call and come to me!" Tsubaki invoked as one of the jewels of her new bow began to glow. "I am the Bow Heroin and I ask my friend to be the force that pierces through my target! Bejeweled Ruby Blaze shot!" Tsubaki invoked and Therese responded in kind.
"Power of jewels far and wide I beseech thee to heed my call and come to me." Therese began as she spoke as fast as she could. "My name is Therese Alexandrite I ask my friends to be the force the destroys my targets." She continued while her hair began to turn from azure blue to crimson red while avoiding Tsubaki's shot. "Bejeweled Ruby Blaze!" Therese invoked as she sent out an azure blue fire ball at Tsubaki who avoided the attack as well.
"One more!" Tsubaki invoked and thus she and Therese fired off the attacks at the same time watching them clash. But it was Therese's use of it that stood up against Tsubaki.
Acting fast Jun jumped in and slashed through the spell with the mana sword she copied from Raphtalia. "Impressive you have a knack for magic odd for the Bow Heroin." Therese admitted as she didn't expect her foe to figure out her magic system this quickly... or did she figure it out.
"Honestly the wording may be different but it's similar to this worlds use of it, I just had to get the Jewel on my new bow to cooperate." Tsubaki said as she suspected that she may have limits to what she can do.
"I see then I apologize but I've been using this form of magic my whole life I don't expect you to figure it out in mere moments." Therese said knowing full well Tsubaki was grasping at straws with the magic of her world.
"Don't apologize I know that's why I'll compensate with what I do have!" Tsubaki called out and thus got the spell ready again. "Power of Jewels far and wide I beseech thee to heed my call and come to me! I am the Bow Heroin and I ask my friend to be the force that pierces through my target!" Bejeweled Ruby Blaze shot!" Tsubaki invoked once more ready to fire her shot.
"Power of jewels far and wide I beseech thee to heed my call and come to me I ask my friends to be the force the destroys my targets." Therese invoked and had her attack ready. "Bejeweled Ruby Blaze!" Therese called out and in turn both she and Tsubaki fired off their attacks at the same time.
Once it came through only smoked remained from the collision. But this time Tsubaki was ready. She had jumped up into the air and had another attack at the ready. "Soul Eater Bow: Mana Drain Shot!" Tsubaki called out and thus fired her arrow at Therese with her Soul Eater Bow. The arrow flew at Therese before she could respond and in turn it hit her. From the arrow it soon burst out and had balls of mana fly to Tsubaki refueling her own Mana reserves.
Jun ran in with her sword at the ready glaring at Therese. "Soul Eater Sword!" Jun invoked and slashed through Therese taking even more of her mana as she cried out from this
"Therese!" L'arc called out only to narrowly avoid an attack from Ryuko.
"Hey, focus on the fight here L'arc!" Taiyo called out as he, Rino, and Ryuko were helping Shiro, Raphtalia, and Filo.
L'arc then saw that Therese was on her own as he then made a beeline for Shiro. with his scythe ready he avoided Taiyo and his party and thus slashed down on Shiro who blocked the attack with his shield. But in doing so Shiro felt more pain from it as he cried out in response.
"Oh no!" Filo cried out when she saw this.
"Raphtalia back me up!" Taiyo called out and thus charged in with Raphtalia in tow.
"Right!" She called out and thus the two went for L'arc and began fighting him. As this happened Rino joined in and wrapped her whip around L'arc's arm forcing his defenses down. This allowed Raphtalia to move in. But alas L'arc was strong and thus dodged the attack and freed himself from the whip leaving it to Rino and Raphtalia to face L'arc.
"Shiro are you ok?!" Taiyo asked as he looked to his friend.
"I'm not sure I blocked the attack, but I still got hurt." Shiro said as he looked to his arm trying to figure out how that happened.
"Our weapons have unique abilities to them. Maybe their weapons follow the same rule." Taiyo offered as Shiro thought it over for a second.
"Look out!" Tsubaki called out and thus Shiro saw Therese was up and about.
"Bejeweled Sin Flame!" Therese invoked and fired an azure blue fireball at Shiro.
"Shit!" Shiro cursed and thus had his shield up. But all of a sudden, the attack was cancelled leaving Shiro confused. "Wait what?" Shiro asked as he saw this.
"I'm sorry." A new voice spoke as Shiro heard it as did Tsubaki.
Therese looked to the jewel accessory Shiro made for her with sadness in her eyes. "Of course, you don't want to fight him do you." Therese said as she saw why the jewel did not want to.
"Of course, Shiro made it and apparently these jewels are alive somehow. So, the jewel won't attack its creator." Tsubaki said realizing that this might work in their favor.
"Therese!" L'arc called out as he was worried for her.
"It's fine I'll use a different one." Therese said as she switched out her accessories.
"Wait a minute." Tsubaki said as she looked to what Therese did and compared it to her own Jewel Bow. Reaching to one of the jewels Tsubaki took hold of it and removed it and to her surprise it vanished into her Cardinal Weapons inventory. "Of course!" Tsubaki called out before reaching into her pouch and pulled another magical jewel out and replacing it. She then smiled as her Jewel Bows properties changed in response to the jewel replacement.
"Damn." Therese cursed as she heard Tsubaki as she was figuring out more about the new branch of magic that she had access too now.
"Drink up you two." Shiro said as he passed a few potions over to his party who took it.
"Girls you do the same." Taiyo said as he passed the potions over to Ryuko and Rino.
"Boss Pete and I will try and help out with the ships." Demonicon said as Jun nodded and in turn let the pair Bounty Hunters go to do the tasks they were assigned.
"Conan go with them." Tsubaki ordered and with a nod Conan followed after the pair of bounty hunters leaving Tsubaki with Aile and Rishia.
Once everyone was ready Shiro glared at L'arc. 'This doesn't make sense how was L'arc's weapon able to hurt me... does it ignore defense or... is it like what Taiyo suggested?' Shiro wondered and thus decided to take a gamble.
"You know I didn't realize there were weapons that can be detrimental to me L'arc... a defense reversing attack impressive." Shiro said as L'arc smiled to this.
"Glad you noticed Shiro. The higher my targets defense is the damage that attack is gonna deal to them." L'arc said as Jun was left wide eyed by this.
"That means..." Jun trailed off as she knew Shiro was in trouble now.
"That's right it's the perfect counter against the Shield Hero!" L'arc said as he looked to Shiro who stood there in shock. "You were just guessing right? Luckily for you I'm not your depressing friend here my policy is to fight fair even if my opponent isn't." L'arc said as he grinned at the heroes while making a small jab at Jun. "I have no secrets." L'arc admitted as Shiro saw what this meant.
(Back with the Dark Heroes)
"That's not a good thing." Miyuki said as she realized Shiro went from being the Tank to being the most Vulnerable.
"This would mean you have the best shot at beating him Lezarg?" Shiba began only to see Lezarg was missing now. "Lezarg where did you go?" Shiba asked as he saw the massive warrior was missing.
"How does someone that huge vanish so quietly?" Miyuki asked as even she was shocked with how fast Lezarg had moved.
(Back to the Battle)
"This is bad Shiro even with a sword is vulnerable against something that turns your own defensive power against you." Tsubaki said as even Jun knew Shiro would be vulnerable against the Vassal Scythe.
Taiyo was worry about Shiro, but when he look to his best friend, he is surprise to see his expression, as it was calm, and stern, not an ounce of fear as Shiro was thinking, "He want it to be a fair fight when it's a battle to the death, but then again ever sense I have meet him, he is always been like this."
Shiro thought back to all the time with L'arc acting carefree and friendly towards him and his friends, he may never understand the guy that well.
"Shiro!" Melty cry out when she was heard, surprising the group as they turn to her as she was on a boat with Lezarg which was more surprising to see as the big guy seem to have brought Melty over to them for some reason as Filo called out, "It's Mel!"
"Why did you come here?" Shiro asked as Melty said to him, "I came to get you and the other, I had to commandeer this boat to do so with some help."
Lezarg give a slight nod like he was greeting the group or something, with Melty suddenly pointed at Shiro and said, "You haven't finished this wave yet! So, hurry up and beat these guys already then finish the wave already so we can go home."
At this moment with both Shiro and Jun give a smile as Melty saw this and asked, "What?"
"Oh nothing," Shiro said with Jun also said, "Nothing important anyways."
As Shiro and Jun turn to the two other worldly heroes as Shiro started to say, "L'arc, you have a solid plan, those reversing defense attack will no doubt harm me, but they only work if you can land a direct hit on me and won't do you any good against my air strike shields, so I'll make do with them then."
L'arc smile to this as Shiro just revile his hand him which did shock the Taiyo, Tsubaki and the others as well, as Jun suddenly said, "Well if you're showing your hands to the enemy… then I guess better stick to normal fighting then and leave the cheap tricks out."
"And how would you do that?" L'arc question her as Jun raise her Cardinal and said, "I will not use any other special sword forms, as well any high tear spells I know of and have."
"Shiro, Jun! Why are you guys telling them this?" Melty question as she joined with Filo and Ryuko as Shiro said to her, "He said he wanted a fair fight, so why not give him just that?"
Taiyo understood what Shiro is meaning and knew what kind of man L'arc is as he suddenly said, "Well if we're being open on how we fight then I'll tell as well."
"Taiyo?!" Rino said as Taiyo he looked to her and said, "It fine, its fine, it's not like we can summon forth our armor again just yet, but I'm sure plenty of med to long range attack should work well against him." Taiyo pointed his spear out to L'arc and said, "And my weapon can do just that."
Tsubaki didn't know what to make of this as he give a sigh as she decided to go along with things and said, "And I guess I can counter against Therese's magic with my own, as well the more I work with this new branch of magic, the more I seem to get the hang of it too."
"Heh looks like we all have our cards on the table then." L'arc said with a smirk on his face excited for the battle to come.
"Yeah, the people of my world had a saying, when in Rome do as the Romans do." Jun said as she smirked at her foe and in turn it was clear what was about to go on.
"Well, if that's the case then, let's do it!" L'arc called out and thus swung his scythe at Shiro after charging at him.
Once that happed Shiro dodged the attack and thus called out. "Filo!" Shiro called and thus Filo came in and kicked L'arc who blocked with the shaft of his scythe. Once L'arc pushed Filo of Taiyo came in and slashed at L'arc who blocked with his scythe leaving himself open. Taiyo had the Venom Spear out and thus pushed L'arc back and slashed at him. When they attack had hit L'arc a cobra shot forth and bit down on L'arc causing him to go wide eyed.
"Venom?!" L'arc asked and in turn Therese saw this.
"L'arc!" Therese called out and shot forth an attack of fire. Tsubaki responded with an aqua shot as she joined it with Melty's own Aqua shot that met the attack from Therese causing the two to cancel each other out. Once that was done Aile came in with Rishia.
"Zweit Wind/Aqua Shot!" The two invoked firing off their attack and thus forcing Therese to flee from it. Doing so put her in range of Jun and Kuro.
"Sorry but you need to pick up the speed Therese." Jun said as she had her weighted cloak off now. Jun then went for a flurry of attacks against Therese who was forced to block and dodge but they were too fast for her to keep up.
Back with L'arc the Vassal Hero was facing Rino and Raphtalia as Taiyo provided the girls with back up. Just then Rino vanished and in her place was Ryuko appeared with a kick towards L'arc. L'arc of course blocked it but then Ryuko vanished and Raphtalia came in to fight. But after one airborne strike Raphtalia vanished from sight much to L'arc surprise.
"They're using illusions?!" L'arc asked and thus began to look for his foes. He was then met with a kick from Filo causing L'arc to block the attack.
"You're wide open!" Taiyo called out spinning his spear against L'arc.
"Got you!" L'arc called out only for Shiro to be heard.
"No got you!" Shiro called out and thus the Airstrike Shield appeared and was soon replaced by the Dog Bite Shield that bit down on L'arc.
"Create a Storm to blow them away, Typhoon!"
"Bring forth the rage of a Dragon and its sovereignty!" Ryuko and Rino called out as both knew what came next.
"DRAGON METEOR!" Taiyo finished and thus the two attacks combo on each other. "METEOR TYPHOON!" Taiyo roared out and went straight for L'arc who roared in pain as the triple combo attack nailed him. L'arc got out of the way just in time to avoid Taiyo's attack unaware that Shiro planned this in advance.
"Figured you'd do something like that." Shiro said and in turn L'arc hit an Airstrike Shield that was placed behind him.
Once he hit the ground Tsubaki and Jun had switched their opponents and with Raphtalia began to nail down on L'arc. Seeing this Therese sent out her magic towards the group only for Tsubaki to fire off an arrow to force Therese to stop the attack. Shiro of course saw some of it remained and used it to protect the group.
"Well looks like we bit off more than we can chew huh?" L'arc said as he was holding his injured arm from that last attack.
"So, this is what the Four Cardinal Weapons are capable of in the hands of proper wielders." Therese said as she saw that Shiro, and his friends were clearly out gunning the Vassal Hero and Therese with their teamwork. "Tsubaki is a quick learner and is able to adjust herself when dealing with a new concept of ability, Taiyo is reckless but it always the first to charge into the fight, Jun is perfect in the way of mind games and manipulation, and you Sir Shiro seem to possess qualities of all of them as well as the ones that you already have." Therese said as the group analyzed the battle.
"She can switch between defense and offense on a dime her use of that AOE spell is proof of that fact." Jun said as she looked to her friends.
"Well, they are heroes from their own world." Taiyo said as he glared at them. "We might be in for a tough fight." Taiyo added as the group were ready for more.
"You know I was bored out of my mind fighting monsters on Cal Mira." L'arc said before he pointed her Scythe at the group. "But there's nothing better than a fight between warriors with real strategy involved." L'arc said as he was really enjoying the battle taking place.
"Well can't say I disagree." Taiyo said as he smirked at L'arc. "So ready for round 2... or was it three?" Taiyo asked as he smirked against L'arc.
But before the battle could go on a familiar voice was heard. "Can you please stop fooling around?" The voice of Glass spoke as said voice echoed across the area.
"Heads up!" Tsubaki called out and thus from above them a violet bolt of magic came down and hit one of the boats. Looking to the boat as it was damaged and began tipping the group was met with the sight of Glass as she was accompanied by a young man with black hair and green eyes.
"Oh, you have got to be kidding me!" Tsubaki cursed as she saw Glass was here as well as a new face.
"Hey Glassy and Mirror Kiddo what brings you here?" L'arc asked as he greeted the two new arrivals.
"I got tired of waiting." Glass said as Jun glared at the group before her three of which she knew because of Kizuna but the fourth well Jun tensed up.
"Who is that woman? Just the sight of her makes me shiver." Melty asked as she saw Glass and the new arrivals with her while visibly shaking a bit.
"That's Glass, she almost offed us during the last wave and if my hunch is correct is a Vassal Hero herself." Jun said as she omitted that she knew this already. "That other guy on the other hand..." Jun said as she knew this young man no doubt had a grudge against Jun. It seems that no matter where she ran or how much distance she put; her past always came back to haunt Jun.
"So good to see you all again and more so the Weapons now fell to the hands of their intended wielders." Glass said as she saw the four Cardinal Heroes before her.
"Too bad you're going to regret that." Tsubaki said as she was ready for a fight.
"Well." Glass began and thus had her Fans ready. "ZERO STANCE RONDO REVERSE FOUR SEASONS!" Glass invoked and in turn sent her attack at the group. Shiro acted and got in front to protect his friends. But Glass was not done yet as she had her next attack ready. "Rupture Stance Rondo Tortious Shell Cracker!" Glass invoked and sent out her next attack which Shiro was able to block this time around.
"From the looks of his shield you haven't seen his best yet." Glass said as L'arc heard this.
"His best!? What do you mean?" L'arc asked as he looked to Glass in shock.
"When they get serious, they bring out evolved forms of theirs each with specialized powers and judging by the air of two of them, they both share an ominous power." Glass said as she looked to Shiro and Jun for that last bit. "From the looks of things, it seems that they all have gotten stronger since last time." Glass said as she got ready to fight. "It seems we will all be needed for this one." Glass added knowing full well not to underestimate the Cardinal Heroes.
"Yeah, great so mind putting a name and face to the new guy?" Taiyo asked but surprisingly it was Jun who answered for them.
"That new guy you speak of is named Naofumi Iwatani." Jun began as this got everyone's attention. "He's from the same world we're from but most of all... he's someone I screwed over a long time ago." Jun said as her voice was cold but carried with it shame and self-loathing.
"Glad to see you remember me, you bitch." Naofumi said as he glared at Jun who knew because of her Naofumi's life was ruined. "Lucky for me I got an edge after last time." Naofumi said and thus presented a mirror to the group. "After all, thanks to you I got snagged and became the Vassal Mirror Hero." Naofumi presented as it was clear Jun was not going to have a good time with this.
"Jun what is he talking about?" Shiro asked knowing Jun had never been forthcoming about her checkered past.
"Long story short, how did you think I was able to figure out Malty so easily?" Jun asked and thus let her friends put the pieces together.
"Oh shit." Taiyo said realizing what Jun did and how they were now suffering for it today. It was clear that they were in for the fight of their lives and the question remained which set of Heroes will be the victors. But for those not in the know like Jun, if the Vassal Heroes were here, where were the Cardinal Heroes of their world? More so what had happened to those Heroes that the Vassal Heroes are coming here to stop the Waves? Questions for another as now the next bout was about to begin.
