Turles chuckled as he watched the Namekian drag the kicking and screaming human female out of the dining room area.
'That little rose has thorns! Kakarot obviously had taste. Such a fiery female is worthy to be the mate of a Saiyan. Who would think that such a delicate beauty could punch SO HARD? But why would she believe that I killed Gohan?' the Saiyan pirate thought to himself.
He shook his head and rubbed the left side of his jaw. He'd soon be walking about with a bruise for sure. But It was worth it for the sheer amusement he 'd enjoyed over the murderous look he received from the fallen Saiyan's mate. If looks could kill…..
Kqarasayla's immense bulk quaked in absolute terror. Surely they'd all suffer for Chi-Chi's outrageous behavior.
"L-Lord Turles, I-I'll inform t-the Earth w-woman that her p-position here is t-terminated!" the four-armed female managed to say.
"You'll do no such thing. What is her position here?" the dark-skinned Saiyan questioned.
"S-She's t-the head c-cook!"
Kqarasayla panicked. In her fearful state she'd forgotten to address the conqueror of planet Arturay properly. To her immense relief the preoccupied pirate didn't seem to notice.
"So she's responsible for the exquisite menu this afternoon?" Turles queried.
"Y-Yes, Lord T-Turles," was the reply.
'You definitely made an excellent choice ,Kakarot' the Saiyan warrior mused.
"And you are certain this woman hails from the planet Earth, Kqarasayla?"
"A-Artruay informed me t-that she and the blue-haired female that c-came with her had b-both arrived here from Earth, Lord T-Turles," the rotund orange female declared.
That piqued the Saiyan's curiosity.
"Do you know the name of this blue-haired female?"
"B-Bulmer, Buller …" Kqarasayla stammered in confusion. She couldn't recall the name!
"Bulma? " Turles finished for her
"Yes, Lord Turles! I'm sure that was it!"
'Well the plot thickens' Turles considered this new information.
"Give this cook some extra duties so she'll feel chastised for her… little display. Find out what you can about the child she claims to have lost and report back to me immediately with any information you obtain. You are to discuss this matter with NO ONE. Is that understood?"
"Yes, Lord Turles," Kqarasayla sighed with relief.
"I will leave this matter in your capable hands, Kqarasayla. You have my trust as always."
"You are most merciful, Lord Turles."
Turles smirked as the quivering orange bald life-form bowed and hurried to do his bidding as fast as her considerable size would allow. Kqarasayla was no by no means visually appealing but she was uncompromisingly loyal. And she would continue to be so if she wished for her home planet to remain intact.
…
The green reptilian medic let out a long sigh as he checked on his patient that floated in the blue fluid of a rejuvenation tank on Frieza's baseship C-28. Vegeta had been restored to his optimum condition only to be rendered almost lifeless by Lord Frieza just hours after his initial healing session. When it came to the Saiyan prince the Ice-jin was merciless in dealing out punishment...
...
"Was it really necessary to call THEM in?" Zarbon huffed.
"Lord Frieza deemed it necessary. He's had quite enough of that Saiyan pirate," Dodoria said flatly.
"One of us could have dispatched him quite easily," the teal-skinned changeling pressed.
"True ,but Frieza's been out of sorts since his pet monkey prince failed to dispose of Turles," the bloated pink-skinned behemoth stated.
The emerald-haired soldier of Frieza rolled his eyes as the elaborate introductions and routines began….
for the Ginyu Force!
….
"LET ME GO! I'M GOING TO KILL THAT MONSTER!" Chi-Chi bellowed.
Malako held fast to the thrashing furious Chi-Chi "I'll let you go when you calm down!"
The Namekian tried to reason with the irate female "Seriously Chi-Chi! You're going to take on the Saiyan that controls this planet? Do you have any idea how many lives he's taken? How many worlds Turles has destroyed? We're lucky he didn't come back here and blast us both into nothing!"
"Precisely!" Kqarasayla scolded. "You put everyone on this planet in danger! What would you accomplish if Turles returned to his ship and fried us all? Our blood would be on YOUR hands!"
"B-But h-he killed m-my son!" Chi-Chi wailed.
Malako shook his head "You're not the only…"
He fell silent when the enormous orange being raised her right hand.
"Come Chi-Chi, dear. Tell old Kqarasayla all about your terrible loss," the bald female said soothingly as she put two fleshy orange arms about the distraught brunette's shoulders and walked her to her private office.
'What are you up to Kqarasayla?' the Namekian wondered.
….
Daiz raised an eyebrow when he saw the purpling bruise on Turles's jaw but said nothing.
Gartoas couldn't resist "Ya done got yerself inta trouble wi'out us 'round so's ya behave. Ay, Master Turles?"
"A little disagreement with a female nothing more," Turles snickered.
"You probably deserved that," the former Kabochan prince added as he broke into a knowing grin.
"I should say so!" the Saiyan male chortled.
Gohan scratched his head and looked perplexed in typical Son fashion. Zailora sighed and shook her head as the three adult males burst into laughter.
Turles watched as the Charladon pup joyfully greeted Gohan as he entered the ship. Her silly tail wagged furiously as the little half-blood fed her scraps from his afternoon meal.
"E's spoilin' that mutt!" Gartoas grumbled.
"We could always start feeding YOU scraps if you're jealous," Turles taunted.
The Kardanagan grit his teeth and stomped to his quarters.
…
As he piloted his ship through space, Turles sensed another presence.
Turles looked up questioningly as Zailora entered the bridge area. The rest of the crew had turned in hours before. She took her usual seat and faced the Saiyan pirate commander.
"Is there something on your mind that keeps you from retiring, Zailora?" Turles asked.
A long sigh came from the dark green-haired female. She wasn't sure if it was wise to speak her mind.
"May I speak freely, Commander?"
'Now what?' Turles wondered.
"You may speak freely," the spiky-haired male announced.
"Commander, You don't have much regard for women do you?" Zailora asked cautiously.
"I have been brought up to respect females since my childhood. I had female comrades when I served in the Saiyan military forces that were more than worthy of my respect," Turles replied. "I would not have taken you on as part of my crew if I considered women beneath my notice. I did not make it a practice to hire females as emotional entanglements prove most detrimental in our profession."
"So….why did you hire me?"
"I saw something in you that made you an exception to my self-imposed rule. That is all I will say concerning that matter."
"Master Turles, those cruel remarks you made about Nappa's daughter…."
"Completely fabricated. I wouldn't have dared to go near an elite Saiyan female with my low ranking," the dark-skinned Saiyan cut in.
"Then why would you say such crude awful things, Commander?" a horrified Zailora questioned.
"Nappa would get careless when he was angry. I merely took advantage of that fact," Turles pointed out.
"What about Raditz? You set him up to be killed by his own teammate!" the Kabochan female accused.
"Now Raditz was a different story altogether. He was guilty of everything I said," the black and silver armored warrior smirked.
"But Nappa would still kill him!"
"Exactly, I would not have to take the life of a Saiyan I grew to maturity with."
Turles's statement took her by surprise. He had not wanted to kill the long-haired Saiyan.
"I see now, Commander. But what of all these women Gartoas and Daiz tease about? Is it right to string them along?"
Zailora shivered as a predatory grin crossed the Saiyan's face.
"It is not your concern. However I will explain. The women who I…keep company with on occasion are completely aware that there are no binding ties between them and myself. As I am not their mate I am not obligated to be bound to one of them and them alone. I do not force myself on them they are willing participants. Now I might be guilty of stealing a kiss or two from an attractive female without their permission but I'm sure that has brought them no harm. I also freely admit I that enjoy teasing women that possess a bit of fire. Now I see no need to go on."
"What about Raychalla, Master Turles?" Zailora pressed on.
She immediately regretted her words as she heard the pirate commander suck in his breath. The grin faded from his handsome face which suddenly turned into an emotionless mask. Zailora could have sworn a pained expression had come over the dark-skinned Saiyan's face for just a fleeting moment.
"Raychalla…Raychalla knew that she had no hold on me. She…simply refused to accept that. I must inform Daiz of his turn to pilot the ship," Turles said with a trace of ice in his voice.
…..
An exhausted Chi-Chi returned to the quarters she shared with the former heiress of Capsule Corps. After pouring her heart out to the orange four-armed manager of Artruay's restaurant she was flabbergasted when she was told she was to clean the entire dining room area. On top of that she was made to clean all the linens that were used that full day. The Ox-King's daughter didn't care if she ever laid eyes on a cloth napkin again. All the utensils had to be polished as well.
Chi-Chi rubbed her aching back and flexed her sore fingers. It infuriated her that she had been punished for simply behaving like a grieving mother. A slight smile crossed her face though. It had been quite gallant for Malako to stay on after his shift to assist her. She could only imagine how long all her extra tasks would have taken her to complete without his help. What would she do without him? She wished she could leave this world now that she knew to whom it belonged. But where would she and Bulma go? How would they survive? As much as she hated the idea they were stuck here for the time being.
It was very late now and all she wanted was to have a hot shower and to crawl into her bed for some much needed rest. Surely Bulma must have turned in for the night hours ago. Chi-Chi had no intention of letting the young scientist find out about that callous Saiyan's actions. She had mercilessly berated Bulma for her encounter with Turles. There was no telling the amount of torment her azure-haired friend would inflict on her if she knew about that monster's outrageous behavior.
After taking her shower, toweling off and putting on a sleeping garment Chi-Chi went past Bulma's room. The light suddenly flipped on and Bulma stepped into the hall with an evil grin that would do Turles himself proud.
"So, I hear you got a kiss from Turles!"
….
Daiz was surprised when Turles returned to the bridge area instead of turning in for the night.
"There is something we must discuss that will remain only between the two of us until I deem otherwise," Turles insisted.
The Kabochan male sighed deeply. He did not want to keep things from Zailora but he would follow Turles's orders.
"Go on. Commander," Daiz replied.
"I have discovered that Kakarot's mate still lives," he Saiyan informed him.
It took Daiz a moment to recover from his surprise that the female had survived Earth's destruction as well as the fact that Turles would even encounter her at so vast a distance away from the ruined planet.
"I am supposing she is Gohan's mother, Master Turles?" the dark green-haired pirate asked.
"She claims to be."
"And I suppose you want to keep this information from Gohan, Master Turles?"
"I will decide if and when he becomes aware of her existence. For the moment she is under the impression that I disposed of Gohan," Turles answered.
"I see. Does this female resemble Gohan in any way, Commander?"
"Her temper certainly does!" the dark-skinned Saiyan chuckled as he rubbed his jaw.
Daiz grinned "I'm guessing she's the one that…"
"Managed to land a very hard punch!" Turles interrupted. "Kakarot chose well. She has both beauty and strength."
The former prince nodded.
"I wish to find out just who told Gohan's mother that I took his life and why they would do so," the pirate commander stated.
Suddenly Turles's scouter beeped. He tapped the device to receive the incoming message.
"Lord Turles , It is your humble servant, Kqarasayla."
"The hour is late Kqarasayla. You'd best have the information you were ordered to obtain," Turles warned.
"Yes, of course, my lord! Please forgive my tardiness, the Earth female was quite stubborn. She finally informed me that the blue-haired female Bulma told her of her child's death."
The Saiyan's eyes narrowed at the news.
"Excellent Kqarasayla. You will not repeat our discussion to anyone do I make myself clear?"
Kqarasayla swallowed hard at the Saiyan's threatening tone.
"I will not speak of it, Lord Turles," the frightened female squeaked.
"Very well that is all, Kqarasayla," Turles said imperiously.
"Ah, the blue-haired female that attended the marriage ceremony. How are you going to track down this 'Bulma', Master Turles?" Daiz queried.
"I know exactly where to find her!"
…
So what did you think? Please let me know!
