Day 161: Toilday the 26th, Calistril, 4708

*This is the fourth of six entries that are recorded after I came to after the sixth day. I had a bad issue with the techno-magical awareness supplement that three days before this entry, and it continued throughout this day. Everything here is what has been gathered from witness accounts and evidence*

I apparently awoke early again and went right to work on the next supplement machine. The Quads were again already there, and I immediately went to work, hooking everything up for this day's project, and got it already together even earlier, long before the before the break for lunch. Between the two separate projects, I took a brief moment to call Chelger over the radio and recommended that he get this next batch. While I was waiting for noon, I worked hard on getting the next one's base and utilities set up. Shortly before noon, Savah, Faunra, Dame Rebekah, and Chelger all showed up. I apparently greeted Savah with a lot of love and compassion, and everyone took their places.

We all stood before our assigned dispensers and got ready to take our once-a-day nutritional supplements. Everyone consumed the small "meal" as appropriate, and then we discussed what would be going on for each of us for the day. Chelger and Dame Rebekah were going on a rove through the terrain near their Hostel, as they still wanted to do some double checks for the hive of subterranean undead and ghouls that had been in the caves leading away from the former Foxglove Manor. I could not fault them with their focus, as getting rid of those Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dwellers could only help our local community, if the issues that we hade with the farmsteads before encountering the Manor were any indication.

I was told that Savah announced that she would be dealing with the shop, as for some reason, it was an extremely busy day today. I guess that more people are arming up as the rumors inevitably spread about a coming disaster, no matter that it wasn't going to effect Sandpoint anyway. The Quads said that I explained that I had told everyone that I would be heading back to Magnimar with Niddler to finish the airport. Savah and I both hugged while we shook hands with the others. Niddler told me that I mentally requested his presence while I walked Savah back to her shop. Niddler told me later that Savah has said that she loved everything that I had gotten her and thanked me again. We hugged a bit more and Niddler told me that she whispered something in my ear that he couldn't make out.

Niddler told me later that I smiled and whispered something back to her before kissing her hand and apologizing that I must depart. Niddler landed on my shoulder, and I had cautioned him that I would be teleporting before Faunra put her hand on my shoulder. Faunra wanted to hitch a ride, so to speak, as she had to get registered with Toth Bhreacher for her entry into the Golemwalk Parade. I then teleported the lot of us to the Airport and Faunra smiled before she asked me if we needed anything. Niddler tells me that I said that I need some of the more comfort items, like bedding and such, and that I transmuted four pounds of pebbles into gold for her to use to pay. Faunra said that she'd go right away after getting the registration done. Then she thanked me and bounding off, noting that she would be back for the trip back to Sandpoint.

Niddler tells me that I immediately got back to work, summoning into existence massive horizontal stone walls to finish the runway and more iron walls for the building. With the remainder of my upper-level capacity for arcane miracles, I created more hordes of crafters to finish out the accoutrements of the hangar, and even converted some of the items to be more suitable furniture. By the time I was done, I had a fairly decent establishment, with whatever was needed for true comfort being needed to be acquired from Faunra's promised shopping spree.

After the hangar and the runway were finished, I went to go get the Lord-Mayor (and Valanni) to give it their seal of approval. The Lord-Mayor was apparently too busy with one of his… high priority "courtesans" … to take the time out to deal with my nonsense. When Valanni checked it out, he was impressed with the alacrity of the build. We shook hands on the first portion of the contract's completion. Niddler says that I told Valanni that once I got a tally on how much more work was needed to be accomplished on another project, I would give him an update for the expected date of arrival. Valanni thanked me and asked me when the first time we would see the airport in use.

From what I am told, Faunra popped up behind me and told him that the first flight landing at the airport would be Pharast the Second, Starday. Valanni seemed a bit surprised, but I offered up that there was a detachment of individuals from Sandpoint who were participating in the Golemwalk Parade, and that I would be flying the group in from Sandpoint to be arriving in Magnimar the day before. We went on to discuss some other details, but neither Niddler nor Faunra paid enough attention to what was discussed, so unless I want Valanni to know about this, I'll have to take the wonder to the grave. We got together and Faunra teleported us back to the Ashen Rise.

I thanked her as she went into her tower after wishing Niddler and I a good day. Niddler and I then flew to return back to the University. On my way back, we encountered a merchant wagon with a broken wheel with the straps to the oxen train torn. Niddler told me that I flew down to it to help while I told him to remain elevated. It is a good thing that I did, because Niddler tells me that the merchants were actually a bunch of ghouls, who all set upon me.

Not to say that they actually managed to hurt me all that bad, but not being armored or really armed means that they easily got the best start to the fight. All I could do is RBF them, granted I had a bit of a benefit in that the blows were enhanced with the fighting techniques that I had learned. Niddler told me that the darkness of the shadowed side of the wagon seemed to pool around me like a cloak as I raised my fists in a fighting stance. The fight was fairly short, in that they got in a bite and a claw in on me, while I did the British proud by practicing their native martial art of Boo-Tin. I dropped three after the lot of them pounced on me and finished off the other two very quickly thereafter.

Niddler flew down to check on me, but by then I had already repaired the wagon. I used the enchanted spade to dig a trench five feet wide by ten feet long, ten feet deep. I summoned up a layer of stone on the bottom of the trench and transmuted that to wood. Then I transmuted the walls of the trench to wood as well. Apparently, I felt that this wasn't enough, so I rummaged through the wagon that they had lured me down with. I was in luck, as they had a large amount of firewood, a large quantity of flasks of oil, and a box of charcoal. I set it all up to give them an impromptu subterranean pyre while Niddler did some checking among the bodies and the wagon.

Once everything was ready, we placed the bodies on the unlit pyre and splashed oil over all of it, with the charcoal underneath them as a bed. I sparked it all off from distance of fifty feet, just to be safe. The pyre went up with a roar. I didn't want to leave the area until it was done, so I went through the contents of the merchant wagon. I later learned that it was full of produce and goods, likely a cover.

There were twenty large bags of wheat, eight barrels of ale, a half dozen casks of dried figs, ten bottles of honey, and even almost a dozen small casks of spices, including allspice, dried basil, cloves, cinnamon, and dill. There were almost two dozen iron pots, a pair of merchant scales, a mortar and pestle, and even some furniture, including a desk, a wardrobe, and a large iron box. That wasn't the concerning part. Hidden in the back of the wagon was a portable ram and a light catapult. These ghouls were willing to besiege a compound to get in. Real thirty days of night kind of shit. One of them even had a signet ring that looked like an open maw with sharp teeth.

We gathered up everything into the wagon after the bodies were cremated and the ashes were buried. Niddler tells me that I tried to take up the reins and pull the laden down wagon. I wasn't wearing my armor so that was a no-go. I then teleported back to the house while leaving Niddler there. I teleported back to the wagon only seconds later, with my armor fully on and powered up.

I took up the position on the wagon again and it moved easily. After a few hours here, we got back to the university and put the wagon into the garage and heading back to the house. I thanked Niddler for his assistance and he went back to his farm. I headed back to the house and Savah, where she found out about the ghoul attacks, and we got out some potions to heal me up after cleaning out the wounds. I told her about what the ghouls had in their wagon, and she agreed that this was of concern that we would bring up to Dame Rebekah in the morning. We spent the rest of the night together.
