FERROKINESIS

When Izuku walked into the common room, everyone stopped to stare.

"Nice hairstyle, Midoriya," Kirishima said. "It's super manly!"

Izuku looked up. His hair pointed sideways, pulling towards the far side of the room. "I had not authorized any deviation from standard grooming protocols. I hypothesize that I am being pulled towards a magnet."

"Didn't you say you were made of nonmagnetic materials?" Yaoyorozu asked.

"It is a very powerful magnet."

Izuku slid sideways. His feet made a horrendous scraping sound as they tore up the concrete flooring. When he bumped against a sofa, Izuku ground to a stop. The sofa groaned as Izuku's weight pressed against it. Izuku pitched forward, over the top of the sofa, landed on his face, and slid down the cushions. He then slid face-first across the concrete towards a window.

"Shouldn't we do something?" Iida asked.

"You remember what happened last time we played tug of war, right?" Sato pointed out. "If we tried pulling him back, we're all getting dragged with him."

"What if we made a second magnet?" Kaminari asked. "One equally as strong as the first?"

Yaoyorozu pulled a neodymium magnet out of her shirt. Said magnet immediately flew out of her grasp and stuck against the far wall, leaving a tiny crater.

"To be fair," Yaoyorozu said to Kaminari, "It went better than most of your ideas."

Izuku bumped against the wall. His face squeezed against the concrete. His legs bent up and over himself until they pressed against the wall. He stayed like that for a few seconds before slumping back to the floor. The magnetism yanked, and Izuku slammed into the same spot. Slumped back down. Slammed into the wall. Cracks appeared, but the concrete held firm under the assault.

Izuku slid across the wall and towards a window. The magnetism slackened, then slammed him into the glass. The window shook, but the glass held. The magnetic force slammed him a few more times before sliding Izuku towards the door. Izuku spun around until his hand caught on the doorknob. The magnetic force carefully turned the doorknob, then pushed on Izuku.

"It's a pull door," Jirou said to no one in particular.

The magnetic force seemed exasperated as it slackened up enough for the door to open a crack. Then it pulled. Izuku hit the door, and it closed again.

"Hah!" Sero said. "They can't even open a door right."

The entire building groaned. Cracks formed around the base of the room, and the entire structure rose into the sky. Izuku slid forward, right into the door, which had remained where it was despite the doorframe rising into the sky. The magnetic force gave one final slam against the door before yanking Izuku sideways and pulling him out of the U.A. campus.

The building slammed back into place, slightly off center. Aizawa came downstairs, wearing a black bathrobe and his hair wrapped in his capture scarf.

"Can anyone explain why the water shut off?"

I made ramen from scratch (except the noodles, I'm not that insane) over the new year. It involved boiling bones for thirty hours. (Okay, maybe I am insane.)
