Sorry for the huge delay, I was busy with my dragon book, before we continue with the story I would like to answer Obiben27's review. Uh Obiben27... my dragon oc name Volkossah and his species may be a mistake to you, but it is not to me because I made him along with my other dragons. The part about the two deer suffering, I only saw some misspelled mistakes that I will fix. So with that out of the way, my two week posting schedule will be thrown out the window. Cause I will put more detail into my fanfictions, like I'm doing in my dragon book. On that note I'm looking for someone to edit my fanfictions and a co-author to help me out with this fanfiction and future fanfictions that I may write, I already have a beta reader. So if you're interested in editing or being my co-author, just pm me or write it in a review. I'm not asking much of your time so before I rumble about it, let's continue with the story.
Chapter 2
A Parasitic Vision, A Ancient Foe
My sleep was not very good for me, I was twisting and turning like as I was in some type of nightmare. Before I could wake up, I heard a dark and demonic voice.
"Volkossah…. My host! Do you really think that you can escape from me? Just embrace your true power then the fun will begin... for me anyway." My eyes snapped open as I found myself standing in a void of darkness. I heard him snarl in rage that was ringing everywhere around me, I recognized that voice. He was Zylydra a parasite that was born within me and has may my life a living hell by giving me headaches and dark visions of the future.
"Fuck you Zylydra, I will never join you!" I growled in anger to no one in particular, as I heard Zylydra within my head. Whatever Zylydra wanted, I wanted nothing to do with him.
"Aw Volkossah how could you say that? We both had so much fun together." Zylydra innocently asked as I snorted at my parasite's claim as I felt him playing with my past memories of my life. I will never want him to control me, if he does then that would make me into a murderous psychopath hellbent on infection Alagaesia into a wasteland.
"I said that because I want nothing to do with you, you bloodthirsty bastard. I'm more happy with Saphira than you. So take your pride and shove it up your ass." I was not realizing what I was saying, until I heard Zylydra roar in laughter. What was so funny to him? I had no idea what the reason was.
"What the fuck are you laughter at? You prick!" I roared out in rage as I felt my parasitic darkness rising up from my anger. Zylydra laughter slowly stopped as he grinned in a menacing way.
"I'm laughing at you because you can't kill me Volkossah, You've to kill yourself in order to remove me. I can control you and kill the last hope of Alagaesia easily. So don't you dare threaten me or I will infect the whole damn continent by using you." Zylydra growled in anger as that caused me to feel a massive headache from my parasite host. I growled irrationally from the headache and from Zylydra's statement. He was right, he could control me and use me because I don't have control over him yet. I was not afraid of losing control, because I was frightened of killing the ones that I'm close to.
"Shit! So there is no way to remove you without harming myself?" I asked, growling in worrily at Zylydra's words. I hoped there was another way to remove him, if I can't remove him then he could end everyone's lives quickly by using me. But it seems that I can not remove my parasite at all.
"That's right, so good luck. You're in for the ride of your life." Zylydra grinned as he faded from my presence, leaving me alone in the dark void with a vision of the future.
What I saw in the vision was Alagaesia, but it was an infected wasteland with parasitic dragons everywhere that come into contact with parasitic darkness. I saw many human skeletons in every corner of the continent, with many elves, dwarf and urgals skeletons as well. With that vision came a message.
"When darkness rains down on Alagaesia, a parasitic dragon infected powers rise. A white dragon is destined to end parasitic dragons, a parasitic dragon who becomes one with the sapphire dragon, another parasitic dragon is born, another shining hope for Alagaesia. Darkness and light become one, parasitic against the egg breaker. A new enslaved dragon will enter, another choice for parasites to thrive." I was fucking confused as I hear this message. I couldn't figure it out as I thought about it, but before I could think about it. I found myself back in reality before I could do that.
I snapped my eyes open and found myself next to Saphira's sleeping form. Whatever that message meant had something to do with Saphira, that I can tell you. Before I could wake Saphira up, she woke up as she lazily yawned, showing her teeth and tongue.
"Good morning Volkossah, did you sleep well?" Saphira purred out in happiness as I stayed quiet for a few minutes to gather my thoughts.
"Morning Saphira, and no I didn't sleep well. Actually I had a vision and a message." I growl in anger as I know that both of them were from my parasite, but I must tell her about the vision and the message from Zylydra, Saphira cut in.
"What did the vision show you, Volkossah? And what about the message?" Saphira asked, yawning once more as she stood up. She then started to stretch her legs and wings, while I was thinking of how to answer this.
"I'll show you through my mind, instead of telling you." I yawned as I saw Saphira nodded in acknowledgement, while Saphira proceeded to sit on her hind legs. I was afraid that if I told her then she would be frightened of me as I had that thought while I was pulling Saphira's mind toward mine, feeling Saphira's presence piercing through my barrier. I allowed her to see the vision and the message from my host as I played my dream for her. For a few minutes I did this, I just showed her the dream, not my memories. I keeped that a secret for me and at the end of the dream, I released Saphira from my mind. She was very surprised at what she saw.

Darkness and light become one, parasitic against the egg breaker. A new enslaved dragon will enter, another choice for parasites to thrive. What does it all mean Volkossah? Also the vision of humanity and the dragon race. Is that their future to die and be infected?" Saphira asked growling half in fear, the other half in confusion as she was horrified at the vision, along with the prophecy. I sighed as I didn't have any ideas either.
"I don't know what it means either Saphira. Now we know that exact future of Alagaesia could be possible unless we change something in the near future, my only guess is that I could lose you and that could cause my parasitic darkness to spread rapidly uncontrolled." I answer slowly, trying not to scare Saphira. Luckily she was calm as I knew my rage can cause an outbreak of parasitic darkness across the land.
"I hoped that wouldn't ever happen, even though I met you two days ago. I consider you a friend to me, plus you have impressed me already." I tilted my head at Saphira's words while growling in confusion as I looked at Saphira with my puzzling expression.
"Wait, what! I impressed you! What have I done to do that Saphira?" I asked, growling in confusion at Saphira's question, how did I impress her? I had no idea how I did it, but I wanted to find out.
"Volkossah you impressed me by bringing me food yesterday, that can help if we have hatchings. You already proved to me that, if I'm pregnant with dragon eggs or with some hatchlings you can provide me with food for me and them. All you need to prove now is to defend me from another dragon and to fight for me." Saphira stated as she was purred, happily indicating that she was in a good mood. I was surprised that I already proved to Saphira that I can provide for her, now all I need to do is to prove my strength to her and to defend her from another dragon.
"I didn't expect to prove myself to you already, but thanks for the compliment." I purred happily as I was proud of myself. Saphira was looking away, probably wanting to focus ahead of our journey to end the egg breaker's tyrant.
"Uh... yeah no problem Volkossah. So what do you want to do today since Eragon is grieving over his loss?" Saphira asked, humming in a good mood as I thought about this.
"Since Eragon is grieving, how about we play together?" I answered growling in a playful manner as I asked while lowering my front body while keeping my other half up with my tails wagging. Saphira was surprised at my action as she thought about it.
"Sure, I would love to play with you Volkossah." Saphira answered, humming happily as she suddenly takes off into the skies before I could follow her.
"Hey! Come back, you cheated!" I took off after her, as I roared out to her. But I was glad that I got Saphira's mind off of her rider's grieving state for a few hours, on the other hand I was annoyed at Saphira's playfulness. Saphira kept flying as I felt her presence in my mind, while I was beginning to chase her down.
"I did not cheat Volkossah, you are just too slow." I growled at Saphira's words as I quickly gained some momentum while I was decreasing the gap between us, wanting to make her eat her own words. I wanted to leave her in the dust as my right eyes started to twitch in annoyance, while I was trying to grab her. Saphira maneuvered to the right, causing me to miss
"Really Saphira! You'll eat your words once I beat you." I roared out as I quickly followed Saphira while the sapphire dragon was growling playfully. I was about to make an attempt to grab her again, when I felt my parasitic darkness stir within me. I hesitated knowing that if I grabbed her she would easily fail out of the sky from my parasitic darkness, so instead I increased my speed, nearly passing her as I tagged Saphira with my tail.
"Tag, you're it!" I growled playfully as Saphira was the one that was irrational now, while Saphira was surprised, I increased my gap over her. This was because of my four wings, I can fly faster than the Alagaesia dragons due to me having more aerodynamics in my wings. Even with the inside of the wings torn, I can still fly more quickly than standard dragons
"Come'on slowpoke, try to catch me." I teased Saphira to chase me in a game of tag, I successfully made a female dragon mad who was not happy at all.
"Volkossah!" I heard Saphira roar out in rage as I successfully made a dragoness anger. Before I could do anything, I felt my parasitic darkness acting up as that caused me to slow down enough. So much that I was slamming from behind while feeling claws pinned to my wings. Causing us to fall out of the sky, The fall could have injured us both but luckily we landed in lush grass on a hill rolling down it. All the while I heard voices starting to ring throughout my head.
"Dominate Saphira, Fuck her brutally! Make her your queen of darkness, your slave!" The dark and demonic voice rang out as I was unaware of Saphira's frightened voice calling my name and that Saphira was on top of me. I know what the voice wanted? It wanted me to make Saphira into a parasitic dragon and mate with her. As much as I wanted to do that, I will not rape the last female dragon of Alagaesia. I can transform a dragon into my kind but I rarely do it, the reason why I know this because as I was a hatchling. At three days old I find a lizard in my home and I unintentionally cause it to transformed into a small parasitic dragon. But before it could escape i had to kill it cause if I didn't, a outbreak would have happened above before I become a adult dragon. If I let it alone than I would not be the last parasitic dragon, but I didn't want to take the risk have a rival so I had to kill it. The downside to my power is that I could enslave Saphira if I lose control while transfering my power into her. However I can transfer my parasitic darkness into Saphira making her into a full blooded parasitic dragon, if I stay calm, which normally happens.
"Volkossah!" Saphira roared out in fear as she got off of me. I then felt a massive amount of parasitic darkness bursting outward in a purple shockwave. The shockwave hit Saphira causing her to skid a few feet from me, as a small amount of the parasitic energy was absorbed into Saphira. The rest was destroying trees around us, while Saphira growled in discomfort as an alienated feeling started to settle within the sapphire dragon. Other than that nothing happened to Saphira, I sigh in relief as Saphira was not hurt. No transformation into a parasitic dragon or anything like that, but whatever happens to Saphira is unknown for now. What I do know is that the more parasitic darkness is absorbed by a dragon, the less time it takes for a normal dragon to mutate into a parasitic dragon. Saphira on the other hand absorbed a small amount of parasitic energy, so it would take longer for her to mutate into my kind. I snapped out of my thoughts as I wanted to make sure Saphira was okay for now.
"Saphira, are you okay?" I asked in worry as I growled in sympathy for Saphira, having her to go through this. As I watch Saphira taking deep breaths to claim her nerves.
"Yeah, but what happened and why do I feel a strange alienated feeling inside me? Like something is about to burst out of me." Saphira asked in fear of what happened to her, as I was quick to comfort her. About what happened, I do not know why my parasitic darkness absorbed into the sapphire dragon but I want to find out why.
"I don't know Saphira, but my guess is that a small amount of my parasitic darkness is somehow absorbed into your body from the parasitic shockwave. It's not a large amount, just a small amount. It's possible that you could become like me, but there is no telling how long it could take. Our best bet is from me to keep an eye on the small amount of parasitic darkness that is within you. I will keep an eye on it, while you focus on helping Eragon dethroning the king" I explained as I want to keep Saphira on target for her goal and not on my parasitic darkness. Before Saphira could say anything, we heard a vicious roar.
"Volkossah!" An all too familiar voice called out to me as she landed in front of us, while we both were surprised to see another dragon here. I didn't know who it was but I felt that I knew her from other parasitic dragon's memories. It was someone called Shyiexkos, a white dragon that is hellbent on killing the parasitic race. Shyiexkos is the last of the light clan, due to the shadow war between my race and her clan, she somehow survived the eternal war and is now in this war with Galbatorix. But that does not explain why that is another dragon here. Me, Saphira and the king's dragon are thought to be the last dragons in Alagaesia. Plus a golden one with the elves, I never met him but somehow I know he was with them in Ellesmera. Saphira was stunned to see another dragon.
"Impossible another dragon, but how?" Saphira roared out in shock as the white dragon landed, growling menacing towards me.
"Don't look at me, I hardly know her. I only know her from my kind's memories." I growled at this new dragon as I didn't know how this dragon survived the fall of the riders. But one thing that I know is this will change the course of our fate.
Whoever this dragon is knows who I am? She wants me dead and that will make a new enemy, one that we do not need at the moment.
