A/N: I do not own anything related to Dinosaur King. Just my OCs.

Nighttime fell over a small town near the Great Wall of China. Many people turned in for the night, so no one was there when a small leaf landed on a pile of logs used for a fire. The logs still had some heat in them, and once the leaf touched them, a fire started.

Thankfully for the townsfolk but unfortunately from the flora and fauna of the forest, the fire moved towards the forest. As trees began to be consumed by the flames, one fell over and a branch hit an egg capsule, opening it up and spilling out two cards.

The fire soon covered the cards and instead of being destroyed, they glowed red. From the red glow, a large green Carcharodontosaurus roared to the night sky.

She felt something well up inside her jaw before firing it like it was a cannon. The fireball exploded and spread the fire even more. Feeling the power, she let out a roar of victory.

At Zeta Point, Zander was helping Rod and Ed with an invention of theirs: shoes with springs inside of them. This gave the wearer the ability to bounce instead of walk.

"Wow! This is fantastic! Ha, ha, ha!" Zander said overjoyed as he continued bouncing up and down. "I love this! I'm walking on air! Can I have a pair when they're made public?!" He asked as he continued his constant bouncing. "I'll never take them off!"

Rod and Ed watched from the sidelines. "Cool, huh?" Rod asked his partner, "This has to be one of our coolest inventions yet," he gloated.

"I wouldn't know. Zander won't take them off so I can't find out," Ed replied with a depressed tone as he slumped on the log they were sitting on. Clearly, the portly man wanted a turn.

"Once its completed you run to the end of a football in less than five steps." Ed declared.

"Hey! How do I stop these crazy things! Help!" Zander cried as he began jumping away.

Ed muttered, "So much for never wanting to take them off."

"Zander, those are just a prototype!" Rod yelled back, "There's an off switch somewhere, but I can't remember where it is!"

Ed immediately had a horrified look on his face. Now he was glad those weren't on his feet.

Zander felt the same way. "What?! You mean to tell me I'm the first person to try these crazy things out?! Thanks a lot!" He cried as anime tears came out of his eyes. Soon, he began bouncing into a moss-covered elevator. "Still going!" He said as he bounced down into the room underneath, causing objects to fly outside somehow.

In another room, Ursula was busy applying her make up when Zander appeared. "Help! Ursula, help me!" He cried as he bounced right into her, causing her to face plant into the table.

When she got back up, she was angry, "Hey, watch it!" She yelled at the tall, bouncing man before she noticed her lipstick nose. She grabbed her mirror to get a better look, "Ah, style trendsetter or fashion faux pas?" she fawned over herself, "What am I saying?!" She growled before removing the lipstick and sought to catch Zander. "Snot for me!"

"Stop, Zander!" Ed yelled as he entered the room to help.

"I'd like to but I can't!" Zander replied as he kept bouncing around the room, knocking everything over in the process.

Ed and Urusla kept on continuously trying to catch Zander and stop him from making a bigger mess, only their attempts made the mess worse. "Ed, would you mind helping me catch him!?"

"I'm trying, but it's like catching an eel!" He replied.

"OK, together!" She said as they got ready to pounce Zander.

Soon the lanky man was caught mid bounce by Arthur. "Oh, thank you, Arthur! You're a lifesaver!" Zander cried as anime tears of happiness came out of his eyes and he hugged the Acrocanthosaurus.

"Uh… you're welcome?" The enhanced Createcous theropod said, unsure how to react to the affection.

It was then Dr. Z entered the room. "What is going on here! How can I rule an evil empire with all this racket?!"

"Sorry, sir. We were admiring your invention," a crushed Urusla explained underneath Ed as the result of the attempt to catch Zander being thwarted by Arthur.

"You mean my invention?" Ed asked her accusingly.

"Different creator, same results," she waved off.

Before anyone could say anything else, Rod and Laura entered the room with a blinking Alpha Scanner. "Guess what, Grandpa? There's another dinosaur," Laura said.

This immediately turned Dr. Z's sour mood into a positive one, so to speak, "Where?! Show me?!"

Soon everyone was by the large map as Rod triangulated where the signal was coming from. "It's located right by the Great Wall of China." Rod confirmed, "Did you know that's supposed to be the greatest work of architecture in the history of mankind? Pretty cool, huh?"

While the others were interested in Rod's trivia, his grandpa only growled in anger.

"Grr! How dare they try to steal the place in history that belongs to me and my Alpha Gang!" He deemed before getting a victorious smirk on his face. "When my dinosaur kingdom is finished I'll make that wall look like the pole of rubble it is!"

"That's right!" His trio answered as they saluted the doctor, Ursula currently holding Zander to keep him from bouncing.

"And just how are we going to do that?" the 'king' asked.

"By capturing dinosaurs using every dirty trick in the book." Ursula answered, pulling Zander's hair as revenge for messing up her make-up.

Suddenly, they all had a look of terror on their faces and ran out of the room for their mission. Arthur followed behind.

"I guess I'll go do my homework." Rod said nervously.

"Yeah, me too." Laura replied before they left as well.

"Huh? Was it something I said?" Dr. Z questioned by the sudden fear, more than usual.

The sound of a mop slapping into someone's hand got Dr. Z to realize why his lackeys, dino, and grandchildren left. The doctor turned to see an angry Helga.

"Doctor! Could you please tell me why the room next door is a disaster!" She demanded.

"Yes, it wasn't me, it was Zander!" He replied with the truth, probably one of the few times he admitted it.

Helga didn't buy the 'accusation.' "I don't wish to hear the blame game, Doctor! Just get over here and clean it up now!" She ordered before handing him the mop and bucket. Dr. Z sighed, he really needed to grow a backbone if he wanted to rule a kingdom.

Meanwhile, the D-Team was currently doing some excavating by a cliff near Anderson's house. Tate was currently playing chase with Cy while the rest of the dinosaurs were doing their own thing.

"Yes! I found another card capsule!" Anderson exclaimed as his team looked to the teenage Merlos coming out with a dirty, round object in his hands.

"Awesome! Now let's see which one this contains!" He said, giddy. Anderson wiped off the dirt only to uncover a blue rubber ball instead. "Oh, it's just a dumb old rubber ball." He sighed in disappointment.

"Come on, do you really think we'll be lucky enough to find more cards in this same forest?" Tiffany asked as she walked up to the brunette.

Anderson stood up to address his friend, "Since we are the only ones with this knowledge, it just happens to be our mission to collect all the cards. That way we can save the dinosaurs. Maybe you and the others could start searching too!" He told her accusingly.

Jackson chimed in, "Anderson, they're scattered all over the world. Again, it's kind of hard to believe that many others are just lying in our backyard."

With Cole, he was currently looking for anything of interest in the cliff while Cy continued running from Tate. The carno was doing his best to NOT be pounced on Tate. The t-rex is a rough player, something the 'meat-eating bull' didn't take kindly.

"Don't bite me!" Cy yelled at him.

As they continued running, Cy quickly ran right in front of Cole, causing Tate to do the same. The Latino jumped back in surprise, "Aah! Watch it!" He yelled at the two carnivores. "Cy, can you two play your game elsewhere, please?"

"I'm trying to avoid becoming someone's breakfast!" his partner answered.

"Oh, stop being such a drama queen. It's only a nibble," Tate told him.

"Yeah, sure. I bet your prey thought the same!" Cy answered sarcastically.

Anderson watched as the scene played. Granted he was happy that Tate and Cy were playing together, maybe they could play a different game. The brunette looked at the ball in his hand and thought maybe that could help. "Hey, Tate, Cy, fetch!" He yelled and tossed them the rubber ball he found.

Cy stopped running and caught the ball in his mouth gently. Finally, he was able to catch his breath.

Cole mentally thanked Anderson before returning to his digging. Almost immediately, he found something of interest. "Look at this! An ammonite!" He showed his friends as he held up the fossil. "A marine animal fossil in perfect condition! Wow!"

"You mean those tiny squid crabs?" Tony chimed in.

"Bleh! Those things always tickled my throat when I swallowed them," Simon said with disgust as the herbivores walked over.

Cy wanted to see the fossil too, so he passed the ball over to Tate and walked over to the others. Tate didn't take the hint and tossed the ball over to Cy, only for it to miss and hit Cole in the neck, causing him to drop the fossil, shattering it into pieces.

"Uh-oh," Tate said when he saw what his pass did.

"Well, there goes Squiddy," Simon simply said.

"Of course you named it," Tony sweatdropped.

Cole stared dumbfounded at the shattered fossil, ruined in seconds. He had a scorn on his face before glaring at Anderson, "I told you they were playing too hard! Now look at what you did! So much for my perfect fossil!" He yelled.

"Sorry, Cole. It was an accident," Tate apologized, which only set the carno off.

"Yeah, an accident. That's what we should say when you don't use that thick head of yours!" Cy snapped. The t-rex stepped back in surprise at the tone.

Cole just huffed to himself before picking up the pieces of the fossil. "Here, let me help," Anderson offered.

"No thanks, I can do it on my own!" the Latino snapped at him.

"Come on, Cole. I get why you're both mad at Tate, but why me? I didn't do anything wrong," Anderson defended himself.

"Exactly," Cy answered, "You did nothing."

Anderson whirled in anger towards the Carnotaurus, "What's that supposed to mean?!"

"You guys, please don't fight!" Tiffany pleaded, trying to be the peacekeeper as the two boys and their theropods glared at each other. The blonde just sighed as another inward fighting would probably affect another mission.

Jackson, Kierra, and Tyler watched the scene play out with their partners.

"This is not going to end well, is it?" Kierra spoke while her friends nodded along.

With the Alpha Gang, they were using a hang glider to travel all the way to China. "This is great!" Zander commented.

"I just wish I wasn't flying in the front," Ed sickly said, feeling nauseous.

"Trust me, Ed, I did you a favor," Ursula told him, "You really don't want to be flying behind Zander right now."

"Oh yeah? Well, you can thank Helga for serving pork and beans again. How else do you think this plane is flying," Zander smugly commented.

"Why couldn't you just put Zander in the back?" Ed asked Ursula.

"Because shut up," She said. If Zander wasn't in the way, she would have whacked Ed for that comment.

Soon they were able to see the large wall. "Hey, there it is! The Great Wall of China!" Ed confirmed.

"But do you see the dinosaur?" Ursula asked.

"The wall is over 5,000 miles long," Zander explained, "It could take months to find the dinosaur. Couldn't Dr. Z be a little more specific? Like a landmark or a sign perhaps?"

A roar from their target was the sign they needed and a flock of egrets flew away in fear. "Hey! That must be the sign we're looking for!" Ursula exclaimed, "The dinosaur must have scared those birds away," she theorized.

"This is our lucky day," she and Zander cheered.

Ed, on the other hand, took a more realistic turn in the events, "Right, our lucky day." He knew how this would turn out.

The flock of egrets flew right into the path of the hang glider and tore it up into pieces. Soon the whole thing burst and the Alpha Gang was sent falling to the ground.

"Whoa!"

At least that would have happened if they suddenly didn't start bouncing up in the air.

"Ha, ha! Good thing I thought to wear the Jumping Shoes. I knew they'd come in handy. You're welcome," Zander gloated.

Ursula was mainly in shock as to how Zander even got those things on them. "Can you turn down some of the jumps?!" Ed asked as he put a hand to calm his stomach.

Ursula soon noticed they were bouncing right into the path of a tree. "Watch out! Zander, how do you shut these things off?!" She asked him as she pointed out of the tree in front of them.

"I still haven't found the off button," Zander answered in defeat before they all crashed into a tree.

"Ow."

At the D-Lab, the Chosen Stone holders were hanging around while Cole worked on repairing his fossil. It was a difficult task as he had to make sure the pieces matched perfectly. Thankfully, Cy had sharp eyes to help.

Soon Anderson and Tate walked over and grabbed some pieces they've yet to put in. "Here, Cole, let us help you." He said as he started outing the pieces together with Tate's direction.

"That one goes there. This goes here. And that one is next to that one," Tate instructed as he simply sniffed the rocks and looked to see which ones were similar.

"I think it's looking almost perfect again already," Anderson said as he took Tate's instructions.

Both the Wind stone user and dino just stared at their stupidity. Cole took a deep breath before addressing them, "You know, Anderson, thanks for trying to help and everything, but actually you're not."

"What do you mean?" Anderson asked them both, "We're doing it the same way as you two."

Before Cole and Cy could respond, the Dino Holder started to blink.

"Another dinosaur has appeared!" Tate exclaimed. Fiona went over to her computer and looked up the coordinates.

"Where is it, Fiona?" Anderson asked.

"Looks like it's in Asia," the scientist confirmed before zooming in, "More specifically, right near the Great Wall of China." The map showed the blinking dot near an outline of the wall.

"Right," Anderson said before he and Cole ran to the teleportation pad.

"Hey, wait for us!" Tyler said as the others caught up to them.

Spencer put a hand to his chin in thought, "You realize the Great Wall of China is incredibly long. Almost twice the length of the entire Japanese archipelago. As a doctor of paleontology, I happen to have spent some time studying the mighty wall and would be more than happy to-"

Fiona interrupted, "Doctor Merlos, the children have already left."

"Whaaaaaaat?!" He cried out in response to Fiona's comment.

Pebbles' walked over to the platform the two humans were on. "Is this common?" He asked her.

"Sadly, yes. Get used to it," Fiona exparasted in her indifferent tone.

Back with the Alpha Gang, they managed to get out from the tree and were still hopping to the Great Wall. "I don't know about you guys, but I'm feeling a little jumpy," Zander said as all three slouched over, tired from all the bouncing.

"I feel like I'm gonna throw up!" Ed said, covering his mouth. All the bouncing made his stomach upset.

"Well, I'm feeling hopping mad!" Ursula yelled, "I've had enough of this bouncing around! Where's the off button, Zander?!"

"Hang on, we're almost there. I see the top from here," he assured her, "Just, think of it as a trampoline."

"I hate trampolines," Ursula groaned.

"Who are they?" Ed asked as he pointed out a group of people in front of them running and screaming for their lives.

The team landed right as the people came, running over them in the process. The trio were flattened like pancakes and covered in footprints across their bodies. "To trampoline to trampled-lean," Zander groaned in the dirt.

Soon they heard a roar and saw the dinosaur by the wall, "There it is, the dinosaur!" Ursula exclaimed before trying to identify it, "A car- a carchara- how do you pronounce that thing?!" She asked as she couldn't get the name right.

"I think it's a care-curry-cara-a-dinosaurus," Ed told her, also failing the pronunciation.

"You're both wrong. Its pronounced cara-orthodonto-saurus," Zander smugly claimed before scratching his head, "I think."

If they were any closer and saying these names, the theropod would have cooked them alive.

The teens and their partners teleported into one of the forts on the wall when they heard the roar of the dinosaur. They all ran to the window to see the carnivore. It was far away but Tiffany managed to use her goggles to get a better look.

"Wow, that's a really big one! And look at those long, razor-sharp teeth. That's a Carcharodontosaurus!" She told them.

"Those things scare me!" Simon panicked and hid behind Jackson's leg. He was too scared to do his usual imaginary words thing when there was a dinosaur.

"Aren't you typically bigger than them?" the Water Stone user realized.

"I remember them being bigger than me," Tate nervously said both nervously and excited at the challenge. "At least we beat the Alpha Gang here this time.

"Wrong! We're here, and that cara-corra-donka-saurus is ours!" Ursula yelled from somewhere. They all looked around to see where the source of the voice came from before Kierra located her.

"Oh, look, it's the old lady!" She told them as she pointed to the Alpha Gang, who were all in a sky tram.

"Stop calling me an old lady!" Ursula yelled as she squished her face against the glass while Zander and Ed backed away in fear. "Anyway, brats, this is a serious expedition the Alpha Gang is on. Not a field trip for little kids. So why don't you all pack up your lunch boxes and go back home!" She told them.

"You won't get that dinosaur before us!" Anderson declared as he and the others were running after the tram car to keep them from getting to the dinosaur first.

It didn't work as the Alpha Gang were already close enough to touch the Carcharodontosaurus and they decided to mock her name, "Care-a-carra-ortho-dontist! Curry-noodle-car-a-taurus! Whoo!" They cheered as they all struck mocking poses at the large carnivore.

They didn't realize she was walking up to their car until she was right in front of them.

The trio immediately gulped and paled in fear when they saw her so they could reach out and touch her face if stupid enough. "Mmmph! How strong do you these tram cars are?" Ursula asked.

"Probably not as strong as the jaws of that dinosaur," Ed answered.

"Don't worry, he's probably not hungry for a human being," Zander assured them before they all widened their eyes.

"But what if he's hungry for three human beings?!" They all said at the same time.

The Carcharodontosaurus soon bashed her head against the car, nearly smashing the glass completely. If it wasn't the nicknames, it was the misgendering that pissed her off.

The Alpha Gang regained their footing and tried to act tough. "Hey, pal, do you know who you're knocking around? You better prepare yourself, for we are…"

"The Alpha Gang!" They announced before the theropod rammed the car again, this time making the glass shatter and the Alpha Gang flew out. "Woah!"

They landed in her mouth, and if it wasn't for the jumping shoes, they would have been her lunch as they bounced out of her mouth and back into the tram before the 'shark-toothed lizard' snapped.

"You can thank me later for sneaking on those shoes!" Zander told them as he and the others shook with fear.

"I'll thank you now while I still can!" Ed answered.

"I'll handle this," Ursula said before shoving them aside, "Listen here, you ugly, big-headed, short-armed, dinosaur with the name that nobody can pronounce."

"Do you think this is the time to insult him!" Zander interrupted. The green theropod's eyes burned at the misgendering again.

"Butt out!" She told him before grabbing a card, "Fine. I guess I have no choice but to summon Arthur! Ha, go!" She said before swiping the card.

Zander and Ed hugged each other in fear as they realized what she just did.

"No, Ursula!"

"Please not inside the tram!"

The tram enlarged to the point of bursting. When it did, a magenta Acrocanthosaurus came out and the Alpha Gang was sent flying. "Waaah!" They screamed before they conveniently landed on their tiptoes. Zander realized something.

"I finally figured it out. The stop button is located on the toe of the shoe." He said.

"Great!" Ed and Ursula said before Arthur landed and sent his summoners flying away.

Arthur gave a roar of intimidation but the Carcharodontosaurus stood her ground. A massive fight between the two sharp-tooths was about to break out.

"You guys! I think a battle has just begun!" Tyler said as a Battlefield appeared. Everyone stopped running to see that the world has changed color again. They looked over the side of the wall to see the two carnivores roaring at each other.

"It's Arthur!" Cole grimly said.

"Aw, they beat us to the dinosaur again!" Anderson yelled in frustration. "I'm going down there." He told them before he and his dino ran down some stairs.

"Anderson, what do you think you're doing?" Cole asked him.

"We're gonna try capturing the dinosaur before they do," he replied.

"That's not a completely bad idea," Tyler said before running up with Henry in tow.

The Latino shook his head in disagreement, "It'll be faster going from the rope station above us." He pointed in the direction of said station.

"That'll take too long, and by then it might be too late!" Tate told them before Anderson's group ran down the stairs.

"It'll be to late if you take that way!" Cy yelled at them as they disappeared from sight.

"Fine, suit yourselves! Let's go, guys!" Cole told the others as they ran to their location.

Kierra took off while Jackson and Tiffany looked in both directions nervously.

"Is this way faster?" The Grass Stone asked herself.

"Well for the sake of the plot, I recommend this way," Simon added and both him and his owner took off in the direction of Cole.

"Wait up!" Tiffany called out before she went to catch up with them.

With the fight, Arthur swung his head and took a snap at the carcharo, who dodged and did same attack and ended with the same result. While the two continued snapping at each other, Anderson and Tyler made it down and outside where the battle was.

Tiffany looked over the wall to see Anderson and Tyler already at the battlefield. "Cole, hang on! It's definitely faster going Anderson's way!" She shouted.

"She's right! Let's head back!" Kierra said, she and Tony running back.

Just then, they heard a roar that sounded like one of an attack. "Uh-oh," Tiffany said as she watched the green dinosaur charge up her Fire Cannon attack and unleashed it.

"Whoa!" Arthur said as he ducked the fireball, 'This chick has the Fire Cannon Move Card?! Lucky.' He thought to himself.

The fireball continued on flying until it made contact with the Asian Wonder of the World. To make matters worse, it was right at the fort that Tiffany was in. She screamed in pain as she was knocked back and rubble fell all around her. Everyone gasped when they saw the attack explode.

"TIFFANY!" Anderson screamed in worry.

Slowly coming to, Tiffany's whole body aches in pain as she regains consciousness. She looked around to see she was surrounded by large rocks. She tried to get uo but saw her hands were trapped under a medium-sized boulder. She pulled them out and started to hear voices.

"Tiffany, are you okay?!"

"Can you hear us?!"

"Answer if you can hear me?!"

"In hindsight, this was necessary for the plot."

"Simon, what are you talking about?! This is serious!"

Tiffany looked around to see where her friends were, "Guys? Where are you?"

"We're outside the rubble," Anderson explained, "We're talking to you through the Dino Holder. Do you have it?" He asked her.

Tiffany looked around but couldn't see it, "No."

Anderson tried to think of a plan and fast. "Follow the sound of my voice, it should help you find it." He instructed her. Tiffany nodded and began to move some rocks away in order to search for it.

If she couldn't find it, she could be trapped not just in China, but under all this rubble forever.

Arthur let out a whistle at the sight of damage. "That wall is centuries old and you destroyed it," He told his opponent, "Nice job. We could really use someone like you on our team. Major will whip you into shape. And, hey, maybe even be my mate."

The Carcharodontosaurus roared in response.

"What do you mean 'prove myself'?' The acro said before realizing what she meant, "Oh, you're one of those types. Well, then, I'll make you wish you took the simple route!"

"This could be tougher than I thought," Ursula said as she watched the battle, "Obviously he has a Fire Cannon Move Card."

"I guess that means his Move Card was also inside of the capsule, right?" Ed asked. Ursula nodded in confirmation.

Zander began shaking in fear, "This battle's impossible! We don't stand a chance against him now!" He said before farting in Ursula's direction. "Oh, sorry." He said before fanning the gas away with his jacket.

"No problem," Ursula said as she covered her nose trying to keep the smelly odor out.

It failed as she soon collapsed from the gas.

"Ursula?"

On the wall, Peyton -having ran ahead with Jackson and Simon- was pawing the rubble slowly as she tried to get inside. Jackson and Simon were also trying to help. Peyton was relieved when she heard her owner's voice on the Dino Holder, even if Simon said something about the plot with her being in the rubble.

Kierra arrived before Cole came around and saw the damage. The Latino took point, "OK, guys, we got to figure out how to get inside of there somehow."

Everyone nodded seriously, even Simon despite saying how it's for the plot.

"I could dig through it," Tony offered.

"You would probably just make more rubble if you did," Kierra told her partner.

On the outer portion of the wall, Anderson was still directing Tiffany to her Dino Holder.

"I got it!" She said over the radio.

Everyone sighed in relief.

"Okay, can you tell where you are?" Jackson asked, "As in closer to the ground or wall?"

Tiffany looked around but couldn't tell where she was, "All I know is that I'm trapped."

Cole let out a sigh as this didn't help them out. The four dinos on the wall moved the rocks away with the help of their partners.

Cole communicated towards the Fire and Lightning Stone users, "Anderson, Tyler, the entrance is totally blocked. We need you to come up here and help us move the rubble away."

"Why do that when we can have Henry do it in one move?" Anderson suggested which made the foodie cringe at the idea.

"I don't think-" he began before Tate hopped onboard.

"It's perfect!"

Tyler sighed, having a possibility on how this would turn out and pressed buttons to make a nervous Henry full-sized.

Cy heard this and leapt up onto the battlement platform next to Cole, "That's dangerous! Come on up!" They told their grounded teammates.

Tate glared at them before encouraging the trike, "Don't listen to them, Three-Horns. This way will get it done in no time."

The Lightning Stone user summoned Henry to full size, not using their catchphrase, and the Triceratops landed.

"Ready to help Tiffany, Henry?" Anderson asked him. Henry just nodded -his brain going off with alarms- before walking towards the wall.

"Henry, your plan will lead to disastrous results!" Cy told him.

"He's right, Henry, stop it!"

Tyler and Henry shared a look before the Triceratops used his horns to push some of the rocks away before shoving them into the rubble pile. Tiffany screamed in pain as the cave she was in began shaking and more rocks falling everywhere. Henry heard her cries of pain and stopped immediately.

"If I continue anymore, she could be hurt!" Henry explained.

Tyler called it off, "Henry, stop!" The trike stomped in his tracks, now with his horns stuck in the rubble.

Anderson got worried again and tried to communicate with Tiffany, "Tiffany?! Tiffany?! Answer me!"

"Can you hear me?! Are you alright?!" Cole replied the same.

"I'm not sure," the Grass Stone user responded.

"What'd you mean not sure?" Peyton asked as she got more worried than before. Kierra patted her softly to ease the stress.

"Anderson! You idiot! You could have killed her! Why is it neither you or Tate think for once!" Cy yelled at the Fire Stone user.

"At least he was doing something as opposed to petty fighting," Jackson sternly said to the carno.

"What'd you mean?" Cole asked him.

"What he means," Tiffany said over the Dino Holder with an annoyed tone, "Is that you four should back off and just let me figure it out if you're going to do nothing but fight all the time. I'm sick of it!"

Anderson, Tate, Cole, and Cy's eyes all widened when they heard the words coming out of her mouth.

"She's right," Tyler added, with his arms crossed, "Even when she's in trouble, you can't put your issues from this morning aside. And now, we have a summoner in the rubble along with a stuck dino!" Henry added to this with a glare, even if he is stuck.

This made the four of them feel even worse. They were supposed to be on a mission to save a dinosaur and they were fighting so much they couldn't even save their own friend.

As the fight between Arthur and the Carcharodontosaurus continued, Anderson was the first to snap out of his train of thought. "They're right." He said with a determined look on his face. "We've got to work together. We'll stay here. You guys take care of the dinosaurs." He told Cole's group/

"I can help move the larger rocks," Tate volunteered.

"OK," Cole nodded, "Promise me you won't let anything happen to Tiffany!" He told them before turning to Cy. "Okay, Cy, let's go!" He said before getting his partner ready.

"DINO SLASH! CARNOTAURUS, BLOW THEM AWAY!"

"DINO SLASH, FLAME UP, TYRANNOSAURUS REX!"

Both carnivores materialized and went to work. Tate walked over to where Anderson and Tyler were and began slowly grabbing large rocks in his mouth. Meanwhile, Cy got into a defensive position and was ready to counter anything thrown at him.

"Great, now we have two more dinosaurs to deal with," Ursula said. Obviously, they didn't know what was really going on with them, not that they would care.

"Oh!" Zander said in frustration, "It just keeps on getting worse and worse! He told them as he put his fists in the air.

"But that Carnotaurus isn't coming anywhere near us," Ed observed.

Ursula took a closer look and saw that he was right. Cy wasn't advancing towards the battle at all. "You're right, Ed. It must be a setup of some kind." She theorized.

"It's possible that he just doesn't feel like fighting right now," Zander claimed with a bit more optimism in his voice. Hopefully, they wouldn't have to fight the brats.

"Then what's the story with the Triceratops and T-Rex over there?" Ed asked Zender, clearly not believing his theory.

"Uh, maybe he was bad and is taking a time out? And the T-Rex is breaking him out?" Zander theorized which made Ed look at him crazy.

The Carcharodontosaurus knocked Arthur towards the wall. Cy saw this and quickly stopped him from getting closer, using his body. The Carcharodontosaurus took this as an opening and began to charge up her Fire Cannon.

"Cole, you're letting the battle get too close!" Anderson warned, knowing if that move hit Tiffany would be in more danger.

"Go, Cy!" Cole instructed.

"Right!" The carnosaur replied as he charged towards the green theropod and rammed into her, causing the cannon to misfire and hit the wall more to the side. Tiffany felt the force still and held onto the rocks for dear life.

Henry bellowed in pain and Tyler began holding him, "Hang in there, Henry." He comforted his partner.

Ursula decided now was the time to use her trump card, "Now, enough of this child's play!" She declared as she pulled out a Move Card, "Blazing Spin Attack!"

Arthur breathed flames onto the Carcharodontosaurus before biting her neck. He began to spin her around three times before throwing her towards the three enemy dinos. Cy saw this and repelled the green theropod to the best of his ability. She came crashing down and Cy tried to withstand the theropod. Henry, able to see the fight, pushed against the Wind dinosaur and prevented the wild dinosaur from colliding.

The Carcharodontosaurus was still on the ground, but not severely damaged, rather tired.

Ursula growled in anger while Zander was still explaining his assumption about why the teens were not battling with Ed who was denying the claim. "This is really unfair! Four dinosaurus against my one! Go, Arthur, show them all that you rule!"

Arthur gave a loud roar and charged towards them, ready to finish the fight. Tate looked and saw the 'shark-toothed lizard' charging up another Fire Cannon. The tyrannosaur suddenly had an idea. "Cole! Use Cy's Move Card now! We can hit Arthur all at once!" He told the Latino as he grabbed the largest boulder he could find with his mouth.

Cole nodded, "Alright." He pulled out the card and slashed, "Go! Cyclone!"

A tornado began to form around Cy before it soon circled around him. Tate took this chance to throw the rock at Arthur. The arco noticed this and dodged but then failed to see Cy dashing in with Cyclone and was hit by it, followed by the Fire Cannon which sent him flying.

"Arthur!" Ursula cried as the 'high-spined lizard' flew over them.

"Triple teamed," Arthur groaned before landing and carding himself. His card, though, flew away in the wind.

"The card's flying away!" Ed exclaimed.

"Let's go! Hop to it!" Ursula told them as they literally hopped after Arthur's card.

"All right, guys!" Cole cheered before he noticed the Carcharodontosaurus getting back up. He was about to thank her but he saw a look in her eyes. She let out a roar at Cy.

"Hey, what are you doing?" Cole hastily asked. "We were just working together, remember?"

"It's not an attack, it's a test," Henry realized, "She was tasting all of us. Arthur wasn't her match but she saw how strong we were and wanted to test our strength in battle before joining our herd."

Tyler began to dig faster alongside his partner as Tate looked at the Carcharodontosaurus too. With Cole's group, Peyton, Simon, Jackson, Kierra, and Tony were digging to help out, Tony doing better as he was an expert digger. Whether it was his habit or Earth element was anyone's guess.

Within the rubble, Tiffany managed to finally locate where she was, thanks to Henry's horns sticking out. She grew a comforting smile, "Hi, Henry." She hugged the horns, "Thanks for all your help." The Grass Stone user gained a determined look on her face, "I'll work on this side too." She began moving rocks out the way to the best of her ability.

'I guess we have no choice but to fight,' Cole thought as the battle began. Cy and the Carcharodontosaurus met in a headbutt, trying to push each other back. "Good job! Hang on a little longer, Cy!" Cole encouraged his partner.

Tate stopped working for a minute and looked at the battle going on. 'She's too strong for him on his own.' The t-rex thought to himself before leaving to help the navy blue theropod.

"Tate, come back! We need you!" Anderson yelled as the Tyrannosaurus left the rubble pile.

"I'll be back!" He replied, "I just need to finish this first!" The t-rex joined the carno in headbutting the large theropod. The force from the infamous dinosaur was enough to knock the Carcharodontosaurus back a few feet from the rubble. Tate roared before charging at the Carcharodontosaurus who quickly got up and sidestepped to get out of the way. The 'tyrant lizard' swung his tail at the 'shark-toothed lizard' hoping to catch her off guard, only for her to dodge it before proceeding to bite her tail but missed as she tried to do the same thing.

The green carnivore looked behind her and saw Cy heading her way. She knocked him back with her tail which made the carnosaur go sailing until Tate stopped him with his head. Had the 'meat eating bull' gone further he would have been closer to the rubble.

"We need to close this battle up now before she attacks again." Cy declared.

"I have an idea." Tate said before explaining it.

At the same time, Anderson and Cole realized the same thing. "Cole, we're letting the battle get too close. We need to use our Move Cards now!" He told the Latino.

Cole hesitantly raised his Move Card above his Dino Holder. But a thought made him wary of the choice. "But I'm not sure. What if it backfires?"

"You want me to do what?!" Cy exclaimed while the teenagers were still talking, "You don't know what will happen! I don't even know how that can work! It's basically suicide!"

"You don't know that," Tate replied, "Look, Cy, right there," he gestured with his head towards their opponent, "Is super powerful. We need to hit her with everything we got or Tiffany could be seriously hurt. We should at least try."

"Tiffany's in danger! Hurry up!" Anderson said, trying to inspire Cole and drew his Move Card.

Cole took a deep breath, understanding what needed to be done, "Ok. I know we haven't been together long, but this is the most important battle we've been in so far. This is just a taste of what could come."

"We need you, Cy/Tate," both boys said before swiping their Move Cards together. "Cyclone/Volcano Burst!"

Both partners glowed red and white respectively before they unleashed their attacks. The wind began circling Cy while Tate gathered fire from his jaw. The t-rex waved his head around before unleashing the fire right onto Cy.

Much to everyone's horror, except Simon.

"Tate!"

"Oh my god!"

"What did you do?!"

"All over a fossil?!"

"It's for the plot."

"Simon, I swear if you mention that one more time!"

"It's fine." Cy told them when the flames died down to reveal what had happened.

The Cyclone was still intact but the wind was now mixed with fire as well. Cy took a moment to see what Tate's move had done. "What'd you know? Tate's plan worked!" The Carnotaurus said to himself before turning to the Carcharodontosaurus. After getting over her shock, she began to charge up another Fire Cannon.

Cy, being analytical, realized something, "That mouth of her is definitely her greatest strength," he charged forward, "But since it's such a large target, it can also be her biggest weakness!" He exclaimed before attacking her in the jaw, making her swallow her fireball.

The Carcharodontosaurus moaned in pain and collapsed on the ground before glowing red and returning to her card.

"Yes!" Tate cheered, "Who's the apex now?!"

Cy rolled his eyes before turning his attention to more important matters, "How's Tiffany?"

After removing a few more rocks, Tiffany was able to see the light of the sun. The rocks outside moved out of the way more and soon a small hole was formed. Peyton popped her head in and had tears form in her eyes. "Tiffany!"

"Peyton!" Tiffany replied with tears forming in her eyes too.

More rocks moved out of the way as Tyler, Anderson, Jackson, Cole, and Kierra made the hole large enough for them to fit in.

"Hey? Are you OK?" Anderson asked her. Tiffany nodded to let them know she was fine. "Here, take my hand."

"No, mine," Cole interrupted.

"Come on, guys," Tiffany said with a smile, "No fighting. We're a team." She said before she grabbed both of their hands and let them both pull her out of the rubble.

"All right, guys, we're good," Anderson said as he, Tyler and Cole recalled their dinosaurs. Once Henry was recalled, the rocks he was holding up collapsed and covered the hole completely.

Anderson grabbed both cards in his hands and looked at them with pride, "A Carcharodontosaurus card and the Fire Cannon Move Card," he said before petting Cy. "You did it, Cy. Thanks to you, everyone is safe."

"It was honestly nothing," the Carnotaurus replied, enjoying Anderson's touch. The brunette then stood up and handed the cards to Cole.

"Cole, these belong to you," he said, handing the cards over.

Cole took the cards and smiled in response, "Thanks. But it wasn't just me and Cy. You and Tate helped a lot as well."

"And the conflict is resolved," Simon smugly said.

"See how teamwork can lead to victory?" Tiffany said with a smile as she and the others saw that the four of them strengthened their bonds from this mission.

"Just like I always say, teamwork," Anderson added while rubbing his nose smugly. The girls, Tyler, and Jackson rolled their eyes.

"So, Cole, what are you going to name her?" Henry asked.

Cole thought about it for a second, "Well, I was thinking of naming her Chloe."

The idiotic trio (again, not those three), they were having trouble with their own dinosaur.

"Would you guys do something?!" Ursula yelled at her teammates, "If you think I'm going to return to Dr. Z without the dinosaur and without Arthur, you can forget it!"

Sure enough, Arthur's card was stuck on a tree branch, out of reach from them even with their jumping shoes.

"I can only stretch so far," Zander told her, "And jump so high!" He suddenly got a lightbulb to go off. "Wait, I have an idea!" He said before jumping to the sides. He soon began bouncing straight up and down repeatedly to build up momentum before giving on the last bounce high into the sky. "Aah!" He yelled as he skyrocketed up.

Ursula and Ed just watched as Zander disappeared. "I've heard of going out on a limb, but that's ridiculous," the greenette commented.

Ed agreed but still liked the idea, "Come on! Let's try it, too!" He said as he grabbed Ursula's hand and tried the same tactic Zander used and skyrocketed high up into the sky. Ursula winced as she flew through the trees. When she came out of the trees, she saw Arthur's card was on her lips.

"Hey, Ursula, you did it!" Ed cheered as he noticed the card in her mouth.

"Nice catch!" Zander commented as he looked behind him.

"Thanks," Ursula said as she took the card from her mouth.

"Hey, traveling like this is better than that airplane," Ed commented as he began enjoying the bouncing.

"Yeah, we're not as big a target for low flying birds," Zander added.

He jinxed them as the trio was swarmed by another flock of egrets.

Next time on Dinosaur King: Paleontology Unearthed:

Tiffany: I'm stressed out!

Jackson: Calm down and relax.

Simon: We should have a team name!

Ursula: Yours truly has a magnificent singing voice~

(A Lambeosaurus stares down Peyton, the hadrosaurs roaring at each other)

Another chapter done. Next one will be an original chapter with a Tiffany-centric story as you can tell. Again, I am changing the Maiasaura episode to a Lambeosaurus episode as I have a different route for the purple hadrosaur.

On a related note, does anyone have any good suggestions for the Lambeosaurus location? I have been thinking about putting him in a jungle or a place with songbirds. PM me with suggestions.

Anonymous: I like your move suggestion ideas. I will keep them in mind and credit you if I consider those.
