Rise of the Grandmasters Episode 15: Team Treasure Tango Part 4

The brawl of the Sol Emerald begins, Team Dark, the Hooligans, the Babylon Rogues, and the Freedom Fighters are going out. Well, excluding Cosmo, Cream and Cheese, and Maria. Blaze uses her fire powers, Amy has her hammer, Omega uses his firearms. Shadow uses his Chaos Spear, the Babylon Rogues have their Extreme Gears. Rouge is flying in the air. And the Hooligans are doing their best to keep up.

Meanwhile, Cream and Cheese, Cosmo, and Maria are forced to watch to see the brawl going on.

"Oh, this has gotten out of control! I know mother would not approve of us getting involved like this," Cream says.

"Chao…" Cheese says.

Cosmo turns to see Amy using her hammer to block the Chaos Spear.

"Amy is doing her best, but… she's outnumbered. And yet, she still fights so bravely," Cosmo says.

Then Maria turns to see Blaze using her fire power to attack Wave.

"... and we promised Blaze that we'd retrieve her Sol Emerald to save her world," Maria says.

"You're right. It may be scary, and it may not be proper, but it's the right thing to do!" Cream says.

Then says, "Come on, guys!"

"Chao Chao!" Cheese calls out.

With that, Maria, Cosmo, Cream and Cheese charge to help with the fight. Amy continues to fight against anyone in her way, but unaware that Nack is sneaking behind her holding a blaster.

He holds it up and says, "I owe you for that migraine, toots…"

"Amy! Look out!" Cream's voice interrupts.

Before he can blast her, Cream stomps her feet on Nack's head as Cheese and Maria grab the blaster. Amy turns to see that her friends have come to rescue her from danger.

"Great timing, girls!" Amy says.

Then says, "C'mon, we need to regroup!"

With that, the girls and Cheese follow Amy. Blaze is busy fighting Bark with her fire powers.

Amy calls out, "Blaze! Form up! We need a plan!"

With that, Blaze pushes Bark away with her fire power. Then creates a firewall around them. Using a lot of her power makes Blaze feel drained.

Blaze turns to the girls, "I'm sorry you're involved in this madness, girls. Leave me. It's my fight. You should get to safety.

But Amy says, "How many times do I have to say it? We're in this together!"

"We started this as a team, and we will finish it as such," Cream says.

Cheese nods in agreement.

"I agree. We can't leave you to do this alone," Cosmo adds.

"Let us help you," Maria says.

Blaze smiles and says, "Thank you, girls. I will not forget this!"

"Save the mushy stuff for later. Keep each other safe and don't let the Emerald get away!" Amy says.

The five girls including Cheese place their hand on top of each other's hand in a circle.

Then Amy shouts, "LET'S GO, LADIES!"

The girls charge to join in the battle field. Amy helps Maria get through and is able to see Shadow fighting Bean.

Maria calls out, "Shadow!"

Shadow turns as he punches Bean and asks, "Maria, what are you doing here? It's dangerous."

"You don't need to worry. I… I think I can handle it…" Maria says.

"Really?" Shadow question.

"Yes. I am. And well, I want to talk to you about Blaze's Sol Emerald. I… I understand that you're trying to save Mobius, and even though you're doing it for G.U.N's mission, but Blaze really needs it to save her world. Without it, It might be destroyed," Maria explains.

Then Amy cuts in, "I think what Maria is trying to say is, that you need to decide now! Are you just gonna do whatever G.U.N tells you to do… or are you going to help Blaze save her entire world?"

Hearing both girls, Shadow is thinking of what to do about it. He knows it's his mission, but Blaze really needs it before her world is destroyed. Meanwhile, the Babylon Rogues: Jet and Storm are in the air to see if the fight isn't getting them anywhere.

Storm rubs his head, "This job ain't fun anymore!"

"Yeah, so much for that 'quick buck.' It's time we stopped being brawlers…" Jet says.

He swooshes down and knocks Nack down and grabs the Sol Emerald, "... And did what do we best! We're outta here, Rogues!"

Amy, Maria, and Shadow turn to see Jet now has the emerald.

Shadow then chases after them, "It's decided, then…"

Shadow continues to chase Jet. Jet looks down to see Shadow is close behind.

"Ha!" You're slower than that Snail Sonic!" Jet says, and sticks his tongue out at him.

Shadow then says, "Chaos…"

"Control!" And Shadow appears on Jet's Extreme Gear.

Jet exclaims in shock, "Whaji… huh?!"

Then Shadow kicks Jet off the Extreme Gear and says, "Whoops, you're too slow!."

Shadow then uses the Jet to land on the ground and hopes off.

Then he says with a smirk, "Hmph. All too easy."

Just then, Wave and Storm are riding right towards Shadow.

"Nobody messes with the boss!" Storm says.

"We might not hurt you if…" Wave says.

But are interrupted when Rouge kicks Wave on the back of her head, and Cosmo and Cream land on storm.

Cream says, "My apologies."

And both Extreme Gears hit Shadow on the head and his wrist, making the Sol Emerald go flying.

Seeing the emerald flying, Bark and Omega try to catch it.

"I got it! I got it!"

But Amy gets on both hands and grabs the Emerald, "Guess again!"

"Foul interference!" Omega says, and grabs Amy by her ankle before she can get away.

But Amy throws the Emerald and calls out, "Blaze, catch!"

With that, Blaze quickly grabs the Emerald.

But Bean has a light up bomb and throws it, "I've got something else for ya!"

But Blaze turns around and says, "You forgot. I control flames. I create them…"

Then with a snap of her fingers, the fire on the fuse disappears and lands on the ground.

"And end them!" Blaze adds.

Seeing the fuse out, Bean is in shock, "... Bomb? Bombikins? Little Bombinski?"

Bean kneels down and picks on the bomb on his knees, "What… What did she do to you? You were meant for such great things and now…"

He then hugs the bomb, "You were going to go 'bomb!' There was going to be fire and smoke and everything!"

Then looks at the bomb, "But all you did was 'thud' it shouldn't have ended like this. Not like this."

Then shed tears, "It's all my fault! I threw you into the world before you were ready!"

"I had no way of knowing, since you can't speak, but now I'm just making excuses!" Bean adds, dramatically.

Then has the bomb close to him, "I will always remember you, and name you Cecil, or Abigail."

He then wonders, "No, it's got to be something gender-neutral. Jamie, maybe? Kendall?"

And while Bean's in despair, Rouge chases Blaze to get the Emerald. Rouge is able to take it, but Blaze begins attacking her with fire. Somehow Nack takes it, but is chased by Omega. Then Jet grabs the Sol Emerald, but Amy slams her hammer on his gear and sends him flying. Then Bark punches him on the beak. Then the group begins fighting each other.

Soon enough, Rouge is starting to get tired and is panting from exhaustion, "This is ludicrous. Nobody's going to win…"

Amy approaches her and says, "Think you can work with us for a full five minutes without stabbing us in the back?"

"You just don't learn, do you? Why come back to me?" Rouge questions.

"The others are just punks in the way, and Maria and I know Shadow will do the ring thing when we're done," Amy says.

"Is that so?" Rouge questions.

Then presents her hand to Amy, "Alright, honey. What's the plan?"

Amy takes Rouge's hand and says, "We'll really our teams, corral the bad guys… and Blaze will handle the rest." Then hurries off to join the others.

Rouge flies off and says, "All right, boys! Let's get ready for a barbecue!"

With that, Team Dark deals with the Babylon Rogues.

Rouge flies at Wave.

Annoyed, Wave shouts, "Hey! It's a big sky! Give me some space!"

But Rouge laughs, "Hahaha! Not a chance!"

Then Shadow and Jet are having a battle of their own. Jet tries to attack Shadow, but he keeps using his Chaos Control to move around.

Jet angrily shouts, "Quit it with the teleporting!"

Finally, Omega and Shadow are pushing each other with their hands for support and push at each other..

"Puny airboards are no match for raw rocket power!" Omega says.

Finally, Rouge is able to knock Wave off her gear.

Wave screams, "Someone catch me!"

But she ends up falling on Jet and Storm, and they all fall to the ground. Meanwhile, Amy is trying to attack Nack.

"I was able to take down Sonic and his sister! More than once! Why do you give me such a hard time!" Nack panics as he tries to blast Amy.

Amy uses her hammer to repel the attack, "Oh stop whining. Sally didn't hit you that hard!"

Unknown to him, Maria is behind her and is able to shout, "Cha-Chaos spear!"

Then fires it at Nack, which is quickly dodge.

Blaze then uses her fire power at Bark, "Back! Back! Join the other vermin!"

Finally, Cream, Cheese, and Cosmo escort Bean.

"Right this way, Mr. Duck. We're going to meet with your friends," Cream says.

"Yes, Jaime-Kendall Duckingtonworth III would've liked that…" Bean sadly says.

"I'm sure he would," Cosmo replies, even though it's the name of a bomb.

Soon enough, all of the Babylon Rogues and the Hooligans are gathered in one group.

Nack turns to wonder, "Wait… what's going on?"

Seeing everyone gather Amy turns to Blaze with a smile, "Now, your highness, as we planned."

"Of course, Ms Rose," Blaze says, and snaps her fingers.

With that, the bomb lights up and the fuse is heading to the bomb.

Seeing it, Bean is happy, "J.K! You came back!"

Once the smoke disappears, everyone's faces are covered with ashes and their faces covered in black smoke and such.

Jet coughs and says, "Okay, lets…"

But Wave angrily intervenes, "No! No more! We're going before they blow up the blimp too!"

"I'm the boss and I… Ow!" Jet says, but Wave grabs him by the feathers on his head and drags him away

Wave pulls him away as she scolds them, "Do you know how long it'll take to fix the Extreme Gears?! You think it's easy maintaining them when you lunk-heads using them so roughly?! AND ANOTHER THING…!"

Wave continues to pull Jet away as Storm picks up the Extreme Gears and follows.

Bark picks up Nack who is knocked out, and turns to Bean.

Bean says, "I can't feel my hands."

Then Bark walks away.

"We're going now? That sounds good," Bean says, and follows Bark who is carrying the unconscious weasel.

It might be good for Bean, but not so for everyone else. In fact, the bomb explodes. Then the Sol Emerald flies out of their grasp. Blaze opens her hand and the emerald lands on it.

Once everyone is gone, it's just the Freedom Fighters and Team Dark.

"All's well that ends well!" Cream says.

"I was going to say 'good riddance to bad rubbish,' but your way is nicer," Amy says.

"And we manage to get the Sol Emerald back," Maria says.

"Not bad ladies. And speaking of Emerald…" Rouge says.

Then holds her hand out to Blaze, "... Hand over the gemstone."

Blaze becomes defensive of the emerald and Amy is ready with her hammer if Rouge tries something.

"Oh would you just give up already?" Amy angrily asks.

But Shadow grabs Rouge by the shoulder and says, "Enough."

"What?" Rouge asks, confused.

Then Shadow says, "G.U.N owes Blaze as a favor for the Chaos Emerald."

He crosses his arms and says, "More importantly, the safety of a world outweighs our mission."

"I don't just walk away from a gem!" Rouge angrily says.

But Shadow is not backing down, "You will let this go, or I will make you."

Then Omega walks over with Maria, Cream, and Cheese on his shoulders.

"We will make you! I will not make the tiny bunny cry!" Omega says.

Seeing she is outnumbered, Rouge crosses her arms and says, "Fine. But I'm not a 'good loser.'"
"Duly noted," Shadow says.

Amy then turns to Omega and says, "Alright girls, off the robot now."

"Aww… goodbye, Mr. Robot," Cream says.

Maria climbs off and says, "Goodbye Omega."

"Goodbye, fuzzy, soft-colored females," Omega says.

Says to Blaze, looking a bit embarrassed, "And er… Blaze?"

"Yes?" Blaze asks.

"You burn things very well. I-must-go-now-goodbye!" Omega says.

Then follows Rouge and Shadow as they leave.

"So, smart guy, what do we tell the commander?" Rouge asks.

"You're the cunning spy. You'll think of something," Shadow says.

Maria happily waves, "Bye Shadow. Hope you'll come back to visit."

Blaze smiles and says, "So Shadow helped me after all. Perhaps he isn't so bad."

"He's no Sonic, or Eve, but he'll do in a pinch," Amy says.

Blaze turns to the girls and says, "Thank you all for helping. Sonic, Eve, Tails, and even Cosmo spoke of the Heroism of the Freedom Fighters, and you've proved every word of it true."

"My pleasure Blaze. We'll have to kick butt together again someday!" Amy says.

Cream hugs Blaze and says, "I'll miss you, Blaze! Come visit us soon!"

Maria and Cosmo hug Blaze too.

"We'll miss you too," Maria says.

"Me too," Cosmo says.

Blaze giggles and hugs the girls, "As soon as my quest is over, you all will be the first to hear from me."

She then lets go of the girls and holds the Sol Emeralds she still has and says. "Now to see if I can get home without running afoul of the Zone Cops…"

Blaze then uses the flames to surround herself with a tornado of fire and soon disappears to continue searching for what remains of the Sol Emerald.

Later in the evening at Freedom HQ, Amy and the girls are having tea with Vanilla and Galaxina.

"And since we were so very far away, it took us the rest of the afternoon to walk back," Cream says.

Cosmo giggles and says, "It was quite the adventure."

Vanilla giggles and says, "Yes. Far more than a simple investigation."

"It was a little more involved than I expected, but Cream, Cosmo, and Maria handled themselves very well. You all proved more that you all make great Freedom Fighters and…" Amy says.

But hits herself in the head on her hand with realization, "I'm so stupid!"

"What is it, Amy?" Maria asks.

"I forgot about Nicole!" Amy says, frustrated with herself.

Indeed Amy forgot about Nicole, she's still back in the root cocoon in the middle of the Great Forest. Nicole sighs in reply and doesn't know when Amy and the others will be back.
