Hedgehogs Colors Saga Episode 1: Dr Eggman's Mysterious Space Amusement Park
One day, in outer space above Mobius, Dr. Eggman has something going on. He has built a special space station that is actually an amusement park. The park is also connected to five planets but with chains. There are a lot of lights at the park, and actually has some Mobians on it. Among them, Sonic and Eve the Hedgehog, along with Maria the Hedgehog, Tails Prower, and Jazz the Chao are walking into the park themselves to see the center of the theme park.
As they walk in, they hear Dr. Eggman's voice on the speaker, "Welcome to Eggman's Incredible Interstellar Amusement Park, where you can enjoy five planets for the price of one!"
"He loves to hear his own lips flap, but I gotta hand it to the Eggster, this place is epic. Everyone and their brother is gonna want to come here," Sonic says.
"No doubt but now I'm not sure why we're here? This place looks totally harmless," Tails says.
Eve sighs and says, "Trust me Tails, with Eggman, nothing seems harmless as it appears to be."
"I'm with you on this one, sis. Eggman plus secretly built amusement park equals evil plot for us to foil. Lucky for us he's not very good at keeping things hidden," Sonic says.
"True, it would be pretty hard to miss a giant floating space amusement park surrounded by planets. Still, an evil plot? I don't know, "Tails says.
Soon the four come to a stop, and can see Mobius from below the space amusement park.
"Wow!" Sonic, Tails and Eve reply, amazed.
"Chao," Jazz replies.
"It's so pretty," Maria says.
"Plot or not, you can't be mad at this view. This place is takin' beauty to the next level," Sonic says.
Then turns to Tails, "I'm just surprised that it was so easy to sneak in here."
"Umm, I wouldn't say it was that easy," Tails says, reluctantly.
"Easy or not, we are here for a reason," Eve says.
Flashback:
Sometime ago, There is a very very tall elevator that was connected to the amusement park in question. There are also cars that will take them up to the location known as the Tropical Resort, part of Eggman's amusement park.
Eggman's voice appears on the speaker, "Hello, happy people! Buckle up, as Eggman's Ultra-Accelerating Space Elevator whisks you to an interplanetary wonderland of fun!"
In one of the cars, Sonic, Eve, Tails, Maria, and Jazz are inside, riding it to the park.
"I can't believe somebody was dumb enough to leave the keys in this thing! It's like Eggman's begging us to sneak in and trash the place," Sonic says.
"M-m-man, this thing's got c-c-crazy fast acceleration!" Tails says, amazed.
"Hmph! You call this fast?" Sonic comments.
Maria looks outside the window and says, "Wow. We're really going high up. I wonder if we can see the ARK from up here."
"Chao Chao," Jazz says.
"Well, we won't know until we get up there," Eve says.
Eggman's voice appears on the speaker again, "This amusement park has been constructed entirely out of a sense of remorse for my past transgressions and is in no way associated with any sort of evil plot or premeditated misdeeds."
"Well, that's a relief!" Sonic says, sarcastically.
The elevator continues to carry the five up the elevator up to the amusement park.
Flashback Ends:
Eve turns to the others, "Still, we're here to find out if Eggman is up to anything suspicious."
"I remember sis. Trust me, nothing seems normal when it comes to what Eggman has built, and has his name on it 'literally,'" Sonic says.
Tails begins to feel dizzy, and holds his head with his hand, "Ugh, just thinking about it makes my head feel like it wants to…"
Suddenly, they hear loud crashing sounds, making Tail react, "Huh?"
Everyone hears the noise too and is confused by it.
"What was that?" Maria asks, hearing the noise.
Jazz notices, "Chao Chao."
Sonic, Eve and the others hurry back to the entryway to notice two suspicious looking robots are chasing a white alien and two cyan colored aliens.
The first robot is a diminutive robot with a round head composed of a semi-spherical cap with a smaller black semi sphere under it for a lower face. His lower face can separate to reveal a cover, representing his mouth, and he has two gray-framed and pupil-less eyes. He also has a ball joint for a chest and red gloves for hands. His arms and back consist of two thin bars that are joined by a ball joint. His lower body is a small semi sphere with a gray inside and a ball joint connecting it to his back. He also has a red head cap and light blue eyes and mouth, while the rest of him is black and gray with a few red joints. The robot is Orbot, one of Eggman's creations.
The second robot is named Cubot. A diminutive robot, but slightly taller than Orbot. He has a black square head with a flatten, yet wider yellow square cap on top and a larger black square on the bottom, the latter which resembles a jaw. His jaw can separate from his head to reveal a light blue cover resembling a mouth. He also has two gray-framed and pupil-less light blue eyes. His chest consists of a smaller yellow cube and he has yellow gloves for hands. His arms and back consist each of two thin gray bars that are joined by a black and yellow ball joint. His lower body is a black open cube with a gray inside and a ball joint connecting it to his back.
Cubot shouts in a cowboy accent, "Yee haw! Git along, li'l aliens!" and chases the alien with a net.
Holding a blaster and following after Cubot, Orbot says, "Your voice chip is stuck on cowboy again! Stop talking and net those aliens!"
"You got it, partner!" Cubot says.
And begins to chase after the aliens as he calls out, "Come on here, you little varmints, come back here! I'm gonna get you! Hey, come here! I gotcha! I gotcha!"
Meanwhile, Orbot is meaninglessly shooting around the aliens before giving up, leaving Cubot alone. But known to them, Sonic and Eve are seeing what's going on.
"Hey, those robots are chasing those aliens," Eve says.
"I'm not sure what's goin' on, but I'm sure on what I'm gonna do!" Sonic says.
Then turns to Eve, "You're thinking what I'm thinking?"
"We go there, rescue the aliens, and leave those two robots in the dust?" Eve questions.
Sonic smirks, "Speaking my language."
With that, Sonic and Eve jump off the walkway where the aliens and the robots are. The two hedgehogs rescue the aliens in time before Cubot catches them in his net.
"Huh!?" Cubot reacts, knowing they're gone.
After rescuing the three aliens, Sonic and Eve are at a platform above the gateways.
Eve turns to the aliens and asks, "Are you okay little guys?"
The aliens chatter and circle around the two hedgehogs in gratitude.
"Glad to see they're alright," Sonic says.
"I wonder who those robots are?" Eve wonders.
"They sure don't look smart… must be Eggman's goons," Sonic suspects.
"That's true," Eve says.
Just then, the two cyan aliens circle around Sonic and Eve. Each one close to one of the hedgehogs.
The two cyan aliens have two permanently narrowed orange eyes. They possess three tentacles stemming from their heads, one of which is shaped like a lightning bolt. They also have a spike-shaped structure pointed backwards, sticking out from their heads.
"What's going on?" Sonic wonders.
"I'm not sure, bro," Eve replies.
Just then, each of the cyan aliens phases into Sonic and Eve's body as they glow a cyan color light. And each of them are launched into a different direction. Just then, Tails, Maria, and Jazz arrive.
Tails looks around as he says, "I could have sworn they went this way."
"I thought so too. Where could they have gone off to?" Maria replies, looking around.
"Chao Chao," Jazz replies.
Just then, the small white aliens float up to them. The white alien has a basic shape of a sphere with three tentacles, two of which are used as arms. He has one pink eye in the center of his head, and two very alien-like antennae on top of his head. This one also has a strand of curly blue 'hair' on its head between its antennae.
The alien continues to talk at top speed but Tails, Maria, and Jazz are showing confused looks on their faces.
Jazz flies up to them and tries to talk to the alien, "Chao Chao. Chao Chao Chao. Chao. Chao Chao Chao."
The alien begins to talk to Jazz in a panic, it looks very scared.
Maria asks, "Jazz, can you understand him?"
Jazz flies to Maria and answers, "Chao Chao. Chao Chao Chao Chao." And shakes her head.
"Jazz doesn't understand what he's saying either," Maria says.
Tails begins to think and says, "I might have an idea."
Tails then takes out what looks like a computer pad. The computer pad's appearance is that of a wide yellow rectangle, with two cyan-glowing antennas on top, a touchscreen in the middle and some directional pads beside the screen.
"What's that?" Maria asks.
"This is a computer pad I invented. It's called the Miles Electric, a portable computer. It has video communication, radar operation for detecting hostile targets, as well as an interface with the Tornado-1, and other stuff," Tails explains.
Then brings out a wrench, "I think I can use it to install a translator so we can understand him."
Then begins to work on his machine, "It will take me a little time, but I think I can have it installed in no time."
"That sounds amazing," Maria says.
"Thanks," Tails says.
Then begins to wonder, "I wonder where Sonic and Eve disappeared to."
Meanwhile, Sonic is having the time of his life. Since he's been fused with the strange cyan like alien, he's been bouncing back and forth. Soon, Eve is able to find herself meeting Sonic as she performs the same moves.
Sonic calls out, "I don't know how or why, but I'm so enjoying this!"
"This is so cool!" Eve says, excited.
"Hey sis, look what I can do!" Sonic says.
He then flies down and with the strange ability from the alien, uses it to knock down some of Eggman's robots who are close by, and they don't look like they're used for entertainment.
"And look at this," Eve says.
Eve then uses the powers to bounce upwards on the wall, and then flies back down. Then knock down some of Eggman's robots.
"Alright, this is way past cool!" Sonic says.
"Yeah, but we better find the others. They'll want to hear about this," Eve says.
With that, Sonic and Eve continue to use the strange powers to return back to the others.
Meanwhile back at the Tropical Resort walkway, Tails is still making some adjustments to his Miles Electric as Maria and Jazz watches and the white alien floating around.
Tails continues adjusting the machine and says, "Hmm. Now, let me see. Gotta connect the framistatic capacitor to the maximizing modulationzor…"
Soon, the alien continues talking, but in an incomprehensible language.
Tails turns to the alien and says, "I wish I knew what you were saying, little guy. Or gal. Or whatever you are."
Just then, Sonic and Eve blast through in the strange energy and they soon stop and change back to normal in front of the others. Soon, the two aliens exist from the hedgehogs' body.
Surprised and excited, Sonic shouts, "Oh man! That... was... CRAZY!"
"Hi Sonic. Eve. Where did you disappear to?" Maria asks.
"Yeah. did you go somewhere?" Tails adds.
"Didn't you see? We absorbed those aliens and got powered up with, like, some kind of wild energy! And after a few seconds they'd pop outta us!" Sonic explains.
"I find that hard to believe," Tails says.
"It's true tails. I mean, Sonic and I have been super charged before, but this is a whole different level. It's like when we absorbed those aliens, we got some strange energy that turned into new powers," Eve explains.
Then Sonic says, "Yeah! We were bouncing all over the place with those cyan aliens!"
"That sounds amazing," Maria says.
"It was. Had to be there," Sonic says.
Eve then notices Tails adjusting his small machine and asks, "What are you doing there, Tails?"
"I was reconfiguring my hand-held into a translator so we can understand this guy," Tails says, turning to the white alien.
Just then, the white alien interrupts the conversation and continues babbling, like it's in a panic.
"Uh, I have no clue what it's saying," Sonic says.
"I don't either, but I'm clearly upset about something," Eve says.
Then crosses her arms, "And I think Eggman has something to do with it."
"Agree sis. This is serious," Sonic says.
Then says, "We need to find Eggman and figure out catching these aliens fits into whatever heinous plan he's hatching."
"And wreck that plan, right?" Tails questions.
"Yep. That's pretty much how we spend our time," Sonic says.
"A little too much if you ask me," Eve says.
Maria then asks, "But um, how are we going to find Eggman? He can be anywhere in the park."
"Well, our only bet is to search around the park until we find him," Sonic says.
Eve turns to Maria, "Maria, you and Jazz stay with Tails and our little alien friend. Sonic and I will go search for Eggman."
"Okay," Maria says.
Sonic and Eve then take off to find Dr. Eggman, while the others remain behind with their new alien friend. Sonic and Eve soon begins to search around the park to find Dr. Eggman and figure out what he is planning. Sonic and Eve search around with their super speed. Just then, they notice some robots carrying red and clear containers with more aliens inside. Having the same idea, Sonic and Eve use their spin dash to free the aliens who are imprisoned by Eggman's robots. As they free some of the aliens, the cyan color aliens agree to help them. Apparently, they allow Sonic and Eve to use their energy to turn to cyan lights and launch themselves. That causes them to bounce off the wall and also beat any robot that they come across.
Meanwhile, in another part of the Tropical Resort, Dr. Eggman is counting the aliens that are trapped in the containment capsules as Orbot and Cubot watch.
He counts the capsules one by one, "...twenty-three, twenty-four, twenty-five…"
Then grows frustrated, "Bah! Not nearly enough aliens!"
Orbot floats over and asks, "Want us to get more?"
"No, I want you to get me a cheeseburger and a shake," Eggman sarcastically asks.
Cubot says, sounding like a cowboy again, "That'll be easier. Cheeseburgers don't run as fast as them l'il alien varmints."
Orbot then places his hand on his head as he looks, a bit annoyed.
Eggman angrily says, "IDIOT! Get me more aliens!"
Orbot quickly leaves as Cubot grumbles to himself.
He turns around and asks, "Y'all want fries with that?"
Eggman responds by throwing a wrench at him, and it strikes him at the face.
Cubot reacts, "OHH...! I reckon' that hurt a bit..."
Then wanders off in one direction, but quickly turns around, "Wait a minute! I need to go over yonder! Heh, sorry." And hovers off.
Eggman then looks at the aliens and says with pride, "Hmm... Precious little aliens! I'll harness their Hyper-go-on power and then nothing will stop me! I know, I say that every time, but this time, really, nothing will stop me!"
Just then, Orbot knocks on Eggman's Eggmobile and points in concern, "Eh, boss?"
"What?" Eggman asks, turning around to the robot's direction.
He soon spots in shock, "SONIC AND EVE!?"
"Who you calling "nothin'?" Sonic questions in remark.
Sonic then turns around and spanks his posterior in a mocking way as Eve chuckles.
Cubot is confused by the remark, "Huh?"
Then Orbot explains, "He means since the boss said "nothing will stop me" and Sonic and Eve here are going to stop him, it's like the boss was calling Sonic and Eve, "nothing'."
"Great! I thought nobody would get that," Sonic says.
"Yeah. Guess he's a little smarter than any of Eggman's other robots, "Eve says in remark.
Not taking chances, Eggman says, "Fine! You're so smart. robot, you take care of this mess! Release the Big Boy! At least I know he won't screw it up!"
He then closes the Eggmobile window and says, "Hasta la bye bye, suckers!" and flies away, leaving Orbot behind.
Orbot quickly goes after him, "Wait! Wait for me!"
Just then, a giant Ferris Wheel appears. Within it, is the robot known as Rotatatrom. It resembles a large mechanical monstrosity with a red-colored body. It has a large yellow eye with a cyan iris. Its face plate has two sets of four triangular covers (each colored blue and magenta), which resembles a stylized sun when opened. Rotataron also has a pair of hands connected by a grey appendage. Each of its hands is armed with razor-sharp claws.
"Guess it's time for us to start stopping," Sonic says.
Eve then brings out her sword, "This is starting to get interesting."
With that, Sonic and Eve jump up to battle the robot. Sonic bounces off of Cubot's head in the process.
Soon, Cubot realizes the joke. "I git it!"
Soon, Cubot leaves the scene to go find some more aliens.
At the giant Ferris Wheel where the Rotataron is, Sonic and Eve find themselves standing on the wheel of the Ferris Wheel.
Eve looks up to see the robot's eye, "Chances are that the weak spot of this robot is at the eye."
"Seems too easy," Sonic says.
Just then, the Rotataron begins to throw red shurikens at Sonic and Eve.
"Incoming!" Sonic calls out.
The two hedgehogs quickly move out of the way.
"Alright, this is starting to get a little less easy," Sonic says.
Just then, more shurikens come their way, making the two hedgehogs dodge the attack.
Eve says, "We need to get to that thing's weak spot. And I don't think they're willing to let us hit it."
The Rotataron begins to move as it climbs around the Ferris Wheel, and moves around and throws the red shurikens at them. Sonic and Eve continue to dodge as they run up the wheel as they dodge the attack. Soon, Sonic and Eve notice five or rather six capsules on some of the platforms that are floating around the wheel.
Eve looks and says, "Sonic, there are more Wisp trapped in the capsules."
Sonic looks up to see
"Then let's get them out," Sonic says.
Sonic and Eve quickly jump on the platforms and quickly use their spin dash to break open the capsules and free the many wisp that are trapped in there.
Eve asks, "You okay, little guy?"
The wisps are pleased.
Then Sonic says, "Hey Eve, maybe the Wisps can help us beat this robot?"
"That's not a bad idea," Eve says.
Then turns to the wisp and asks, "You guys wanna help?"
The cyan wisp are more than happy to help. Sonic and Eve then absorb the Cyan Wisp inside their bodies. And with that, they use the powers to perform powerful lasers and bounces off the wheel and are able to strike at the robot's eye with multiple strikes and rather hard. And in the matter of seconds, the robot begins to short circuit and fall apart. Soon, the robot collapses and falls apart as Sonic and Eve use the cyan wisps' power to escape and get to the walkway that is a short distance away. Then, the wisps leave the hedgehogs' bodies and are happy.
"Well, that was easy," Eve says.
"Yeah, but knowing Eggman, he probably has tougher robots around here," Sonic says.
Eve nods her head, "You're right. Let's find the others and search for clues along the way."
With that, Sonic and Eve speed off to find Tails, Maria and Jazz, and search for some clues on what is happening in the park.
Meanwhile, back at the Tropical resort entryway, Tails is just putting the finishing touches on Miles Electric's translator function.
He adjusts it as he says, "Okay, just tighten this last bolt…"
Just then, Sonic and Eve return, and Sonic decides to moonwalk to back up a bit. And soon Tails and Maria notice them.
Tails asks, "Oh, there you are. Where'd you run off to?"
"I did a little shopping, grabbed a bite to eat, and trashed a giant killer robot," Sonic says.
"Oh. Really? They've got shopping here too?" Tails asks.
"This place has everything," Sonic says.
Maria asks, "Did you find Eggman?"
We did alright, and he already captured a lot of aliens. We need to figure out what he's planning," Eve says.
Then turns to Tails, "How's the translator doing?"
"I think it's done. It's in binary code, so only I can read it, "Tails says.
Soon, the computer pad lifts up like a satellite dish
"Okay, ask away," Tails says.
Sonic clears his throat and asks, "Who are you and what is happening to your people?"
Soon, the alien begins to explain the situation in its language.
Tails looks at his Miles Electric and says, "Okay, he says his name is 'Talks a lot' and he's from a far away soda and where flowers water them with dances."
"Huh?!" The girls say, confused.
Then Maria says, "I don't think that sounded right."
"Yeah," Sonic agrees. "uh... I think your machine still has some bugs."
"Yeah. I think I can figure this out though," Tails replies.
He thinks for a moment as he reads the translation. Then Tails translates, "Okay, he said his name is Yacker. He's from a race of beings called 'Wisps'." Yacker nods his head.
"Lisps?" Sonic says, confused.
"No, Wisps, with a 'W'." Tails says.
Eve then turns to the alien, "So, your name is Yacker. It's nice to meet you. I'm Eve and this is my Chao friend, Jazz."
"Chao Chao," Jazz happily says.
"My name is Maria," Maria says.
"I'm Sonic the Hedgehog," Sonic says.
"And I'm Tails," Tails says.
Eve asks, "So, can you tell us what happened?"
The wisp, Yacker explains.
Tails looks at the translation, "He says that either he and his friends are either being used for their magical powers by an evil man, or to make underwear to be worn by salad."
Sonic and Yacker look exasperated upon hearing the translation.
"Yeah. I have to go for the first one. That sounds like something Eggman would do," Eve says.
"I couldn't agree with you more," Sonic says.
"But why would he be doing that?" Maria asks.
"That's what we need to find out," Tails says.
Just then, Yacker shows signs that he is pleading.
Tails reads the translation, "I just hear save them, save them, over and over."
"Oh dear. We have to do something," Maria says.
"And we will. Luckily…" Eve says, and brings out a folded paper that has the sign and logo of Eggman's theme park.
And says, "I actually found the map that shows us the entire park. I say we should check it out."
"Good idea," Tails says.
Eve unfolds the map and looks at it, "According to the map, the closest planet we can go to from where we are is Sweet Mountain. Maybe we can find some clues there."
"Well then, I say let's go find out what Eggman is up to and put a stop to it," Sonic says.
With that, Sonic, Eve, Tails, Maria, and Jazz, along with their new Wisp friend, Yacker, begin their adventure to stop Dr Eggman and save Yacker's friends.
Meanwhile back at the Tropical Resort where Sonic and Eve fight the robot, Obot and Cubot are forced to clean the mess from it. They have brooms, grabbers, and even recycle bins to clean up the parts.
"The boss man said to wrangle every piece o' this mess. When you consider what we're doin' from a robot's point of view, it's actually pretty gruesome," Cubot says.
"Don't think about it," Orbot replies.
"Iffin' ya say so," Cubot says as he picks up a robot part and tosses it into the bin.
Orbot looks around and says, "I'm missing an arm. Have you got an arm?"
"Naw," Cubot answers with a shake.
And questions, "But really, how much can it matter?"
"I guess it can't matter much," Orbot says and tosses his tool aside and begins to lounge.
However, unknown to the robots, the missing arm in question has been knocked far from Sonic and Eve's fight. The arm has been knocked into One of Eggman's towers and is causing a leak of some strange purple energy of some kind.
