Hedgehog Colors Episode 3: Wisp Rescuing Race

In another part of Sweets Mountain, Orbot and Cubot are setting up one of the prison capsules with the white wisps trapped inside, and are under Metal's Sonic's watch. Cubot sets up one of the capsules. Once he's done, he smiles and signals Orbot with a thumbs up. Orbot then presses the bible on the prison capsule. The capsule's other bulbs begin to light up, and make a beep sound. Finally, the bulb on to[ of the capsule lights up and makes a beeping sound.

"Ah, that should do it," Orbot says.

He then brings out a data drive and presents a holographic image of Sweets Mountain to Metal Sonic.

Orbot explains, "The capsules have been installed all around Sweet Mountain, providing energy to Dr. Eggman's facilities."

Then turn off the data drive, "Here you go, 'Big bro'." And about to hand it to Metal Sonic.

Metal Sonic reaches for it, but something zips past him. That something is Sonic. He has snatched the data drive as he holds Orbot back with his other hand and foot. Orbot tries to grab the data drive away from Sonic, but he can't reach it.

"You know, I'd ask you to make this easier for us, but I don't think that's even possible," Sonic says, looking at the drive.

Unknown to Sonic, Cubot approaches from behind him.

Then Sonic tosses it to Tails, "Tails?"

Tails flies over and grabs the data drive, "Got it!"

At the same time, Eve and the others arrive on the scene. Tails then lands on the ground with his Miles Electric in hand.

Just then, Metal Sonic charges towards Sonic. Sonic then grabs his robotic counterpart by his hands and holds him back.

"How's it going, Metal? You're looking hideous as usual," Sonic says.

Tails holds his Miles Electronic that has the data drive plugged in. Everyone looks at the screen to see what it has to find.

Tails says in horror, "This is awful!"

"I know, pal! It's like looking into the world's ugliest mirror!" Sonic says, struggling to hold back Metal Sonic.

"No! The Wisps are already being drained of their energy," Tails says.

Then shows Miles Electric's map of Sweet Mountain.

"We got to free those Wisps and fast. Who knows what will happen," Eve says.

"You're right Eve. If we don't hurry, it will be too late to save them," Tails says.

At the same time, Sonic and Metal Sonic are still holding their grip at each other. Unaware to Sonic, Orbot and Cubot are behind him.

": Well fellas, I'd love to stick around and catch up, but I really don't like any of you," Sonic says.

He then falls back and kicks Metal Sonic over him, causing Orbot and Cubot to split up. Then Metal Sonic flies into the Prison Capsule, breaking it and freeing the Wisps trapped inside. Soon, Sonic, Eve and the others flee the scene.

Sonic and Eve respond, "Buh-bye!"

Cubot makes weeping motions at Sonic's comment, as Orbot pats him on the back.

"There, there buddy. I'm sure he didn't mean it. I think we're all very likable," Orbot says.

Then turns to Metal Sonic, "Right, big bro?"

Orobt and Cubot turn to see Metal Sonic charging off for a second, before flying off at high speed in pursuit of Sonic and the others.

Orbot calls out, "Sure, yeah, you go on ahead! We'll catch up!"

Already ahead, Sonic and Eve are running on their feet and Eve is holding Maria. Tails flies behind them with Yacker, Jade, and Red Wisp.

Looking at his Miles Electric Tails says, "First capsule coming up! Take a left here!"

"Roger that!" Sonic says.

He first dashes odd and drifts through a sharp turn. Eve follows after him. Soon, the Prison Capsule in their view. Two White Wisps and the vigilante Cyan Wisp, one of the Wisp resistance. Sonic and Eve both perform a spin jump and smash through the capsule before coming to a halt. The White Wisps are happy to be free and they give the two hedgehogs hugs and thank yous.

Sonic laughs and says, "Alright, alright. Heh heh, yes, yes, you're welcome."

Then pushes them away calmly, "You're, uh, smiling... faces... are all the thanks I need."

Soon, Yacker, Jade, and Red Wisp talk to the Cyan Wisp.

Maria says, "Hello, it's nice to meet you."

The vigilante Cyan Wisp with the brown bandana talks to each other. Jade is so happy to see he's okay.

Tails looks behind and calls out, "Incoming, Sonic!"

The group turns to see Metal Sonic drifting through a sharp turn.

"It's Metal Sonic!" Maria says, worried.

Eve turns to Sonic, "We better keep moving!"

Then Metal Sonic flies towards Sonic.

Sonic and the vigilante Cyan Wisp turn their heads to each other and both hold confident looks.

"Hmmm…" Sonic replies.

Metal Sonic slashes his left hand towards sonic, but he jumps in the air to dodge the attack.

"Sorry, gruesome!" Sonic says.

He then gives the Cyan Wisp the high hive as Sonic says, "If you wanna stop me, you have to catch me first!"

Soon the two glow and join together to form the form known as Cyan Laser. Metal Sonic watches as Sonic zig-zags away as the Cyan Laser.

Orbot and Cubot are able to catch up and are tired.

Orbot pants as he says, "Didn't you know, big bro… The Wisps... can share their power… with someone they trust."

Metal Sonic stands up among some of the Cyan Wisp who are flying away. Metal Sonic is able to grab one with his hand and holds it in front of him. The Cyan Wisp folds his little 'arms' and turns away as it closes its eyes.

Orbot flies to Metal Sonic, "Uhhh... I don't think it wants to share its power with you."

Just then, Orbot grabs hold of a Prison Capsule, "But I think we know a way around that."

Cubot then appears with a torch and a wrench in both hands, and a welding mask on his forehead. Cubot turns on the welding torch and flips the welding mask down in front to his face. Soon, the Cyan Wisp grasps one of its eyes open in surprise.

Meanwhile, Sonic flies through the air as a Cyan Laser. He and the wisp travel in zig-zags down the lanes. Soon, they approach a Prison Capsule holding two White Wisps, two green Wisps that have round bodies with small fins on their heads and one blue eye in the middle, and three sphere-like structures stemming from the bottom of their bodies. And the Yellow drill like Wisp who is part of the resistance as well. With the Cyan Laser, Sonic blasts through the capsule, destroying it and freeing them all. Jade happily greets the Yellow Wisp of the resistance. They both look down to see Sonic has changed back to normal and the hedgehog begins to stretch. At the same time, Eve and the others begin to catch up.

Eve calls out, "Sonic, look out!"

Sonic turns around and Metal Sonic appears and punches Sonic into the pillar of the platform.

"Sonic!" Eve calls out, and rushes to him.

Eve rushes to him and kneels to Sonic, "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine," Sonic says.

The two turn to see Metal Sonic in front of them, but notices him having a Wisp Capsule in his torso compartment. He is holding the Wisp Wisp and squeezes it with his right hand. Metal Sonic's chest begins to glow and it sucks the energy out of the White Wisp.

Sonic and Eve are shocked to see the White Wisp has changed into some purple or violet colored Wisp. The color is darker, loses its eyes and gains sharp mouths, and gives them a somewhat sinister appearance.

Sonic stands up and says, "Well... that's a new trick. And a new low."

"Yeah, a new low," Eve says.

Then turns to Sonic, "But I suspect that what happens when a Wisp is drained from their energy."

"Yeah. And it doesn't look good," Sonic says.

Just then, Tails flies over to Sonic and Eve with his Miles Electric.

Tails says to them in a panic, "We don't have time for this, guys! The other Wisps will be drained in only a few minutes!"

"It's okay, Tails. He's not looking for a fight," Sonic says.

Then turns to Metal Sonic, "Are you?"

Sonic and Metal Sonic look at each other intensely

Then Sonic says, "You're looking for a race!"

Eve sighs, "Of course he is."

"Alright, then." Sonic says, and he along with the Yellow Wisp give each other a high five.

Then says to Metal Sonic, "Let's race!"

Sonic and Yellow Wisp begin to glow and together, they both transform into an energy power known as 'Yellow Drill.'

Sonic then burrow-dives through the ground under and passes Metal Sonic. Metal Sonic then flies after Sonic, passing Orbot and Cubot, sending them both spinning.

Meanwhile, Sonic continues to burrow-dive through the ground and head towards another Prison Capsule inside. He then bursts through the ground, and destroys the capsule, freeing the White Wisps including the Pink Wisp who is part of the resistance. Metal Sonic quickly arrives and grabs one of the White Wisp in fell swoop.

Sonic continues to speed and releases the Yellow Wisp as he runs on his feet. Then, the vigilante Pink Wisp flies up to Sonic. Sonic gives it a thumbs-up as they approach the capsule with the other Wisps including the vigilante orange Wisp. Sonic activates the wisp power which is known as Pink Spikes. Meanwhile, Metal Sonic has captured two more White Wisps and absorbs their power, causing them to change and letting them go soon after.

Up ahead, Sonic uses his Pink Spikes power to free the trapped Wisps, including the Orange Wisp.

Sonic continues to free the many Wisps who have been captured and free many of the resistance from the Prison Capsules. Sonic also uses the Orange Wisp, which gives him the power known as Orange Rocket, and blasts through the capsule. That ends up freeing the Wisps, and the vigilante Green Wisp.

Tails looks at the screen of Miles Electric's map of Sweet Mountain. Soon, they're able to free many of the resistance and other Wisp. Eve and Maria stay close to Tails as they look at the map together. Jade gives the vigilante Orange Wisp a high-five and they continue to fly off. Sonic continues to speed through Sweet Mountain with Eve and the others follow from behind.

Meanwhile, Metal Sonic continues to drain the White Wisps of their energy and they transform into some purple wisp, before throwing them away. Metal sonic then glows a white aura in Orbot and Cubot presence before flying off.

Meanwhile, Sonic, Tails, Maria, and Jade, continue to speed down the road at high speed. Metal Sonic is soon approaching them from behind. Sonic continues to speed as Metal Sonic is catching up to him. Up ahead is another capsule with the trapped wisps, including the Vigilante Blue Wisp. Sonic tries to increase his speed, but becomes surprised when Metal Sonic overtakes him. Metal Sonic then turns around and starts charging towards Sonic. Tails, Maria, and Jade become scared to see Metal Sonic is about to attack Sonic. Jade then flies down and tries to reach towards Sonic as the hedgehog is running to his robotic counterpart. With an act of bravery, Jade phases into Sonic and activates her power and Sonic has been transformed into Jade Ghost. Sonic dashes forwards as Jade Ghost, phasing through Metal Sonic in the process. Then at the capsule, Sonic phases into it. Shortly after, the Prison capsule explodes, and Sonic appears among the wreckage as Jade phases out of his body.

Sonic then turns around to look at Metal Sonic who is behind him. Metal Sonic then briefly glows white as Tails, and the others approach them and Eve already rushes over.

Maria gasps as she covers her mouth and says, "Oh no…"

Sonic and Eve kneel down and sadly pick up the unconscious purple Wisps. They all have been badly weaken from being weakened

Tails sadly says, "We're too late…"

Suddenly, Jade becomes so angry, and glares at Metal Sonic. Metal Sonic begins to glow with the white aura as he walks to the two hedgehogs and Jade Wisp. Jade decides that she has enough of Metal Sonic. She flies towards Metal Sonic and phases into its body. Jade uses her powers to turn Metal Sonic intangible, and the Prison Capsule plops out of Metal Sonic's body from behind Jade flies out, and Metal Sonic becomes tangible again. Soon, all the energy from the capsule glows and releases the energy. Soon, all the power returns to the purple energy and turns back to White Wisps again. In Sonic's hands, the purple Wisp has changed back to the Blue Wisp of the resistance. All the Wisps surround the hedgehogs and are happy to have their powers and be free.

Just then, Orbot and Cubot catch up to Metal Sonic.

"Don't worry, big bro! We can still defeat him... together!" Orbot says, determined.

Soon, the two fly in the air as Orbot announces, "Form... CHANGE!"

Orbot and Cubot begin what appears to be a transformation. However, at the end, it's revealed to be Obot and Cubot clinging to Metal Sonic's arms. Sonic, Eve, and Jade look at the three.

Sonic turns to Eve, "They've got to be kidding…"

Eve shakes her head, "Oh brother…"

Soon, the several White Wisp and the Wisp resistance assemble behind them.

"Let's do this!" Sonic says, and gives the Yellow Wisp a high five.

With that, they both fuse and transform into Yellow Drill. Sonic burrows towards Metal Sonic Orbot, and Cubot. Soon, they emerge from their feet knocking them in the air.

Eve then flaps her hands with the Pink Wisp, activating the Pink Spikes. Eve as the Pink Spikes, spin around Metal Sonic, causing Orbot and Cubot to fall off and fall to the ground. Their bodies landed on the ground while their detached heads leaned on each other's bodies. The two robots look up to see Metal Sonic falling.

Soon, Sonic along with the Green Wisp who transformed into Green Hover, intercepting Metal Sonic's fall. Then they fly him into the air, before throwing him upward and flying down.

Eve, along with Orange Wisp, transforms to Orange Rocket and flies past Metal Sonic, causing him to spin around.

Then, Sonic along with Blue Wisp, transformed into Blue Cube, comes down on Metal Sonic and pushes him towards the ground. Down on the ground, the two robots notice the show, and begin to look up but Blue Cube Sonic lands right on top of them. When the dust settles, Metal Sonic has been deactivated and is defeated while Orbot and Cubot are crushed to pieces.

Sonic, Eve, and the Wisp of the resistance stand in front of the defeated robots. Tails and the others arrive on the scene.

"We did it!" Maria happily cheers.

"Chao Chao!" Jade happily says.

Tails turns to Jade, "Jade, you were so brave!"

Jade begins to blush in reply.

Then Tails turns to Sonic and Eve" And Sonic. Eve. Good work. As usual."

Sonic gives Tails a thumbs up, "Piece of cake, buddy."

With that, a Green Wisp flies in and hands Sonic and Eve a piece of cake.

Eve giggles, "Thank you."

"Oh, well that's a... Heh... Guess an 'A' for effort," Sonic says, sounding skeptical.

Then turns to Tails to notice something wrong, "Tails, what's wrong?"

Eve and the others notice Tails is tapping on his Miles tech with a frown on his face.

Tails sighs and says, "We were able to save Jade's friends, but there's still so many Wisps in danger. Thousands of them. I'm just... not... sure we can save all of them…"

Sonic then places his hand on Tails' shoulder, "You're right, pal. We probably can't. 'Cause these guys might beat us to it!"

The group looks to see the view of Sweet Mountain, it shows the countless Wisps breaking their fellow Wisps out of the capsules left and right.

"Wow! The Wisps are helping each other," Maria happily says.

"Yeah. It looks like Jade's friends and others are helping free each other," Eve says.

"Chao Chao!" Jazz happily cheers.

"When a problem seems too big to solve on your own, you do what you can... And maybe ask a little help from your friends. Right?" Sonic says.

"Right!" Tails says.

"We all got our jobs to do," Sonic says.

Then turns to Jade, "Right, little guy?"

Sonic and Jade clap each other's hand, causing Sonic to turn intangible. Sonic then shakes off the effects. Meanwhile, the Wisp resistance picks up a Prison Capsule that has Metal Sonic, Orbot, and Cubot trapped inside.

"And I'm ready to go back to doing our job: ruining Eggman's whole life," Sonic says.

Eve chuckles and says, "I'm starting to think this is more of a hobby if anything."

"Yeah. A job can never be this much fun," Sonic says.

Jade then flies to the others and begins to explain something to them.

Tails brings out his translator and says, "Jade said that she remembers this place. She remembers it being close to where she has been caught. The place actually has a generator there. So she said if we go down that path…" and points towards the path, "We'll be able to find the generator in no time.

"Sounds cool. I say we check it out," Sonic says.

"Yeah. We might be able to figure out what it is," Eve says.

Sonic says, "Thanks Jade, it's time for us to get going."

"Goodbye Jade," Eve says.

"Chao Chao!" Jazz says, waving goodbye.

Jade also waves goodbye. With that, Sonic, Eve, Maria, Tails, Jazz, and Yacker head off to find the generator. Red Wisp decides to remain behind to help Jade and the others free their friends.
