Hedgehogs Colors Saga Episode 10: Here Comes Mama Wisp

Back to where the space elevator used to be, Sonic, Eve, Tails, Maria, and Jazz are listening to what Yacker explains to them after saying that his mama is on a rampage. And with that, Yacker explains to them the whole situation.

"So according to Yacker, Eggman has been trying to capture his mama for some time to take her energy. Luckily he isn't able to find her. He left back at the Asteroid Coaster to check up on her since she was hiding nearby. Once the planets are free, many of the Wisps were trying to return home until one of the cannons blew up and his mom has been hit by the negative energy and her own has been mostly drained," Tails explains.

Yacker then continues to express his concern.

"Yacker said 'Please, stop my mama!' 'Please, save her!'" Tails adds.

"Don't worry Yacker, we'll stop your mom and get her to chill. We just need to know where she went," Sonic says to Yacker.

Yacker expresses his gratitude and relief.

Suddenly, the group begins to hear a beeping sound. Tails looks at his Miles Electric to see who is calling.

"It's a call from Sally," Tails says.

Tails then presses the button on his Miles Electric and sees Sally and Nicole on the screen.

Tails says, "Hi Sally. Nicole. What's going on?"

"Tails! You, Sonic, Eve, and Maria need to come back to New Mobotropolis immediately!" Sally says, upset.

"Why? What's up?" Sonic asks.

"Some giant jellyfish-like creature is approaching the city and nothing we do seems to stop it," Sally says.

Then Nicole says, "This strange creature is setting off a massive amount of negative energy. The other Freedom Fighters are doing their best to stop it, but the creature is very strong, and I'm not sure how long my protective shield can hold it."

"A giant creature?" Eve questions.

"Negative energy?" Maria adds.

Tails asks, "Nicole, can you show me what it looks like?"

"Certainly Tails," Nicole says.

Then Nicole pulls out footage of the giant purple monster using its large tentacles to force its way into the city. However, Nicole's protective barrier, and the Freedom Fighters are preventing it. The Freedom Fighters do whatever means to fight against it.

Yacker sees the screen and goes into a panic, and talks to the others.

Tails asks, "Yacker, is that your mom?!"

Yacker nods his head frantically.

"She's… HUGHE!" Sonic says, shocked.

"That negative energy must have turned into a colossal Nega-Wisp, and she's on a rampage," Eve says.

"Still, you'd think there would be a LITTLE more of a resemblance," Sonic says, scratching under his chin.

"Sonic, that's the least of our worries," Eve says.

"She's right. We need you to head back to New Mobotropolis and stop it before she destroys the city," Sally says.

"Don't worry Sal, we'll head there right away," Sonic says.

Sally then hangs up the call.

Sonic turns to Tails, "Tails, you take Maria, Yacker, and Jazz to the X Tornado. Eve and I will go ahead."

"Got it, Sonic," Tails says.

Maria replies, "I wonder how we're going to stop her."

"I'm sure we'll find a way. Right now, we need to get to New Mobotropolis, and fast," Eve says.

With that, Sonic and Eve speed off to get to New Mobotropolis while Tails, Maria, Jazz, and Yacker rush off to the X Tornado to fly to the city.

Back in front of New Mobotropolis, the Freedom Fighters are doing their best to fight back. Amy slams her hammer at the tentacle of the giant Nega-Wisp. Antoine is also trying to fight back with his sword, but nothing in the world. Rotor, Manic, Sonia, and some of the others are also fighting back with their weapons, but the Nega-Wisps perform a large dark purple laser that is similar to the Cyan Laser trick. Bunnie, who is flying in the air, fires it with her robotic arm. Bunnie fires her attack at the Nega-Wisp. The Nega-Wisp turns to Bunnie and fires Orange Rockets at her. Bunnie quickly flies away as she tries to dodge the attack.

Rotor fires one of his weapons, "There's no stopping that thing."

Manic flies on his hoverboard with Sonia and fires one of his blasters at her, but nothing works.

"That Nega-Wisp is very strong," Sonia says.

"And nothing seems to stop it," Manic says.

Just then, the Nega Wisp perform a Pink Spike attack at Sonia and Manic. Before the two can do anything, the spike hits them and cause them to fall to the ground. Before they can hit the ground, two blurs: a blue blur and a black and red blur, speed over and catch the two hedgehogs. Landing on the ground are Sonic and Eve who have rescued them. Sonic holding Sonia, and Eve holding Manic.

Sonic puts Sonia down and asks, "Are you guys okay?"

"We're fine. Glad you guys made it," Sonia says.

"Yeah. That giant Wisp is going wild," Manic says.

Just then, the giant Nega-Wisp lets out a roar in anger.

The Mother Wisp tries to slam its tentacle at them, but the four hedgehogs dodge the attack and land on the ground.

"That is one angry mama," Eve says.

"No kidding. We gotta stop her," Sonic says.

"Sonic! Eve!" Sally's voice calls out.

The two hedgehogs turn to see Sally and Nicole hurrying toward them.

"Sally. Nicole." Sonic calls out.

The two hurry to the two hedgehogs.

"Is everyone okay?" Eve asks.

"Everyone is okay, but I don't know how long it will take before the Mother Wisp will break through the protective shield and attack anyone inside," Sally says, worried.

Eve says, "It's not her fault. Dr. Eggman's mind control device somehow got out of control and struck her after she escaped."

"Yeah. Eggman really did it this time," Sonic says.

"We gotta find a way to get rid of the negative energy the Mother Wisp has," Eve says.

"Question us how," Sonic replies.

"You're right. She is very big and powerful," Sally says.

Sonic scratches his chin and says, "If only there's a way for us to gain our super forms and we can get rid of that negative energy."

"Yeah, but we don't have any of the Chaos Emeralds with us," Eve says.

Then she has an idea, "But I think I know what we can use as a substitute."

Sonic then gets the idea, "The Master Emerald!"

"You're right. You and Ever were able to channel the Master Emerald's power before, I'm sure it will work again," Sonia says.

Then Sally turns to Nicole, "Nicole, contact Knuckles as fast as you can. Tell him what's going on." The turns to Sonic and Eve, "You both get to Freedom HQ, and use the Warp Ring to get you to Angel Island."

"Got it Sal," Sonic says.

With that, Sonic and Eve rush off to get to Angel Island.

Then Sally holds out his comlink, "I'll contact Tails and see if he can help distract it long enough.. And see if Bunnie can help."

Then turns to Manic and Sonia, "Think you two can help as well."

"No prob, Sal," Manic says.

"We'll do the best we can," Sonia says.

Manic then rushes to get his hoverboard and Sonia rushes back to the city to get her motorbike.

Then Sally contacts Bunnie and Tails, "Bunnie. Tails. Can you both help Sonia and Manic distract the Nega-Wisp long enough for Sonic and Eve to gain their super forms.."

In the air, Bunnie says, "You got it, sugah."

In the air of the X Tornado Tails says, "Roger Sally."

"Jazz and I can help too," Maria says.

"Chao Chao," Jazz says.

"Thanks, we could use the help we can get," Sally says.

Tails looks down to view the city below and the Mama Nega-Wisp.

"There it is," Tails says.

"I feel bad about hurting Yacker's mom," Maria says, feeling guilty.

"I know, but we gotta distract it long enough for Sonic and Eve to get their forms and defeat it," Tails says.

Maria nods her head in reply.

Then Tails presses the button and the X Tornado fires the missiles at the Nega Wisp. The attack strikes at the Wisp, but doesn't leave any scrapes on it. Manic, Sonic, and Bunnie also attack it from either the air or the ground. Amy, and some of the other Freedom Fighters also assist with the attack. The Nega-Wisp is soon being attacked by one attack after another, but it doesn't seem to be losing the negative energy.

At Freedom HQ, Eve opens the safe that has the Warp Rings and puts a few in her bag. At the same time, Nicole has contacted Knuckles and explained the situation.

"A giant what?!" Knuckles asks, shocked.

"A Giant Nega-Wisp. Eggman got the Wisps home planet dragged to this part of the galaxy, and tried to use their powers for a mind control device," Sonic explains.

"And the machine malfunctioned, and caused a massive explosion and got the Mother Wisp somehow," Eve adds.

Then Sonic says, "And now she's on a rampage and is going to destroy New Mobotropolis or any other city if we don't stop it."

"So we're going to Angel Island to see if we can use the Master Emerald to change into our super forms. It worked for Sonic during the Enerjak incident, maybe it can help us now," Eve says.

Knuckles groans as he places his hand on his head, "Should have known that Eggman had something to do with this."

He thinks a bit and says, "Alright, you can use the Master Emerald, but that's it. No more using the Master Emerald for this."

"Thanks Knuckles," Eve says, and tosses the Warp Ring, making the portal open.

Sonic and Eve quickly jump through the ring and on to Angel Island. They soon meet up with Knuckles. Knuckles senses the Master Emerald's power inside.

"Alright, are you both ready?" Knuckles asks.

Sonic and Eve nod their heads in reply. Sonic and Eve then hop on the Master Emerald.

Sonic turns to Eve, "Ready sis."

"We're ready," Eve says, nodding her head.

Sonic and Eve then take each other's hand, close their eyes, and focus their energy on the Master Emerald. Soon, the two channels the Master Emeralds powers and the two hedgehogs are surrounded by it's incredible powers. Soon enough, the two hedgehogs transform into their super forms.

"Alright Sonic, let's go!" Eve says.

"Yeah. Let's knock the negative energy out of that Wisp!" Sonic says.

With that the two hedgehogs fly off back to New Mobotropolis to defeat the Mother Wisp and free her from the negative energy that possessed her.

Back in New Mobotropolis, the Freedom Fighters are doing their best to fight off the Mama Wisp. The Mother Wisp continues to throw all kinds of attacks at them: Laser, Rocket, Spikes, Cubes, Drills, and other kinds of attacks that resemble the other Wisps' powers. Everyone in the air and the ground dodge the attacks spreading all over the place.

"I don't know how long we can do this, Sally," Bunnie says.

"Yeah," Amy says, and uses her hammer to hit the cube and sends it flying, "This Wisp is very powerful."

"Oui, I am thinking that the fight is proven to be much difficult," Antoine adds.

Sally then uses her Ring Blades to repel the Laser attack, "We just have to hold it off a little longer. Sonic and Eve should be here any minute."

Tails continues to attack with the X Tornado, and dodge the attacks.

"I don't know how long we can dodge this," Tails says, continuing to fly across the sky and dodge the attacks.

Just then, two sparks of light coming from the distance, zip to where the Nega-Wisp is at and smack into it. That sends the Nega-Wisp away from the city, gaining everyone's attention. To everyone's amazement, Sonic and Eve are flying over the city to see the Nega-Wisp regains itself to see the two hedgehogs.

Seeing them, Tails says, "They made it."

"Yay!" Maria cheers.

"Chao Chao," Jazz happily replies.

The Nega-Wisp lets out a roar and begins to fire multiple Spikes at them. Both hedgehogs dodge the attack. Then the Nega-Wisp performs a laser at them. Eve quickly brings out her sword, and uses it to repel the attack.

Just then, the Nega-Wisp brings out large dark purple cubs and drops them towards the hedgehogs. Sonic quickly uses her speed to knock them at the Nega-Wisp, attacking it with full force. Seeing his chance, Sonic then flies towards the Nega- Wisp, and is able to strike on the top of its forehead. Sonic then flies back and the Nega-Wisp lets out a roar in anger.

The Nega-Wisp then fires a Fire Burst at them, and Eve quickly uses her Chaos Shield to repel the attack. Then throws drills and rockets at them. Sonic and Eve quickly dodge the attack. Eve then flies towards the Nega-Wisp with full force as it fires at Eve with its laser. Sonic distracts the Nega-Wisp by distracting the tentacles. Then, Eve is able to strike at the Nega-Wisp.

The Nega Wisp feels the pain in agony as many negative spores are leaving its body.

Sonic turns to Eve, "I think we almost had it."

"I think you're right. If we combine our power, that should do the trick," Eve says.

"Then let's give it everything we got," Sonic says.

With that, Sonic and Eve fly toward the Nega-Wisp with full force. The Nega-Wisp then throws every attack it has at the two hedgehogs, but the attacks bounce off the two hedgehogs. They both raise their fist as they charge toward the Wisp.

They both shout, "CHAOS CONTROL!"

And then, they both strike their Chaos Energized fist at the Nega-Wisp with full force. That causes all the negative energy and spores to be released from the giant Wisp's body. Just then, the wisp glows so bright that it's blinding everyone around.

Soon, the Wisp has transformed and all the negative energy it has disappeared. The Wisp now closely resembles a jellyfish in overall appearance. Her head is ellipsoid in shape, and is colored pink with circular carnation pink markings on the sides, and upstanding fungus-like hair on top of it. She also has three eyes with cyan irises horizontally across her face. Extending from around the bottom of her head, it has two layers of collar-like appendages, each of which are colored columbia blue and mauve respectively, and several thin pink tentacles. Also stemming from the bottom of her head, and has four extra long and round tentacles.

The Mother Wisp is back to normal.

Once the Mother Wisp is back to her normal self, Sonic and Eve descend to the grounds outside of New Mobotropolis, and revert back to themselves.

Suddenly, they hear a familiar voice, "Sonic! Eve!"

The two hedgehogs turn their heads to see Tails, Sally, Mari, Jazz, and the rest of the Freedom Fighters running towards them.

"We were worried about you," Tails says.

"Hey, it was a piece of cake!" Sonic says.

"Well, once we got the super forms, it was a snap," Eve says.

Sally looks up and says, "Look!"

Everyone looks up to see the Mother Wisp who is now back to her original self, and all the Wisp of the planet gather round to express their concern, happiness, and relief. Yacker flies up to Mother Wisp and gives her a hug. The two hug each other with happiness.

"She's back to normal! That's great, Yacker!" Tails says.

Mother Wisp then speaks. Then Yacker.

"Looks like they've got something to tell us, Tails," Sonic says.

"Let's see…" Tails says, and brings out his Miles Electric.

He then translates, "'Thank you for helping my children. I am Mother Wisp.'"

Mother wisps continue and Tails translates, "'I was so worried when our planets were pulled apart from one another.'"

"That's a real nice mother you got, Yacker!" Sonic says.

Then Yacker begins speaking, Tails translates, "'Mama gave us life and raised us. She even made the planet we live on.'"

"Wow, that's a feat... You better not do anything to get on her bad side!" Sonic comments.

Yacker happily chatters.

Tails translates, "'I won't! Mama and I will head home now. Thank you for all you've done!'"

Both Mother Wisp and Yacker express themselves.

Then Sonic says, "You take care! And hurry up, before you and your mom get separated again!"

"We sure are going to miss you, Yacker," Eve says.

"Chao Chao," Jazz says, and hugs Yacker.

Yacker hugs Jazzback.

"Goodbye Yacker!" Maria says.

"Don't forget us! Bye bye!" Tails says.

With that, Yacker and Mama Wisp, and all the Wisp fly out into space to return back to their home planet. Up in space, the Wisp then fly to their respective planets, and they all disappear, returning to their part of the universe where they belong.

"They're really gone. Planet and all," Tails says.

"I guess once the Wisp returns home, they return their planet to their part of the universe," Eve says.

"It's all over and done," Sonic says.

"Yeah…" Tails says.

"I'm going to miss Yacker," Maria says.

"Chao Chao," Jazz says, feeling very sad.

"I'm sure we'll see them again someday, Maria," Sonic says.

"Probably," Eve says with a smile.

Then Sonic says, "Until then, we'll just have to wait for Eggman's next hair-brain plan."

Everyone begins laughing.

Then Eve says, "You know, thanks to this adventure, I got a couple of ideas for a few song lyrics."

"Now that I can't wait to hear," Sally says.

Everyone then begins laughing again.

A Few Days Later:

Sonic, Eve, Sonia, and Manic are in the coliseum with their instruments, microphone, and speaker system set up for a few new songs.

Sonia plays her keyboard a bit and says, "Everything is ready."

"Yeah. Time for a little practice," Manic says, playing his drums.

Eve and Sonic both strum their guitar. Eve is using bass guitar, and Sonic is using his guitar.

"We're all ready to go," Eve says.

Then turns to Sonic, "Ready bro, cause you're singing this number."

"I'm already ready. And I'm ready to rock," Sonic says.

Jazz holds a tambourine as she happily says, "Chao Chao.

Manic then taps on his drumsticks. "One… Two… One… Two… Three… Four…"

Then the group begins to play with their instruments. Even Jazz is playing along with the band. Sonic then turns to the microphone.

The group continue to play their instruments and are having a blast with this song. Everyone in the city hearing the song is ecstatic with the music. Sonic and Eve continue to strum their guitars together as they play the song.

Back on the Wisp planets, everyone is very peaceful as the Wisp play, have fun, and use their abilities. Mama Wisp is flying over the horizon as she watches her children take good care of them. She then notices a group of Wisps talking to each other. One of them is Yacker who is talking to the others.

In their own language, the other White Wisp asks, "So, Yacker. You were with Sonic and Eve the whole time, right?"

"Yup, the whole adventure," Yacker answers.

Then Red Wisp asks, "What was it like? Was Sonic cool?"

Then Cyan Wisp asks, "Was Eve cool, too?"

"Ice cold!" Yacker answers.

Then the Red Wisp asks, "Were they fiery like me?"

"Hot as the sun!" Yacker answers.

Then the Orang Wisp asks, "Did they fly?

"They flew all over the place!" Yacker answers.

"Were they spikes sharp?" Yellow Wisp asks.

"I was waiting for him to get stuck in something!" Yacker answers

Then the Cyan Wisp asks, "They sound like real stars! Did they shine like one?

"You could just about go blind looking at them!" Yacker says.

The Wisps happily cheer, "Wow... Sonic and Eve are amazing!"

"There's a whole lot of space out there, but there's only one Sonic and Eve!" Yacker says.

He then says in thought, "I've decided to tell everyone about you so I never forget, Sonic and Eve. Thanks for everything! I hope I get to see you again…"

Yacker then looks up to see the blue sky as he thinks of the wonderful friends he has made, and the two heroes who have saved them in time of need. Yacker hopes that one day, he will meet Sonic and Eve, and the others and will go on great adventures.

Meanwhile, somewhere in outer space, Orbot and Cubot are pushing the damaged Egg Mobile through the vast expanse of space that is filled with debris of Eggman's machines.

Eggman continues to command them, "Faster, you idiots! Faster! Put your backsides into it."

"Technically we don't have backsides, boss," Orbot comments.

Eggman angrily says, "I don't care! Just push. We have to hurry. I already have my revenge planned out, and next time I will not fail!" and slams his fist on the control pad.

"Of course you won't, boss. Of course you won't," Orbot says, bowing his head.

Then says, "On the bright side, a certain someone got their voice back."

Then Cubot comes over and begins talking up a storm.I feel like my old self. All I want to do is talk talk talk. Hey, remember when we were chasing all the little alien guys? What's up with those guys anyway? They sure were funny looking. Hahaha. Smelled good, though.

Eggman grunts in frustration, "Ugh, what I wouldn't give for the maddening silence of space right about now.

Cubot continues, "Oh, I wish we had some of that sushi. Bummer we didn't bring any with us. Not that we could eat it since we're robots, but we could have looked at it. I love looking at stuff. I love stuff! The fireworks show at the end was great. Hey, how did you get all that stuff to blow up like that? Loved it! By the way, did we destroy Sonic this time? Duh, sorry, dumb question. We never destroy Sonic and Eve! Hey, where are we going... Ohhhhh look at that star... oh, and that one... and that one... and that one... that one's nice... oh look at that!"

And so the three continue to float in the emptiness of space.
