The Secret of the Rings Episode 6: Pirates in the Storm
Sonic and Shahra have traveled the Arabian Nights to find the other Seven World Rings. This time, they end up in the stormy seas full of wrecked ships, and a harsh storm. Sonic and Shahra begin to travel on the wrecked ships as the storm blows. Their main reason for going there is to find the pirates who have stolen the blue Seven World Ring that can control the water so they can defeat the fire spirit in the foundry.
Upon arriving, they end up already caught in the storm.
"The seas have turned stormy…" Shahra says.
Sonic shrugs his shoulders, "Well, so much for a vacation."
"I can't imagine anyone who wants to have a vacation in a storm like this," Shahra says.
Suddenly, more of Erazor Djinn's spirits pop out in front of her.
Shahra cries out, "Ah! Sonic, watch out!"
"On it!" Sonic says.
Sonic jumps and spins dashes the spirits. Once the spirits have been destroyed, they continue forward.
Shahra spots some wrecked ships to her right, "Let's head in that direction."
Sonic nods and jumps on to the wrecked ship on the right and continues forward. Sonic then jumps on some platforms floating on the water, which is difficult to balance.
"Be careful, Sonic,"Shahra says.
"Easier said than done. The storm is making everything rocky. And wet," Sonic says.
Concern, Shahra says, "Yes. No one will be able to swim in that."
"I wouldn't like that," Sonic says, feeling nervous.
"All the more reason to be careful walking through here," Shahra says.
Sonic and Shahra continue to travel across the stormy seas. They continue to travel through the wrecked ship, and land on small rocky islands and travel through the rough platforms. Luckily, Sonic and Shara are able to get out of that alright, but their journey doesn't stop there.
Soon, Sonic and Shahra land on a wrecked pirate ship.
Sonic soon notices a cannon, "Hey, check this thing out!" and speeds to the cannon.
Then Sonic jumps inside the cannon.
"Sonic, w-wait!" Shahra says, worried.
Sonic calls out, "Don't worry, I do this all the time."
Then shouts, "And fire!"
With that, Sonic flies out of the cannon as she shouts, "Yahoo!"
Soon, Sonic is flying on a rocket cannon ball. Now Sonic is riding on the rocket like a snowboard.
"How are you able to fly out of a cannon like that?!" Shahra asks, shocked.
Sonic grins and laughs, "Don't worry, I do this sometime on the Blue Typhoon."
"Blue Typhoon?" Shahra says.
"It's one of Tails' even built the Tornado, and I stand on its wings," Sonic says.
"Oh my!" Shahra says, surprised.
Then Sonic flies down with the cannon, "Hang on, we're coming for a landing!"
Sonic then lowers the rocket down. While it falls in the water, Sonic and Shahra land on another ship.
Shahra is relieved that they land, "Ohh! You are so reckless!"
"Sally said the same thing! She always says how reckless I am," Sonic says.
"Seeing how you take action, I'm willing to believe," Shahra says.
And Sonic says, "Maybe, but see, now this is why I love coming in the ocean."
Sonic then dashes off and Shahra follows.
As they travel on the ship, Erazor Djinn's minions appear.
"Oh dear!" Shahra says, surprised.
"Don't worry, I got this!" Sonic says.
Sonic then spin dashes and kicks the spirits until they're defeated. Now Sonic and Shahra begin to travel across ship to ship, using some of the catapults that are found on the ship for bigger jumps. And of course, they end up finding more of Erazor Djinn's spirits who keep attacking them, and they seem to look like pirates now. After traveling across the ships, Sonic and Shara are able to reach an island in front of the entrance to a cavern.
Sonic sighs, "Phew! That was pretty rough!"
"Sonic, are you hurt?" Shahra asks, concerned.
"Nah, I'm good," Sonic says.
"That's good. I was a little worried," Shahra says.
"Nothing to it, Shahra," Sonic says.
"Hmm, I wonder which way we need to go," Shahra replies, looking around.
Sonic soon notices, "How about that cave?"
Shahra turns to where Sonic is looking to see a cave up ahead.
"I suppose we could go see if we can get to the other side," Shahra says.
"Then let's check it out," Sonic says.
With that, Sonic and Shahra begin to travel through the cave and soon find the cave is beautiful, full of sea coral and sea plants.
Shahra is amazed, "Ohh! It's so pretty!"
"Yeah. It's kind of it," Sonic says.
Sonic and Shahra continue to travel through the cave full of coral and other pretty plants. Of course, Sonic has to defeat the ghosts, and dodge the traps that are set up in the cave. Soon, Sonic and Shahra reach a few platforms up to a wooden railing in a different part of the cave. After traveling through the cave, Sonic and Shara are able to find large wrecked ships with wooden paths and machines to help get across.
Sonic grows worried, "Uh-oh. I have almost no traction, here."
"We have to be extra careful here. The sea looks really rough," Shahra says.
"Yeah," Sonic says.
"Be careful Sonic," Shahra says, concerned.
Sonic begins to jump along the wooden paths in the water and is soon able to reach on to one of the wrecked ships. Sonic and Shahra begin to travel inside, and again, they have to battle against the pirate spirits in their paths.
"Good job, Sonic," Shara says.
"Thanks, Shahra," Sonic says.
Shahra turns to see a wooden plank, "Sonic, use this."
"Okay! Let's do this!" Sonic says.
Sonic jumps on the plank and begins to surf on the stormy sea. Soon, a wave is heading towards them. Sonic smirks and begins to head towards the wave.
"Are you kidding?!" Shahra asks, shocked.
Sonic then jumps over the wave, "Ha!"
Then Sonic continues to search over the waves and he is having a blast. Shahra however, doesn't feel the same, and feels a bit sick to her stomach. Then Sonic and Shahra ride on a very big wave. With Sonic's surfing skills, Sonic is able to surf over the large waves and down towards the island nearby.
"Great job, Sonic," Shahra says.
"No problem," Sonic says.
Then says, "Now let's hurry."
"Don't strain yourself too much!" Shahra says.
With that, Sonic continues to speed forward. And soon, Sonic reaches a long platform and reaches the other side with no trouble. Soon, they're able to reach farther out in the storm, still training and soon see a pirate ship from far away.
Sonic spots them "There they are!"
"They must have the ring that lets them control the power of storms!" Shahra says.
"You can say that again," Sonic says.
Suddenly, the pirate ship begins to fire their cannonballs at them.
"Watch out!" Shahra calls out.
Sonic and Shahra quick;y dodge away from the attack.
Sonic turns to the ship, "Shoot first and ask questions later, huh? That's pirates for ya."
"Come on, let's just hurry!" Shahra says.
"All right, fine. Let's do it!" Sonic says, ready to fight.
With that, Sonic speeds forward as Shahra goes back in her ring.
In the Ring, Shahra calls out, "Watch out for the cannonballs!"
Sonic uses his speed to dodge the cannons as he runs across the large island they've landed on. Sonic and Shahra continue to rush across the island as they dodge the pirates' attack. As they run on platforms distance away, they come across a lot of obstacles.
Sonic then uses the move, "Time Break."
And everyone comes to a stand still, allowing Sonic and Shahra to get past them without any trouble. Of course, they have to keep dodging and attacking Erazor Djinn's henchmen. They continue to dodge the cannonballs, defeating the spirits of Erazor Djinn, and escape the attacks that's been set up. Soon enough, they're able to reach a specific pirate ship they're looking for.
Sonic and Shahra are looking at the pirate ship far away as it starts to rain again.
"That must be it," Sonic says.
"Yes. That must be the ship Sinbad is talking about," Shahra says.
He looks around, "I wonder where the Water Ring is.
On the ship a group of slime Djinns gather together and merge together to become a frightening pirate spirit with four horns, a pirate hat, and two arms. The spirit before them is now called Captain Bemoth.
Sonic points to the monster, "Aha, someone's looking for a duel!"
"Sonic…" Shahra says, concern.
With confidence, Sonic says, "This should be interesting. Come on, let's have some fun!"
"Be careful Sonic. That spirit looks strong," Shahra says.
"Good point," Sonic says.
Just then, Captain Bemoth leaves his ship and heads towards where Sonic and Shahra are.
Settle down! Sonic calls out. "I need that World Ring of yours!"
"Ohh! Now I don't know which one the pirate is!" Shahra says, deeply concerned.
"Only one way to find out. Let's go get it," Sonic says.
Sonic and Shahra then speed off after Captain Bemoth.
"How are we going to beat that thing?" Sonic asks.
Shahra answers, "The source of power is its horns! There must be something you can do!"
"Well first. We need to catch up with that thing, and dodge the cannonball it's firing at us," Sonic says.
"Right," Shahra says.
Sonic and Shahra continue to chase after the spirit as it fires cannonballs at them. Sonic dodges the attacks as he speeds closer towards the monster. Once he's close enough, he is able to get on top of Captain Bemoth's head. He soon holds on to one of the horns.
"Alright, now what do we do?" Sonic questions.
Shahra thinks, "Hmm. Maybe there's a way to grab onto those horns and pull them off."
"Well, I managed to grab one of the horns, so I'll pull it off," Sonic says.
Sonic grabs a hard grip of the horn and begins to pull it off. Sonic grits his teeth as he pulls the horn with all his might. Finally, Sonic is able to pull the horn off the monster as it screams in agony. Sonic quickly jumps off to see the monster covering itself as it screams.
"Well, that did the trick!" Sonic says.
"Yes! Keep going!" Shahra says.
"Then let's go after it," Sonic says.
Sonic then dashes off after Captain Bemoth with top speed. Of course, the monster begins to attack the monster as it attacks with purple balls and cannonballs at them.
"Looks like this monster is getting more aggressive," Sonic says as he dodges the attack.
"Keep going, you're almost there," Shahra says.
With that, Sonic speeds forward and jumps on top of the spirit. Then Sonic grabs another one of its horns and pulls it with all his strength until he pulls it out. The monster screams in agony as Sonic jumps off.
"One more horn gone! I almost feel bad for the poor guy," Shahra says.
"Maybe, but we have to remember that it's one of Erazor Djinn's minions," Sonic says.
"Yes," Shahra replies with a nod.
Then she looks kind of concerned.
"Are you okay?" Sonic asks.
"I'm alright. The monster has one more horn, so we should go after it," Shahra says.
"Okay," Sonic replies.
Sonic and Shahra then hurry to catch up with Captain Bomoth, luckily, the monster is so in pain from losing two of its horns that Sonic is able to jump on its back easily. Sonic grabs the horn and pulls it with all his might. The last horn is proven to be harder than the last two, but the monster tries to attack while splashing water or fire its attack from its back. Finally, Sonic is able to pull the third horn out of it, and the monster screams in pain.
Sonic lands on his feet and says, "Just one horn left! Time to finish this thing off!
"It's not over yet, Sonic! Stay sharp!" Shahra says.
Sonic and Shahra begin to chase after the Captain Bemoth. Of course, the spirit begins to fire water, purple round balls, and cannons from its back. Sonic continues to speed after the monster, but the monster is moving pretty fast.
Sonic then calls out, "Speed Break!"
With that, Sonic increases his super speed as fast as he can. He continues to speed as fast as he can as he speeds past Captain Bemoth. Then Sonic jumps and grabs the final horn on top of the monster's head. Sonic pulls the monster as hard as he can. The last horn is proven to be a real struggle than the last three horns.
Sonic struggles to pull, "That horn is so hard to pull."
"Keep pulling Sonic, you almost got it!" Shahra says.
"I'll give it everything I got," Sonic says.
Sonic pulls as hard as he can as he accelerates his speed to get more force. Finally, Sonic is able to pull the final horn off of the spirit's head as electricity is being exposed from its body. Sonic jumps off and lands on the ground. Shahra appears before Sonic as the monster screams in agony as electricity flows around its body. First it falls to the ground, then it explodes and flies in the ocean.
Sonic calls out, "Hey, cheer up! The horns will grow back eventually!"
Shahra giggles in reply.
Suddenly, something flies out from the water and descends from the sky towards Sonic. What they see is a cyan blue ring gently falling from the sky.
"That's another of the seven rings... the Water Blue Ring," Shahra says.
She tries to touch the ring, but she can't get a hold of it, "I can't even touch the ring."
"Looks like I'm the only one that can touch them. I betcha because I'm not from this world. Does that mean these rings aren't from these world, either?" Sonic replies.
And Sonic's theory is possible. Shahra tries to catch the ring, but it falls right into Sonic's hand below. As soon as Sonic grabs hold of the ring, sparks come out of it.
"Sonic…" Shahra says.
"This has to be the ring that Sinbad was telling us about before. Now, let's go back and defeat that, um... whatchamacallit," Sonic says, looking at the ring.
"The Ifrit, the great spirit of fire," Shahra says.
Suddenly, they hear a voice, "Sonic! Shahra!"
Sonic and Shahra turn to see Ali Baba who is flying toward them with his twin tails, just like tails.
"Ali Baba? What are you doing here?" Sonic asks.
"I want to tell you there's something going on at the castle," Ali Baba says.
"Are you sure?" Shahra asks.
Ali Baba nods his head and says, "There's smoke coming from the castle! It looks like the Ifrit's power to burn the world away is getting stronger!"
"Okay, I'm ready! I hope you're ready for this, genie!" Sonic says.
"Yes. I'm ready. Then let's hurry," Shahra says.
With that, Sonic, Shahra, and Ali Baba head off together to return to the castle which is a secret foundry and defeat the Ifrit.
