The Secret of the Rings Episode 10: Arabian Nights Last Chapter

After placing the Seven World Rings in the slots, the door unlocks and opens before their eyes. Once open, Sonic and Shahra enter. There, Erazor Djinn's sword is standing on the ground, and the evil genie appears.

"You just don't give up, do you?" Sonic questions.

Soon, Erazor Djinn says, "You've brought me all seven World Rings. Well done!"

"Hey, of course! We're such good buddies, after all!" Sonic says in remark.

Suddenly, Erazor calls out, "Shahra!"

Shahra looks at Erazor Djinn in silence.

And Eraor Djinn says, "You have done well in using him to gather the rings. Now, give them to me!"

"Hey, hold on! Aren't you going to do something about this?" Sonic asks, pointing to the flame on his chest.

And the flame has gotten smaller, meaning time is almost out. Shahra continues to remain silent.

Erazor then reaches his hand out to Shahra and says, "Shahra, please, quickly! Let us rule the world together!"

Soon, Shahra has the Seven World Rings gather around her as she flies toward Erazor Djinn.

Shocked, Sonic calls out, "Shahra?! Wh-what's...?"

"I... I must…" Shahra says, sounding reluctant.

But Sonic calls out, "Shara, stop! You can't do this! Think about what will happen!"

Feeling remorse, Shahra says, "I'm sorry. I have no choice... I just want to be back with him."

"No!" Sonic shouts, "As Genie of the Ring. I command you! 'Do what you truly think is right!'" And rubs the ring.

He feels that it will be wrong to do so, but he wants Shahra to do what she thinks is right.

Suddenly, Shahra becomes confused after granting Sonic's wish. Almost like she's debating on what she wants and what she believes is right.

Shahra screams, "Ahhh... aaaaah!" And faints on the spot.

Sonic rushes towards her, "Shahra!"

Sonic kneels to Shahra and shakes her, Shahra, are you alright?! Shahra?!"

Suddenly, all the Seven World Rings begin to appear next to Erazor Djinn as he recites, "Prayers - Sadness - Rage - Hatred - Joy - Pleasure - Wishes. The seven hearts that make up the stories. These are the seven World Rings that bind these pages together!"

"Wha...!" Sonic says, shocked.

But then, Erazor turns to Sonic and says, "But the life of the collector of the rings shall be offered up in sacrifice as the key for that control.' Then Erazor raises his blade, "I offer up YOUR life, blue hedgehog!

"Then Erazor tries to strike Sonic with his razor to end his life, and Sonic closes his eyes waiting for the impact. When it doesn't come, and feels a strong embrace, Sonic opens his eyes. To his shock, Shahra has used her own body as a shield to protect Sonic from Erazor's blade. Shara falls, along with the metal orb she has given to Sonic.

Sonic cries out, "Shahra!"

Sonic quickly kneels down and gently picks her up.

Weakened by the attack, Shahra looks at Sonic with remorse in her eyes, "Sonic... I'm... sorry. I knew... all along... I knew what would happen, and I still got you involved."

"It's okay. It's not your fault," Sonic reassures.

"Did I change my destiny? Did I keep our promise?" Shahra asks, and doesn't have much longer.

Seeing Shahra struggle, Sonic says, "Shahra! Grant me a wish! I wish for you to not die and to go back to the way you were!"

"I'm so sorry, Master. I... cannot grant…" Shahra says with tears in her eyes, and with her last breath.

Shahra dies in Sonic arms, and her ring on Sonic's finger breaks off, and falls to the ground.

"Shahra…" Sonic says, in sadness.

He then gently places her on the ground and picks up the broken pieces of the ring.

Seeing Shahra's demise, Erazor scoffs it off, "Hmph. In the end, such is the weak power of a Genie of the Ring."

Suddenly, all the Seven World Rings enter Erazor Djinn's body, and suddenly, begins to transform.

Erzor Djinn screams, "Ugh? Hrrrrgh! Wooaaarrrgh!"

Sonic is shocked to see Erazor Djinn is beginning to transform into a horrifying monster, an enormous purple ball with seven talon-like arms and single eye emerging from it.

Soon, Sonic and the monstrous being find themselves in some space-like area.

Suddenly, the monstrous form calls out, "I am Alf Layla wa-Layla. I AM the Arabian Nights. I will be its new creator! I will remake this world and this reality in my own image!

"This is awful. You're just some incomplete monster…" Sonic says, shocked.

Suddenly, sparks appear from Alf Layla wa-Layla. Then three of the Seven World Rings leave his body. And then, the three rings enter Sonic's body

"Aaahhhh!" Sonic screams in pain.

And soon, Sonic begins to transform as well. Soon, Sonic's fur and arms become a deep indigo color, and his skin turns pale white. He also gains a single, thick white stripe around his feet, and some more near his elbows, as well as a pair of much thinner white stripes that go up his forehead and down his upper middle quill, and a secondary pair of stripes on his lower middle quill. In addition, Sonic's pupils and irises disappear entirely. His eyes also become slightly more angular in shape, and his quills hang lower than usual. In terms of attire, Sonic loses his trademark gloves and shoes and instead gains four glowing golden rings around his wrists and ankles. His voice also undergoes a slight change: becoming much gruffer, but maintaining its normal pitch. He is also constantly enveloped in a large, flaming, orange aura. Sonic is now a new form known as Darkspine Sonic.

Sonic holds onto the broken Ring and says, "We've got to stop him…" He then opens his hand to reveal the broken ring.

He then calls out, "Shahra! Please, lend me your power!"

Now, Sonic has transformed and is now facing Alf Layla wa-Layla who has taken a more stable form.

Now Alf Layla wa-Layla is a horribly grotesque, humanoid pink demon with seven holes in him that shoot white fire; two on his chest, one on each foot, one on each side on his spine, and one on his head that forms a single, horrific eye. He has no nose, an enormous mouth with shark-like teeth, six arms, each with a large corresponding inscribed muscle in his chest and an enormous, bulging torso. From the knees down, his legs are long, thin and segmented, like insect legs. The four World Rings that he keeps are attached to his shoulders and thighs, and he belches white fire from his head. He has a long, sharp scorpion-like tail (which is basically just Erazor's sword transformed) with several spikes running down the back of the upper part of it.

Alf Layla wa-Layla calls out, "I am… the creator… The stories of this world… are mine…"

"If this is your world, then it's a world that I don't want any part of!" Sonic calls out.

Alf Layla wa-Layla bellows in laughter.

Sonic, who has transformed, begins to fly through the darkness as begins to approach Alf Layla wa-Layla.

Suddenly, Sonic hears Shahra's voice, "Sonic, watch out for his power. I know you can defeat him."

"Shahra!" Sonic says, surprised, hearing her voice.

Alf Layla wa-Layla laughs, "Mwahahaha! You think you are a match for me?"

"I don't think, I know!" Sonic answers.

Sonic flies towards Alf Layla wa-Layla, but the monstrous genie begins to perform his attack with his beams of light. Sonic dodgers the attacks and draws himself closer to the monster before him. Alf Layla wa-Layla uses his tail to try to attack Sonic, but Sonic quickly dodges the attack.

Suddenly, Alf Layla wa-Layla flies back and is getting ready for a powerful attack. He gathers the energy to make a large powerful ball of energy.

"It would take a miracle for you to avoid my attack!" Alf Layla wa-Layla says.

And then throws the large ball of energy. With all his own energy, Sonic is able to stop the giant ball of energy. With all his powers and his might, Sonic pushes the energy ball away.

"HA! How's this for an introduction, then?" Sonic says.

Seeing Alf Layla wa-Layla being attacked by his own power, Sonic flies over and attacks Alf Layla wa-Layla at his weak spot, which is the center eye. Alf Layla wa-Layla screams in pain and agony. Then the monstrous genie regains his focus and begins to throw another attack. Just then, Alf Layla wa-Layla creates a whirlpool.

Sonic notes to himself, "I have to stay clear of that Whirlpool…"

Sonic then uses "Time Break."

With that, time stays still as Alf Layla wa-Layla slowly throws the whirlpool. The Time Break wears off and everything moves forward again. Sonic is also able to ditch the whirlpool.

Sonic says to himself, "Maybe Speed Break might help…" and calls out, "Speed Break!"

Sonic accelerates his speed and is able to draw closer to Alf Layla wa-Layla. Just then, Alf Layla wa-Layla creates a ball of energy for another powerful attack. Then he throws it at Sonic. Sonic is able to hold the large ball of energy.

Suddenly, Sonic hears Shahra's voice, "Wow! You're really using up your energy!"

With that, Sonic then throws the ball at Alf Layla wa-Layla. Then Sonic comes in for a full attack throwing hard punches at him. Suddenly, Alf Layla wa-Layla seems to start to drain, and struggles to withstand the power from the other Four Rings.

Alf Layla wa-Layla shouts, "Gwaaah! How can you have this power?!"

Sonic then uses, "Time Break!"

And freezes time as the whirlpool appears. Sonic uses it to dodge the whirlpools Alf Layla wa-Layla throws at him. When Sonic gets closer, Alf Layla wa-Layla his tail to slice at Sonic, but the hedgehog dodges attack as fast as he can. Sonic continues to dodge the attack can throw at him.

Soon, Alf Layla wa-Layla charges his power for another powerful attack of a giant energy attack.

Suddenly, Sonic hears Shahra's voice, "Sonic, if you can throw that energy ball back at him once more, you should be able to reach him for a final attack."

Sonic nods his head and sees Alf Layla wa-Layla throw the giant energy ball. Sonic then uses all his strength and power to hold off the energy ball. Then with all his might, he throws it back at Alf Layla wa-Layla. Once the monstrous demon is down, Sonic charges and gives him another round of hard punches and kicks. Soon, Sonic gives Alf Layla wa-Layla the final blow with all his might.

Alf Layla wa-Layla screams in agony, "Rrrraaargh!"

And soon, the monstrous genie has fallen.

"Your tale is finished, Erazor! Next time, try writing a better story!" Sonic says in remark.

Erazor has changed back to his original dorm as he lies in the middle of the space. Darkspine Sonic starts floating down to ground level. Then, Sonic has returned to his original form, and the flame has disappeared from his chest. Soon, both Sonic and Erazor Djinn are back in the

"Erazor grabs his razor, "I shall not be defeated!" and uses it to help stand on his knees, "If you defeat me, I will simply return, again and again! I am immortal! I cannot be vanquished! Muhhuhu-hahaha!"

Unknown to Erazor, Sonic is holding a lamp behind his back. He then presents it to Erazor Djinn.

The Evil Genie is shocked to see the lamp, "That can't be!? That's...the-"

Sonic remembers when Shahra gives him the metal orb.

Flashback 1:

"I want you to hold on to this," Shahra says, and gives it to Sonic.

Flashback 2:

Then remembers when Shahra was dying.

Sonic says, "...go back to the way you were!"

When the metal orb has already fallen to the ground, it transforms into a lamp.

Upon seeing the lamp, Sonic understands why it's final resort and why Shahra wants him to hold on to it. Shahra has Erazor Djinn's lamp all along, and the reason why she can't use it is because she's a genie herself.

Flashback Ends:

With the lamp in his hand, Sonic knows that it's time for him to use it.

"The genie of the lamp is supposed to grant three wishes, am I right?" Sonic questions.

Of course, Erazor refuses, "I will never grant any wish from the likes of you!"

"Hm!" Sonic replies, and sits on the throne.

Then Sonic commands, "My first wish. Bring Shahra back to life!"

Then Sonic points the lamp at Erazor. The lamp shoots him on the chest, and forces him to grant Sonic's wish.

"Ugh!" Erazor struggles in pain, "My body... My body is…"

Then a light comes from his chest. The light flies to Sonic' finger and transforms into Shahra's ring. And right before Sonic's eyes, Shahra rematerializes and soon, she opens her eyes.

Then Sonic says his second wish, "My second wish. Return the Arabian Nights to the way you were, so that the world can have its stories again!"

"Wha!" Erazor says, shocked.

Then is shot by the lamp again, "Ugh!"

Soon, all the Arabian Nights characters come out of Erazor's body and leave through the door. The Arabian Nights is free and going back where it belongs.

Erazor, "M-my…"

And then, Sonic commands his third and final wish, "My third wish. Erazor Djinn! You shall live out the rest of time, trapped inside your lamp as you were in days of old!" And points the lamp at Erazor.

Then Erazor gets hot for the third and last time, and is knocked back a long distance. And soon, purple sparks surround his body.

Erazor struggles, "Ugh... ugh... ugh!"

Soon, a hurricane forms all around Erazor Djinn, and Sonic's last wish begins to be performed.

Erazor calls out, "Shahra. I know you're there! Please, stop him! We can start over, the two of us! I swear! I swear it!"

Then Erazor screams in rage, "The world is mine! I cannot be denied by that filthy rat"

Soon the hurricane engulfs Erazor, and screams, "Whyyyyy?!" As he's being sucked back into his lamp.

"I told you. I'm not a RAT!" Sonic says.

Then Erazor enters his lamp as Sonic closes it. All that is left is a small fire on the tip.

"I'm a HEDGEHOG!" Sonic says, and puts out the fire.

Soon, Shahra feels sad, and Sonic notices it.

Sonic then asks, "Shahra... Will you grant me one more wish?"

Shahra soon looks at Sonic.

Then Sonic says, "I wish for a mountain of handkerchiefs."

Shahra grants Sonic wishes and handkerchiefs come from the sky.

"Now, just let yourself cry. As much as you need to. You'll have plenty of handkerchiefs to help you through it," Sonic says.

Soon, handkerchiefs start entering the palace and reach Shahra.

Shahra shows a sad smile and says, "Thank you... Sonic the Hedgehog. The Legendary Hedgehog."

Time has gone by for Sonic, Shahra, and the friends in the Arabian Nights. Sonic and Shahra head to the Evil Foundry. And Sonic drops Erazor's lamp into the lava, never to be seen again. Then Sonic visits the creators of the Arabian nights. Then Sonic, Shahra, Ali Baba and Sinbad had grand adventures across the Arabian Nights until Sonic is soon able to find his way home.

On the day Sonic is leaving, Shahra, and the others of the Arabian Nights are wishing Sonic their farewell and to wish him luck on getting home. Sonic raises his pinky to Shahra, and Shahra does the same, remembering the promise they have. Sonic then walks to the portal and stands there. Before that, Sonic turns to Shahra and the others and waves goodbye. Shahra smiles and waves goodbye as well. Then Sonic walks through the portal, hoping to get back home.

Shahra then says, "Goodbye Sonic. I hope we'll meet again, someday."

Sonic appears in a white abyss of the portal and is soon teleported back to his home world.

Soon, Sonic has his eyes closed, like he's asleep. He lets out a grunt and a groan as he opens his eyes.

"Sonic, it's time to wake up," Eve calls out.

Sonic quickly sits up in surprise. He looks around to find himself in his bedroom. He then turns to the doorway to see Eve walking inside the bedroom.

"Morning Sonic, I came to check if you're up. Mom has been calling you for some time," Eve says.

Sonic looks at Eve in surprise, but is also glad that he has finally been back to his home world, back to his friends, family, and everyone he cares about. Either way, he is glad to be home.

"Are you okay, Sonic?" Eve asks.

"Oh, I'm fine. Anyway, you were saying something," Sonic says.

"Um yeah. Mom has finished making breakfast and has tried to call you down," Eve says.

"Oh, sure. I'll get there right away," Sonic says.

He then jumps off of bed and leaves the room with Eve.

Sonic says, "Hey Eve, remember you told me how you ended up in the story of King Arthur?"

"Yeah…" Eve replies.

Sonic laughs and says, "Well, I ended up in the story of the Arabian Nights."

"Really? That's something I love to hear," Eve says.

"I'll tell you after breakfast, and trust me, it's a cool adventure," Sonic says.

Sonic and Eve begin to head down stairs to have breakfast and Sonic can't wait to tell Eve of the adventures he has in the Arabian Night and talk about his friend, Shahra.
