Nothing sexual happens in this chapter. Garrus is only providing comfort for a stressed-out Leena. Don't forget to participate in the poll!

The landscape around me was in ruins. No matter how far I walked I couldn't find anyone. The mission to stop Saren had failed and the Reapers killed everything and everyone. I couldn't even find Cypher.

"Leena"

Turning around I came face to face with Saren. He looked pleased about this victory and finding me. The older turian then approached and it wasn't long until I was in his arms and he was kissing me. The landscape changed and we were in a lavish bedroom.

"Now you are mine" Saren purred while gently nipping my neck. I wanted to speak but words never came. Where was Garrus? Where was the turian I loved? In my heart, I knew Garrus had to be dead and that was enough to wake me up.

Reality

I sat up and looked around the room. Thank god that had only been a dream and not real. I wasn't even aware I had tears sliding down my face. I was currently on the Normandy and our destination was the planet Therum.

Cypher was sound asleep but I wasn't sure if I could sleep again after the terrible dream I just had. I needed to talk to Garrus and I hoped he was still awake. I got out of bed and quietly wrote a note for Cypher where I would be in case he woke up to find me gone. Most of the crew was sound asleep as I walked in the direction of Garrus's room.

If the male turian wasn't awake I would go back to my room and try to fall asleep again. My heart began to pound when I found myself outside of Garrus's quarters. But before I could even knock the door opened and a concerned Garrus Vakarian looked at me.

"Leena? Are you alright? I had a feeling you were outside my door"

I would have answered had Garrus not been shirtless. Holy shit he was gorgeous and I did my best not to stare. He wore the typical pants his kind wore. Regaining my composure I asked if I could come in and the turian consented. Once the door shut behind him did Garrus ask what was wrong.

However, instead of words I simply hugged him. Tears slid down my face and Garrus wrapped one arm around me and using his free hand he stroked my hair.

"Bad dream I see"

"You were dead," I told him. "It scared me enough that I woke up and had to make sure you were still alive"

"You can stay here with me" Garrus reassured me.

He wiped the rest of my tears away before suddenly lifting me off the floor. A short walk later he lay me on the bed and pulled the covers back. He then slid in right next to me and he drew me close to him. By him holding me I calmed down and felt sleep coming back. Before I closed my eyes Garrus pressed a kiss onto my forehead.

Garrus's POV

I ended up falling asleep not long after Leena did. When I woke the clock read it was early morning and the black panther shifter still slept in my arms. I couldn't explain why I knew she was outside of my door in the middle of the night. The fact I had died in her dream scared her enough to come find me.

Without waking her I caressed her cheek with my right hand. This female from Earth was special to me and I wasn't going to stand around and let that son of a bitch Saren touch her. The only thing that mattered to me was that this beautiful woman was mine. It wasn't until a few months ago I came to realize I loved Leena Burke.

She was the woman I wanted as my mate and wife. Not only was she sexy but, she was also smart, skilled, the list could go on and on. At times I saw her naked and underneath me as I made love to her in my thoughts. Damn now I was starting to get aroused and the last thing I didn't need to do was stain the sheets with my bodily fluids.

Only this sleeping female could affect me this much. I inhaled her scent and that made me relax. For another hour the panther shifter slept until she eventually groaned. Her eyes opened in a groggy manner.

"How long have you been watching me sleep Vakarian?"

"Not too long I woke about an hour ago" I replied. "No more bad dreams it seems"

"No thank god"

She then placed a hand on my face.

"Thank you for letting me stay"

I only nodded and like last night I kissed her forehead.

Leena's POV

I made it back to my room without incident and took a shower. Cypher was awake when I was finished.

"So you were with Garrus huh?" the Metal Dragon asked.

His question was harmless. I told him about my dream and Cypher understood. He then cracked a joke about enjoying the bed to himself and I burst out laughing. The two of us then went to get some breakfast and I definitely needed a cup of coffee.
