Leena's POV

"Don't you think you calibrated enough?" I teased Garrus as he was messing around with some of the Normandy's machinery. One of the transports had a minor issue that I finished fixing about an hour ago.

Garrus snorted before turning in my direction.

"Do my calibrations bother you?"

He was teasing of course and I punched his arm in reprimand. The turian surprised me by suddenly dipping me beneath him and we shared a quick kiss. When my boyfriend pulled me back up the doors opened and Shepard entered. Cypher sat on his shoulder.

"You know you two are cute together" the human male complimented.

I blushed and muttered my thanks while Garrus decided to give me a quick peck on the cheek.

"We're about to land on Feros" Shepard went on. "I'm choosing the two of you to come with me along with Cypher"

"I'm eager to scorch more Geth" Cypher added.

"I'm sure you do" the Commander chuckled.

"Or he simply wants to impress Liara" I teased with a smirk.

"HEY!" the Metal Dragon protested.

I had been right when I suspected Cypher had a crush on Liara. Whenever the goofball wasn't with me or Garrus most of the time he was with the young Asari. Shepard dismissed me and Garrus so we could get ready for the mission ahead. Back in my room, I changed into the black armor and I made sure my guns were ready to use.

I rejoined Garrus and Commander Shepard just as the Normandy landed. Cypher flew to my shoulder and a few minutes later we exited the Normandy and onto Feros. The smell of smoke was everywhere as was the scent of death. My inner cat was antsy as our group approached the human who was waiting for us.

"We saw your ship Fai Dan wants to speak with you immediately"

Shepard asked who Fai Dan was and the man answered that Fai Dan was the colony's leader. Apparently, there were a lot of geth here. No sooner had he told us where to go a group of geth attacked. Our group returned fire and Cypher was already burning the geth to cinders. Like on Therum the Metal Dragon couldn't be seen thanks to his illusion gift.

But unlike on Therum, the geth numbers were larger which was a pain in the ass. Upon entering a building several Geth Stalkers surprised us but thanks to Garrus's sniping and Cypher's dragon fire the ugly bastards were easily finished.

"I got a bad feeling about this place," I told the boys as we continued onwards while still keeping an eye on our surroundings.

When we came out of the building we crossed paths with several colonists. The sky was on fire and constant gunfire was heard in the distance. The colonists were scared but they were determined to protect their home to the best of their abilities. We found Fai Dan in the colony building and he was happy to see us.

"Commander I'm glad they finally sent somebody to help us"

The woman next to him made a rude comment and Fai Dan reprimanded her before turning back to us.

Fai apologized before Cypher roared and he took flight from Garrus's shoulder. Geth had entered the tower and it was another round of gunfire followed by Cypher's flames. We didn't regroup with Fai Dan until the tower was cleared.

Fai Dan thanked us and he even praised Cypher. The Metal Dragon was taking a breather on a beam above us. Shepard inquired why the geth were attacking the colony but neither Fai Dan nor the hostile woman knew why. The leader of the colony suggested checking out ExoGeni headquarters since it was the main base for the ugly bastards. ExoGeni was also the company where most of the colonists worked at.

It sounded like a good lead and the woman mentioned the skyway would take us there but Fai Dan warned us there was an army of geth between the tower and skyway. Fai Dan also mentioned there were geth in the tunnels and some sort of transmitter was there so Shepard decided we would go there first.

Cypher glided down from the beam above and flew on ahead and we followed after him. As our group made the way towards the tunnels the Metal Dragon had fun killing some geth with his dragon fire. In the tunnels, we dealt with varieties of the ugly bastards before finding the transmitter. Cypher wanted to burn it but I advised him it wasn't a good idea. Disappointed the Metal Dragon flew to my shoulder while Garrus and Commander Shepard let loose on the transmitter with their artillery.

"Remind me never to piss you off" I teased my boyfriend.

Garrus chuckled and our group headed back to where Fai Dan was. The colonist leader was thankful we dealt with the transmitter and our next task was the skyway and from there onto ExoGeni.
