Leena's POV

"Burn you motherf**kers!" Cypher roared as he took flight from Saren's shoulder and scorched any Collectors we crossed paths with as our platform moved. We aided the Metal Dragon by shooting down any Collectors he missed.

When there were no more hostiles Cypher returned to us and landed on my shoulder.

"My illusions and dragon fire will wear out soon" he announced.

"Your doing very well buddy just hang on a bit longer"

Cypher mumbled thanks while Shepard said.

"This is it all the tubes lead to this spot, EDI what can you tell us? What are they doing?"

"The tubes are feeding into some kind of super-structure it's emitting both organic and non-organic signatures, given these readings it must be massive" the AI explained.

"Holy shit" Cy and I stated at what we were seeing as the platform entered where we needed to do.

"Spirits" Saren agreed.

"My god" the Commander finished.

As EDI said the massive super structure turned out to be a god damn Reaper. And it wasn't just any Reaper it was a human-Reaper. The platform connected to several others but our attention never left the giant Reaper above us.

Connected to the Reaper were tubes containing what remained of the humans who had been kidnapped and processed. According to EDI, more humans were needed to complete the damn thing.

"No more" Saren growled. "How do we destroy this monstrosity EDI?"

"The large tubes injecting fluid are a weak structural link, destroying them should cause the supports to collapse and the Reaper to fall"

Some Collectors chose that moment to show up and giving Cypher a break we shot the annoying bastards down before Shepard made the first round into one of the tubes. It exploded and Saren was next to shoot two more.

"Leena destroy the last tube!" Shepard yelled as he and Saren focused on dealing with more Collectors. I focused my guns on the last tube and fired them like no tomorrow. My rounds got the last tube to explode and the Reaper lurched forward before it fell into the unknown abyss below us.

The Commander checked with the ground team and they were all still alive. He then ordered everyone to get back to the Normandy and told Joker to prep the engines. The human male then began to work on the overloading, while he worked Joker said the Illusive Man wanted to talk and Saren used his omni-tool to activate the call.

A middle-aged man appeared before us in a projection.

"Shepard you've done the impossible"

"I was part of a team, some of them gave their lives for the mission" Shepard replied while continuing the overload.

This crazy bastard wanted us to leave the Collector Base intact. Saren growled before cutting the message off.

"Nice one," I told the older turian.

"He was insane, this base must be destroyed" Saren responded.

We then assisted Shepard with the overload and soon it was finished. Just as we were about to leave the platform moved and the f**king Reaper was alive!

Cypher roared before taking flight and he transformed into his larger self and began to burn the Reaper alive. We helped the Metal Dragon by firing our guns at the Reaper's weak points. The Reaper then raised its massive arm and it hit something to make the platform unstable. Cypher used his tail to separate the Reaper from us and he was quick to gather us in his claws before the platform fell.

With a flap of his wings, he flew down to a lower level and set us onto solid ground before reverting to his smaller form and he flew to my shoulder. Shepard communicated with Joker and the pilot told us the others had made it back to the Normandy safely.

"Yo, we gotta book it!" I shouted as a seeker swarm appeared and Cypher immediately let out his dragon fire. The Metal Dragon continued his fiery wrath as we made our escape. Not only did he burn the swarms that chased us but also any remaining Collectors.

Outside of the base, the Normandy appeared and Joker was shooting at the Collectors who were shooting at us. I hauled ass onto the Normandy first and by then Cypher was burnt out and was fast asleep on my shoulder as Saren got onto the ship next. Shepard had to make a quick jump and he was able to catch the edge and Saren helped his fellow Spectre onto the Normandy safely.

The door shut behind us and we all got inside and braced for the impact of the explosion. I actually watched from a window and the base began to burst into flames as Joker gunned it. Soon the entire base lit up as it was destroyed and the Normandy burst forward and made it away safely from the blast.

Once it was safe to walk around I walked over to Saren. He placed a hand on my shoulder and smirked. I returned the gesture before handing Cypher over to him. The older turian reassured me he would look after the Metal Dragon before I left him.

Before going to find Garrus and the others, Shepard and I gave each other a fist bump. The others were exhausted besides being a little banged up, but they were all alive. Garrus rushed over to me and he scooped me into his arms.

He and I shared a mind-blowing kiss which earned a few wolf-whistles from the others. Some laughed before going back to work. My husband set me down on my feet and placed his forehead against mine.

"So tell me Mrs. Vakarian, are you glad our mission was successful?"

"Absolutely" was my response. "And we're still here"

"Yes, we are" my Archangel agreed. "Nothing will keep us apart my Nightshade"

He then scooped me into his arms and he ended up taking me somewhere so I could get one hell of a nap.
