Leena's POV

Shepard had to go back to the Citadel to get some business done so we were given shore leave for a couple of days. Garrus decided to stay on the Normandy for a bit to do his usual calibrations while I went back to the apartment. I took a shower before taking the sky car to go visit my parents.

Mom and Dad seemed to be enjoying their stay on the station but it was obvious they missed Earth. I spent time with them for a couple of hours before heading to the hospital. Thane was there and I wanted to see how he was doing.

I found the drell lounging in a common area.

"Leena, it's good to see you" the former assassin greeted me.

He and I shook hands before sitting down.

"It's good to see you as well Thane, how have you been?"

"I'm being treated well here, I don't know how much time I have left but I intend to make it count"

"How are things with Kolyat?"

Thane smiled at the mention of his son.

"Things are going well for us, he comes to visit me when he's not busy, by the way, are you related to Dr. Burke? I noticed he had your former last name"

It was my turn to smile.

"Yeah that's my older brother is he one of your doctors?"

"He sometimes checks my vitals" Thane answered. "He's good at what he does, I'm also glad to hear that the rest of your family is safe though I'm sure you were worried at first"

"They evacuated Earth before the invasion now seeing Garrus leave for Palaven was hard"

"He's not with you?"

"He's working on some calibrations on the Normandy"

Thane chuckled and shook his head. I hung around the hospital for a half-hour before leaving so Thane could get some rest.

"Excuse me, miss"

"Yes, what can I help you with?" I asked the Batarian man outside of the hospital entrance.

"Apologies Mrs. Leena but I come on the behalf of Aria"

Now that got me to widen my eyes. Aria was here on the Citadel?

The Batarian man was polite and told me where I needed to go so I could meet up with Aria. My destination was a dance club and bar named Purgatory. Inside people were having a good time and one of Aria's employees took me to where the badass Asari was.

"Leena long time no see" the Pirate Queen greeted me as I was brought to her.

"Likewise you look pissed off"

"Yeah I am but not with you"

I took a seat close to her and cut to the chase.

"So what can I help you with?"

"I plan on taking Omega back when the time is right" she answered looking at me. "Cerberus stole it and I already have Shepard's support along with the aide of the Blue Suns, Blood Pack, and Eclipse, but having you around would be an added bonus"

"Oh count me in, I'll gladly help you take Omega back as you said before nobody f**ks with Aria"

Aria laughed when I said those last words.

"True but from what I heard no one should f**k with you or Cypher, that Metal Dragon is an ass-kicker, if he's interested in joining this cause he's more than welcome"

"I'll pass the word just let me know when your ready to reclaim your throne"

"Will do it was good to see you, Leena"

I nodded before standing up and taking my leave. While on my way back to the sky car I got a message from Garrus and he asked me to meet with him somewhere. Wondering what my husband was up to I drove the sky car to the designated meeting spot and found my turian husband lounging against the railing.

"Hello my love"

"Hey yourself sexy"

I gave my mate a kiss on the cheek and someone nearby wolf-whistled.

"Is everything alright?"

"Yes I just wanted the two of us to do something that didn't involve fighting Reapers"

"Well they haven't conquered the bars yet and I have a good feeling that isn't where we're going"

"Indeed not" Garrus confirmed while taking the keys to the sky car from me and soon the turian was driving us to said mysterious place.

"So where exactly are we going?" I asked my husband while he drove.

"Somewhere we're not supposed to" my Archangel replied. "The whole time I worked at C-Sec I'd stare up at the top of the Presidium and say to myself I wanna go up there, but I never did there were a hundred and thirty-seven regulations telling me I couldn't"

"And so you got them changed?"

"No now I just don't give a damn"

A few minutes later we arrived at the top of the Presidium and the view was beautiful.

"Figured it was time to do something stupid just for the hell of it might be the last chance we ever get," my beloved said after the car was put in park and we got out.

"It's incredible up here" I confessed appreciating the view.

"I'd be lying if I said I didn't hope it would inspire a certain mood" Garrus stated turning to me.

"Babe the mood's already set" I informed him. "Though it would be even better if you'd just kiss me"

Garrus smirked before placing his arms around my waist and he dipped me beneath him. He and I shared a quick kiss before he pulled me back up.

"And now before we head back there is one thing we're going to settle once and for all"

My husband walked over to a gun and turned around.

"Let's see which of the two of us is really the better shot"

He then tossed me the weapon and I activated it.

"Oh bring it on Archangel"

Garrus retrieved a canister that had practice slugs in it and then threw it hard into the air. I followed the canister with the sniper scope and fired. My shot met its mark and the canister exploded.

"That was an easy one let it build up your confidence, long-range I wrote the book, nobody alive can do this, not even my beautiful and badass wife, give me a tough one my Nightshade"

I caught the canister Garrus tossed me and once he had his own gun ready I threw the canister as hard as I could. As expected Garrus shot the target dead on.

"Nice throw my love"

It was my turn to make another shot and once I was ready I had Garrus throw the canister and to my dismay I freaking missed.

"I'm Garrus Vakarian! And this is now my favorite spot on the Citadel"

I chuckled at my husband's enthusiasm and shook my head. I placed the gun down and shut Garrus up by giving him a mind-blowing kiss and he very much enjoyed it.

Saren's POV

Rue wasn't home when I arrived at the apartment. She was no doubt at work and I didn't want to bother my Little Wolf. She knew I was here for a bit so I would see her when she got home later. While unpacking in our bedroom I spotted the plush doll of me and had an idea.

I hid the doll in a place where Rue wouldn't find it and I looked forward to the challenge in which she needed to complete in order to get the plush back. And I was rather looking forward to it too.
