Leena's POV

"God I hate Tuchanka sand" Cypher complained as Cortez drove the shuttle through a sand storm.

"Normandy Shuttle! This is Lieutenant Victus with the Ninth Platoon do you copy?"

A projection of Tarquin was visible and my sister's mate looked exhausted.

"We hear you Ninth Platoon"

"We're approaching the bomb site, Commander, and getting bounced around pretty bad"

"This is as close as we can get look for somewhere to set your platoon down" Shepard advised Tarquin.

"Copy that"

The two men exchanged more dialogue and when it was revealed the bomb Cerberus had didn't belong to them I was surprised. It turned out to be turian and it had been planted centuries ago after the Krogan Rebellion. The bomb was a safeguard against another galactic war.

"Shit" Garrus, Cypher, and I said in unison.

We had to get to the damn bomb and disarm it before Cerberus could detonate it. That would end badly for the much-needed alliance between the turian and krogan. A short bit later we arrived close to the bomb site and already it was chaos.

Cypher took flight once we got out of the shuttle and began to burn any Cerberus troops alive. Ahead in the sky was Shale in her larger form and she was most likely protecting Tarquin and his men while using her own dragon fire to bring any Cerberus assholes down.

When I said it was chaotic it was damn chaotic. Every time we shot down one Cerberus soldier more just kept shooting away. After some time the first wave of Cerberus troops was dealt with but the second wave began when we entered a ruined building.

"That hurt asshole!" Cypher roared when a bullet almost hit his wing membranes. He then burned the soldier who had fired the shot.

The second wave of Cerberus troops was dealt with and over the commlink Tarquin gave us an update and his platoon was doing well. But a few minutes later my sister's mate announced his platoon was getting heavily hit and a good amount of his men were dead.

We needed to take another route so we followed Shepard and while we did Cypher burned a Cerberus shuttle while Tarquin said that Cerberus would be evacuating soon. That was not good news at all. Whatever Cerberus troops we didn't kill bailed and we hauled ass to the bomb site.

I felt my jaw drop when I saw the massive bomb ahead. We climbed a ladder and traveled through some more ruins and dealt with any Cerberus troops before continuing onward. We eventually met up with Tarquin and his surviving men. Cerberus had set up a firewall and Tarquin needed to create a bypass which would take time.

Just as Tarquin went to work the two turians with him were shot down and Shale suddenly shrieked. The Metal Dragoness had been shot in her other wing and she had no choice but to revert to her smaller form and glide to where we were. Cypher was pissed now and he was giving the Cerberus troops hell for hurting his sister. Shepard and Garrus covered for Tarquin while I tended to Shale's wing. It was torn up pretty bad and while the medi-gel would stop the bleeding she wouldn't be able to fly for several days.

"Cypher take down that Cerberus shuttle!" I shouted.

Cypher roared in response before transforming to his larger form and he flew straight at the shuttle.

"Eat this mo**her***kers!" the silver Metal Dragon shouted before sending out a stream of dragon fire at the shuttle.

While Tarquin worked I had Shale in one arm while firing rounds at any Cerberus troops that tried to shoot at Tarquin.

"The firewall is down!" Tarquin shouted. "Spirits! Cerberus hacked the trigger mechanism it's set to detonate!"

"Disarm it Tarquin! I got you covered!" I yelled.

My sister's mate had to separate the trigger from the bomb so Tarquin began to climb up the structure holding the bomb. I shot down another Cerberus soldier just as Cypher landed beside me. I put Shale on my shoulder and she held onto my armor using her claws as I climbed onto Cypher's back.

Cy opened his wings and took flight. I saw part of the bomb was stuck and Tarquin was throwing crap out of it. Immediately I had Cypher fly to where Tarquin was and told the turian Lieutenant to get his ass on Cypher's back. Tarquin was quick to get onto the Metal Dragon's back behind me and Cypher used his massive tail to break apart the piece of machinery Tarquin had been trying to undo.

"Move it Cy the bomb's gonna fall!"

"You don't need to tell me twice!" my buddy answered as he flapped his wings like no tomorrow and flew away just as the bomb fell. A few seconds later the bomb exploded and Tarquin breathed a sigh of relief.

"You just saved my life, Leena, thank you"

"You dying would devastate my sister and I hate seeing her cry," I told him as Cypher flew in the direction where Shepard and Garrus were.

"I need a damn vacation" Shale growled.

"Same here sis if I see the Illusive Man I'm gonna kill him for hurting you"

Back on the Normandy

Still Leena's POV

Once on the Normandy, I got Tarquin and Shale into the medical wing. I didn't leave until Mordin and Dr. Chawkwas reassured me they would be alright. Eve was a little shaken up that a bomb had been on Tuchanka but after hearing what Tarquin did she was grateful. Cypher was back with Liara and he took his sweet time taking a shower until the damn sand from Tuchanka was out of his scales.

I ended up having a shower myself before going to find my husband. But first I wanted to see how the Primarch was doing. I found him with Wrex and from the looks of things the turian and krogan had just finished having an important conversation.

"Leena are you alright? I was worried when I heard what happened with the bomb"

"I'm okay Wrex no worries"

"Shit I'm glad to hear that"

The krogan male then gave me an affectionate pat on the shoulder before leaving.

"Leena I can't thank you enough for saving Tarquin's life" the Primarch stated.

"You didn't deserve to lose your son and my sister needs her mate" I pointed out. "It isn't a bad idea to go see Tarquin in the medical wing"

"I was about to head there again Leena I'm in your debt along with Garrus, Commander Shepard, and that rambunctious Metal Dragon of yours"

"He was eager to get the sand out of his scales" I chuckled.

"I'm not fond of Tuchanka's sand either" the older turian joked.

The two of us then parted ways and I found Garrus once more in the Main Battery. But he wasn't calibrating just looking at some data on a console.

"Leena Vakarian you are going to be the death of me" my husband scolded as he turned to face me. But soon he was smiling. "But I couldn't be more proud of you my love"

"I wasn't trying to scare you babe I just couldn't let Tarquin die up there"

"I understand just the next time you decide to save someone's life be careful"

"Ha! That's coming from the turian who had half of Omega wanting him dead!"

"True but you like my scars and speaking of scars"

Garrus decided to lock the doors again along with disabling the audio and camera feed. My husband then lowered my tank top until my scars that I received from the Husk became visible. Garrus lowered his head and when his mouth plates touched my flesh I jumped. But soon I was moaning as my Archangel licked my scars with his tongue.

Having enough I claimed my husband's mouth plates with my lips and kissed the ever-living crap out of him.

"Are you sure you don't want to continue this?" Garrus purred while giving my neck a nip.

"One time having sex in here was enough and if you don't stop nipping me my underwear is going to be ruined again"

"You should consider not wearing those damn things from time to time"

"Says the turian who destroys my said undergarments"

My comment got Garrus to chuckle. After returning the Main Battery back to normal he threw me over his shoulder and back in our quarters he had his way with me and another pair of my underwear got destroyed in the process.
