Leena's POV
Before heading into the elevator we killed a few more Adjutants. I wish Cypher was with us because his dragon fire would have been useful to kill these ugly ass Reaper beings. As the elevator rose Aria voiced her displeasure at hearing one of the mine drills straining.
The elevator stopped and we exited. For a bit, things were quiet until we found a group of Cerberus soldiers on guarding duty. With the Pirate Queen, the leader of the Talons, a Spectre, and myself the Cerberus idiots were taken down with ease. Getting to the reactor proved to be another story. Aria had suggested the maintenance elevator but we had to take an alternate route to get to it which was a pain in the ass.
We also dealt with more groups of Cerberus resistance along the way. A short elevator ride later we were on the level we needed to be on. According to Aria the elevator to the reactor was close by and we didn't meet many enemies along the way. We took the elevator to the reactor and the way things had been quiet had me on edge.
"I smell a trap," I told the others as we got closer to the reactor. No sooner had I said those words were the four of us surrounded by force fields.
Then Cocky Bastard decide to make himself known via a projection.
"I commend you, your plan of attack was impeccable" Petrovsky greeted.
Yep, this had been a trap.
"I knew the reactor would be the hard target I gave you no choice but this route" Petrovsky continued.
"Hey do us a favor you ass and shut the hell up" I snapped. "Omega won't be yours for much longer and Aria plans on dealing with you afterward"
Cocky Bastard ignored me and continued with his bullshit speech while Aria looked around as though she had an idea. She then approached the force field.
"I'm not going out like this" she spat before placing her hands on the force field and she began to try and pull it apart.
Petrovsky's projection went away as Mechs entered. Shepard, Nyreen, and I brought the bastards down. Nyreen then went over to Aria and helped her contain the force field using her biotics. Shepard chose that moment to haul ass through the barrier. The human male hurried to where the reactor controls were while Aria, Nyreen, and I continued firing rounds at the Mechs.
Cocky Bastard was trying to persuade the Commander over the commlink while Aria told Shepard to just finish with the reactor because the three of us were getting exhausted. Shepard told Petrovsky to f**k off and he rerouted the power.
The force fields came down and I helped Nyreen up. She had gotten hurt during the gunfight with the Mechs. Aria had given her some Medi-Gel and it seemed to ease the turian's pain. We got back into the elevator and before the doors closed I gave any remaining Mechs double the bird.
"You okay Aria? That was badass what you did in the reactor"
"Yes I'm fine but a little worn out"
The Pirate Queen then praised Shepard before turning to Nyreen.
"You fought bravely against those Mechs in there very impressive"
Nyreen mumbled her thanks and the Talon Leader was getting reports. Omega's civilians were now fighting against the general's forces and Cerberus for now was pulling back.
"That won't last," Shepard said.
"I agree it won't" Aria responded.
"I have an idea if it's okay with the two of you"
I had Aria and the Commander's attention.
"I'll go with Nyreen to protect the civilians while you the two of you deal with what comes next"
Just then Bray came over the commlink saying Cerberus was forcing engineers to set up explosives on the station's main central support columns. Aria told Bray to delay things before she informed us if the main column was destroyed the way to Afterlife would be cut off and the Talons would be in trouble.
"Nyreen, you and Leena lead the frontal assault as well as saving any civilians, we'll regroup in the markets after the bombs are dealt with"
I nodded and soon the two of them exited the elevator. Nyreen and I eventually got up to the surface and together we lead the frontal assault along with aiding any civilians who needed our help. At one point Aria said the bombs were dealt with and we were making our way through the Gozu District.
"Aria is gonna kill me but I'm heading to Afterlife" Nyreen informed me after we made a stop at another Talon outpost.
"Your relentless you know that?" I joked with the turian woman. "But if you're going to Afterlife I'm going with you"
Nyreen smirked and soon the two of us headed in the direction of Aria's club. I swore when I saw the Cerberus logo on the club. I followed Nyreen up some rafters and below Cerberus men were being killed by Adjutants.
"I've had enough of these bastards" Nyreen spat and soon the two of us jumped down from the rafters. Together the two of us unleashed our artillery on the Adjutants. However, the ugly Reaper beings were beginning to surround us. Suddenly Cypher appeared out of nowhere and he unleashed one stream of his dragon fire at the Adjutants closest to us.
Then the Metal Dragon did the same with the other group of Adjutants.
"Those f**kers were ugly" Cy growled as he landed on my shoulder.
"You were supposed to be resting" I scolded him.
"My wing was healed enough to fight a little more" Cy countered.
I dropped the subject and I made sure Nyreen was okay. Aria and Shepard chose that moment to arrive and she looked relieved that Nyreen was okay. The Pirate Queen then looked at her club and she let out a battle cry and ran forward.
We followed after her but just as we found Petrovsky, Aria got trapped and a force field surrounded her. I made Cypher kill any Adjutants while Shepard, Nyreen, and I shot down any Cereberus assholes who got in our way. One by one the generators that held Aria in her trap were shot down. Aria was then released and Cypher flew in Cocky Bastard's direction.
Petrovsky let out a loud yelp and when we found him Cypher had his fangs deep in the bastard's right hand. I stormed over to Petrovsky and gave him a hard punch to the face. Cypher then released Petrovsky's hand and flew over to Shepard's shoulder.
"That was for hurting Cypher you bastard and now someone else wants to see you"
I grabbed the General's jacket collar and shoved him at Aria. The Pirate Queen took charge and let Petrovsky endure a brief torture session before letting him go.
"I'll let Shepard decide your fate," Aria told him.
The Commander thought it was better to keep Petrovsky alive since he had valuable information on the Illusive Man and Cerberus. Bray took the general away and after Aria breathed a sigh of relief she went over to Nyreen and kissed her.
I smirked and Cypher let out a wolf whistle. After the kiss, Nyreen bid us farewell and went to go aid anyone outside of Afterlife.
"Thanks to you three I have Omega back," Aria said looking at us. "A lot of rebuilding needs to be done along with other things and as promised my troops, ships, and a mountain of eezo are yours, Bray will take you guys back to the Citadel"
Before leaving I offered my hand out to the Pirate Queen.
"I enjoyed fighting alongside you Aria"
Aria smirked before placing her hand into mine and we shook hands.
"See you around Leena, and Cypher behave yourself"
"Yes Ma'am"
As we made our way out of Afterlife, Aria's voice soon rung out.
"Citizens of Omega! Hear me! I Aria T'Loak have given you back your lives, my rule is reignited! My hand is on the controls once more and I will not let go again, each of you owes a debt, gain my favor by rounding the remaining Cerberus invaders and we will take our revenge, its their turn to tremble, their turn to bleed, going forward your lives will be hard but the price you pay is for your freedom, and hear this I will make Omega impenetrable, no one will ever threaten my domain again, from this day on the galaxy will know one hard truth, don't f**k with Omega"
I laughed when she said those last words.
"You always get these crap details, Bray?" Shepard asked the Batarian.
Bray chuckled in amusement.
"Not this time y'all got a galaxy to save so let's get you off this rock"

Back on the Normandy.
Still Leena's POV
It felt damn good to be back on the Normandy. The first thing I did was drop Cypher off with Liara before heading to my quarters and I took a long ass shower. Afterward, I went in search of my husband and I was surprised to not find him in the Main Battery. Instead, my Archangel was in the cockpit with Joker.
"Alright, my turn what's the first order an Alliance Commander gives at the start of combat?"
I did my best not to laugh because the pilot and my husband were telling jokes.
"Uh I give up"
Garrus chuckled and said that was correct.
"Alright big guy what do you call when a turian gets killed by a horrible spiky monster?"
"Friendly fire come on that goes back to Shanxi!"
"Gotta respect the classics"
"How many humans does it take to activate a dormant mass relay?"
"602, 600 to vote on it, one to ask the Asari for technical help, and one to request a seat on the Council afterward? How do you know when a turian is out of ammo?"
"He switches to the stick up his ass as a backup weapon, why does the Alliance hire pilots with brittle bone disease?"
"You're shitting me the turian military has one about me?!"
"Oh absolutely I heard it myself from a private back on Palaven"
"Alright, why does the Alliance hire pilots with brittle bone disease?"
"So their marines can beat someone in hand-to-hand drills"
"Damn you need to tell James that one"
Joker then said one last joke before I decided to sneak up on Garrus.
"Miss me?"
Both men jumped and I laughed my ass off when they turned around.
"Shit Leena! When did you get back?" Joker demanded.
"About an hour ago" I answered before turning to Garrus and I placed my forehead against his. "I missed you, babe"
"As I missed you my Nightshade" the turian purred and he pressed a kiss against my forehead.
"More like moping around, he's miserable when your away Leena" Joker added. "What the? Garrus what is that hanging out of your pocket?"
Curious to see what the pilot was talking about I looked in the direction Joker was observing and my face went blood red when I saw the pair of panties that said "Archangel's Bride" on them. Immediately I grabbed the underwear along with Garrus's hand and I dragged my mate away from the cockpit completely embarrassed.
Once we were in our room I smacked Garrus hard on the front of his armor.
"Since when did you start carrying these around?"
"Since when you left" my husband answered. "I didn't realize they were out of my pocket"
I rolled my eyes and placed the panties with my other pairs of underwear. Next, I then placed my lips against my beloved's mouth plates. Spirits I missed him when I was away. When Garrus pulled away I growled and the turian smirked before undoing his armor and the rest of his clothes. Then he peeled off mine and pushed me onto the bed.
I wrapped my legs around his waist and Garrus intertwined my left hand into his right one before pushing himself inside me completely.
"Welcome home my love," Garrus told me before he began his thrusts.
