Leena's POV
"How come I don't have one of those?" Garrus asked no one in particular as I admired my new gun. It was a Locust and Aria was the one who gifted it to me as a thank you for helping her get Omega back.
"Maybe if your good love I'll get you one after the war"
We were back on the Normandy and the moment my husband and I were in the Main Battery.
"Are you saying I don't behave my Nightshade?" my beloved teased. I shut the case containing the Locust and I turned to face my husband.
"Most of the time you do babe, but need I remind you about my coffeepot and four pairs of my panties?"
Garrus rolled his eyes just as the doors to the Battery opened and Saren walked in with Noire perched on his solider. The older turian looked between me and Garrus.
"Did I miss something?"
I heard a hint of amusement in his voice.
"Not really Garrus and I were just admiring my new gun"
I opened the case so the Spectre could get a good look at it.
"A gift from Aria" I explained as Saren admired the weapon.
"She chose well"
"So what's up? Normally you don't come in here old friend"
Saren snorted at me calling him old.
"Shepard sent me to get you and Garrus, a whole bunch of Quarian Admirals were just on board and you two have a mission aboard a Geth Dreadnought, one of the Admirals was Tali"
Immediately I left the Battery and went in search of Tali. I found her near Engineering.
"Damn it, girl! You're an Admiral now!?"
Tali chuckled before she and I shared a brief hug.
"Yes I'm an Admiral now, it's good to see you again Leena"
"Same here it's great to have you back"
Since time was of the essence I hurried to my quarters and got my armor on. My husband was already there and dressed in his too.
"I figured you would want to use this on the mission," my husband said as he placed the case containing my Locust down on a table nearby. I gave the turian a quick peck on the cheek before getting the Locust out and prepped it. Once it was fully prepped I holstered it onto my back before putting my helmet on and Garrus did the same with his.
We met up with Shepard and Tali by the cockpit. When the Normandy came out of the Relay the entire area was in battle. Joker docked the Normandy outside of the Dreadnought and it was go-time.
"Alright once we're aboard we find whatever's broadcasting the Reaper signal and shut it down" Shepard explained while the airlock shut behind us. "Tali is our expert on geth software, she'll be handling hacking and security"
"Good to have you back Tali," Garrus told the new Admiral. "And maybe with another dextro aboard, they'll get better turian food"
"As long as it's sterilized"
"Dr. Michele did get me some dextro-amino chocolate, you're welcome to it once we're back"
Immediately that got me to look at my husband. Dr. Michele was a human doctor back on the Citadel and she always had a crush on Garrus. I put my hands on my hips in a disapproving manner.
"She got you turian chocolate?" Tali and I asked.
"She said she saw it and thought of me, why?"
I then smacked my husband hard on the arm.
"Does she realize your married?" I growled. "Married to me as a matter of fact"
"I did and she reassured me it was just a simple gift I might enjoy along with Saren, to be honest, he's had more of the chocolate than I have"
"We're gonna have a talk later"
"Ouch" was all Shepard and Tali could say.
EDI then came over the intercom and notified us there was a problem. To not risk our safety Shepard would board the Dreadnought first and fix the situation. Once Shepard exited did Garrus say.
"You don't seem too happy with me my Nightshade"
"I'm not mad" I corrected. "Just possessive"
"Consider yourself lucky Garrus" Tali added. "Leena's possessive side shows she loves you enormously"
"Damn straight I do" I admitted. "And he's mine, though I can't blame Dr. Michele for trying"
"Sometimes my love you confuse me" Garrus went on. Then when Tali wasn't looking Garrus proceeded to playfully smack my rear and in return, I smacked the front of his armor.
