"Hello!" the young voice rang in the room, and the soldiers were tensed. Nobody had recognized the language. The girl slowly rose to her knees, keeping her palms first on the ramp and then slowly raising them, palms up. With her hands above the head, the girl froze, keeping a smile on her face.

"General, the gate is not shutting down. It seems we are still getting some information. If it doesn't stop soon, we will have an overload of our systems," Sgt. Harriman relayed, keeping his eyes on the graphs on the computer. He had his job to do. The rest will keep their eyes on the Guest. General Hammond looked at Captain Carter who nodded, confirming the information Sgt. Harriman relayed. General Hammond pushed the microphone button on the comms.

"Everybody, evacuate the arrival room. Close the shield, prepare for the explosion. The Arivee should be detained and placed in the observatory. Move, people."

As the order was relayed a flurry of movement filled everybody. The marines had quickly left the room as the doors started to close. Te'alc had grabbed the girl by her T-shirt and together with O'Neill had followed the military personnel. Then, quickly escorted the girl into the big room, with a big glassed balcony near the ceiling, overseeing everything in the room. O'Neill had left the former Jaffa together with the Guest as he went to the med bay and grab a small first-aid pack. The girl did have a lot of bruises and scratches.

"So, what you are saying is that you liked a message on some social web page on the internet network which proposed a theoretical situation of what will happen to you if you were to appear suddenly in a world of your last watched TV series?" summarised Dr. Jackson as he stopped after pacing along the table at which he previously sat.

Barbara exaggeratedly nodded, continuing to pick at one of the Band-Aids on her hand. Then stopped and tried to pinch herself. As nothing seemingly had happened, she let out a heavy sigh.

"Look, I understand it sounds completely outlandish. Especially considering that I know all of you at least somewhat based on what I remember from when I lasted watched the telly. And I guess for you to know that you are just some characters for other people's entertainment… I wouldn't know what to think as well. Also depending on the year, I definitely remember an episode where you had saved this weird alien who then took a job in the movie industry and tried to make a TV series proposal for you all," Barbara quickly delved into an explanation, her chin resting on her left hand as her eyes unfocused trying to remember the information from long ago. "The puppet suggestion was hilarious…" she snorted at the memory.

"Oi, focus," O'Neill clicked his fingers after Daniel had translated what Barbara just said and the girl was still lost in her memories. "The year here is 1999. Can you tell some of the things that you think we should know about?"

"Information? You always did manage to solve whatever problems you were given," deep in thought murmured Barbara. "I suppose if it is 99, you should have already met the concept of an alternate reality, courtesy of Daniel Jackson's adventure with the Quantum Mirror. And as the result of that saved the Earth from its first invasion…

"First invasion? Did she just say the first invasion?"

"But then again, in some cases… Have you already time traveled? Or had guests from an alternate reality? The question about kidnapping is not really a question, as almost every other episode you were kidnapped, or at least one of you displaced from the whole team… Weather changes, Confrontation with NID, the Robot version of SG-1, aliens impersonating the personnel" Barbara continued to list different events as the SG-1 team sat there with their eyes open.

"Sir, she has a lot of information. On us, on our actions, in past, and in the future. They are disorganized, but we can't really let anyone get their hands on her," exclaimed O'Neill as the SG-1 and General Hammond were discussing Barbara.

"I second, but should we not try and send her back, from where she came from? She is technically displaced in reality. She could be undergoing something similar to alternative Sam…" continued Sam. "By helping her get home we help her and prevent her into falling into NIDs hands."

At this moment Dr. Fraizer has entered the meeting room.

"I apologize for the delay, we had just finished with Barbara's EEG scan and it is a bit strange. I had Dr. Jackson engage Barbara from time to time to see if there would be any changes. Most of her EEG were Delta waves as if she was in transitional stage between light and deep sleep. Whenever Daniel was engaging her in discussion the EEG was showing the REM pattern. She is basically the walking contradiction: all the patterns she shows are characteristic for a person who is sleeping and definitely is not awake and participating in conversations. While testing, Daniel had suggested some of the methods that are usually used to wake a sleeping person, like pinching, pain stimuli. We had tried them, but there were no changes not in girl's behavior and not in the EEG pattern."

"So you want to say that we have a wanna-be Ancient sleeping beauty, with lots of information both on our allies and enemies, a civilian and we don't really know what to do with it?" exclaimed Jack, rubbing his eyes with fingers and then pinching the bridge of his nose.

"Not 'it', thank you very much," mumbled Barbara as she entered together with Jackson. "Look, I know you don't want to believe me…"

"Actually, we really do want to believe you," quietly interrupted the linguist.

"While I am here, I don't mind providing you the information I remember, but it may not be necessarily correct, precise, and whatever. It has been a long time since I have watched the series. Also, like… some of the knowledge… may be… intermixed… with fanfiction," the last part was barely above a whisper. Barbara stood a bit, staring at the floor. The eyes of all present were on her. They were her favorite series as she grew up. She will help them as much as she can. "You really have to decide if you want this information because as much as I saw, you had managed to overcome the problems you got in. And, like, not to rain on the parade, but information that I can share is mainly concerning SG-1 and the more global problems. Like you might want to sign Te'alc up for some parachuting. I think Daniel too… You might have to do so in Russia. So, yeah… That's about it," an awkward smile on the young girl's face reminded the military personnel that she was still young and every bit displaced from her reality.
