CH 86
When Hammersley returned to home port after being out on patrol, MacGyver went home then did some shopping. When Jim arrives home from work he walks into their bedroom and smiles at the site before him. June was lying on the overturned bed naked with sushi and chocolate covered fruits and dobs of whipped cream over her body.
Jim walked into the walk-in closet as he took his uniform off, then he walked over to the side of the bed and sat down as he removed the remaining clothing, then he got on to the bed and leaned over and kissed June.
"Welcome home" Jim said
"I miss you"
"I miss you"
"so like what you see" he look up and down her body then up to her
"Yes and i've been looking forward to this moment since our video chat"
"I know you are, so care to eat me"
"Oh I'm looking forward to it" then he kissed her once again then started eating her as well and shared food with her.
They ate it all and shared a bottle of wine that went with it. Afterwards they showered together where they made love then again in bed. June and Jim enjoyed three nights together which they both miss till MacGyver received a crash sail text message the same day Jim had off and was spending it in bed the whole day when she received the message just after eleven that morning
"Navy got no sense of timing," she said
"That's so true" they kissed before June got up and went to have a quick shower before getting dressed.
When she returns into the bedroom she went and got her sea bag then walk over and sat on the bed giving Jim a kiss
"I'll call soon as i know what is going on"
"Ok, love you"
"love you too, now get some rest cause when i return" she gives him a passionate kiss.
"I'll be waiting"
"I hope so" she kisses him once more before getting up and walking out the door with a sea bag in hand.
When she arrived on Hammersley she saw Kate "X why the crash sail"
"there was a robbery fifteen minutes ago, one person dead, the men took money and a hostage, they left on a boat and we been task to catch them"
"Ok, some shore leave"
"that the navy for you, did you have plans today"
"Yes i did, it Jim day off"
"Oh so your plans a ruin"
"Yep"
When Hammersley left port MacGyver called Jim and told him what had happened so he could understand. Hammersley found the boat and chased it then the boarding team managed to get on board where dutchy was hit, so MacGyver shot the person in the shoulder causing her to drop the gun, then Swain grabbed the woman while Two dads and charge grabbed the man. They found the hostage and the money.
Then MacGyver and another crew member took the boat back to port while Hammersley went on ahead. Once docked, the police were there to go over the boat while a police car took MacGyver and the sailor back to Hammersley.
When MacGyver returned home she was carrying dinner that she brought and a bottle of wine inside and up into their bedroom with glasses and forks. Jim was in bed sleeping. So MacGyver did her thing then got into bed and smile at him then lean over
"I know you're awake" then he quickly wrapped his arms around her making her giggle then rolled till he was on top kissing her.
"Your back"
"Yes i am, i hope you got plenty of rest"
"I sure have" they kiss and make passionate love.
Then they enjoyed dinner in bed while watching the news about the robbery. "I'm glad i wasn't on board Hammersley" she said
"Same here, cause your here with me"
"True" she leaned over and kissed him.
June and Jim enjoyed their time together. When Jim was at work MacGyver was on duty watch. She was returning back to the bridge after normal checks when she heard voices coming from Mike cabin. She walks over to see the door open and Mike and Kate on Mike's bed. He got his arm around her shoulder and could see how upset Kate is.
"Everything ok sir" they look up at her.
"Promotion list came out. Kate's name isn't on the list" MacGyver was shocked as she walked in and sat down in the chair.
"What how can that be, she work so hard and you Mike let her be acting captain number of times for her to get the experience so there would be bonus points to help her get that extra stripe"
"I know that June"
"Plus you adding her name on your list to be the new captain"
"That's true, but Maxine didn't accept my list"
"something not right, let me do some checking out"
"MacGyver it ok, i got to learn to accept that the promotion won't happen"
"Think positive X it will happen, I'll find those roadblocks and clear them. For now you two think about what you both what to do together while on shore leave"
"thanks MacGyver" Mike said.
MacGyver stood up and walked over to the cupboard where Mike uniform is and pull something out and close it then walked over and pass it to Kate "so that where you been hiding the chocolate"
"Now you know and we know the crew not aloud in here unless Mike is here"
"thanks MacGyver"
"any time, i'll leave you two alone" she walked out closing the door behind her then returning back to the bridge where she got her phone out and text to Jim.
'Kate didn't make the list' then she sent it so he would know and understand.
When Hammersley left for its next patrol they were going away for a month then stopped off at an island where the crew enjoyed a couple days relaxing at the poolside. Dutchy met a woman who flirted with him. MacGyver watch with charge and bird who was in the lounge chairs enjoying there drinks when RO and two dads came out of the pool and over to them
"don't you dear, both of you" MacGyver said as she was reading her book
"what" two dads said
"shaking you wet hair like a dog that what"
"come on it harmless fun"
"Like cleaning the ovens"
"ok, ok, I see Dutchy didn't waste any time," he said sitting down.
MacGyver put her marker in the book and closed it, then stood up and put it on the lunge chair, then she walked over to where Dutchy is since she was walking past him to get to the bar for drinks.
"Dutchy"
"Hey enjoying yourself" he asked smiling
"Yep sure am and who your new friend
"Laura"
"June" they shook hands. As she looked MacGyver up and down since she was wearing a bikini.
"I wouldn't be caught dead wearing a bikini with those scars" Laura said
"that you opouin Laura" then she walked over to the bar where Laura saw more scars on her back, and her legs.
"What is wrong with scars" Dutchy asked
"they are horrible, do you know how she got them"
"Yeah I do, she risks her own life to save others. She one hell of a women some one who I can trust to watch my back"
"what are you army"
"Navy and that woman you disrespected risked her life a couple months ago form a suside bomber, she manages to stop the guy from blowing up a building full of people, she stays behind with the bomber while everyone runs for their lives. The building she was in blew up with her in it. She was lucky to survive the bombing"
"the one on samaji island three months ago"
"Yes, she is a true hero and not a shame to show her scars"
"I'm sorry i had no idea"
"now you do" he walked away.
Hour later he and MacGyver was running "Race you to the top Dutchy"
"your on"
"Losser buy win dinner tonight"
"ok" then they ran along the track.
MacGyver was a head. When she reached the top she stopped and turned around looking for Dutchy when he didn't show up. She waited for five minutes then started running back down till she saw him with Laura.
"Dutchy"
"Hey, Laura thinks she sprained her ankle"
"Let me take a look" MacGyver took a look
"What are you doing?" Laura said, pulling her foot away.
"Hey she a ship medic, she knows what she is doing"
"Oh" MacGyver looks at her as she slowly moves her foot around. There was no reaction from Laura so she wonders if larura set up a trap to lure Dutchy into it.
"It not sprain or broken" Then she put the shoe back on
"Let's get you up and onto your feet." MacGyver pulled Laura up and she took a step forward pretending she was still hurt.
"Let's get you back to the resort, Dutchy the swing"
"Are you sure"
"Yep"
"what the swing"
"you put your arms around our shoulders and your back side on our arms"
"Oh" Dutchy and MacGyver picked her up and carried her back to the resort
"My boat is closer" she said
"oK" they took her to her boat where they left her
"dutchy care to stay"
"Why not"
"sorry Laura, dutchy on watch in half an hour and he needs a shower first"
"I forgot, sorry"
"How about lunch tomorrow to thank you for bringing me back"
"thanks for the offer, I'll think about it" Then MacGyver and Dutchy walk off the boat and walk along the dock till MacGyver stop behind boxes pulling Dutchy with her
"What are you doing"
"Laura the spider and your the fly" she peaks around the box looking at Laura boat "Look at this" Dutchy walks around MacGyver to see Laura walking off the boat like there is nothing wrong with her ankle.
"What is she doing"
"Don't know what she was up to, Let's head back to Hammersley" she said.
They walk back to Hammersley "Oh you owe me dinner" MacGyver said grinning
"How about tonight when i finish my shift"
"You're on, race ya" then she ran with Dutchy behind her.
That night Dutchy and MacGyver had dinner at an outdoor restaurant. They talk about different things when MacGyver saw Laura "Dutchy" she nudged with her head.
He turned around to see Laura and an older man with her, they just sat down to dinner. Dutchy turn to MacGyver "her father" he said
"No resemblance"
"boyfriend"
"could be"
The next day MacGyver was walking around the resort when she saw the man from the night before at the bar, so she walked over and stood next to him since it was busy.
"Hi" he said
"Hi" she said back then his phone rings so he answer it
"Hello… yes laura, that great, we head back out to the dive spot this afternoon, It will be the last chance for me to film sharks… ok we will leave at two… ok" then he hung up
"you go diving with the sharks"
"Yeah, I film them for documentary, but don't worry i go a shark cage"
"that good to know, what is it like watching the sharks swim around, you aren't you afraid"
"no, have you ever dive in a shark cage before"
"No, but I came close a couple times off sydney when I was diving, they both were great whites over two meters long"
"amazing creatures they are"
"Yes they are and they can be dangest"
"so you dive"
"Yes but havent been for a while, been busy with work"
"So your a qualified diver"
"Yes i am, haven been for ten years, it part of my job description"
"what do you do"
"I'm in the navy" He laugh
"Navy i didn't know, you work on the ship that I saw at the docks"
"Hammersley, yes"
"Would you like to go diving this afternoon"
"love to"
"I think your the right size as my wife"
"Excuse me" MacGyver said in shock
"Wet suit, Laura my wife, she got the wrench fixed on the cage. It was playing up the last time I went diving"
"Ok. well as for wet suite i got my own"
"that great, so two o'clock"
"Why not" they talk for another ten minutes while having their drinks.
When MacGyver got change and grab her bag and wetsuit she saw Dutchy as she walked along the wharf, heading towards her.
"Hey where are you off to"
"diving"
"Not alone i hope" He said smiling
"no, with Laura husband Don"
"don"
"Yes the old guy we saw last night with her, it her husband" she saw the look on dutchy face "dutchy what happen"
"she saw me and asked me to help her with the oxygen tanks and…"
"you sleep with her" she shook her head
"I didn't know she was married"
"We will talk when i return"
"Why are you going diving"
"sharks, don't worry I'll be in a shark cage"
"Ok, have fun"
"thanks" then she walked away.
