CH 99

It was after one in the morning when June woke up. She managed to get up and move the IV bag onto a pole on wheels then she walked to the door and opened it then walked out and down to where the toilets are since she was busting to pee. When she finishes. She started walking back to her room when she heard

"Excuse me" she turn to the nurse and smile

"June my god what happen to you"

"got shot"

"Was it a boarding"

"nope a cold hearted women shot me"

"did you shot back"

"i was unarmed"

"what" she was shocked

"Yeah it's complicated"

"what not, come on let's get you back to bed"

"Ok" they walk down to her room where they stop.

The nurse went to push the door open when MacGyver put her hand on her arm to stop her, then pulled her away from the door. The nurse follow MacGyver three meters away and stop "Get security"

"why"

"when i left to use the head. The door was closed, when you went to open the door it was partly open"

"Perhaps your husband return"

"no, i know Jim and if he did stay there would have been a comfortable chair for him to sit in and a blanket."

"Good point" she walked over to the phone and called security then returned to MacGyver's side.

"You think someone try to kill you"

"Well as you can see with my shoulder"

"True and you and hammersley crew have made a lot of enemies over the years"

"Yeah i know" then a security guard showed up

"You called"

"Yeah This is June roff, she thinks someone in her room" he looked at her

"when i left my room to use the head. My door was closed, when Gail and i where returning it was open"

"i'll go and check it out"

"thanks, it's the door on the right" He walked down to the door and saw it half an inch open. He opened it and walked in. Gail and MacGyver heard a crashing and banging nose

"Call for backup" MacGyver said as she walked closer to the door while Gail went and sent off a security alarm.

Then she turns and watches someone in black running out of the room. MacGyver used her IV pole to trip the person up. The person went down, then they went to get up when MacGyver picked up the pole and slammed it on the back of the person's calf causing the person to scream. MacGyver realized it was a woman.

Then she moved quickly and put her heel in the middle of the woman's back. She rolled to her side towards MacGyver causing MacGyver to lose her balance and fall down since her injured shoulder is in a sling. She went down hard. The women got up and hobble away just as Gail ran over to where Macgyver is just as security showed up

"she went that way, call the doctor" MacGyver screw her face up in pain

"Call Jim" then she passed out just as the on duty ward doctor showed up with nurses.

"What happened?" he asked.

"Someone try to kill June Roff, oh god, Robert" she stood up and ran into Macgyver room and turned the light on. She saw the security guard on the ground and blood pouring out of him she ran over and hit the emergency button then grabbed a couple of gloves and put them on then she went to stop the blood flow while the alarms went off.

Jim woke up when his cell phone was ringing. He turn the light on and pick the phone up "jim Roff hello" when he saw what time it was "what, is June ok, yes i'm on my way" then he hung up and got out of bed and quickly got dress and ran down stairs while on the phone

"this is Captain Jim Roff SAS Contact commander white and commander Flynn at once. My wife's chief petty officer June Roff was attacked by a barry general… Listen to me lieuant My wife works on Hammersley . Someone tried to kill her tonight while she's in hospital and a security guard was killed. Commander Flynn is her captain. I'm on my way in now" he hung up and got into his car and drove to the hospital.

Mike and Kate woke when Mike phone rings "I hope it not crash sail" Kate said

"Mike flynn hello" Mike eyes open wide as he turn on the light

"what, when… ok we on our way" then he hung up "Kate get up it Macgyver, someone try to kill her" Kate sat up just as Mike did

"what what about Jim"

"the hospital called him and he called NAVCOM who called me" they got up and dressed then they were on their way to barry general.

Maxine phone rings. She turned the light on then answered her phone "This better be good" she said half a sleep then she sat up "what, was anyone hurt… ok i'm on my way" then she hung up then she got up and dressed then she headed to the hospital.

When Jim arrived he ran up to the floor and then down to MacGyver room to see the feds there "woo where are you going" one of the feds asked

"I'm captain jim roff, the hospital called me" he show the fed his SAS ID

"Your chief petty officer Roff husband"

"Yes june my wife, where is she"

"i'll take you to her"

"Ok what the hell happen" he spoke to another fed then he turn to jim as they walk down the corridor

"Your wife and nurse returned back from the toilets when she noticed the door ajar, she asked the nurse to call security. A guard showed up and went to check the room when there was a crash and a bang. Nurse called for backup and your wife used the pole to trip the intruder over and slam the pole in the back of the leg, she put her foot in the middle of the back but the person rolled towards your wife causing her to lose balance and fall down since she couldn't use her right arm. The person got up and ran towards the exit. Security went after the person while doctors and nurses showed up to treat your wife. The nurse that was with her went to check on the guard and hit the emergency button. He died five minutes later from slash arm which served an artery, he bleed to death"

"My gosh, and June, is she ok"

"you can ask her yourself" they stop at a closed door. Jim looks through the glass in the door to see a wall light is on but on low. He could see her on her side. He open the door and walk in and over to the bed

"June" she turned to him with tears in her eyes.

He walked around the bed and he got on lying down close to her. She moved so his arm was under the pillow and her head as she snuggled close to him the best she could. "The fed told me what happen"

"Jim i swear it was Madeline cruise" he look at her as he wipe tears away

"Are you sure"

"her height and build, plus she scream when i slam the bottom of the pole in the back oh her leg and i saw her limp away in pain"

"You did try to stop her"

"i know but trying to prove it was her going to be difficult especially if she has to show her bruised left leg she would have some reason why it was bruised"

"I agree," he kissed her.

"You get some sleep, i'm staying right here"

"I don't think i can sleep at the moment" he stroke her hair back

"Ok we can talk if you like"

"you need sleep Jim"

"i'll be ok"

"i do worry about you"

"i worry about you to" he kiss her

"How your shoulder"

"Sore but i'll live"

"You know when you have your next two week shore leave, i'll try to get some time off and we go away somewhere for a whole week"

"sounds good"

"What would you do for that whole week"

"Ordering two or three drinks" she said smiling

"Sounds good to me" she giggled then let out her breath.

"I don't care where we go so long as we are together"

"I agree" they kiss once more.

Then Jim lift his head up when he saw Mike, Kate, Maxine and two feds walk into the room "We not alone" he said to her

"i'm not moving"

"but you can turn your head" she turn her head

"sir, X"

"How are you MacGyver" Mike asked

"Shocked sir that someone came in here and try to kill me when i'm vonarbale and knew what room i was in"

"Mrs Roff do you have any idea who might want to kill you"

"there is a large list but one women beside the X here knew which room i was in and with security doing patrols and the staff doing their rounds. The person would know which room I was in before she showed up. But if I don't need to use the head and the sensitivity that the doctor gave me didn't wear off. We wouldn't be talking right now"

"MacGyver you think it…"

"the cold hearted murdering bitch Madeline cruise, yes i do sir"

"Who Madeline cruise"

"she an IScO agent" Maxine said

"and the same bitch who shot me, that is why i'm in here, she shot an unarmed navy sailor" macgyver said then turned her head to Jim as she lay it down on the pillow and arm.

"Commander is this true" the fed said

"I can't say"

"it true but the dam ICsO is covering it up by sweeping under the hush, hush rug and sir i don't care about keeping it quiet, she shot me and all i did was get between her and a man and she still shot me, no remorse, no nothing. And don't be surprised if she is behind this, they would sweep this under the rug like everything else and one day someone going to lift that rug to see the mess ICsO is in and caused not only to us but others as well" she closed her eyes as she tried to relax to Jim's touch.

"We will talk tomorrow" the feds said

"Jim call us if you need anything" Kate said

"Thanks Kate, Mike" they walked outside, closing the door

"We are going to need to talk and follow me" the fed said. They walk down and into the staff room where they sat down.

"Mrs Roff told us not to trust anything that this MS Madeline Cruise say as she said she was a lying bitch. Is she right"

"Sorry we can't say"

"We did a background check on Mrs Roff and MS cruise and from what we learn about MS cruise tattactics of getting information out of someone is not pleasant"

"How do you know this" Maxine asked

"We got clearance and was ask to investigate Ms Cruise missions, reports every thing"

"Who gave you clearance"

"the prime minister himself after the admiral of the fleet and a general from the SAS spoke to him about Mrs Roff findings which has got the prime minister alarmed. That is why we need your cooperation in this"

"what have you found out so far" Kate asked

"MS cruise is using the ISCO, the SAS and Navy to take out and find a number of people for her atearagion, even killed for money, for favours.

"What have you found out about this mashri guy she after" Mike asked "From what Mrs Roof has passed on, it has to do with four cases in exchange for information. We don't know what that is about"

"We do. Mashri wants the name of the killer who murdered his sixteen year old son. All he knows is the killer name is MacGyver." Mike said

"that chief petty officer Roff navy name" Maxine said

"Yes I know. Marshri second came and saw her, he showed her the bullet that killed the teenager. She compares it with a bullet she got, it's a match. She told him who killed Marchri son and that she is MacGyver and that she wasn't over in afghanistan in two thousand and seven" Mike said

"Who kill the boy" the fed asked

"Madeline cruise, it was her personal gun that was used to kill the boy and shoot MacGyver in the shoulder" Kate said they talked for over an hour before leaving

"Before you go, not a word to any one, especially to your crew commander and the ISCO. Cause of what we found from the investigation so far Ms Cruise isn't the only one with blood on her hands''

"what about Jim" Mike asked

"He knows and we going to post guards outside her room"

"ok if you need anything, you can reach me through NAVCOM" mike said

"I will be commander and I will tell you this. Chief petty officer is one hell of a women"

"that she is" Mike said they shook hands before leaving.
