CH 102
When she walked into the pub she saw Jim with the crew. She walked over and sat down next to him. "Everything ok out there" Jim asked
"yes they talking and no more black eyes"
"what was that about" Two dads asked
"i'm not saying two dads"
An Hour later Jim and June walk out of the pub with their arms around each other. She looked over to see Mike, Kate and Stewart still talking.
The next morning Hammersley left port and headed to crab creek island where Dutchy, bird, RO and two dads were being dropped off. Mike and Kate talk to MacGyver in Mike cabin about the talk they had with Stewart and that he was going to tell Sarah everything if Maxine hasn't.
Before leaving Hammersley Dutchy went through their bags which they weren't happy about then they were shocked when MacGyver showed up wearing shorts, singlet top, shirt with some buttons undone and tied around her waist, shoes, shocks and small backpack
"You coming with us" two dads said
"Yep, why not"
"Let me check your bag MacGyver" she passed her bag to him and he opened it to see what she got in there. He pulls out a hunting knife, twine and a canteen of water.
"Twine"
"What is wrong with it, you can fine twin and of fishing nets on the beach"
He put them back in the bag and pass it to her "now let see what in your bag" he pass it to her and she look to see what in side then pass it back
"Shall we?" she said.
They all put their life vest on, then got into the HRIB. when they where drop off on the island "Have fun" swain swain
"Enjoy your night in comfortable bed swain" MacGyver said
"I will see you all tomorrow" then the HRIB return back to Hammersley.
Dutchy pass fishing like to RO "You and two dads try to catch some fish, while we go and set up camp"
Then the three of them walk about thirty meters into the jungle where they found a great spot to camp. They went and set a couple of traps then returned carrying arm full of wood. Dutchy pass bird an old pot they found on the way to the camp and pass it to her
"See if you can find some water"
"ok" then she turn and walk away while MacGyver and Dutchy started getting the fire sorted out when they heard two snaps
"Let's go and see what's for dinner," dutchy said. They went and saw they caught two rabbits. They return with them
"do you know how to kill a rabbit"
"Yes, race ya"
"ok and skin and gutted"
"Ok" they go there knifes out
"One, two, three," dutchy said.
Then they kill the rabbits, skin them and gut them Dutchy was halfway removing the skin "Finish" he turned to see she did do it
"You're too fast for me," she laughs.
She got the fire started while Dutchy finished skinning his rabbit. After cleaning up and burying the remains they sat down next to the fire since it was starting to get dark when MacGyver stood up and looked around. Dutchy noticed the look and he stood up and looked around then stopped when two armed men appeared.
"Well, well who do we have here?" one of them said.
"What do you want" dutchy said
"That rabbit you going to cook and you two, now come on"
"dutchy, where are you"
"Tell him or she dies" one with the crossbow said
"Over here" they turn to see two dads and RO show up
"We caught…" then they saw two arm men pointing weapons at Dutchy and MacGyver
"come on look like we are going to have feast tonight" one with the gun said then he pull out two pairs of handcuffs
"You, you put this on and cuff yourself with the blonde guy" he said chucking the cuffs at Dutchy.
"You do the same with the other guy" he threw them to MacGyver. They did as they were told. MacGyver saw Bird, who was watching from behind a tree. She pointed to where her bag was and gave her a wink, Bird gave a nod.
The two men walk the four to their campsite where they were uncuff and slowly cuff to the tree. Two dads went and attack the guy with the crossbow, when the guy drop it it went off and got MacGyver in the leg she went down in pain
"MacGyver" RO and Dutchy said yelling.
Two dads hit the guy but his brother fired a shot in the air "You stupid fool look what you done, Henry tie the kid up."
The guy went and tied two dads up then he dragged MacGyver to a tree so they could see how much pain she was in but tried not to show it. Once she was tied up he moved till he was looking at her up and down with a hungry look in his eyes.
He pulled her shirt towards him so he could look down her front when she spat in his face. So he slapped her then he grab her face and kissed her then he screamed and he pulled back. She spat at him once more. So he then pushed the arrow further into her leg.
She just look at him "Leave her alone" Dutchy yell out
"Shut up, you, trevor you can have you fun later"
"she bit my tongue the bitch" he stood up and picked his crossbow up and walked back over to his brother. MacGyver breath in and out
"Are you ok" RO asked
"In time" then she spit on the ground again then she tried to relax.
Then they all notice a guy hanging by his arms from two trees. Trevor fired an arrow into the guy's heart, they could see two bullet wounds, one there was dry blood from around then entered and down his arm and body.
"Is he" Two dads asked
"Yes from the dried up blood at least twelve hours, he bleed out from the wound from his arm, the bullet would hit the artery and he bled to death"
three hours later the two men enjoyed eating the cooked fish and rabbit while the four of them watched them. MacGyver was starting to get tired, she noticed she lost blood from the leg wound. They heard an engine trying to start up. The brothers grin then pick their weapons up and take off.
"MacGyver you don't look good" Dutchy said
"I'll be ok" she said
"bird" RO said when she appeared.
"Oh my god MacGyver, your leg" she ran over to her.
"Bird listen to me, go and see if you can find a bit of wire"
"ok, what for"
"Pick a lock on this cuffs" she went over and found a piece of wire then return
"Is this small enough"
"Yes now try to bend one end about two, three milmiters" Bird return to the table she manage to bend the wire then return when they heard the shot
"Was there someone else on the island" Two dads said
"Yes a women, she told me the men hunted her and her boy friend in turkey hunt"
"bird we don't have much time, let me see it" bird show her the wire
"Great put it in my hand then go and hide" she did what MacGyver asked her to
"I got your bag and radio"
"Great Hammersley will be here just after ten, go to the rondevu point and wait for them, let them know what happened here"
"what about you four"
"your our only hope bird, they don't know your here, go they would be here soon" MacGyver said
"Ok" then she looked at the others with tears in her eyes then ran back behind a tree and waited for the brothers to return.
When they did she move away quietly and head to the beach. But then she remembers the boat so she went looking for it. When she found it, it was tied up. She looked into the boat when she saw the young woman's body there. She didn't know what to do then she remembers what MacGyver said to her when they were looking for a campsite.
"In any survival environment there are things around you you can use to send signal, to build a shelter, make traps all you need to do is look around to see what you got and work with it"
Bird looked around her and in the boat. She got into the boat and looked around the best she could. She found an emergency beacon and noticed it was broken then she remembered MacGyver showing her a rough drawing one day when she asked what it was. MacGyver said it was Thor Hammer. Bird looked around for a marker of any sort then she looked at the woman's body.
She saw the pool of blood so she dipped her finger into the blood and painted on the inside as well outside of the boat 'S.O.S.' and drew a Thor Hammer with the word 'THOR' on the hammer and she put the number eight and two on the side of the hammer. When done she got an item from MacGyver bag, it was a Dutchy hunting knife and put it next to what she wrote on the boat.
Then she got out and washed her hands in the sea. Then she got the anchor and put it onto the boat and put it back where it goes, then she got back onto the island and pushed the boat out and into the sea since the tide was changing. She went and hid close by while watching the boat drift out to sea. Then she returns back to the campsite and keeps an eye on her crew mates.
Early the next morning a boatie who was out fishing over night saw a boat close by drifting. He picked up his bionicles when he saw writing on the side of the boat then he saw a hand dangling over the side and it got blood on it.
"What the hell." He pulled up his anchor and started the motor then slowly drovered closer. He stopped when he saw women's bodies and more writing. So he called May day.
"May Day, May Day, May Day this is green eyes" there was no reply
"May Day, May Day, May Day this is green eyes any one copy over" One of the crew on Hammersley who was on duty watch heard the may day
"Green eyes this is the australian warship Hammersley what is your may Day"
"I'm ten miles south of crab creek island, i came across a boat and women body, she been shot, she must have written a message before she died"
"what was the message and the name of the boat sir"
"Name of the boat called turkey hunt and the message is S.O.S there a thing looks like a hammer of some sort with the word Thor in the middle and number eight and two" the sailor sat up
"Oh my god no" then he said
"sir stay where you are, we will get to you soon as we don't touch anything"
"You know what it means"
"Yes i do Hammersley out" then he picked up the phone and called NAVCOM
"sir it leader Harper on Hammersley we got an emergency at crab creek island can you contact commander flynn… a boatie call a may day he came across a boat with female body on board and message written in blood ...SOS with Thor hammer and word thor and number eight, two written in blood… ten miles south of crab creek island, we got five crew members on that island doing a survival training… two of them are females… yes sir"
Then he hung up just as he stood up and walked over and used the PA system to wake everyone up. When the other crew member who was on duty walk up the steps with brew in hand "Why are you waking up every one half an hour early"
"The crew in trouble"
"Who"
"dutchy and the others, guy called in a may day" he show his mate what he wrote down
"Oh my god it could be bird or MacGyver, but shot, but they haven't got any guns"
"then someone on the island has"
Twenty minutes later after everyone received the crash sail message Hammersley left port worried about what happened to their crew mates.
On the island Bird watched what was happening so she got a stick and used a MacGyver knife and string, she tied the knife to the piece of branch. Then she moved to another spot where she waited when one of the brothers let Two dads go and told him to run so he did then one of the brothers with his crossbow trying to get two dads till he trip over and knocked his head on stump and was daise.
The guy stop and laugh "Was an easy hunt" he raises his crossbow when he head
"Lower your weapon" he lower it and turn to the voice
"Well hello there" he went to raise it towards her when she used the long stick hitting him in different areas which caused him to drop the crossbow. He grabbed the stick with both hands and pulled her towards him
"You going to be fun to hunt"
"I don't think so" then she manages to fall backwards while holding onto the pole taking him with her and using her legs to flip them both over and she moves the pole to one end where the knife is and having it against his throat.
"Bird are you ok"
"I'm fine, you"
"Yeah" he sat up and moved to where they were and got the keys out of the guy's pocket and uncuffed himself.
"Here let me take over while you cuff him" Bird let go of the pole then she got up
"roll over and put your hands behind your back" bird said
"if I don't" She raised her foot and put the heel part on his crotch
"your choice"
"Henry" he yelled out. She got down and over his mouth with her hand.
"Two dads in my backpack there duck tape" Two dads manage to get it out with one hand and pass it to her.
She uses one hand and manages to tear a strip off and put it over his mouth. Then she and two dads manage to roll him over and sit him up against a tree where Bird cuff him to it. Then they check the crossbow to see it broken.
"Now what"
"Lets' head back to the camp site. I got an idea"
"what that"
"I'll be the decoy while you help others escape"
"no i'll do it"
"Look MacGyver is going to need help. Between you, RO and Dutchy you three can help carry her out"
"Ok, be careful" she pass him the bag
"the radio in there, hopefully help would be here soon"
"We still got three hours"
"Might be sooner, I'll explain later, let go" they headed back to the campsite where they noticed MacGyver is free of her hand cuffs.
Two dads gave Bird the nod then she started running. Henry saw her and tried to shoot her but missed so he chased after her. MacGyver managed to undo the rope when two dads appeared undoing the other cuffs and ropes around their necks.
"What was bird thinking" Dutchy said as he ran over to where MacGyver is
"she our decoy, the other guy tied up"
they watch as MacGyver broke the arrow off then took her shirt off and wrap it around the wound then she took her bra off and wrap it around the wound tight as possible and hook the bra strap together
"Come on, let's get out of her before he returns" Dutchy said he and two dads help MacGyver up to her feet
"Now what" Dutchy said
"RO you to my left, two dads to my right i'm going to use you two as a swing, Dutchy my legs"
They did what MacGyver said and managed to walk quickly as they could towards the beach. When they got there they put MacGyver onto the beach where two dads got the radio out and turn it on
"May Day, May Day, May Day can anyone hear me"
