Two hours later a doctor walk in "Family of Chief petty officer Roff" Mike stood up and step ford
"i'm commander Flynn captain of Hammersley, How is she doctor"
"she is going to make a full recovery. We had to remove fragments from her legs and arms she was lucky to be wearing double plated under her vest, from where the fragments ended up, she wouldn't have made it"
"Of course she will she has been through a lot worse" two dads said
"not this time, one of the fragments would have ended in her heart and four ended in her liver as well at least fifteen fragments would damage her kidneys, spleen and both lungs. She would bleed to death" the crew was shocked.
"When can we see her doctor?" Dutchy asked.
"Tomorrow, she would be sleeping till there, why don't you all go home"
"We waiting to hear about captain Jim Roff, MacGyver husband"
"Of course, if you will excuse me"
"thank you doctor" Mike returned to his seat putting his arm around Kate's shoulder as she snuggled up to his side.
"Sir what about captain family" Bird asked
"Maxine would have sorted that out." Mike said.
Dutchy stood up and walked out of the waiting room and went to use the head. When he was returning he could hear the TV going. He stopped when he heard breaking news about a boat exploding off Cairns. He walked over to the nurses station and watched it. It shows someone filming the two HRIBS chasing the boat, boarding it, then two HRIBS leaving the boat MacGyver up top, turning the boat around and heading out to sea, then going down below deck. Then it shows MacGyver tossing both cases overboard.
Returning back below deck then seconds later them running and jumping into the sea as the boat exposed. Then it show the two HRIB's return and pulling Jim and MacGyver into the HRIB's returning back to Hammersley. Then it shows the helicopter showing up and air lifting both of them into the helicopter and headed back to Cairns, then showing up of another two patrol boats. Then it was back to the newsroom where the reporter said
"We just learned of the two wounded from the boat explosion, they are captain Jim Roff of the army and Chief petty officer June Roff VC from HMAS Hammersley. We don't know how serious their condition is" then she puts her hand up to her ear piece and it shows a shocked look on her face.
"We just learned that the bomb that was on the boat was a dirty bomb. It was a cerium rod which is used in nuclear power plants and semtex. My gosh it would've been the worst disaster since the attack on Darwin during World War two. These two brave people are heroes."
"Excuse me you can't be back here" he turn to the nurse
"Sorry just saw the breaking news"
"Ah" she walks around Dutchy as it was repeated about what happen
"My gosh, i saw them both come in here, i had no idea"
"you and everyone else" she turns to him

"Yeah, in the waiting room is the Hammersley crew and her comes Captain Roff team, excuse me" then he walked over to them
"Dylan, we came soon as we heard, any news" they shook hands
"MacGyver is going to make a full recovery, they remove fragments from her legs and arms. As for Jim, no word yet"
"thanks you don't mind if we wait for news"
"sure" they walk over to the waiting room.
"Dylan just told is about June"

"sir it on the news about what happen"
"It on the radio also, a terrorist attack folded by hammersley crew and captain Roff, any idea who was behind it," one of them asked
"Madeline Cruise" two dads said
"Two dads" Kate gave him not happy look
"they got a right to know x after all she rope them as well even though it was not there and our fault"

"Talk about it later, it is not a place for it" mike said the SAS men sat down and waited, they talk to the crew to help pass the time till a doctor walk in two hours after the SAS walk in

"I'm commander Flynn, how is Jim"
"We have done all we could for him. We removed over thirty fragments from his body, he was very lucky none of the fragments any of his vital organs and arteries. But my main concern is his head wound"
"Head wound"
"Yes a piece of the boat hit him in the back of the head. He got a skull fracture and in a coma and we don't know if he will ever come out of it. You need to contact his family"

"Oh, I understand, how is she"
"She will make a full recovery as for her mental state after hearing about her husband. That is what i'm worried about."

"Yes when he was in a coma, she went into depression till he came out of the coma few days later"
"I had no idea. But a brain injury is a tricky thing"
"I know doctor, Jim has had a number of them but came out fine until…"

"That young, who knows captain Roff my surprise his wife once again"
"We sure hope so, thank you doctor" he turned and walked out of the room.
Mike turn to everyone "there is nothing we can do for now, You all got shore leave for the next two weeks and don't say a word about there conditions to the media, under stand"
"yes sir" they all said
"Good" Kate stood up and stepped forward and hugged Mike as he did in return. Then the others stood up as well as they all walked out of the waiting room and hospital to be greeted by reporters. They all got into cars not saying a word and left the hospital.
That night it was on the news about what happened and that one of the boaties recorded everything that had happened and posted it on his Facebook page and shared it with the TV news station facebook page.
The next morning when MacGyver woke up she blinked a few times since she was still groggy. She looked around the room and realized she was in the hospital. She closes her eyes and remembers chasing the boat, boarding it, helping Jim cutting the white wires, throwing both cases overboard telling each other 'I love you' run jumping and the explosion.
She opened her eyes as she took a deep breath "Jim" she started breathing heavy then she struggled to sit up pulling the cords off her causing the heart monitor alarm to go off as she struggled to get out of the bed pulling her IV line out just as the doctors and nurses running into the room
"Mrs Roff get back into bed"
"Jim where is he, where my husband" she fighting them as she went to stand up
"Mrs Roff you just had surgery you need time to rest and recover"
"Jim I want to see my husband" she pushed them away as she walked out the door. They try to stop her but she was able to knock them down
"Jim where is he" she look from room to room trying to find him when Dutchy showed up and was shocked when he saw MacGyver fighting off the nurses, doctors and orderly
"Hold her while I give her a sensitive" Dutchy quickly step ford
"MacGyver" she turns to him
"dutchy where Jim is he ok they won't tell me" Dutchy hug her
"Please don't say it doesn't say it" she started to cry then she felt a prick in her arm.
She pulled back "Please tell me"
"He is alive"
"where is he"
"Two floors down, he in a coma"
"NOOO" she scream so he hug her when the doctor gave her another shot
"I… I want to see him, please Dutchy" then she went limp in his arms.
"Quickly get a stretcher, damn it she rips some of her stitches" the doctor said.
They carefully put her on the stretcher and rolled her away. Dutchy saw the state some of the staff was in. "I have never seen anyone like her act the way she acted, I will not put up with this from her" the doctor said while holding his nose.
"You have no idea who she is or what she is going through right now doctor"
"I don't care if you seam to know her"
"That patient you just disrespected is chief petty officer June Roff, she and her husband captain Jim roff risked their lives yesterday in disabling a dirty bomb and you here complaining because of the way she acted. All she wanted to know is where her husband is. She just woke up after having major surgery yesterday."
"Well i don't care who she or her husband is" he walk away
"Doctor" he stops and turns to dutchy "You just disrespect a hero, a war hero, they both heroes and you don't care who they are or the hell they have been though" then he turns around and walks away getting his phone out of his pocket. The doctor looked around to see patients and staff looking at him
"Doctor, you shouldn't have said those things to that petty officer. He works with June Roff and she is a VC hero. She and her husband put their lives on the line to save all of us, you should be thanking her for not disrespecting her, not at this time" one of the nurses said then walk away. Then everyone else did.
Few hours later MacGyver woke up she remembered what had happened, then she started to cry when the door open and two people walk in "OH June, we came soon as we heard"
"Mum dad" Jamie sat on the bed as June sat up and hugged her as she cried harder.
"I want to see him"
"I know you do," she rubbed June back.
"We been to see him June and the doctors told us what happen to him" Tom said
"dutchy told me he in a coma" June pulled away and leaned back against the pillows
"It true he fractured skull caused by large boat fragment hit him in the head"
"what are his other injuries"
"We talk about it later June, you shocked and need your rest" June shook her head
"Tell me please, I want to know, all of it" Tom sat down. He and Jamie told June about Jim's other injuries. She cried.
"I can't believe this is happening to us again"
"We were told by commander flynn that the feds arrested the women who behind it" then the door open and a man walk in
"Agent murphy"
"MacGyver can we talk it about the bombing"
"Agent Gregg Murphy, this is Tom and Jamie Roff, my in laws"
"hi, nice to meet you both you son and daughter in law are country heros"
"We know agent murphy. Look June we will come by later once we settle in at the hotel"

"We will talk about that later" they both hugged her before walking out the door when they heard
"Tell me that bitch has been charge murphy" She said in an angry tone just as the door closed
"I never heard June talk like that before" Jamie said

"she has been charged and she out on bail"
"you what, how can you let the lying screaming murdering bitch out on bail, she could be planning another attack or escaping the country. How could you" she said yelling at him
"the ISCO paid for her bail"
"they bloody did what, are they nuts after what she did they helped her out. I want everyone in that agency investigated. I want to know why the hell they are helping a teastest get out on bail."

You go and get that bitch and put her back behind bars and not let her out, now get out and do your bloody job and find out who approves for her bail and Murphy dig deep. Plus she would know what that Jim and I know what she has been up to the evidence, she could be planning on having us killed like what happened to agent smith. We are both vulnerable right now and she might attack us or any one from the SAS or hammersley and its crew since we stopped her. This is revenge Murphy pure and simple revenge" then she turned her head and looked out the window.
He looked at her then turned around and walked out the room getting his phone out of his pocket and making a call.
