CH 112
When June came, she looked around and realized she was in the hospital. She went to sit up when she became dizzy. "Easy there" she turned to the doctor.
"Let me go"
"sorry not this time, your a mess and we need to talk"
"no i got to go" she went to sit up when he stopped her.
"June i ran some tests and I'm worried about you and…"
"i don't care. Let me get dressed and get out of here" she went to sit up when he stop her
"June listen to me"
"no now let me go"
"June listen to me, you got to look after yourself"
"I can take care of myself"
"I can see that you're dehydrated and underweight. But that's not what I'm worried about"
"then what"
"your baby" June look at him
"My what"
"Baby, your pregnant, about twelve weeks pregant" she put her hand on her adermon then started to cry
"a baby, i'm having a baby"
"Yes you are"
"My god i almost killed my baby"
"You weren't to know June with everything that has happened to you in the past few weeks, it has taken it toll on you. You gotta start looking after yourself if you want your baby to live"
"I had no idea. Jim and I have been trying since we were married but times were bad and now I'm pregnant and Jim in a coma. I don't think I could go through this without him"
"you got family and friends who can help you through this"
"i know"
"Look we going to keep you here over the next few days to keep an eye on you and your baby, ok"
"I'm supposed to be in court today"
"Leave it to me and we get you sorted and get you some thing to eat, ok"
"ok" she said, closing her eyes. The doctor went to talk to Greg when he saw Kate and Mike there.
"How is she" mike asked
"She is awake. I just spoke to her. I'm going to keep her in for a few days but when she leaves some one should be with her at all times"
"she supposed to be at court today" Greg said
"Sorry, if the judge wants to, he can call me. But for medical reasons I'm keeping June in. that all i'm saying"
"Ok"
"Can i see her" Kate said
"not now"
"I want to see what she needs from home"
"Oh, ok, but just a minute, she needs her rest"
"sure" the doctor showed Kate into where June is.

"doctor told us that you are going to be here for a few days, what would you like from home and i'll get them for you"
"thanks X"
At the courthouse the judge was reading the morning paper when there was a knock on the door "come in" he put his paper down just as the door opened.
"Mr Adams, you know the rules"
"I so you honor. I just received a call from agent Murphy from the feds. Chief petty officer June roff was found collapsed at home this morning, she been rush to Barry general hospital"
"Thank you for telling me this. Let me know if she can attend court of not"
"Yes your honor" then his phone rings, he gets it out of his pocket
"Excuse me your honor" then he walked out the door answering it when he stopped in the doorway while talking on the phone, then he hung up
"Your honor, that was agent murphy. The doctor keeping Mrs Roff in hospital for medical reasons and doesn't know how long she is going to be in there for"
"Ok we will continue with the trial, I'll inform Mr smith about this, have your next witness ready"
"Yes your honor" then he walked out closing the door behind him.
The staff move June to a private room next door to Jim so she would have to walk far to see him. Once she was settled in, a nurse brought her a tray of food for her breakfast since it was after eight thirty in the morning. June looked at it and didn't want to eat it but now she has to think about her baby and what the doctor told her.
She started eating it slowly and screwed her face up with every bite till she ate half of it and pushed the tray away. She leaned back against the pillows looking out the window doing a lot of thinking.
Later that afternoon Mike and Kate walk into her room carrying the items June asked for. "Thanks for getting them for me"
"We know you do the same for anyone else. How are you"
"a mess, with everything that has happened in the past few months has come crashing down on top of me, I've been so busy concentrating on finding the bomb and getting evidence I never thought about myself once. The doctor told me i got to think about myself for once, because of what happened I wasn't looking after myself"
"Now you can, we got Madeline Cruise and she is going away for a very long time. You need to get better so you can look after Jim, what would he think if he see you now" Kate said
"He would be very concerned about me and my well being"
"That's right," Mike said. "If you need anything, don't hesitate to call"
"I will, thank you"
"We will let you get some rest"
"ok, thank you for getting my things"
"Your welcome" they walk out leaving her to get some rest.
Next three days June slept a lot when she wasn't next to Jim bed and eating meals. She only ate half of it and told the staff who picked up the tray about what she thought of the meals. So one day she ordered a take away meal on line and had it delivered to the hospital. She let the security know so they know.
When it was delivered. The two security guards check the boxes and they deliver it to June themselves just in case it is a reporter. She enjoyed the meal, knowing it was better than the hospital food.
One day she was next to Jim bed when she noticed the change in her heart beat. She looked over to the monitor when she noticed it was starting to drop, so she stood up and pushed the emergency button
"jim don't die, please don't die, I need you" then the staff ran into the room when they saw his heart monitor
"Get her out," the doctor said. One of the nurses went to MacGyver side
"please Jim" she stood back in the corner while she started to cry when Jim went flat line
"no, Jim please, no" she watches as the staff went to resuscitate Jim, he was still flat line. She watches them trying to shock Jim's heart back.
Jim he open his eyes and look around, he saw a light so he started walking towards it "no jim don't go there" he stop and look around
"who there" then he saw two figures from the light walking towards him,
"Who are you why don't you want me to go towards the light" they stop in front of him
"It not you time"
"what do you mean who are you"
"what the last thing you remembered" the women said He thought about it then look at the two people in shocked
"the bomb, i told June that I love her, she told me i love you and she said run and jump and I did, we jumped at the same time into the sea when there was an explosion behind us and then I opened my eyes and I'm here. Am i dead" he said in shocked
"that your choice, or you can return to June" the guy said
"I love her. But is it…"
"no it not your time Jim if you don't want it to be"
"how do i get back, how do i wake up"
"Listen to your heart, listen for her voice, go towards it, she will bring you back"
"jim no don't die, please don't die" Jim turn around to June voice
"June, I can hear you" he looked around and saw the couple turning and walking back to the light.
"Wait who are you" they stop and look at each other then turn to Jim and smile. Jim recognised June smile on the man's face then he step ford and look into the womens eyes, then he look at them both
"you June parents"
"Gina parents, yes, we have been watching her grow up and become a hero and fall in love with you." the woman said.
"Jim we are happy that Gina is happy and we know you two been thought a lot, being there for each other since you both met. To us that is love, a bond which can not be broken. You two got the same strong love as we have and we are proud to call you son"
"jim please" he heard behind him
"go to her, she waiting for you and give her our love"
"I will, but what do i do"
"follow your heart, it will lead you back to her, call out for her, she will hear you"
"jim no" he heard behind him he turn and walk towards June voice then stop and turn to them
"thank you, you got a wonderful amazing daughter who misses you both"
"We know" they turn around and wrap their arms around each other and walk towards the light
"Jim" he heard, he turn around
"June, June," he said as he walked towards the voice.
In the room they try to revive Jim when the doctor stop "I'm calling it, i'm sorry," the doctor said
"no you are not going to give up, I won't give up" she quickly step ford and got onto the bed and started chest compressions
"Come On Jim don't you die on me"
"Mrs Roff" he put his hands on her arm.
She quickly turned and punched him in the nose which cause him to fall on the ground then she return back to what she is doing "come on jim come back to me, you hear me, come back to me, come on Jim don't give up on me" she said yelling at him
"it no good, he gone"
"shut the fuck up doctor."she said looking at him then turn to Jim "come on jim, come back to Me, Jim, Jim, don't give up, don't list that bitch win, come on Jim, i want to hear your heart beating come on" they try to pull her off when she hit them then landed on his chest crying for a few second then stop when she move her head over his heart then sat up
"that it Jim came back to me, i heard it, he was alive" the doctor tried to get her off
"He gone"
"No i heard his heartbeat, he live, check for yourself, look his chests is rising, quickly get me one hundred percent oxygen"
"your crazy" the doctor said she turn to a nurse
"check his pulse" the nurse check Jim pulse
"my god she right, he alive" then she got what MacGyver wanted then they got the heart monitor going
"He is alive.
"Come on Jim i can hear your heartbeat, you need to wake up come on jim, wake up please" she grabbed his hand and held onto it with both hands "come on Jim wake up please" she felt his hand squeeze hers
"that it Jim squeeze my hand again you can do it, I know you can" they all watch him squeeze her hand again "that it Jim, come on you got to wake up, please, open they sexy eyes of yours, you can do it i know you can" they all waited and notice his heart rate getting stronger which shocked them all
"come on Jim i know you can hear my voice, open your eyes for me, come back to me i love you"
"june" they heard a weak voice
"what was that" the doctor said
"Jim come on, i love you" she leaned over him with both hands on his face
"come on Jim i want to hear your voice"
"June" she cries as she smiles.
"I'm here Jim, i hear for you, I love you so much"
"june"
"Yes Jim i'm here, i'm here"
"June, i love you"
"I love you, please open your eyes for me, please" they all waited they saw eye movement under his eye lids
"come on Jim i know you can do it, please let me see you eyes"
"June"
"I'm here, I'm here Jim" then he open his eyes to see June looking down on him
"Oh Jim you back, i love you so much"
"I love you too," he said. He pulled his oxygen mask off so she leaned over and kissed him.
"I love you" she said then kissed him once more.
"I came back to you, heard you"
"I'm pleased you did"
"june, we need to run some tests" the doctor said
"I know" she said while still looking at Jim then lean ford.
"End of the rainbow there is not a pot of gold but a reward waiting for us" she kisses him once more then puts the mask back in place. Then the staff her off the bed and out of the room
"wait" Jim said as he remove the mask while looking at June she stop and turn to him
"No pot of gold"
"gold change into a reward"
"you mean"
"Twelve weeks remember the night we talk about the pot of gold" she said as she step ford
"Yes"
"It happened that night"
"you mean"
"Yes we are going to have a baby," she said as she held on to his hand, he started to cry.
"What, how" she laughs
"Jim, you've been in a coma for the past two months. We will talk more later, i love you"
"I love you too" she walks towards the door then stops and turns to him and watches what the staff was doing then she got her phone out and made a call.
"Hello dad, it's June… Jim awake… yes let the family know… the doctors are with him now… yes i was with him when it happens… they are going to run some tests… ok see you when you get up here… ok see you soon" then she hung up.
She smiles at Jim then returns back to her room where she multi text to some of Jim team and Hammersley crew 'Great news, Jim woke up' then she sent the text message knowing that they are all infor a shock.
At the courthouse Kate's phone vibrated so she got it out of her pocket and saw it was a text from June, she opened it and was shocked when she saw the text message then she smiles. She leaned forward and tapped on to one of the agent shoulders, he turned to her with a fond look then he saw her phone and the message.
He smiled and nodded, then he turned around and leaned forward and tapped on the lawyer shoulder, he turned and leaned back as the agent whispered the news in his ear. The lawyer nodded the he sat ford and wrote down to the lawyer who in the second chair 'Captain Jim roff woke up' his second nodded
"Mr Adams, is everything alright" the judge asked. He stood up
"Yes sir, i just heard Captain Jim Roff has regained consciousness your honor"
"Very well, carry on" he then sat down.
June waited for over two hours when a nurse walked into her room "june He back in his room and asking for you" june got up from the bed and put her slippers then walk to the door
"thank you" she walked down and into his room.
He was sitting up in bed smiling at her. She walked over and got onto the bed putting her hands onto his face and kissing him. "Are you ok June"
"I am now" she snuggled up to his side.
"The doctors told me what had happened to me, I still can't believe it has been weeks, it seems like a few hours ago"
"I know" she look at him and got his hand and put it on her stomach while looking at him
"We having a baby" he said
"Yes we are" they both kiss.
"You know it takes two to make a baby" she giggled
"Yes i know, i love you"
"I love you too. But June why are you here"
"with everything that has been happening, I wasn't looking after myself. The feds found me collapsed on the bedroom floor two weeks ago and I was rushed into here. I lost weight and was dehydrated. That when I found out that I was pregnant. It shocked me that I almost lost our baby. I knew I had to change, I had to think about myself for once and not about Ms Cruice, the navy, the court case, you I had to think about me because of our baby. So in the past two weeks i've been thinking about me, and our baby. I spend much time as i can with you hoping and praying that you will wake up"
"I'm here now, we got a lot to talk about and you do need to think about yourself once in a while, now you have to more often since you carrying our child" he said looking at her
"i know i have to"
Couple hours later Jamie and Tom walked down to Jim's room where the security guard was. Lucky the guard recognised Jim parents. They smile at the guards when they stop at the door and look through the glass in the door and smile to see June snuggling up to Jim's side and both of them sleeping.
"We will come by tomorrow" Jamie said
"Good idea" then they walk back the way they came while holding hands.
The next morning Jim enjoyed his first meal in three months as well as a hot shower. After breakfast, Jim was in a wheelchair and June was next to him when they headed down to where June was having her first ultrasound done. June was on the bed with Jim next to her as the gynecologist was checking to make sure everything is ok with the baby. They both look at the screen seeing there baby for the first time
"Is the baby ok" June asked
"from what i can see yes for a twelve week old, but as you know you were lucky you haven't lost it after what you and your body has been through in the past few months"
"we know, we were worried that something might be wrong after what I was doing to myself and not seeing the signs"
"Everyone is different when they are pregnant"
"that is true"
"You got a little fighter here just like it parents" June and Jim look at each other and smile then look at the monitor.
Twenty minutes later they were back in Jim's room talking about their baby, the baby names everything when Jim parents walk in and gives them both a hug before sitting down to talk about what has been happening with the family.
"mum, dad, we got something to tell you" jim said
"What is it?" June moves and passes them a photo then moves back to Jim's side as they look at the photo.
"Oh my, no way is this" Jamie said in shocked
"Twelve weeks"
"OH my it a miracle"
"Congratulations to you both dose your teammates knows"
"no, I wanted to tell Jim first before I started showing. So now you know"
"When she told me i was shocked at first and now happy we been trying for two years and now"
"This is wonderful news"
"Yes it is mum" Jim said. They talk till lunch time then Jamie and Tom leave them with their lunch while they call their families and give them the good news.
