In the hidden island base of Dr. Robotnik, the evil doctor was cycling through his vast catalogue of robots to choose for his latest scheme. Finally, he stopped on a green aerial robot with a bird's head.

"Perfect!" Robotnik declared. "Time for my Super Sweeper to have a little fun!"

After it's construction, the Super Sweeper took off from the lair towards the skies. An act that didn't go unnoticed by those working at Area 51. Everyone present was scrambling to figure out what was happening.

"Someone talk to me!" the head of the Area demanded. "What's going on?!"

"An unknown object was reported launching from Dr. Robotnik's base less than an hour ago," one of the scientists reported. "Satellites show it's heading for the stratosphere."

"What's that madman up to this time?"

"Unsure. We're working on getting a visual now."

The leader clenched his fists, gritting his teeth in anger. Finally, a picture started appearing on the screen, showing Super Sweeper moving through the stratosphere. Before any other action could be taken, the robot opened up it's beak, revealing a massive vacuum hose. The hose then began producing a powerful electromagnetic surge, which began pulling in nearby satellites towards it. The satellites were then sucked into the interior of the robot, including the one monitoring the situation, causing the screen to cut out.

"What just happened?!" the leader let out.

"It seems the robot… swallowed up the satellite," a tech answered.

"Not just that one, sir," another tech piped up. "Robotnik's stealing ALL the satellites!"

On Robotnik Island, the evil scientist watched as his latest creation sucked in every satellite that came into range. He laughed maniacally, happy with the results.

"Look at all my wonderful new toys. Soon, all these hunks of space junk will be the building blocks for my new robot army. Who knew recycling would be so fun? And cost effective."

...

Meanwhile at the Kent House, Keith, Tails, and Sonic were playing a card game around the coffee table. Kat and Knuckles were sitting on the couch playing rock paper scissors. Amy was in the kitchen with Ella, making some snacks for everyone. Finally, Cream, Cheese, and Helen were watching TV. Dr. Birnbaum had asked the group to watch the two while she was at work and they had been more than willing to comply. The trio were currently watching their favorite program: Blumpy the Dancing Monster.

"Alright boys and girls," Blumpy addressed. "It's time for my favorite part of the show. It's time to get up and dance!"

Cream and Cheese were both happily dancing, Helen doing the hand movements with them. At the coffee table, Sonic had just beaten Keith and Tails at yet another round, much to their chagrin.

"Come on," Keith griped. "That's your sixth game in a row."

"Hey, I can't help being so fast," Sonic replied, shuffling the cards at super speed. "You shouldn't have chosen a speed-based game to play with me."

"Maybe this time, we should just play go fish," Tails suggested.

"Oh come on!" Knuckles let out. "This game is impossible!"

Everyone glanced over at Knuckles, who was crossing his arms in annoyance. Kat was smirking.

"No, it's not. All you have to do is form either rock, paper, or scissors with your hand. It's not my fault you keep choosing paper or rock."

"Look at my hands!" Knuckles snapped, holding up his spiked-glove covered hands. "Does it look like I can form scissors with these!?"

Before Kat could respond, Amy and Ella came into the room with pies in hand.

"Snack time, everybody," Ella announced, getting everyone's attention.

"... this isn't over," Knuckles insisted.

"Fine by me," Kat replied as Sonic and the others came over.

"Wow," Sonic let out. "Looks good."

"Thanks Sonic," Amy replied. "Ella showed me how to make homemade Apple Pie."

"Our little Amy has quite the knack for baking," Ella commended. "I just might be out of a job soon."

"Well I can't wait to try it," Tails replied, reaching for one of the pies.

"Hey, hold it Tails," Amy insisted, grabbing the pie. "I made that one for Sonic!"

Amy snatched it away, causing Tails to fly right into the TV, causing the picture to cut out. Cream, Cheese, and Helen were all shocked by what happened, the young rabbit beginning to tear up.

"Tails, you broke the TV..."

"I'm sorry," Tails apologized.

"Relax, it just needs a good whack," Kat insisted.

She got up, going over to the TV and knocking on the sides of it. When nothing happened, she tried again, a little harder this time. With a grunt, she crossed her arms.

"That always works back home..."

"You also have a box TV that's older than you are," Keith reminded her.

"What's your point?"

"If it's not the TV itself, maybe it's the satellite dish," Tails suggested, already twirling his tails. "I'll go up to the roof and make sure it's okay."

"Right behind ya, pal," Sonic volunteered.

The two of them made their way up to the roof, with Tails immediately checking the dish.

"How's it looking, Tails?" Sonic asked.

"Everything seems to be alright," Tails observed. "I can't find anything wrong. We should be getting a signal."

Before the topic could be discussed any further a very familiar laughter filled the air.

"I know that laugh anywhere," Sonic recognized.

The two made their way back inside, just as Bokkun entered the room. Knuckles had pulled Helen behind the couch, Kat doing the same with Cream and Cheese. Amy had her hammer out and Ella had a rolling pin in hand, everyone glaring at the devilish robot.

"Well, that's a disappointing welcome if ya don't mind me saying so," Bokkun commented.

"What do you want, you little gremlin?" Knuckles demanded.

"Got a new message for Sonic from Dr. Robotnik," Bokkun answered, pulling out a tablet. "So listen up good."

The screen turned on, revealing Robotnik.

"Greetings, my little warthog," Robotnik greeted. "Sorry it's been so long since my last message, but I've been a busy little bee. Take a look."

The screen shifted, showing the Super Sweeper sucking up all the satellites. Tails instantly recognized what was going on.

"That's why the TV cut out! That thing's swallowing up satellites."

"Indeed it is, fox boy. Even as we speak, my E-90 is high in the stratosphere, collecting all kinds of space junk for me to melt down and convert into my new robot army. So don't get any ideas, Sonic."

"I've kicked your robots butts before," Sonic boasted. "And I'll do it again. No matter how high they fly."

"If you insist on rushing to an early grave, then be my guest. The only thing is with so many robots to be made from this space junk, you might be obsolete Bokkun."

The thought actually made Bokkun start to tear up before flat out balling.

"What's an E-90?" Keith asked.

"It's gotta be one of Eggman's robots," Tails answered.

"What's a stratosphere?" Cream questioned.

"I know it's one of the layers of the sky, but that's about it," Helen told her.

"You're not far off," Tails replied. "It's-"

"A layer of air miles above us!" Chuck finished, barging in. "it's as high as the sky!"

Everyone looked at Chuck in confusion. Kat then crossed her arms, raising an eyebrow.

"Were you just lurking on the other side of the door just waiting for a cue?"

"Uh… I noticed the satellite situation and came to check on everyone when I overheard."

"Ah."

Chuck then noticed the crying Bokkun and decided to do something about it.

"We can do without you, crybaby," he said, picking Bokkun up and carrying him out.

"No!" Bokkun protested. "Put me down!"

"Uh, Chuck, I wouldn't-" Sonic tried to warn.

The robot then smashed the tablet on Chuck's head, causing it to explode. He then peeled off into the sky, laughing the entire time. Keith immediately ran over to his dad with a worried look. Chuck seemed unharmed, but was covered in bits of machinery and a ton of soot.

"Dad, are you ok?"

"Yes, though more than a little annoyed."

"I tried to warn you," Sonic told him. "He likes to do that."

"I guess that robot's really 'da bomb'," Keith commented.

"Really?" Kat questioned, pinching the bridge of her nose. "Eggman's stealing all the world's satellites miles beyond our reach, and you're making puns?"

"Uh… sorry."

"No sweat," Sonic dismissed. "We can just go up in the Tornado."

"The Tornado?" Both Kat and Helen questioned.

Outside, Chuck opened up the garage to reveal the red bi-plane inside. Helen and Kat were genuinely surprised to see the bi-plane, their jaws on the ground.

"Well what do you know," Keith remarked. "The great Kathryn Winters finally rendered speechless."

This earned him a hard punch on the arm as Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles all made for the plane. Once they were all inside, Tails hit the ignition and they took off for the sky.

"Good luck you guys!" Amy shouted, waving at them. "Be careful!"

Up in the stratosphere, the Super Sweeper was continuing to swallow up satellites, much to Robotnik's delight. As he observed its progress, he saw something appear on radar. Sparing a glance, he saw it was the Tornado, and grinned.

"So, Sonic has decided to meet my challenge head on." He turned back to the Super Sweeper display. "E-90! Zap those meddlers!"

The robot obliged, firing several lasers at the oncoming plane. Tails maneuvered the Tornado around the laser blasts as best he could, forcing him to fly right up to the Super Sweepers massive beak as it started to close.

"Look out!" Knuckles called out.

Fortunately, Tails managed to swerve out of the way before the beak snapped shut.

"Looks like we move too fast for it!" Tails declared.

"Awesome job, Tails!" Sonic commended. "See if you can move in closer!"

Tails nodded, moving the Tornado closer to the Super Sweeper. Unfortunately, this was exactly what Robotnik had been counting on. A back panel opened up on the robot, unleashing numerous flares into the sky. Many of them collided together, filling the sky with bright light and jarring explosions.

"Tell me there's more to this plan than getting shot at!" Knuckles shouted.

"Yeah, this!" Tails replied, flying in closer. "Just hold on!"

Tails then began flying over and under the robot, causing E-90 to spin to keep up with the Tornado's constant movement. Even Robotnik was getting dizzy just from watching the footage.

"Here it goes!" Tails declared, opening fire on the robots turrets and destroying them.

"Alright!" Sonic let out.

"I'm gonna swing around so we can finish it off!" Tails declared.

Tails swung the Tornado back around towards the robot, just as it launched several missiles at them.

"Looks like we're up, Knux!" Sonic noted.

"Bout time!" Knuckles declared as he and Sonic leapt off.

The two got to work hopping from one missile to the next, dispatching them with relative ease. Sonic even managed to kick one right back at E-90, hitting it in the face plate. The two landed back on the Tornado with little problem, as Tails steadied them.

All of a sudden, a large section of E-90 was dropped out of the center of the bot. This section sprouted jet engines and took off on a collision course with the Tornado. Tails quickly pulled the plane upwards, just as E-90 opened its beak and activated its hose, trying to pull them in. Tails did his best to steer the plane away from the robot, but the pull from it's hose was too great.

"It's sucking us in!" Sonic shouted.

"Do something, Tails!" Knuckles insisted.

"I'm trying!" Tails replied. "This might be more power than the engines can take!"

After an intense struggle, Tails managed to pull the Tornado out of the pull of the hose. Unfortunately, the Super Sweeper wasn't about to give up on the hunt just yet. It began following the plane, much to the trio's chagrin.

"It's still following us!" Knuckles exclaimed.

"Quick!" Sonic declared, pointing up. "Let's try and lose it in the clouds!"

"Right!" Tails agreed, pulling upwards.

The E-90 maintained its pursuit of the Tornado, even using it's hose to suck up the clouds into itself.

"Is that think sucking up clouds?!" Knuckles let out.

Just then, the Tornado's engine began to cough, belching out black smoke. Tails went pale as the blades stopped rotating.

"Oh no! The engine!"

The Tornado started plumitting downwards, much to the dismay of the heroes. The plane continued falling towards the water, Knuckles and Sonic both clinging to the wings as it spun out of control. Tails kept trying to get the engines back online, the ocean getting closer and closer with every second. Finally, the engines sputtered to life as he straightened out the plan, much to everyone's relief.

Back at the Kent house, Tails went right to work repairing the Tornado's engine, finding the damage worse than he first believed. He patted the side of the plane, a forlorn expression on his face. Chuck came over to check on him, looking concerned.

"Everything alright?"

"Not really. The strain on the Tornado's engine was too much for it to handle. I'll have to rebuild the entire thing from the ground up."

"It's probably for the best," Chuck insisted. "Given what happened, it's clear that whatever this E-90 is, it's far stronger than we anticipated."

"It's my fault. I should've thought of something before it came to this. The Tornado was almost scrap metal today…"

"You couldn't have known what was going to happen."

"Chuck's right, Tails," Sonic agreed, coming into the lab. "You did everything you could. If the plane's the problem, then it might need some of that Tails magic."

Tails cocked an eyebrow in response.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, maybe it's time for the Tornado to get an overhaul. You always talked about upgrading it, and now you have the chance."

Tails mulled it over, thinking for a minute.

"I do have a few ideas, but the power needed to get a plane like the one I want to design up in the air is something this world just doesn't have."

Chuck pondered for a moment before snapping his fingers.

"Our world might not have it, but yours does!"

"You mean the Chaos Emerald?" Tails asked.

"Why not? You said those things were powerful."

"Yeah, but that's also a problem. No one knows how much power the Emeralds possess, and even if I did manage to get it successfully installed, there would be so much excess energy that an overload would be inevitable. This isn't like the Meroke crystals I'm used to."

"So what we need, is a way to burn off the excess energy."

"I wouldn't want to just waste it," Tails insisted before thinking of something. "But, if we had a second engine on board, we would have twice as much energy circulating from the Emerald."

"Do you think that will be enough?" Chuck wondered.

"If we wanna beat Eggman, it's worth a shot."

"But to install a second engine, we'd have to rebuild the plane from the ground up."

"Hey, if anyone can do it, it's Tails," Sonic insisted, patting Tails on the back.

Tails smiled at the confidence Sonic displayed in him.

"I'll lend any help I can," Chuck offered. "In fact, the lab has a sub-section with some tools you might find useful."

"Then let's do it!" Tails cheered.

The next few hours were spent tinkering with the Tornado and its systems. Designing new blueprints, building new parts, adjusting the wiring, and calibrating the internal systems. As the two continued working, Keith came into the lab with coffee and sandwiches

"Hey guys," he greeted. "Ella insisted that you guys eat something so I brought you these."

"Thank you Keith," Chuck replied, putting his tools down and coming over to grab a sandwich. "Tails, you want anything?"

"I think I'm gonna keep working a little longer," Tails replied, not even looking up from his work. "I'm almost done."

The next day, Helen and Cream began waking up at the Birnbaum house. They did their usual routines, brushing their teeth, combing their hair/fur, and getting ready for the day. Cheese even helped, flying down into the kitchen and pouring them both bowls of cereal. He tried to get the milk too, but almost dropped it. Thankfully, Dr. Birnbaum caught the carton before it fell.

"Why don't you let me handle this part?"

Cheese chirped gratefully as the two girls came into the kitchen, Cream pushing Helen's chair. Helen took the two bowls of cereal as the two moved into the living room.

"I wonder if Sonic and the others got the TV back," Helen wondered.

"Let's find out," Cream declared.

She took her bowl of cereal as Helen grabbed the remote, turning on the TV. While the TV was no longer displaying nothing but static, what it was showing made both girls gasp in horror. A placard that had been clearly drawn in crayon dominated the screen, the words "BADNIK TV" in large red letters. All of a sudden, Robotnik's face came into view, startling Cream and making her drop her cereal bowl.

"Good morning!" Robotnik greeted. "It's time for the one and only Dr. Robotnik Show! This program is coming to you live via satellite from my lovely home on Robotnik Island!"

"I don't like this show," Cream commented nervously.

"He's scary," Helen let out.

Dr. Birnbaum immediately grabbed her phone, calling the Kent household.

Within minutes of receiving the call, everyone was gathered around the TV. It was currently displaying what appeared to be a commercial, specifically for the E-90.

"Today's show is brought to you by the amazing Super Sweeper, for a cleaner, safer stratosphere!"

It then switched to Robotnik on what appeared to be a stage, microphone in hand.

"I'm plotting my schemes wherever I go / They're perfect in every way / I'd love to destroy the blue one you know / He's an obstacle that always gets in my way!"

On that last lyric, a crude picture of Sonic descended, prompting Robotnik to punch it, tearing a hole in it.

"I must play in this game by my rules / I will conquer the world with my tools / All my machines are made for destruction / I will build my empire / I will succeed, and you will see / With my machines, there is no retreat!"

The camera panned in on his face as he grinned evilly at the audience.

"I am Robotnik; that's who I am! / I am Robotnik; I've got the master plan / I am Robotnik; that's who I am! / I am Robotnik; I've got the master plan!"

As the song continued, everyone just looked beyond done with the entire situation.

"Man, they'll give a public access show to anyone these days," Sonic commented.

"Kat, are you seeing this?" Keith asked over the phone.

"Yeah, and the more I watch, the more I find myself wanting to either gouge my eyes out, my ears out, or both.

"How about you just bring Knuckles over so we can figure out a way to stop this."

"Right. We're on our way."

Keith hung up, turning back to the TV, showcasing the E-90 as a group of five freshly launched military satellites moved over it.

"Uh-oh, looks like the big bad military wants to ruin my fun. Let them try."

"Does the military even stand a chance?" Keith asked.

Sonic crossed his arms, his expression grim. On screen, the satellites all fired high intensity lasers at E-90, but a massive force field shielded the robot from the attack.

"A feeble attempt at best. Come on Super Sweeper, do your stuff!"

The second the lasers stopped, E-90's hose shot out and swallowed up the satellites like they were candy. This visual didn't bode well for the heroes.

"How the heck are we gonna stop something like that?" Amy asked.

"It's done!" Tails proclaimed, entering the room.

Everyone turned, smiling in delight. Sonic sped to his side.

"It's finally ready?" he questioned.

"Yep! Come see for yourself!"

Outside, everyone gathered around the garage as Tails pressed a button. The garage door opened up, revealing a blue biplane with decals mirroring Tails' twin tails and the word 'Sonic' emblazoned on the wings. It also featured two extra seats encased with domes on either side of the plane.

"Introducing, the Tornado II!"

"Looks great, buddy," Sonic commended.

"As soon as Knuckles gets here, we'll take it up to tangle with Eggman."

At that moment, Kat's truck came rumbling up the driveway. She came to a stop as Knuckles came jumping out of the passenger seat. Once he got a look at the plane, he crossed his arms and looked unimpressed.

"That's your secret weapon?" Knuckles asked, walking up to them. "The Tornado with a paint job and some extra seats?"

"Just wait until you see it in action, Knuckles," Tails promised.

Knuckles just shrugged as he walked over to the plane.

"Whatever, let's just go."

"You heard him," Sonic replied. "Let's do it to it."

The three climbed aboard as Tails prepped the plane for take off. Everyone else retreated into the lab to watch the spectacle unfold. The plane sped down the driveway before lifting up into the air.

"Doctor!" Cubot cried out, flying into the room in a panic. "Doctor, something's approaching the Super Sweeper!"

"We believe it might be Sonic and his friends," Orbot added.

"Highly unlikely considering the thrashing E-90 gave them and their plane last time," Robotnik dismissed.

"Actually, Doctor, they appear to be in a new plane," Orbot clarified.

"What?! There's no way they could've made a new plane over night."

"Well, they did!" Cubot declared. "It's real nice looking too."

"I don't care if they're flying on a winged unicorn! Shoot them out of the sky!"

Up in the Stratosphere, E-90 caught sight of the Tornado II and immediately opened fire on the trio. The plane was easily able to evade the shots being fired at it and return in kind. As E-90 launched several missiles at the group, Tails was able to shoot them down with ease, causing them to explode.

"Yeah!" Tails cheered. "So far, so good."

"Hope you know what you're doing," Knuckles commented.

"Just wait for this," Tails replied. "Activate transformation… now!"

Just then, two claws sprung out, grabbing Sonic and Knuckles, lifting them up as the plane began to transform. The propeller folded inwards as the front of the plane straightened up. The wings split into parts that folded both upwards and downwards. The tail of the plane also extended upwards as a rocket engine came out from under it. The claws then placed Sonic and Knuckles back on the plane as it rocketed forward.

"X-Battle mode engaged!" Tails proclaimed. "Let's do this!"

The Tornado then swooped down towards the robot, skimming along its surface as Tails opened fire on its main turrets, completely destroying it.

"Alright!" Sonic cheered.

"Not bad, Tails," Knuckles commended. "I take back what I said before."

Upon seeing the battle, Robotnik let out a yell of frustration.

"I'll teach that hyperactive hedgehog and his friends to mess with me!"

Suddenly, one of E-90's compartments opened up, revealing one of the military satellites it had snatched. The satellite then began opening fire on the group, causing Tails to maneuver around the blasts.

"I can't get in closer!" Tails reported.

"Don't worry, we got this," Sonic reassured. "Right, Knuckles?"

"Right!"

With that, Sonic and Knuckles leapt off the plane and onto the robot itself. Sonic sped up to the satellite, running around it and keeping its fire on him. Knuckles meanwhile ran straight towards the satellite itself, punching at it so hard that its shell cracked upon impact. The crack travelled all the way up the satellite, causing the dish on top to even pop off before the entire satellite exploded.

"Yeah!" Tails cheered. "Way to go you two!"

"Jobs not over yet, Tails!" Sonic called back as he and Knuckles leapt back onto the plane.

Back at the Kent house, the others were watching the events play out on the TV.

"Isn't Sonic the bravest?" Amy asked dreamily.

"He and the others really seem to be holding their own," Keith commented.

"Hey, it's Sonic and Knuckles," Kat reminded him. "With their power and Tails' plane, Eggman doesn't stand a chance."

Meanwhile, Helen, Cream, and Cheese were watching the events play out themselves, cheering for Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles the entire time. Dr. Birnbaum stood behind them, silently cheering herself.

"Come on Sonic… you can do it."

Back in the air, E-90 continued flying upwards, forcing the Tornado II to continue pursuit. As the Tornado II matched E-90's speed, Sonic and Knuckles leapt off the plane and onto the robot, nearly falling off due to the high speeds. Knuckles dug his fist into the metal as Sonic started to fly off, prompting him to grab his hand just in time.

"Thanks, Knuckles," Sonic told him.

"Try not to fall off. We've still got work to do."

As the two held on for their lives, E-90 launched another barrage of missiles at Tails, prompting him to get fancy in his flying once more. While he was doing that, E-90's hose came out and aimed itself at Sonic and Knuckles, much to their dismay. Seeing this, Tails thought fast and pulled a throttle inside the plane, activating a thruster that shot himself past the missiles, making them crash into each other. He then quickly turned around and opened fire on the hose, completely destroying it.

"No!" Robotnik howled. "You rotten little two-tailed brat! If that's the way you wanna play, fine!"

The E-90 immediately jetescened its cargo before taking off towards the stratosphere. The Tornado II maintained pursuit, with Sonic and Knuckles hopping back on as it got close.

"Alright, we've got him on the run!" Sonic cheered before shivering a little. "Is it getting cold up here, or is it just me?"

"We're approaching the stratosphere," Tails replied. "It's fifty below up here."

"Great..." Knuckles shuddered, clutching himself as ice began to form around his feet. "I hate the cold..."

Soon ice formed around both their bodies, and on the hull of the Tornado II as well. Tails began panicking as systems began shutting down.

"Oh no!" Tails let out. "I never accounted for icing! What do I do now?!"

Tails' mind raced for a solution, suddenly remembering something from his conversation with Chuck the other day.

"So what we need is a way to burn off the excess energy…"

"That's it!" Tails declared, immediately pressing buttons on the console. "If I can transfer the energy output to the hull of the ship…"

Inside the engine, the Chaos Emerald began glowing brightly. Green light flooded the engine, encompassing the entire plane. As the power coursed through each and every circuit, the resulting heat melted the ice, much to the delight of the two warriors on the wings. With a little effort, the two broke through the ice, ready to face down E-90.

"Alright Knuckles, let's finish this," Sonic declared.

"Agreed," Knuckles replied.

He took Sonic's hand, spinning him around before launching him right at E-90. The sweeper snatched up the hedgehog in its beak, seemingly swallowing him. However, this just gave Sonic free reign inside the bot. He smashed everything in sight, reducing the sweeper into scrap in a matter of seconds. Knuckles and Tails cheered for Sonic's victory as the robot went up in smoke.

Back at the Kent house, the TV reception returned to static, much to everyone's annoyance.

"It seems I need to call the Cable Guy," Mr. Tanaka noted.

Helen and Cream saw the same thing, looking at each other in confusion.

"Does this mean Sonic won?" Helen asked.

"I think so," Cream replied.

Sonic meanwhile, was falling towards the planet's surface just as the Tornado II flew up. He quickly grabbed onto the plane's wing as it leveled out and flew off. Both Tails and Knuckles gave him a thumbs up before he returned the gesture in kind.

Back at the Kent house, both Sonic and Knuckles were wrapped in blankets and had their feet soaked in water after their chilling bout in space. Sonic even let out a sneeze due to the chill he was feeling.

"Sonic, Knuckles, I made you my special caliente chili," Ella announced as she brought in two bowls for them. "These will get your tummies feeling nice and warm."

"Thanks Ella," Knuckles replied.

"I know it doesn't really go with chili, but I also brought you some hot cocoa," Amy added, handing them each a steaming mug. "I put extra marshmallows in yours, Sonic."

"Thanks Amy," Sonic replied. "I appreciate it."

"You two did great, taking down Eggman's robot," Chuck commended.

"Eh, we were just support this time," Sonic dismissed. "It was Tails who really came to the rescue today."

"Couldn't have done it without ya, Tails," Knuckles admitted. "Good work."

"Wow… thanks guys," Tails replied nervously.

"Here's to Tails," Sonic proposed, raising his cocoa glass. "The coolest guy I know."

"Cheers!" everyone shouted.
