Out in the Mystic Ruins, Big was sitting under a tree with Froggy, looking up at the sky where Sonic and Shadow were dealing with the ARK. Suddenly, there was a blinding flash of light that made them both turn away.

"I remember that light," Big spoke up. "That's the light that brought us here! We're gonna have more friends, Froggy!"

Froggy croaked happily.

Not too far away, an elderly couple were in their house. The husband was reading the paper and enjoying some coffee while the wife was washing dishes. Just then, a massive shaking caused them both to jump. Running out of their house, they were shocked to find a small house now sitting on their roof.

In the White House, Christina was showing pictures over various houses resting in odd places. This included the small house above the elderly couple, another in a tree, one sitting in traffic, and two more half submerged in a communal pool. However, the most surprising photo was of an entire city that had been dropped into the middle of the canyons of the desert. She laid all these pictures out on the table, showing them to Sonic, Chuck, Keith, Knuckles, Kat, and Tails.

"It seems even more of Mobius was transported in the wake of the ARK incident," Christina explained. "While most of the transported pieces have been contained to the desert, there have been five reports of Mobian houses dropping out of the sky. Construction crews are looking to relocate the houses as we speak."

"Wow…" Tails let out. "First the Mystic Ruin and Angel Island, now Sand Blast City."

"Feels like more and more of home is coming through every day," Sonic remarked.

"And this time, it brought many more Mobians," the President spoke up. "I'm working to establish contact with the city to try and help them adapt to Earth. It's been… slow."

"They're not eager to trust us, given our clear humanity," Christina clarified.

"Eggman did a lot of bad things to a lot of good Mobians," Sonic informed. "Guys who look like him are gonna make them uneasy."

"I surmised as much," The President replied. "That's why I called you all here. You three seem to be the ring leaders of your particular group, and each of you has formed a bond with at least one of the humans with you. We want you to help us show that humans and Mobians can co-exist peacefully."

"I'm sure we can work something out," Knuckles reasoned. "Once they get over the initial hesitancy, you'll find us Mobians to be surprisingly cordial neighbors."

"This coming from the Echidna who literally kicked us to the curb the second we saved his island when we first met," Tails quipped.

"Hey, that was a long time ago!"

"Oh, you've mellowed out since then," Sonic reassured. "One might even say you've become a big softie."

"I'm still tough enough to take you down, funny guy! You and me! Let's go!"

"Knuckles please!" Chuck insisted. "Sorry about that, Mr. President."

"Actually, that was tame compared to his usual stuff," Kat piped up. "Usually he'd just launch himself at Sonic."

"Kat," Keith hissed. "Not helping."

The President chuckled.

"It's quite alright. They are teenagers after all. I remember being quite rambunctious when I was their age. I'm certain it was the same for you, Mr. Kent."

"Quite. We'll arrange a visit over to Sand Blast city within the week."

"Thank you again. I know it'll be difficult to help them adjust, but I'm certain that with a little effort, we'll be able to pull it off."

"As my dad always says: Nothing worth doing was ever easy," Kat declared.

"Then it looks like we've got some work to do," Sonic proclaimed.

Meanwhile at the docks, a larger Mobian house with a red roof and a skylight was resting on the pier. There was a sign that was hanging on the door that read "Team Chaotix Detective Agency". Inside, there were two creatures: a Mobian crocodile and a Mobian Chameleon. The Chameleon was sitting on a pillow in the corner, some incense sticks burning as he meditated to a CD of gentle water and wind. Across the room, the crocodile was messing with a golden chain on its neck as rock music blasted from a pair of large headphones he wore. All of a sudden, the croc let out a roar, standing up and slamming his palms on a desk in front of him.

"Leave it to Charmy to take his own sweet time gettin' here!" He exclaimed. "Where is that bee anyway?!"

"He could've gotten lost," the Chameleon suggested, not even bothering to look up from his meditation. "We're in unfamiliar territory and it's a big city out there."

"The kid can fly, Espio. He can just go up, spot us, and find his way back. I mean, we stand out among all these weird boxes and glass buildings."

"Ok, fair enough. Maybe he just got starstruck by the big city then. You know how easily distracted he can be."

"Well now isn't the time to be distracted! We've been transwarped to Aurora-knows where, and in the middle of a case no less! We need to figure out where we are, and how to get back home!"

Espio sighed, extinguishing his incense and turning off his background noise.

"You're not going to calm down anytime soon, are you, Vector?"

"Personally, I'm surprised you're so calm. We're in a strange place with no clue where we are, no way to get back home, and, oh yeah, WHY IS HALF OF THE MOON MISSING?!"

Espio glanced out the window at the night sky, where the moon remained broken after the Eclipse Cannon destroyed it.

"A good point, I'll admit."

Just then, a Mobian bee came flying through the skylight. He was wearing an aviator's helmet and an orange vest, a pair of goggles on his head. He flew right up to Vector, waving around a newspaper like crazy.

"Vector, Vector! You're never gonna believe it! Not in a million trillion years!"

"Spit it our, Charmy!" Vector demanded. "What is it?"

"We got blown into another world!" Charmy shouted. "I think that light that took us was Chaos Control! Like in the old stories!"

"Chaos Control?" Espio repeated. "That's impossible."

"It's true! It's right here in this newspaper!"

Charmy shook the paper again and Vector snatched it out of his hands. The first thing he saw was a picture of Sonic on the front page.

"Hey, it's Sonic," he recognized. "So this is where he disappeared to." He began reading the paper aloud. "'Sonic has done it again! Sonic the Hedgehog rescued the world from catastrophe once again when he nimbly prevented a long-forgotten space station, the Space Colony ARK, from crashing into the planet yesterday..' What's an ARK, and what do they mean by 'once again?'

"Looks like Sonic's a big shot here too," Charmy surmised.

"So Sonic's a big deal, whatever." Vector crumbled up the paper, tossing it away. "This doesn't help us at all!"

"At least we know we're not the only Mobians here," Espio pointed out. "That's all that really matters."

Suddenly, there was a knock on the front door.

"Who could that be?" Vector asked.

He walked up to the door and opened it, where he was greeted by a construction worker. He had a few other workers behind him, as well as what looked like a moving truck.

"Good evening," he greeted. "We're here to move your domicile out of the loading docks."

Vector stared at the man, Charmy flying up to look over his shoulder and Espio stepping into the hall to look. Both Vector and Charmy screamed instantly as Espio suddenly turned invisible. Vector slammed the door shut, leaning against it in terror.

"Humans!" He screamed. "We're surrounded by Eggmen!"

The very next day, Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, Keith, Kat, and Chuck all drove through the desert towards Sand Blast City. The city was surrounded by a large energy dome, two Mobian soldiers wearing sand scarves and cloaks watching the main gate. When the car pulled up, the two guards marched up to it. One of the guards, a tan-furred rabbit, approached the front window.

"State your business," the rabbit requested, a female voice coming from under the sand mask.

"Just dropping by to say hi," Sonic replied, leaping out of the car.

The rabbit went wide-eyed. The scarf parted, revealing the rabbit had mechanical legs and a mechanical left arm. She removed it entirely, revealing a pink suit underneath and fur tied back in what looked like a ponytail.

"Sonic?" she let out. "Is that you?"

"Bunnie? Hey! Long time no see! How ya been?"

"Sonic?" The other guard said, a male voice that sounded almost french. "Impossible!"

"I know that accent anywhere. If it isn't old Antoine himself. Gotta say you're sounding a little less snively then usual."

The other guard removed his scarf and cloak, revealing an older coyote with blonde hair parted down the middle. He smiled, holding out his hand.

"Well, the last year has been rather difficult for us Freedom Fighters," Antoine explained. "When you vanished, everyone thought you were dead."

"We all did in a way," Bunnie admitted. "Then this happened, and you're here!"

"Chaos Control, believe it or not," Sonic informed. "First it sent us here, then the Mystic Ruins, and now you guys."

"And who knows who else," Tails added.

By now, everyone was out of the car, smiling at the pair. When Bunnie and Antoine saw the three humans, they were immediately on the offensive.

"Who are they?" Antoine questioned, a rapier in his hand as he pointed it right at Chuck. "Are they prisoners?"

"Take it easy Antoine," Sonic insisted, speeding in front of them. "They're our friends!"

"Friends?" the pair repeated.

"It's a long story," Knuckles insisted. "Maybe we can talk inside? We're here on behalf of the President?"

"Who?" Bunnie asked.

"The guy in charge," Tails explained. "He wants to try and help out Sand Blast City and prove that not all humans are like Eggman."

"How does he know about Eggman?" Antoine wondered.

"He followed us when we came here," Sonic explained, crossing his arms. "And he's been nothing but trouble ever since. He even blew up the moon!"

"Ya know, I was wonderin' why there was only half a moon," Bunnie remarked, glancing up at the sky before squinting. "Hey… there's something flying towards it."

The group looked up and saw some kind of rocket streaking across the sky.

"What the heck?" Knuckles let out.

In the whitehouse, Jerome got off the phone, looking panicked.

"Sir!" he shouted. "Robotnik's just launched a rocket from his base! It's on a collision course with the moon!"

""What?!" the President exclaimed. "Isn't it bad enough he destroyed the first half of it?! What is he thinking?!"

"You're about to find out, sir," Christina spoke up. "He's contacting us via video."

"Not again."

Suddenly, Robotnik appeared on the screen, seeming much less malicious than usual.

"Hello Mr. President. Do not be alarmed, I have not called to threaten or antagonize you."

"Then why have you called?"

"To apologize for the ARK fiasco. Things got quite out of hand to be sure. I never intended for things to go as far as they did, and as a show of remorse, I've decided to repair the moon free of charge. After all, the moon functions much better as a perfect sphere, don't you think?

"Uh… yes. That's very considerate of you."

"Why thank you. Now sit back and watch some true mechanical genius at work."

The screen switched to show Robotnik's missile, which had just ditched its rear boosters and had switched to a more powerful one. It arrived at the moon, touching down in the center. Soon metal began to form the broken half of the moon, connecting like pieces of a puzzle and repairing the moon in a handful of minutes.

Back in front of Sand Blast City, the group watched the moon repair itself, the mechanical pieces making Sonic instantly uneasy.

"Eggman…"

He instantly took off, much to everyone's surprise. Keith then turned back to Bunnie and Antoine, smiling awkwardly.

"Maybe we should save the diplomatic visit for later," he remarked.

"Don't fret about it, sugar," Bunnie assured him. "You go help Sonic with whatever that bad egg has cooked up this time."

"We'll spread the word of your President's peaceful intentions," Antoine promised.

The group nodded, then retreated back to the car, driving off after Sonic.

Back with Team Chaotix, the Construction crew had managed to finally move their agency, setting it up in an empty plot in the city. It was resting between two skyscrapers, the tiny building dwarfed by their sheer height. Inside, Vector and Espio were pouring over several newspapers and magazines, each of them containing an article about Sonic and his friends. There were even travel brochures for Mystic Ruin, and a notice about Angel Island being a no-fly-zone. Charmy came flying in through the skylight, carrying more papers.

"Here's some more research material!" He declared, dropping the stack on Vector's desk.

"Nice work Charmy," Vector replied.

"It's surprising that Sonic is so popular with all these humans," Espio remarked, flipping through an article. "And he's got some rather famous company."

"Yeah," Vector agreed. "Apparently Sonic's been living it up with some movie star's kid."

"Not just him!" Charmy pointed out. "Tails and Amy are there too! Look!"

He pointed to a group photo, which showed the trio standing with Keith, his mother, and his father after his race with Sam Kent. Vector looked at that, then began to think.

"Hang on… Hey Espio! Where's that list of missing people after that first big light ball?"

"It's on your desk," Espio replied.

Vector looked at his desk, which was covered in teetering towers of paper. Vector started tearing through the papers, searching for what he was looking for. Papers rained down all across the office until there was nothing left on his desk. Charmy then looked at the falling papers, catching one.

"Here it is!" he cheered.

Vector snatched it up, putting it on his desk. He then took the article he'd been reading earlier, as well as the Angel Island notice, placing them there as well. He began circling names on the list, then circling names in the article and notice. When he finished, there was only one name that was left uncircled.

"Bingo!" Vector declared. "Espio, where's that movie star's kid live? We need to get there ASAP."

"Why?" Espio asked.

Vector grinned, opening a drawer in his desk and pulling out a polaroid photo.

"Because, we may just be able to solve our case after all."

He looked down at the photo, which showed Cream sitting in a field of flowers, holding Cheese while smiling.

Back at the Kent House, everyone was gathered around the table, including Cream and Helen.

"It only took him ten minutes," Tails insisted. "We could all see it. I would be amazed if I didn't know who was responsible."

"You don't think Eggman's turned the moon into a bomb or something, do you?" Keith questioned.

"I'm not sure," Chuck admitted. "From what you told me, he did seem pretty shaken up after learning his grandfather's true intentions."

"For all we know it could have been an act," Knuckles remarked bitterly. "He's known for playing the victim."

"Maybe so, but that felt genuine," Kat admitted. "He seemed just as scared and confused as we were. Heck, he even helped us out."

"Look, take it from someone who's been on the receiving end, trusting Eggman always leads to trouble."

Kat held her hands up in concession.

"Honestly, I'm surprised this whole thing hasn't sent you two running back for Angel Island," Amy remarked. "Considering the Emerald's been shattered twice in the past two weeks, I figured you'd be particularly paranoid."

"I was, until Tails installed a security system for me," Knuckles explained. He developed an energy field that will only allow me and Kat to pass through, given our connection to the Master Emerald."

"It was a fun puzzle to figure out," Tails admitted.

"Well, we have a new puzzle to worry about right now," Keith insisted. "What is Eggman planning to do with the mechanical moon?"

"And more importantly, where's Sonic?" Amy asked.

Meanwhile, Sonic ran across the desert, hoping to reach the city soon. As he ran though, he came skidding to a stop as he approached a cliff, seeing a familiar face looking out over Station Square.

"You," Sonic snarled.

Robotnik glanced over his shoulder, his face surprisingly calm and remorseful.

"Hello Sonic. Lovely afternoon, isn't it?"

Sonic raised an eyebrow in response.

Team Chaotix hopped the fence surrounding the Kent house, taking refuge in the thick bushes surrounding it. The three then began spying through the window, taking note of everyone there.

"Well, well, looks like the gang's all here," Vector remarked. "Even the Echidna came off his floating isle."

"Except no Sonic," Espio noted.

"Figures. Always running off to some big adventure."

"You jealous?" Charmy asked.

"You bet- who asked you?!"

Charmy chuckled in response.

"Got ya, didn't i?"

"Never mind that. Let's get back to the job at hand. We got ourselves a damsel in distress to rescue here!"

He began looking through his binoculars, finally setting his sights on Cream. She was sitting on Helen's lap, the girl gently holding her like a stuffed animal. Vector growled at the sight.

"We got a problem. There's a human sitting on some sort of weird super chair. She's got our target prisoner."

"What?" The other two let out.

"Are you certain?" Espio questioned.

"See for yourself," Vector told him, handing him the binoculars.

Espio took a look and saw Helen's chair, a grimace reaching his face.

"Why is no one doing anything about this?" He muttered.

"You don't think they're in on it, do you?" Charmy asked. "Maybe they're holding Cream prisoner!"

"They just might be," Vector agreed. "We need a way to get inside, now!"

"Leave that to me," Espio offered, turning invisible.

He turned himself invisible, silently making his way over to the house. As he approached the window, everyone had moved away from the table and were now gathered around the couch.

"You think Sonic went after Eggman?" Amy questioned.

"Probably," Tails remarked. "He seemed really uneasy when he saw the moon."

"Hey, we all were," Knuckles pointed out. "Don't act like you weren't phased."

"Believe me, we all were," Tails confirmed. "It's just that Sonic takes Eggman's plans a bit more seriously than we do."

"Hey, we take things seriously," Kat argued, grabbing her bat. "I mean, I don't go anywhere without this baby anymore. Wouldn't be caught dead without it."

She gave it a swing, unfortunately connecting with the invisible Espio's face. He fell hard to the ground, unconscious in an instant. Kat blinked, lowering her bat.

"Did I just hit something?"

Outside, Espio shimmered back into sight at the base of the window, a massive bump on his head. Charmy quickly flew over, grabbing him by his arm and dragging him across the yard and into the bush. Vector carefully laid him out, gently patting Espio's face to wake him up.

"Hey buddy, you alright?"

Espio groaned, a hand going to his head.

"That girl… has a mean swing…"

Vector growled, getting to his feet.

"Ok, that's it! No one attacks my pal and gets away with it! Come on Charmy! We're rescuing Cream and making them pay!"

Back on the cliff, Robotnik was just sitting on the ground, looking out to the city as Sonic stood next to him coyly.

"So, what's your big plan for the moon? Another Eclipse Cannon?"

"Actually no. I'm not up to anything this time. What happened back on ARK… it was too much, even for me."

"Really?"

"Yes, really. I never intended to destroy the world. I never wanted that. My grandfather crossed that line and became a true monster. To think I used to look up to him..."

"Life's tough. You taught me that lesson better than anyone."

"I know I've caused you pain, and there's no way I can make up for that. All I can offer you is this one moment of peace. No schemes, no robots, no dastardly backhand. I'm taking an extended vacation until I can sort through all these thoughts and feelings."

Sonic just gritted his teeth, not buying any of what Robotnik was saying.

"You honestly expect me to buy a word of that? You're up to something, and whatever it is, I'm gonna stop you."

"Believe what you want Sonic, it's the truth. I'm honestly considering giving up this feeble crusade for conquest. Bet you'd like that. Goodbye world domination, hello shuffle board."

"You really know how to lay it on thick, don't you?"

"Like I said, believe what you want."

Robotnik then got up and climbed into the Egg Mobile, silently turning it on.

"So long, Sonic."

Robotnik then flew off, leaving an irritated Sonic.

"'Goodbye world domination, hello shuffle board'," Sonic mimicked. "Yeah, right. Who does he think he's-"

"Excuse me?" an angelic voice called from behind him.

Sonic turned, gasping in surprise.

"You..."

Kat was sitting on the window sill, looking into the living room.

"I don't think Sonic's coming back anytime soon," she remarked.

Just then, Vector sprang up and tackled Kat, both of them crashing onto the ground. Everyone turned, shocked as Vector pinned Kat and prepared to punch her.

"This is for Espio!"

"Hey, back off pal!" Knuckles shouted, punching Vector off of Kat.

Kat got back up, reclaiming her bat as Charmy came flying through the window. He saw Knuckles and Vector tussling and aimed his stinger at the Echidna.

"Taste stinger, you jerk!"

He aimed, but Kat quickly batted him back out the window, right into the tree Espio was laying under.

"Keith, get your gloves," she insisted. "Someone's trying to pick a fight."

Keith nodded in response, running to his room to get his weapons. Meanwhile, Amy summoned her hammer, running over to Vector.

"You picked a bad time to mess with us, buddy!"

She swung with all her strength, sending Vector flying hard into a wall.

"Ow! Watch it, girlie! I'm in no mood to play!"

He grabbed the hammer by the handle and picked her up.

"Now back off!"

He tossed her aside, Tails quickly moving to catch her. That's when an energy ball came flying at Vector, completely frying his headphones and leaving the croc with char marks on his face.

"You guys ok?" Keith asked.

Amy nodded as Tails put her down. Kat and Knuckles both gave nods, then the latter took notice of the window.

"The bee's back, and he brought a friend!"

Sure enough, Espio and Charmy were climbing back through the window, rushing at Cream and Helen. Charmy pulled Cream out of Helen's grip as Espio shoved her back, causing the girls to scream.

"CREAM!" the others all shouted.

"Vector, we got her!" Espio shouted. "Let's go!"

Kat and Keith instantly blocked the window, both of them glaring maliciously.

"Out of the way," Espio demanded. "We're taking the bunny."

"Yeah, give up!" Charmy added,

"Excuse me sir, but where would you take me?" Cream asked.

"You don't honestly think we'd let them take you, do you?" Kat questioned.

"Just asking."

"Don't make this any harder than it has to be," Espio demanded.

"Your friend chose the hard way when he attacked us, and you sealed the deal by trying to kidnap Cream!" Knuckles shouted.

"You asked for it!"

Espio leapt at Knuckles, tackling him to the ground. Kat quickly jumped into the fray, trying to pull Espio off. Vector intervened at that point, grabbing at the teens to get them off. That got Amy to jump in with her hammer, the group all tussling. Charmy looked at the massive fight, shrugged, then dove in as well. The group wrestled and fought, doing everything from biting to hair pulling and kicking in soft spots. As the fighting continued, Sonic opened the door and saw the fighting play out.

"Hey! What's going-?" Sonic could barely get a word out over the comotion. "Quiet!"

Suddenly, everyone stopped mid-fight, with Knuckles ready to punch Espio, Kat on Vector's back as he held down Tails, and Amy's mallet right above Charmy's head. Cream was kind of just sitting on the ground in the middle, surprisingly untouched and unharmed. She gave a happy wave as she stood up, walking around the frozen fighters.

"Hi Sonic," she greeted. "Welcome back."

"Thanks Cream. Now, what's going on here?"

"The crocodile tackled me, then the bee and the weird purple thing tried to kidnap Cream," Kat explained.

"Us tried to kidnap?" Vector repeated, prying Kat off. "We were trying to rescue the girl from you, Mr. Sonic the Kidnapper."

"Kidnapper? I think you've got your headphones on too tight."

"No, I don't! And even if I did, your little friend with the freaky gloves fried them!"

"You were attacking us!" Keith defended. "Without reason, I might add!"

"We had reason!" Charmy insisted. "That wild girl hit Espio!"

Kat blinked.

"Wait… I hit one of you?" She questioned. "Which one?"

"That would be me," Espio answered. "And you have one heck of a back hand."

"Uh, thanks."

"Hey!" Vector shouted. "Stop fraternizing with the enemy! These mooks were holding Creamy prisoner and using that girl in the super chair to keep her docile!"

All of a sudden, Tails broke out into laughter. Everyone turned to him, looking at him in confusion.

"Uh..." Sonic let out, "care to share with the rest of us, Tails?"

"They thought Helen's wheelchair was a weapon! We don't have wheelchairs back on Mobius, so they didn't realize it's a medical tool!"

"It is?" Charmy asked.

"Don't you see, he's trying to dupe us," Vector reasoned.

"Actually, no," Helen spoke up, rolling over. "I was born with a condition that prevents me from walking. This chair is how I get around. I don't have weapons, I'm six."

"So am I!" Charmy argued.

"Your weapon's attached to your butt," Kat snorted. "Doesn't count."

"If I could have everyone's attention for more than five seconds," Sonic spoke up. "I've got someone very important here for you all to meet."

The front door opened and a tall Mobian rabbit walked in. She had the same coloring as Cream with a patch of brown hair on the top of her head. She was wearing a lilac colored dress with a magenta vest and a blue ascot. She gave the room a warm, angelic smile, causing Vector to blush.

"It's… it's you…"

"How nice to see you again, Detective," she greeted.

Cream locked eyes on the rabbit and gasped, her eyes watering up as her hands flew to her mouth. The tall rabbit bent down, holding out her arms.

"My little girl… I've finally found you."

"Mom!" Cream cried out, rushing towards the rabbit.

The two held one another tightly, both of them sobbing happy tears. Sonic smiled, turning to the group.

"Everyone, meet Vanilla the Rabbit, Cream's mother."

"I don't believe it," Keith let out.

"She must have come through with Chaos Control," Tails realized.

"Oh Cream, I'm so happy for you!" Helen cheered.

Sonic smirked, then pushed Helen over to Vanilla.

"This is Helen. She and her folks have been taking care of Cream and Cheese for awhile now."

Vanilla looked up, smiling and holding out a hand. Helen took it, smiling.

"Thank you for watching over my baby girl," she said gratefully.

"Oh, it was nothing," Helen assured her. "Cream is my best friend."

Everyone watched the scene happily, then Knuckles turned to Team Chaotix, crossing his arms.

"So, are you three going to apologize or what?"

"Apologize?!" Vector exclaimed. "For what?"

"Accusing us of being kidnappers, hurting Kat, attacking us, trying to kidnap Cream."

"We were trying to rescue her! Just like her mother hired us to!"

"It's true," Vanilla confirmed. "When I found out Cream was gone, I hired Vector and his detective agency to bring her home. Of course, I knew she was alright when I found out Sonic was looking after her. Thank you again Sonic, I'm so grateful."

"Eh, it was nothing," Sonic replied. "Cream's a great kid. She even lent a hand here and there."

"Sonic? Grateful?" Vector repeated.

"Oh will you get it through your thick skull already?" Kat snapped. "Cream was never in any danger with us, you ding dong!"

"Uh… I think we'd better go."

Suddenly, Sonic sped in front of him.

"Hey Vector, remember me? I'm Sonic the Kidnapper."

"Hey, my old pal Sonic. Wish we could catch up, but we gotta run."

"What's the rush?" Amy asked. "We were just getting into the swing of things."

"Yeah," Keith agreed. "We were having a blast."

"You dropped in for a visit, so stay a spell," Kat insisted, picking up her bat.

"Really, we don't want to impose," Vector insisted.

"I detect a little uneasiness, detective," Sonic remarked.

Everyone just laughed, enjoying the absurdity of the situation and the happiness of the reunion.
