Sorry for the longer than usual wait to this one. I did want it out sooner but holiday recovery as well as this new crap schedule my job has me working now, it leaves me little time to write. Usually I work morning shifts but now I'm working closing shifts at work and it's throwing everything off. Plus it screws with my mentality a LOT. So yeah I get to deal with finding a new job now since they've made it clear they don't care. That's taken up a lot of my time but I do have a lead on one. So hope for me. For now, let's get to it. Warning. It's long.

I only own the plot of this story and my OC Camilla Sharro. All characters and locations in the MHA world are property of Kōhei Horikoshi. Star Wars is owned by Disney. Enjoy the new chapter!

Binding the Galaxy Together

Chapter 18 – Final Months of Training

Time kept passing by since the day of secrets passed. Camilla, Ryukyu, and Mirko learned about All Might's and Izuku's secret regarding the number one hero's injury and his impossible quirk; One For All. Izuku and All Might in turned learned about Camilla's secret about her true heritage as an alien, the Jedi, the Force, and the Clone Wars. Tsukauchi knew both secrets while Ochako knew neither of them beforehand. Thankfully though, everyone was able to calm down enough to the point where all sides agreed to keep the secrets each other held safe and guarded. Also in the case of the teenagers, their friendship wasn't broken because of this; rather it was now stronger than ever. Now Izuku nor Camilla had anything more to hide and didn't have to lie or dance around certain questions. The relief felt like the first breath of fresh air after a rainfall. In Ochako's specific case, learning that her two fellow U.A. hopefuls were harboring such major secrets like this was a shock. But once she calmed down, she came to realize that she was being told these things because her friends who kept them trust her. It made her feel really good to know Izuku and Camilla could count on her with these giant secrets.

What felt a lot less good was what came after.

"Have the two of you ever wanted to learn how to sword fight?"

Of all the questions Mirko could have asked her and Izuku that day, that was certainly not one she was expecting. Though when she explained why she asked, only then did it make sense. It was to help Camilla. Both of them had to think about it. Izuku's schedule was already chock full of day to day routines with his training so learning how to wield a lightsaber was probably not going to work. All Might agreed saying adding more onto Izuku's plate would do more harm than good. He made sure Izuku heard him loud and clear when he said that, which made the green haired boy start to think his mentor was onto him. Ochako however, she had no such restrictions. Since she lived on her own and only had school to deal with, she was more than willing to help when she could. Plus it might be useful to learn how to sword fight. Heroes had to be as versatile as possible after all. With her quirk being one mostly useful in rescue and cleanup situations, Ochako figured learning to fight and toughen her muscles would be a great benefit. With that, the gravity girl became Camilla's unexpected first student in lightsaber wielding.

It was knowledge the young Padawan could easily pass on, but she was still a learner herself. The braid on her head was a literal symbol of that. So teaching someone else for someone like her felt very…odd to say the least. But she wasn't just teaching for Ochako. This was for herself too. The faster she could get her friend up to speed on holding one saber, they could both move onto wielding two at once. And so the very next weekend after the secret sharing day, Ochako headed out with them to Mandalore Island to begin training.

Ochako was a little disappointed to see that she was going to be swinging a bokken training sword rather than one of Camilla's lightsabers. But after the young Jedi demonstrated just how easy it was for her to chop through a broken down car, the brunette was very much for the idea of practicing with something that couldn't take off a limb with a wrong move. It started with Camilla teaching Ochako Form One, also known as Shii-Cho. The basic stances and movements, Ochako caught onto pretty fast. The Padawan didn't spend too much time on that and moved onto Form Two pretty past. This was where Ochako had trouble. Stances, strikes, and blocks were one thing. Moving was another. Mirko or Ryukyu could tell just by watching Ochako attempt to spar with Camilla that she relied a lot more on her quirk then she did most other skills. The girl was stiff in most of her moves and constantly got knocked on her butt by the blind girl. Progressively she got better but if she was ever going to reach a point where she was ready to dual wield, that progress had to speed up. Not just for Camilla's sake but for Ochako's own now too.

It took a lot of effort, time, bruises, and cleaning sand off her body from falling, but come mid November, Ochako was able to get herself to a point where she could competently hold her own in a duel with a trained Jedi Padawan who had been holding a sword in her hand nearly her whole life. She couldn't win. No chance in hell she was that skilled yet. But she didn't have to be. Camilla herself even deemed that she was good enough with one sword to take the first steps into learning how to use two. Today was going to be the day they started.

It was now the last weekend of November. Every Saturday and Sunday morning, Ochako had made it a habit to get up with the sun and make it to Ryukyu's in time for the trip to Mandalore Island. She stepped out into the cold fall air with her jacket and hands in her pockets to walk. In her hand, she carried her wooden bokken with her. Only this time, she wasn't alone.

"Are you sure it's alright for you to come with us, Deku?"

Ochako looked to her green haired friend who too was dressed in his own warm clothes and had a notebook under his arm. Izuku glanced her way and smiled.

"All Might's gonna be out of town for a few days working a case. I already put in my time cleaning up at the beach today. I was gonna run a couple miles too but there's nothing in his plan that says I can't do it on Mandalore Island."

Since learning about One For All, Izuku later explained to his friends the training regimen All Might made up for him to work his body up to the best shape it could be to receive the quirk. Just a couple weeks ago, he confessed that his constantly tired state he had been seen in was due to him overworking himself both in his studies and his workouts. He was scolded by All Might of course, not happy about Izuku taking things so far. But when he explained why, Ochako and Camilla couldn't help but be impressed. True physically he was improving. But Izuku still had a long way to go to be on par with everyone else applying for the school. He was at least a decade behind everyone else and wanted to be able to stand as much of a chance at passing as they did. He didn't just want to work harder, he knew he needed to and wasn't afraid to put in that extra effort. So All Might adjusted his plan accordingly. Though he did get two bops to the head from Ochako and Camilla telling him to not worry them anymore. He agreed.

That brings them to now with Izuku sporting a huge smile on his face as he thought about today and where it would literally take him.

"Oh I can't wait to see that island." He said with stars in his eyes. "I've looked up so many photos but nothing can compare to seeing it with your own eyes."

Ochako smiled in kind with Izuku. He was right after all.

"It feels so surreal being there." She said to her friend. "Like at one point in time, so many people lived there but then they just had to up and leave everything behind. It's not even like they left. It's something right out of one of those old movies where the people just…vanish."

Izuku wasn't one for horror movies like that. But when would he ever get another chance to see this place? According to Ryukyu, the clearance the government granted them to go there expired the day of the U.A. entrance exam. Unless hero work in the future calls him out there which would be highly unlikely, this may be his only shot to see this island not through his computer screen.

Before Izuku could comment how cool it was gonna be, they reached Ryukyu's building and walked in. Before they reached the elevator door though, it opened and out of it walked Nejire with a small trash bag in her hand and a face mask covering her mouth and nose.

"Hado?" Izuku was beyond confused.

"Oh, hi Midoriya. Hey Uraraka." Nejire greeted as she passed by them.

Also in the time since the secret reveals, Nejire had been informed that Izuku, Ochako, and even All Might now knew Camilla's identity as a Jedi. But Ryukyu and Mirko were true to their word when they kept One For All from her.

"Is everything alright?" Ochako was concerned. "Why are you wearing that mask?"

Peeking back out from the kitchen, Nejire flicked one of the mask's strings off her ear and let her smile shine for both of them to see.

"Just keeping myself safe. I haven't gotten my flu shot yet so I need to be covered up when I'm near her."

Izuku and Ochako looked at each other confused and concerned now.

"Near who?" Izuku inquired.

Hado's smile shortened a bit but she kept it still visible. Coming around she figured these two didn't know yet and reached into her back pocket. Two unused masks were flashed to the two middle schoolers and Nejire told them to put them on as the elevator let them back on, when they reached the second floor, Nejire put her own back on and walked to the door that led to the Padawan's room.

"Someone caught her first ever cold."

She opened the door and allowed Izuku and Ochako to peek in. What they saw inside was indeed their friend. But she was still in bed and wearing nothing but the top of her pajamas. There was a hot rag on her head, crumpled tissues surrounding her, the box they were coming from on her nightstand next to the bed, and her nose looking nearly as red as her unkempt ruby hair. Izuku and Ochako were both concerned that their friend wasn't well, but they couldn't deny just how cute the all powerful Jedi looked when she was sick with a cold.

"Huh…uhh…HUUHT! CHOO! Huhchoo! Hut! Choo!"

Each sneeze made Camilla sit more and more up until she was bent at a 90 degree angle. She reached over and took another tissue out of the box and blew her nose roughly into it before sloppily discarding it like all the rest.

"Bless you."

Her head shot back up as she looked to the door. She didn't need to see here. She knew the voices of her two friends together by heart at this point.

"Oh…hey Ochako. Hey Izuku. Sorry but…*SNIFF! SNIFF!*…I don't think we're training today."

"Hey don't worry about that one bit." Ochako walked all the way in and took a seat next to where R3 was standing. "You just need to focus on getting better."

Izuku smiled under his masked and joined his friends. He didn't wanna stay too long out of fear of getting sick himself but he also didn't want to leave Camilla alone right now.

"She's right. Trust me, All Might tore into me already about pushing myself when I don't need to. Trying to train while you're sick is only gonna make you worse."

"You mean it can actually get worse than this? That's….huh….ah…"

She scrambled for a tissue as her jaw fell open. When she didn't reach one, she balled up her first and held it up to her mouth.

"HUHCHOO! HUHCHOOO! HUHTCHOO!"

After that short onslaught of sneezes, Camilla just let herself fall back into the pillow while groaning in misery. Izuku and Ochako did nothing but sit there and watch their sick friend finally get a tissue from the box and blow her nose into it.

"Bless you." Ochako said again.

Camilla didn't respond and let the crumpled up tissue fall to the floor by R3's foot.

"This is it. I'm going to die. Not from a war or my own troops turning on me. But from a stupid little sickness that makes me sneeze every five seconds. What kind of fate is this for a Jedi? Huh? Tell me."

"Oh will you relax you big baby?" Izuku walked over and pulled a blanket up over his sick friend. "It's just a cold. I'm honestly surprised it took you this long to get one."

"Yeah. Everyone in the world sooner or later comes down with a cold. Just a fact of living life as an Earthling you'll have to get used to. Just like how I'll have to get used to the fact that saying sentences like that is actually part of my normal life now."

As miserable as she was feeling, that statement from Ochako did get Camilla to crack a smile and even the smallest giggle out of her sore throat. Izuku was happy to see that as he sat back down next to Ochako.

"It'll just be one or two more days until you're all better. What you're feeling right now is the worst of it. Just a little cold medicine and rest will fix you right up."

"Yeah you're gonna be fine in time for Christmas. We promise." Ochako joked.

That joke however didn't make Camilla laugh. She just turned their head so her eyes were close to locking onto to them and spoke.

"What's Christmas?"

The three Earthborn humans all looked around in shock at each other as they realized they had yet to teach Camilla about most some of Earth's holidays! She got Halloween explained to her the night of when she stepped out one night and was more than confused about the shapes of the costumes the Force was sensing. It made little to no sense to the poor Jedi. People dressing up in costumes to pretend they're someone else for fun? On only one night of the year? And they give out candy to kids who knock on their doors? Needless to say but a lot of questions were asked and Izuku spent most of the night answering them while wearing a horrible self made replica of All Might's bronze age costume.

Nejire came into the room fully and closed the door behind her wanting to take part in this explanation as well. Maybe it would help Camilla feel a little better.

"Ooooooooooooohhhhh Camilla! You're gonna love Christmas! It's another holiday on Earth that's celebrated in so many different parts of it!"

The red nosed girl adjusted herself a little bit in her bed while to listen. R3 turned his head in the direction of the three Earthlings interested in the new term as well. When she was ready, they went on to explain the holiday to her as simply as possible. Izuku started.

"Christmas only happens once a year on December 25th. It's a day where friends and family come together to celebrate and wish each other peace on Earth."

Then Ochako went.

"Yeah! People really get into the spirit of the holiday by decorating their homes, singing carols, and making all sorts of yummy food to share!"

Nejire took a turn.

"And then there's the big detail. It's not the most important reason for the season mind you, but it is one of the most fun parts. The presents."

At that last word, Camilla and R3 seemed to just stare at them as if they had just heard the word for the first time. The two of them glanced at each other, and then back at the trip of teens before them.

"Presents?" Camilla asked.

"Yeah." Nejire nodded excitedly. "The biggest Christmas custom of them all is to get each of your closest friends a gift from your heart! And they in turn get you one!"

Nejire was hoping for a look of excitement or at least a small smile from Camilla once she heard she would be getting gifts too. Ochako and Izuku were thinking along those lines too. They always remembered how excited they would get around Christmastime as kids and now Camilla was about to have her very first. But she wasn't smiling. If anything she just looked all the more confused about what she heard.

"Hey…Camilla?" Ochako hoped she wasn't blacking out or anything. "You okay?"

"Hm?" Camilla perked her head back up. "Yes, Ochako. *SNIFF!* I'm alright. It's just I've never given a gift to anyone before. I don't know how exactly to go about it with this Christmas."

Thinking back on the lifestyle she grew up in, her Jedi temple, the one U.A. student and two other U.A. hopefuls realized they should have come to that sooner. But they never really talked about gifts like this before so they just kept going, choosing to talk about it now.

"Well it doesn't matter. Not really anyway." Izuku waved it off. "Christmas is mostly about being with the people you care about and enjoying their company."

"Deku's right. Don't worry about the gifts if you don't want to. I'm more than happy to just spend the holiday laughing with the two of you." Ochako only wished she could show that smile of hers through her mask.

"Same here!" Izuku flashed a thumbs up. "Honestly the just knowing I'm friends with an actual alien life form is a gift that's gonna keep giving for the rest of my life!"

Ochako and Nejire could both attest that was the real truth and nothing but. The three of them all looked and saw Camilla smile again just the same as before as she listened to the words ring in her head.

"That does sound wonderful." She whispered.

The dome shaped head of R3 turned to view his sniffling master and beeped her way. The girl looked confused for a moment before she let out a small gasp and brought a hand to below her neck. Her fingertips traced the silver Jedi symbol charm on her necklace.

"You're right…it would be if they did."

"What did he say?" Izuku asked, wondering just how Camilla could understand bleeps.

"He said if any of you got me a gift it would be my first ever since this."

She held out the necklace from her neck to show them before letting the chain fall again.

"The necklace your brother made?" Ochako wanted to be sure.

Camilla nodded and was about to explain but before she could-

"Do you have to go, Cayden?"

The voice she heard as her own caught her attention. Realizing what was happening, she rapidly turned to her droid trying not to mind the headache it gave her.

"No. R3, shut it off. I don't-"

Her desperate complaint was cared not for by R3 as he beeped once more effectively telling her to hush as he projected in front of Izuku, Ochako, and Nejire an image of a younger Camilla Sharro around the size of nine or ten year old. She looked about the same only with shorter hair like she had when she first came to Earth, and she had no Padawan braid. In front of her looked to be a boy with similar facial features and a bit taller. His hair looked like it was short and combed back and he did have a Padawan braid. This boy had to be Cayden Sharro, Camilla's older brother.

"I'm sorry Camilla, but I do. This is what I've been training for. I'm a Padawan now so wherever my master goes, I go to."

The projected Camilla started sniffling, trying to hold back her tears. The real one was doing so as well.

"But what will happen to me without you? Everyone else still makes fun of me! Without you here they'll never stop!"

"Remember what I told you." Cayden rested his hands on the shoulders of his younger sister and pulled her into a warm hug. "You're strong too. You always have been ever since you learned how to see without your eyes. Now you gotta show everyone else that. As for being without me? Well…"

The projection of Cayden reached into his robes and pulled out a small necklace. He wrapped the chain around his sister's neck and the girl held it in her hands trying to make it out.

"As long as you got this on, then I'll always be with you. I promise."

The younger version of Camilla let the necklace go and threw herself into her older brother's body in a tight embrace. Adorable as it was to see a smaller version of their friend hug her sibling, a moment later R3 turned off his projector and beeped a few more words in his owner's direction again.

She didn't answer immediately. During the playback of the memory, Ochako, Nejire, and Izuku were all smiling at what they saw as a tender moment between siblings.

"That was your brother?" Izuku asked.

"Cayden. Yeah that was him."

The young Jedi fetched another tissue from the box and wiped her eyes and nose with it.

"I remember that day. It was right after he became a Padawan. He and his master were leaving to settle territorial disputes in the Outer Rim. He promised me he would be back before they flew away in their ship. But…I never saw him again."

With every word, Camilla's voice sounded like it was cracking more and more. When she stopped, she took in a long, very congested breath up through her nose and let out a huge exhale of air that devolved into a few coughs. Then she wiped her eyes while her three friends to the side of her looked at her with a lot more concern now.

"Camilla? Are you alright?" Ochako cautiously asked.

The Jedi just waved her off.

"Yeah….fine….totally…totally fine. It's in the past. We can't change it. We just have to move forward. And hopefuuhh…huhh….aaahhh…"

Her eyes slammed shut, her nostrils flared, and fist flew in front of her open mouth.

"HUUHHTCHOO! HUHHHHCHOO! Huuhh….HUUUCHOO!"

A round of harsh coughing came as soon as her sneezing stopped. Nejire, Ochako, and Izuku all wanted to get up and help her out in any way they could. Rub her back, steady her shoulders, something. But they all stood right where they were watching her with swirling looks of sympathy and worry. The latter feeling was leaning a little more towards her mental state rather than her wellbeing however.

When she finally stopped coughing, Camilla collapsed back down to her back and her head flopped unceremoniously down to her pillow.

""Best to…keep my mind here and now…and not dwell on things long gone." The young Jedi said with a hoarse voice.

Her reasoning was sound. They could at least agree on that, but the trio of Earthlings and even R3 could tell Camilla wasn't really OK in her head. What she was saying sounded like good advice but…was that really the advice she needs to give herself right now?

"Deku, I think we should leave and let her rest." Ochako suggested.

Izuku didn't want to. His friend was laying in bed sick right in front of him and all he wanted to do was help her. Just as he was about to protest, the hand of Nejire came to his shoulder forcing him to look at her. Even with a mask on, Izuku's mindset was easy to deduce by eyes alone.

"She'll be fine. I'm gonna be here all day taking care of her." The blue haired girl assured him.

He still didn't like the idea of leaving her like this. But she was being looked after. That at least made him feel a teensy bit better.

"Alright." He relented as he stood up.

He walked back over and put the blanket over Camilla again and gave a soft smile from behind his mask.

"You'll feel better in no time. Alright?"

Camilla rolled her eyes finding that idea to be laughable in her current state of misery but took Izuku's word anyway. She adjusted herself under the covers and that blanket and tried to get a little more comfortable while Ochako got up and approached too.

"Get well soon, Camilla." She wished to her friend.

"Sorry dual wielding got delayed, Ochako." She apologized. "I'll do my best to let you know when my nose stops betraying me."

Ochako nodded once more before joining Izuku and Nejire outside the room. When the door was closed, all three of them removed their masks and took in a breath of actual unfiltered air. Then their gazes morphed back into worrisome ones as they all walked away. Izuku had to know what was going on with his friend and was ready to ask Nejire about it.

"Hado, has Camilla been like this for a while? I don't mean sick. I mean-"

"Yes."

Nejire stopped in her tracks and looked back to Camilla's door with a frown of concern.

"We all could tell it back there. Even she tries to deny it but…Camilla's sad."

Yup. They were all on the same page and they knew it.

"I guess sometimes we all forget just what it was that led her to coming to Earth in the first place." Ochako reasoned.

Neither of them could argue with that. Between Nejire's classes at U.A., Izuku's training with All Might, and Ochako learning to sword fight alongside Camilla, remembering the young Jedi was still recovering from what years of war did to her.

"But she'll be OK, right?" Izuku asked them both. "I mean I know she's learning to fit in on this world and is doing so really well. She's also applying for U.A. with us so she's obviously given thought to the idea of staying here permanently. But I guess not all the time in the world is …"

The two girls watched curiously as Izuku fell into another mumbling trance, lost in his own thoughts. Ochako and Nejire both thought it was sweet that Izuku was wracking his brain this hard trying to understand Camilla a bit more. However, it wasn't something any of them were capable of fixing at the time. Trying to play therapy with her while sick was not a good idea.

"I'm sure she'll be fine."

The three of them turned around to see Ryukyu approaching with a tray in her hands and a bowl of soup centered on the tray.

"As long as she has us, people who care about her and want to help her, she will be alright."

The dragoon hero gestured to the bowl in front of her.

"Right now I think this is the help she needs most right now. Midoriya, Uraraka, I think you should head off for today. Sorry training will have to be delayed a bit."

Since it was Ochako that last part was meant for, she was the one who answered.

"Hey it's not a problem. Camilla's sick. She comes first until she's better. Everyone should get that."

Nejire and Izuku both agreed on that and Ryukyu was glad to hear it. They each bid their goodbyes to each other once more and Izuku left the building with Ochako by his side. As the dragoon hero walked in, she saw Camilla not trying to sleep but with a finger to her chin as if she were thinking hard about something.

'Christmas presents…for the people I care about…'

Back outside, Izuku and Ochako were standing just beyond the front door of the agency letting the crisp morning breeze pass by them again.

"Well nuts. I was really looking forward to watching the two of you practice." Izuku bemoaned.

Ochako then had a thought.

"You can still watch me." She proclaimed with a smile.

"Huh?" Izuku was confused again.

"Well since going to Mandalore Island isn't happening today, I was gonna take my bokken and practice by myself on the beach. If you want you can join me."

Izuku, excited at the prospect to see Ochako show off her swordsmanship, answered immediately.

"Yes! I'd love to go to the beach with you!"

The wording made Ochako realize something. She'd never really been alone with Izuku a lot. Most of the time it was either all three of them together or her and Camilla training during the weekends. There were a couple times in the past they were alone but those were just short walks. This was going to be all new territory; spending a prolonged period of time together alone. Granted it was just going to be Ochako practicing her sword skills on the beach but Izuku was gonna be watching her every move closely. The thought of that made the gravity girl turn a bit red.

"Cool!" She smiled to ward off the odd feelings.

It wasn't a long walk to the beach, and because of the chilly weather, not many people were keen on coming out here in the morning in swimsuits that barely covered their skin. So the section of the beach Ochako and Izuku ended up going to was almost entirely vacant. Perfect. Once they were there, Ochako sat at the bottom of the stairs and took off her shoes and socks. She placed them by the last step and then stepped onto the sand of the beach.

"Don't your feet get cold?" Izuku asked curiously.

Ochako looked down to her bare feet and wiggled her toes a bit in the sand.

"A little, yeah." She admitted. "But once I get moving, I don't even notice it."

Izuku was already impressed as he opened his notebook and already began jotting down more words into it. Ochako then took a few more steps away from her friend and took the handle of the bokken into both palms. Once she was in the Form One ready position, she began to move. With every swing of her fake wooden blade, Ochako was showing off more than enough movements for Izuku to study intently and write down in his notebook.

With every swing of the fake wooden sword, Izuku wrote like made to make sure he was capturing every bit of info he could take in. Ochako's stances, her footwork, the swing directions, grips of her hands, hip movement, everything. Once she got into Form Two, Izuku started having to take pauses in his writing and just watch. Ochako was moving faster than he could write now. As he watched his friend swing that hunk of wood like a pro he couldn't help but feel transfixed on the girl wielding it. Her face was filled with nothing but concentration in her form, and determination to use these teachings to advance herself towards her goal of being a pro hero. While sitting there, gazing upon Ochako, Izuku could feel a strong sense of admiration for the girl.

While swinging, Ochako would notice that Izuku was watching her closely. One would mistake it for intensity if they didn't know the boy. But she did. Intensity wasn't really Izuku's thing. He was just a hard thinker, and sometimes a rambler. But the way his eyes were locked onto her body brought about a different reaction from Ochako then what she would normally have. Boys do sometimes look at her but she didn't know them so her mind automatically thought they were just checking out her body. Puberty was being generous to her in that regard. But Izuku, she knew him. And she knew he wasn't that type of guy. He didn't have a single perverted bone in his body. Even so, when she glanced over and saw him intently looking at her with his notebook in his hands, Ochako couldn't help but feel a blush creep its way across her already pink cheeks. Why was this exercise she's done for months suddenly feeling like a performance? Shaking her head clear of those distractions, though not completely, she performed the last few swings of her kata and let the sword hang loose in her grip.

"Wow. So that was Form One?" Izuku inquired.

Ochako nodded back with a smile.

"Camilla said it was called, Shii-Cho!"

"Oh man I can't wait to see you and her practicing together." The green haired boy excitedly declared.

Though that feeling drained when he once again thought back to their currently ill friend. His smile curved to a frown.

"I hope at least."

Ochako frowned with him now, remembering the last minutes of their visit.

"If what Hado said is true, and Camilla's really been bottling up her feelings since she got here…"

"We need to help her get that bottle open." Izuku finished.

Ochako nodded again, instantly agreeing with her friend.

"But how do we do that? She can be really stubborn when it comes to her emotions."

That was something they agreed on. Only trouble was figuring out when and where. She was sick right now so kicking her while she was down was out. By the time she got better the school week would be going on. Maybe during one of the next weekends? No. Those are Ochako's sword training days. Izuku was certain she needed those. It would have to be a time where they would be together, not training, and surrounded by people she cares about.

Izuku perked his head up with a smile as he looked to his brunette friend.

"Uraraka, you said you're gonna be alone Christmas Eve right? Your parents aren't coming back until Christmas Day?"

Ochako took a few moments to wonder why Izuku was asking her that, and then she smiled catching on.

"No. I'm free."

After Izuku laid out his idea and Ochako agreed to it for the sake of their alien friend, the round girl went back to her practice for a little while longer. When she was done, Deku went on his own to complete his run as per All Might's instructions. Ochako simply walked home all the while checking her email and seeing an unread one from the mailing service she was expecting a package from. Hopefully the Christmas gift she and Izuku went halvsies on for Camilla would arrive in time.

The next few days went by and Camilla's fever left her body. The following weekend, she and Ochako finally began what they had been working for this whole time. Dual wielding, or as it was known to the Jedi; Jar'Kai. The transitive system they worked with was thankfully successful. Ochako learned the poses through the images on the holocron, and Camilla learned from watching Ochako. While the gravity girl used her bokken, Camilla practiced stances and single swings with both lightsabers. Her green one was no problem but swinging the blue blade of her master felt off. She could tell it was gonna take some getting used to. The kyber crystal within was attuned to its previous owner and not Camilla. So it felt heavy in her hand and the swings felt awkward.

Still though, she did the best she could with what she had to work with. Every weekend for the next month it was like this until finally they got a weekend off. It just so happened Saturday and Sunday of this year was Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. So that weekend was going to be a mandatory vacation from training to spend the holidays with those you care about. And Ryukyu was intent on having the young Jedi spend it with her friends. Camilla was already ready for it too. She didn't think her head off about her gifts to Izuku and Ochako for nothing after all. She just hoped they would like it.

Over at Izuku's house, he was looking around the house surveying the decorations on the tree making sure everything looked good. The page on the calendar read December 24th and the clock next to it read 4:55 PM. He was both excited and nervous about today. Excited because this was his first Christmas in a long time that had him spending it with more people other than just his mom. Ochako was already here with Inko in the kitchen and Camilla was on her way with Ryukyu and Mirko. The nervousness was due to the plan he and Ochako planned to put into motion later to help their friend out.

"Alright. I think the tree is done." Izuku announced.

Ochako came back out into the living room to examine the tree with her own eyes. She was dressed in long black leggings from her feet up to her thighs and a dark tan long sleeved top that flowed down past her waist nearly covering up the red skirt underneath it. Izuku himself was wearing some blue jeans and a plain grey shirt.

"Wow it looks great, Deku!" Ochako marveled at the ornaments and lights nearly overflowing the tree.

*KNOCK KNOCK!*

"And there's Camilla." Izuku walked over to the door and opened it.

Sure enough, there was his Jedi friend on the other side with two small boxes in her hand. From behind her a light snowfall could be seen whitening the ground of Musutafu.

"Hey Camilla! Glad you made it! And….and you're wearing your robes and lightsabers."

Camilla was indeed dressed in her full Jedi garb and her belt and weapons latched to her waist.

"I thought it would be fitting for a Jedi to spend her first Christmas in the clothes of her people. Was that wrong?"

She tilted her head genuinely curious now if wearing her robes was a bad choice. Izuku and Ochako both waved her off though putting her mind at ease.

"No not at all. You wear what you wanna wear." Ochako assured her. "Now get in here and close the door. The warm air is getting out."

Camilla did just that and with a wave of her hand, the Force pushed the door closed. With her boots removed, and her cloak hanging by the door, she entered the apartment in full. While the apartment looked the same as usual, she could make out a few new shapes in the house that weren't here before. There was a cone shaped tree in the corner of the living room that seemed to have various different objects hanging off the branches. A big star shaped object was also at the top of it. Under the tree were boxes of different sizes and shapes. That had to be the Christmas tree Izuku and Ochako told her about; one of the big symbols of the holiday. Aside from the tree, a few small figurines adorned the shelves that weren't there and some ribbon hung from the ceiling around the main living room. Had she been granted full use of her eyes she would also be able to see that both the tree and that ribbon were glowing with soft white lights around it.

As she neared the tree, the young Jedi leaned in once she got a faint whiff of its scent and took a deeper breath through her nose to get it in full.

"It smells delightful."

Izuku smiled at that as he stood next to her admiring the tree.

"That's the magic of having a real tree and not one of those fake ones." He stated firmly. "Real trees are worth the extra cost if you ask me."

"Oh as if." Ochako was quick to refute that. "I'll admit this tree you and your mom picked out is awesome, Deku. But they make stuff to mimic the smell now for people who don't want to spend all that money every year for a tree. Just buying one that does the job and keeping it forever is a much better option."

Izuku rolled his eyes knowing Ochako would say something along those lines, being the money saver she is.

"See, Camilla? There are two types of people at Christmas. First are the people like me who believe in the majesty of the holiday by bringing a real tree into our home. And then there are people like Ochako who we pray for."

"Bite me, Deku!"

Camilla just chuckled at the interactions of her two friends while she placed the gifts for them under the tree with the other ones.

"Hi Camilla."

Inko had come out of the kitchen and waved to the blind girl who in turn waved back. While she was smiling, she was taking her apron off.

"Hello, Mrs. Midoriya." Camilla greeted back with a wave of her hand.

Inko waved back then took her apron completely off so she could put a jacket on.

"Kids I'm sorry to do this but I have to make a quick run to the store. I need a few things I thought I was good on but it turns out I wasn't. You'll be fine on your own for a few minutes right?"

The three teenagers nodding, assuring Inko they wouldn't get into any trouble as she put on her coat and shoes.

"Good. I'll hurry back as soon as I can and don't even think about sneaking a taste of dinner before its done cooking!"

She snatched her purse and hurried out the door leaving the three teens alone in the house.

"Where are Mirko and Ryukyu? I thought they were coming with you." Ochako asked Camilla.

"They said they'd be by later. Something about finalizing a few important things. They wouldn't tell me what exactly though."

Ochako and Izuku didn't feel a need to press more. It was probably hero stuff and not their business.

"Well while we're waiting, do you wanna open your gift from us?" Izuku asked.

Camilla just looked confused again.

"I thought that wasn't until Christmas Day."

"Well normally but it doesn't have to be." Ochako corrected. "Besides I'm gonna be with my parents all day tomorrow so I won't get to see your reaction if you do it then."

The Jedi had to relent there. She sat down in front of the tree and her two friends joined her. Then Izuku reached under the tree and pulled out a small box wrapped in red and silver paper tied in a green bow. Camilla took it into her hands and held it for a moment feeling its weight. It was very light with only a tad of weight to it.

"It's from both of you?" She asked again.

Izuku answered first.

"Yeah. See we were originally each going to get you something but the more we thought about it the more we realized that you're still learning about this place. So it's hard to tell what you like because really, you don't know enough about here to like certain aspects of it. Well, save for the food."

Camilla nodded. That was a fact. The food was amazing.

"So Deku and I thought of something else and got you this gift together." Ochako finished. "We just really hope you like it. Go ahead and open it."

Izuku and Ochako watched closely as Camilla's face focused on the two of them and a soft smile came to her face. They both thought they could hear sniffling but the girl shook her head trying to play it off.

Now without any hesitation, Camilla tore off the wrapping paper, opened the box and reached her hand inside. She could feel thin paper surrounding whatever it was she was supposed to find. Then her fingertips felt something solid and she pulled it out. It was small, rectangular, and looked about the same size and width as the phone Izuku kept with him all the time. Once she focused her Force vision a little more, Camilla could make out, that's exactly what it looked like. The obvious difference was instead of it being just a flat glass surface, there were buttons on the bottom half that her fingers traced over.

"Is this…a phone?" She asked the two of them.

"We figured you should have one of your own." Ochako stated happily.

Both she and Izuku smiled as she handled the red colored device in both of her hands and continues to inspect it with her fingertips.

"I researched it online that these phones were perfect for people with blindness. You don't have to see the screen because it has buttons you can press and everything can be accessed by voice commands."

"Uraraka's number and mine are both already programmed in there." Izuku added on. "And there's plenty of room for more."

As Camilla took that in, her thoughts couldn't help but start swimming in the jumbled mess they've become lately. The words "room for more" made her think back to her vision from months ago showing her those twenty people. She hadn't been able to return to it since she met Ochako and she was revealed to be part of it. The Force and her master were both trying to tell her something and she had no idea what. Now she was thinking about Master Morlev which made her sad. Then her brother, her friends, the few other masters who believed in her, her useless eyes were beginning to water again.

Izuku and Ochako were watching intently as they gauged Camilla's reaction to their gift for her and felt around its surface with her hands. Then she began to show signs of tears and Ochako surmised that she was starting to get a little emotional again. Izuku however, began to panic.

"Camilla?! What's wrong?! Do you not like it?! Did we insult you or something?!"

The young Padawan wiped her eyes with her sleeve and waved it off with a shaky smile.

"No no no! Izuku it's not like that at all! I love it. Truly I do. I'm not sad I promise."

Izuku and Ochako only looked at each other not buying a single bit of that last part. They figured this was it. It was only them in the house now. It was the perfect time.

"Are you really?" Ochako challenged.

Camilla grew a little cautious at the tone Ochako was using.

"What do you mean?" She nervously asked back.

Izuku scooted himself forward a little bit and started to talk.

"Camilla…a lot of people noticed that you haven't exactly been open with anyone about what happened to you. You told us what happened yeah but every single time we bring it up you always change the subject. And every time you start to remember on your own, you tear up like you just did."

She wiped her eyes again at that, trying to dry them completely. Had she really been that obvious at times? The Padawan thought she had done a good job at this point to hide her feelings and keep them suppressed.

"It's nothing. I promise you it's nothing to worry about." Camilla quickly insisted.

This time, Izuku and Ochako weren't buying it. They knew there was something inside Camilla wanting to come out and they were determined now to get it out.

"Camilla, it's OK to feel sad. You know that, right?"

Ochako's voice was as soft and gentle as she could make it while she said that to her. To Camilla though, the very idea of it felt so wrong on so many levels. She shook her head not buying it.

"What good will it do for me now, Ochako? Tell me." She challenged. "Tell me right now what feeling sad will accomplish."

"You'll feel better for one." Ochako answered back "It won't happen right away but isn't it a better option than just pretending you're alright when really you're not?"

"Camilla, everyone knows." Izuku added on. "Hado, Ryukyu, Mirko, even All Might can tell something is up with you. And he barely sees you."

"You're our friend. We hate seeing you like this so please! Let your feelings out!"

At Ochako's words Camilla's eyes slammed shut again as she tried so hard to fight against what was being said. She was trying to keep calm as best she could but her façade was starting to crack just like her two friends were apparently wanting.

"So that's what this is all about? You just want me to cry? To just sit here and scream to the heavens about how unfair life is? Just let my emotions overwhelm me? I can't do that! I'm a Jedi! I have to be better than that!"

Both Izuku and Ochako took a moment to bring their voices down so they didn't disturb the upstairs and downstairs neighbors.

"Camilla, please listen." Izuku was practically begging here. "We're not trying to make you sad because we're picking on you. We're your friends. We care about you. That's why we're doing this. We just want to make sure you're really OK. Because that's what friends do. They support you and when you have to cry, they'll be there so you have someone to lean against while you do. They'll catch your tears for you."

Ochako listened to every word Izuku spoke and agreed with every single one of them with no resistance. It was something she had come to admire about him this past year getting to know him. He wore his emotions on the outside a lot more than most guys she had known in her past. They always tried to act tough and macho but Izuku, he wasn't one of them. It made him so real.

Camilla just looked at Izuku for a few moments more before looking at the floor, drumming her fingertips across the surface as she fell into a deep trance of thought. The Jedi had always taught her that keeping her emotions in check was vital both on and off the battlefield. That's exactly what she was trying to do here? Wasn't it? Her negative feelings were getting in the way of hers and by extension Ochako's training, so she pushed them aside. That's what she was supposed to do, wasn't it? That's exactly what Master Morlev would tell her to do.

…..no it wasn't.

The more she thought about it, Camilla thought back to her teachings once more. A memory was unlocked. When she was just a child and didn't have her Padawan braid yet, there was a day she was being picked on by the other Younglings again. The master's nearby came and reprimanded them but it still did little to quell her anger. When Master Morlev, still just a Jedi Knight back then, found her afterwards, he took her outside and let her scream in fury to the open sky of Coruscant. When she was done, Morlev asked the kid Camilla if she felt better and she found that she did. He then went on to say,

"It's alright to feel emotional. But keeping those feelings inside you for too long will do more harm than good for both yourself and those around you. Eventually they could overwhelm you in the worst way possible at the worst timing. Be mindful in how you express them and vent them out as well. Because there are wrong ways to do that too."

It felt like she could hear her Master as if he were right next to him. As she opened her eyes again, she spoke.

"I wish I knew."

She pulled her head up. The Jedi was keeping it in quite good up to this point but now the tears stinging her eyes were getting close to overflowing.

"I wish I knew the day I last saw my brother would be the last time I ever saw him. I…I would have hugged him harder. So tight that he would never let go. It's the same with my masters. Anakin, Ahsoka, and so many more, probably all gone. The Jedi were supposed to be mindful of the future, to know what's coming. Yet….n-none of us saw the demise of our order coming before it was too late."

Her friends weren't sure if she even noticed, but halfway through her speech, the tears started flowing down her cheeks and dripping between her feet.

"I….*SNIFF!* …I miss my home so much. My people, my friends….I know I'm only a Padawan and I shouldn't shoulder this but…why me? Why did the Force choose me to live while so many others weren't? Why…why am I here? I…I don't….understand…."

The weight of it all finally made the young Padawan give into what she had bottled up. The pain, the grief, the confusion, the survivor's guilt, she couldn't hold it anymore. Every lesson she had ever taken about not fearing losing what you have, she couldn't remember them anymore. She just sat there on her knees and screamed to the ceiling in anguish as she finally let loose the tears and cries she had been keeping walled off since the night she crashed on Earth.

The moment she screamed, Izuku and Ochako sprinted over and surrounded her from both sides. Once in proximity, the two crushed Camilla in the absolute tightest hug their arms could manage. One second later, Camilla's left arm goes around Ochako, and the right wraps around Izuku's torso. A weak attempt and pulling them closer later, and she resumed her weeping in earnest. Every sob rocked her body against those of her two dear friends as they clutched her with no intention of letting go. They just sat there on their knees together as it slowly became not just one girl crying, but three teenagers crying together. Both the green haired successor to All Might and the pink cheeked girl held the Jedi in their arms rocking her back and forth to help sooth her while they let their own tears fall with hers.

They weren't sure how long they spent huddled together like that. It quite honestly felt like a lot longer than just the five minutes that passed. But Camilla had finally stopped harshly sobbing and settled down to just sniffles. Izuku and Ochako opened their eyes back up and through their blurred vision they could see that she had finally quieted down a bit.

"Camilla…w-we don't why the Force chose you to live. I'm so sorry we don't. But…we're both so glad you ended up crashing here."

Sniffling and rubbing his eyes, Izuku let a warm smile shine off his face as he nodded in agreement with Ochako's words.

"I never thought I would ever have friends again after all these years and I grew to be OK with that. Then I met you and through you, Uraraka. All Might may have found me first and took me under his wing but…you were my first real friend. Maybe that's not the reason why you came here but, I'm so glad it happened."

"Please come to us the next time you feel like this so we can help you. It hurts your friends too when they know you're upset, Camilla. But we'll be there for you whenever you need to talk and just let things out. We promise you."

Camilla kept softly weeping as she listened to her two friend speak to her through their own tears. She wanted to cry harder again over hearing just how much these two people the Force showed her cared about her and wanted so badly to help her. She couldn't help but feel a huge feeling of relief wash over her and the weight of everything she had been feeling was leagues lighter. She took in a few more sniffles through her nose trying to recollect herself and pulled back a bit allowing her friends to see her face.

"Izuku…Ochako…thank you for just…being you."

Still leaking tears from their own eyes, both Ochako and Izuku smiled at their Jedi friend as she calmed down. Camilla's right palm opened back up and the phone she dropped to the ground jumped back into her grip.

"And thank you for this. I really do like it a lot." Finally she gave off her own smile.

"You're welcome." Both the two Earth born teenagers said to her.

The two of them finally let Camilla go and scooted back a bit as the door opened up and Inko came walking back into her home with a shopping bag full of groceries inside of it.

"I'm back! None of you snuck a taste of the food while it was on the-"

Inko froze right in her tracks when she saw not one, not two, but all three of the kids looking at her with wet cheeks and even wetter eyes. With Izuku, she had grown used to it. Midoriya tears and all that. But seeing Ochako and Camilla crying too got her greatly concerned.

"Are…are the three of you alright?" She frantically asked. "Is one of you hurt? Did something bad happen? Did a villain attack or something? Say something!"

"No, Mrs. Midoriya."

The ruby haired girl was the first to answer as she wiped her eyes dry with the sleeve of her tunic.

"I was just uh…expelling some pent up negativity. Izuku and Ochako they uh….they just never let me go."

"And we never plan to." Izuku held out his fist. "Defects stick together."

For the second time that night, a genuine smile came onto Camilla's face as she affectionately pounded her fist to Izuku's and kept their little phrase in her heart.

"Defects stick together." She repeated.

A third fist with padded fingertips came in from the side and pounded both of them at the same time.

"Defects stick together!" Ochako proudly proclaimed.

"What?" Deku looked to the gravity girl with a surprised look. "But Uraraka, you're already perfect. You're not defective!"

In that moment, the three females surrounding Izuku had three different reactions all at the same time to those words. Camilla merely rose up an eyebrow in interest. Inko from behind her son, smiled so wide all her teeth were showing and hearts were in her eyes. Ochako, her face grew so red in such little time she looked like she had been painted the same color of Camilla's hair.

"Deku…did….did you just call me, 'perfect'?"

Ten seconds passed while Deku looked like his brain had just disconnected from the wifi. Ten seconds and that connection came back carrying a sack of bricks. Izuku's own face now shot up in red as he waved both of his hands back and forth in a blur.

"W-well I uh! I uh didn't mean it like-I mean! Yeah you have a lot of amazing qualities but I just-"

It didn't take long into his little freak out for anyone to know that not even Izuku knew what the hell he was trying to day. Scooting forward, Ochako rested a hand on his shoulder and that got him to calm down and catch his breath.

"Deku, it's OK. I know what you meant." She softly assured him before trying to change the subject. "Besides, I'm not perfect. If I was then I wouldn't be throwing up every time I overuse my quirk."

With their faces dry and their eyes seemingly empty on tears, the three kids in the house finally started laughing together when Ochako started joking about her own power. It was the perfect way the brunette thought would get Izuku to change subjects. Talking about quirks. It worked. Though Camilla had to act fast before he started rambling again.

"Do you two wanna open my gifts to you now?"

Both the verdanette and the gravity girl took on a momentary look of surprise when they remembered their gift to Camilla wasn't the only one under that tree now. They had gifts from her too as well as their gifts to each other.

"You two go ahead and do that. I'll be in the kitchen finishing up. It won't be long."

Inko once more left the kids in the living room and vanished into the kitchen again. While she did, Izuku and Ochako took the gifts Camilla got them into her hand and examined the boxes. They were the same size and the same weight. So it made sense to assume that Camilla had gotten them both the same thing. When they opened the boxes, they both found they were correct.

Inside both Izuku's and Ochako's gift box was a pendant attached to a beaded chain. The pendants themselves were rectangular in shape and looked almost identical to one another. They measured about five centimeters long and two wide. The only difference between them was the embossing on them. Vertically arranged on these rectangle pendants were the Japanese characters that made up Izuku's full name on one, and Ochako's on the other. Other than that, they were the same thing right down to the deep blue coloring on them which both of them had sworn they'd seen before.

Upon seeing the necklace, Ochako's face lit up in delight while Izuku nearly mirrored her. They both took out their necklaces and inspected them closely seeing their names indented into the metal of the charm.

"Oh this is so cool!" Ochako ran her fingers over the embossed metal.

"Did Ryukyu or someone help you get these from online or something?" Izuku wondered.

"Actually no." Camilla commented. "Ryukyu and Mirko did help me, but only with finding someone with a quirk that could get your names into those pieces of metal."

That only made Ochako and Izuku confused as they inspected the necklaces more.

"Wait so, where did these come from if you didn't buy them?" Izuku wondered.

"From the left wing of my fighter."

Once that sentence left Camilla's mouth, Izuku and Ochako looked at their gifts with a flash of realization. The blue color. They remembered where they had seen it. It was on Camilla's ship and her hyperdrive ring. They were holding small fragments of her ship.

"There were some loose pieces I could take and used the Force and my lightsabers to cut and shape them. Then all I had to do was find someone who could put your names into them. Ryukyu and Mirko helped with that part. Now the two of you can walk around with a little piece of metal that has actually flown through space. I hope you both like them."

Izuku and Ochako were wide eyed as they realized what Camilla had just given them. These were pieces of a small spaceship that had flown probably light years across a whole other galaxy and landed on so many different planets. Ochako looked like she was going to explode. She always enjoyed space themed gifts but actually holding something that had been to space and even beyond that, other planets, Camilla could tell by her overflowing shock that Ochako was beyond elated. Almost immediately she put it on and let it hang from her neck.

Izuku put his on too and kept his eyes locked on the small bit of shaped shrapnel as it hung off his neck and between his pectorals. The tip of his finger traced up and down the surface of the embossed characters that made up his name with a fond smile. Honestly he would have loved whatever Camilla had gotten him no matter what it was being her first Christmas and all. But this little pendant showed him that she truly did put a lot of thought into what she wanted to do to show how much she cared about them. It was a huge gesture that made his heart feel like it was inflating like a balloon, ready to burst from his chest.

"Camilla…we love them." Ochako declared, knowing she spoke for herself and Izuku.

The green haired boy nodded his head in complete agreement as he looked to the Jedi.

"Thank you so much." Izuku almost whispered.

Camilla smiled again upon realizing just how well her gifts were going over. She was afraid for a short moment that they wouldn't like them but those worries were put to rest when she felt the spike in their emotions after she told them that metal came from her ship.

"Heeeeeeey what's up?!"

Recognizing that voice, the three teenagers on the floor turned to the doorway and saw Mirko and Ryukyu walking into the Midoriya household. Both of them were out of their hero outfits and dressed in casual winter clothing. Mirko had on a pair of black jeans that only reached down to her shins and a belt buckle in the same design of the crescent on her hero costume. She also had on a white turtleneck top and a black jacket with black boots. When she took both of those off, some plain white socks were shown underneath.

Once she removed her own coat and shoes, Izuku and Ochako saw the dragoon hero wearing a festive holiday themed sweater in the same colors that resembled her own costume; red and yellow with some green trim on the edge of the sleeves. Like Mirko she had some black pants on herself too but they reached all the way down to her ankles like normal. She also had on some black socks.

"Glad you two made it." Camilla greeted her caretakers. "Did you get your business taken care of?"

Both the pro heroes nodded. Although for some reason, the young Padawan felt a tinge of annoyance come off Mirko when she brought it up.

"We did indeed, Camilla. After we're done here we'll tell you what it was about." Ryukyu assured the blind girl.

Camilla shrugged not sure what the number nine pro fully meant but was interested now to know.

"Is that Ryukyu and Mirko I hear?" Inko called from the kitchen.

"Yeah they're both here, Mom!" Izuku shouted back.

The Midoriya matriarch walked out and gave a friendly wave to the two pros with a spatula in her hand.

"Rumi, Ryuko, I'm glad you two both made it!"

In the near seven months since Camilla became a regular visitor to her home, Inko had gotten the unexpected pleasure of getting regular visits from both Mirko and Ryukyu whenever they would come by to pick her up and take her back to the agency building. More than once, she insisted they come in and have a spot of food themselves. The rabbit hero, much to her own surprise, found herself doing that more often than not nowadays. Try as she might the muscular hero just couldn't say no to Inko's cooking. Once that sensitive nose of her caught the first whiff of her kitchen magic from outside the door, she was drawn in like a cartoon hobo floating to a pie on a window sill. Suddenly she was asking herself just how she got to be sitting down at the dinner table. From then on, it became a regular thing. Ryukyu was along the same lines not being one to say no too many times to an invitation for a home cooked meal. Inko and Izuku were very welcoming after all. The dragoon hero just wished the boy would be a bit more honest with his mother about just where he's getting his training from and the power he was about to receive. He had been keeping the full truth from her for so long it was only a matter of time before Inko discovered it.

When Inko greeted them, both heroes gave the plump woman a friendly wave.

"Thank you for welcoming us into your home for the holiday, Inko." Ryukyu warmly greeted her.

"Yeah, totally. To think I nearly passed up your cooking to go kick some crackhead's face in. That would've been the mistake of the year." Mirko joked.

Inko smiled and gestured to the table.

"Well you're right on time! Everyone come sit down. Dinner is ready!"

The dinner table was set for six. The most the table has ever been set for anyone in a very long time. On one side, Izuku sat in the middle with Camilla on his left and Ochako on his right. On the other, Ryukyu sat across from the young Jedi while Mirko took the center seat looking right into Izuku's eyes.

"So is All Might not gonna be here?" She whispered.

Izuku looked back to the kitchen briefly to make sure his mother didn't hear him.

"No. He said something about visiting an old friend in Yamanashi. Training picks up again after the new year for me." He whispered back.

The rabbit hero shrugged but soon found herself nearly drooling as Inko came back out and placed plate after plate of food in front of everyone sitting at the table. Every nose was filled with delight as they took in the smells the spread created. When Inko herself was finally seated, only then did they all dig in. Mama Midoriya had outdone herself this Christmas. There were plenty of sides including rice and steamed veggies to accompany the pièce de résistance; the massive Christmas turkey. For those who could see it in full detail, it almost seemed too beautiful to even think about tearing apart with their teeth.

Almost.

By the time everyone was done eating, that turkey had been reduced to nearly its bare bones and nothing more. With the meal over, Inko began to collect the empty plates while the three kids at the table remained unmoving due to their full bellies.

"I really gotta learn not to stuff so much food down my throat whenever I'm here." Camilla bemoaned to herself.

"It's like an addiction." Ochako agreed. "Mrs. Midoriya's cooking is a drug and we can't quit it."

"They haven't invented a twelve step program for it yet." Izuku groaned out. "But luckily our training helps offset the weight gain."

The three grown women couldn't help but let out bemused chuckles at the kids processing their meals in their bellies.

"Well now that dinner is over, should we do it?" Mirko asked Ryukyu.

The blond headed hero nodded with a smirk.

"I think we should." She agreed.

"Do what?" Ochako asked confused.

Mirko stood up out of her chair.

"Go get your coats and shoes on. We're gonna take a short walk."

"Walk?" Camilla leaned her head up just enough so her eyes could be seen by the rabbit hero. "You mean stand up?"

"Yeah I don't think I can do that right now." Izuku felt so much heavier thanks to all that food.

"Pretty sure that second helping of turkey has me glued to my chair." Ochako moaned out.

That did very little to stop Mirko. If anything, it only made her smirk grow into something more….ferocious

"Oh. Well in that case maybe I should just give all three of you a good kick to your bellies. Ya think that will help you process your dinner faster?"

Seemingly all at once, all three of the kids were out of their chairs knowing full well Mirko was not kidding. They had enjoyed their meals going down and they did not want to taste them coming up as well as have a foot print shaped bruise on their stomachs. Immediately they raced to the front door to put their shoes and jackets on leaving Mirko behind to face the glares of Inko and Ryukyu together. She cared not and just gave a loud laugh.

"Ha! I should write a book on parenting." She mused to herself before she headed to the door.

Inko just shook her head as she watched her walk away then gazed at Ryukyu.

"You'll never find that book on any mother's shelf." She joked.

Ryukyu giggled agreeing with Inko before looking back to the rabbit hero putting her shoes back on her feet.

"Maybe she's not fit as a mother. But Rumi has her good sides. As gruff as she is, she takes her work as a pro hero more seriously than most others I've seen come onto the scene this past year. I'd be willing to bet this time next year, she'll be on the top ten list of Japan's pro heroes."

She definitely sounded confident in that proclamation of hers. Inko didn't fully buy it though. A good hero Mirko may be, she didn't exactly see the dark skinned rabbit as good role model material. Heroes were supposed to be people kids could watch on TV and look up to. Up close and personal, Mirko wasn't really known for being the most kid friendly of the bunch. All Might held that title in her mind.

"I'll put two thousand yen down that she's below the top ten when the rankings come around again." Inko decided to accept the current number nine's challenge.

Though she really didn't mean she wanted to bet on it, Ryukyu couldn't help but smirk in that same confidence as she held out her hand.

"You're on."

Inko shook her hand and the bet was on. All they could do now was wait.

Once the elder Midoriya cleared the table and put the dishes in the sink, she joined the others at the door with her own coat and shoes on as they all headed out. Ryukyu and Mirko took the lead as they were the only ones who knew where they were going. Outside in the cold night, the snow fell like powdered sugar from the sky lightly dusting the people walking below it. Camilla was finding herself smiling again as she felt a few twinges of cold on her forehead and neck. The last time she had felt the snow on her skin, she was just a Youngling on the planet Ilum looking for the crystal that is now currently in the hilt of her lightsaber. She had never just enjoyed it before. Walks like these were nice, but Izuku and Ochako promised before to show her the fun of a snow day before winter break was done.

A few more minutes passed in their walk and Ochako asked where they were going. Mirko shushed her not wanting to give away the surprise because two minutes later, they turned the corner and they came across another apartment complex.

"We're here." Ryukyu announced.

Looking to the sign at the front gate, Izuku, Ochako, and Inko read the name of the place; Scarifi Luxury Apartments. Now that they read they name they recognized the place. This was an up and coming apartment complex that had been under construction for a long time. Now it looked like it was finally done with celebratory flags and decorations on the front gates and a few of the windows had lights on inside, meaning new tenants already moved into a few of the units.

"Okay. But why are we here?" Inko wondered.

Mirko and Ryukyu didn't answer her. The former just took out a key from her coat pocket and opened up the front gate allowing them in. That got most of them confused. Was this Mirko's home? Was their Christmas party being moved? All the while Camilla was keeping an eye on the emotions Mirko and Ryukyu were feeling at the time but she couldn't tell much of anything. It was like they were trying to keep themselves feeling nothing on purpose so the Jedi couldn't read them.

Once they were all inside the gate, they went up the elevator to the third floor of the building. The view from the walk to the door had a good sighting of the downtown skyline. When they were in front of the door that read 5-C, Mirko brought out another key and opened the door.

"Come in." She said to everyone.

Once everyone was inside, Mirko flipped on the lights to reveal….absolutely nothing.

Save for the six people currently inside it, this apartment was empty. No furniture, no boxes, no nothing. The floor plan was definitely modern. Hardwood floors, real tile in the kitchen and not linoleum, granite countertops, it even came with a microwave hanging above the stove and a fridge currently empty and unplugged. There was a thermostat on the wall near the front door meaning this apartment had central AC instead of a wall unit, something Ochako was immediately jealous of. The living space was wide open and seemed big enough fit a decent sized party of people, bigger than the one that was here now. Then there was a small hallway down the right side that led to other rooms and restrooms.

"Um…this is a nice place, Mirko." Inko commented. "But again I ask why we are here? Whose place is this?"

The rabbit hero smirked as she stepped forward and held out her arms.

"It's mine of course! Just signed the lease today! I'm all good to move in whenever I want!"

Camilla put the pieces together.

"So is this the important thing you needed to finalize? Just signing papers for your new home?"

"We haven't shown you the best part yet."

Ryukyu was the one who said that as she placed a hand to Camilla's shoulder. Now the young Jedi could finally feel a hint of excitement coming off the dragoon hero as she led her further into the apartment and down the hallway. The others followed and stopped when they got to the first door on the left.

"Go ahead. Open it." Ryukyu urged.

As confused as she was right now, Camilla still turned the doorknob with the Force and pushed it open revealing…another empty room.

Stepping inside, she looked around with her Force vision to see if there was anything hidden but there wasn't. It was just an empty room with a window looking to the outside and a sliding door that led to a closet.

"So what do you think?" The dragoon hero asked.

Once again, the blind teenager was beyond confused. She took some solace in sensing she wasn't the only one. Izuku, Ochako, and Inko were all peeking into the room as well to see if there was anything special about it that she couldn't see but found nothing. The walls were all bare save for the switch to turn on the overhead light.

"Ummm…it's….nice?" Camilla finally responded. "Is there anything special about this room?"

Ryukyu just kept that smirk on her face.

"I guess that all depends on you now since it's yours."

"Since it's... … … … … what?"

Finally the dots connected. She, along with her friends and Inko looked to Ryukyu and Mirko with looks of surprise on their faces. Was this really what Ryukyu was insinuating it was? This was Camilla's new bedroom? Again they looked back and forth between the dragon and the rabbit. While the former looked happy about the whole arrangement, Mirko just looked…resistant.

"Mirko, you want me to live with you?"

"Fuck no!"

Mirko absolutely did not care how many looks were thrown her way by the other people there.

"Trust me this is the last thing I want. Originally this bedroom was going to be my home gym. But then I had to do something stupid and tell my friend that I found a new kickass apartment. Then she comes up with the idea for me to take you with me. I say no, then the detective comes in, and….here we are."

Ryukyu rolled her eyes and stepped forward to fully explain.

"We spoke to Tsukauchi about this. You need a home address to complete your basic information registration. My building sufficed as a temporary fix but for U.A.'s records, it's better to have something like this. That way if anyone looks up where you live, fewer questions will be asked."

Everyone could agree with that logic. Plus there was another factor. The temporary dorm rooms Ryukyu had set up for her interns and work study students were quite small compared to this apartment. It would be good for Camilla to actually have a home to come back to every day instead of just a small room in a big building. Here, that could happen.

"You….you're giving me a home." Camilla finally realized what it was she was standing in. Not just a room, but her new home.

"Are you seriously about to start crying? That's the green bean's job, not-OH COME ON!"

Mirko took one look at Izuku and saw he was already overflowing with tears at the beautiful gift his friend was being given. Even his mother was starting to leak. Ochako was holding it together but just barely, same with Camilla herself. She had cried enough tonight, but she did let one stray tear fall down her cheek before she wiped it dry.

"Mirko…I promise to be as little an inconvenience to you as I can." Then she turned to the dragoon hero with a smile growing on her face. "Thank you both so much for everything you've done for me."

"You're most welcome, Camilla." Ryukyu nodded with a warm smile of her own.

"Yeah yeah, you're welcome." Mirko waved it off trying to keep to her gruff exterior. "But let me get something clear. If that tin can of yours starts leaving oil stains around the floor of this place, I'm tossing him in the recycling bin."

While Izuku and Ochako chuckled at the mental image of R3's legs sticking out of a dumpster, Inko was just wondering what Mirko meant when she said "tin can". Probably some hero lingo she didn't understand.

From there on, Mirko gave a brief tour showing the rest of the apartment before they headed back to the Midoriya household for the rest of the Christmas get together. The only gifts left to open where the ones Izuku and Ochako got each other. It turns out the two of them had similar ideas because inside their gift boxes were holiday sweaters of their size themed to their favorite heroes. Izuku's was based on All Might's silver age costume, and Ochako's was Thirteen themed. Immediately they threw them on and wore them for the rest of the party, no matter how hot they got in them. An hour later it was time to leave. Hugs were shared between the three teenagers and final wishes of Merry Christmas before the Midoriya's were left alone in their house.

A few days later, after Ochako's birthday, she and Izuku both helped Camilla pack up what little stuff she had and moved it over to her new home in Mirko's apartment. It was honestly a little sad for Camilla to leave. She had grown used to this place and enjoyed seeing Ryukyu every day. Now those instances would be farther between. The dragoon hero was quick to assure her they would still see each other for training. And if Camilla ever needed her at any other time, her number was in the Jedi's new cell phone. All she had to do was call. An affectionate hug later, and Camilla used the Force to grab the last of her bags before she and R3 headed out of the dragoon hero's building to move fully into her new home.

Ryukyu was willing to help pay for furnishing Camilla's bedroom at the apartment, something Mirko welcomed with no resistance. She didn't exactly know what would be suitable for the girl. Ochako and Nejire helped pick a few things out to help decorate the room such as lamps and things to go on the desk she had in the corner now. By the time they were finished, the Jedi's new bedroom was filled with everything a teenage girl like her needs in her room, along with an astro droid.

From there on, training picked right back up after the new year began. All Might returned back and it was like no time had passed at all for Izuku. He was right back to cleaning the beach and sticking to everything else the Aim to Pass plan had in store for him. Over on Mandalore Island, Camilla's Force abilities were honed and sharpened far more than they had ever been. Then on the weekends, Ochako joined her for Jar'Kai training. All three kids were pushing themselves further now, going plus ultra before they even got to the school that carried that motto.

Finally, it was the day of the exam.

A day that so many hero hopefuls looked forward to was just beginning. In a matter of hours, U.A. was going to be receiving a new batch of applicants for a seat in the most prominent hero class in the country. It was normal for most kids to not sleep well out of nervousness or excitement the night before. But the thing that had Camilla awake in her bed now was not out of nervousness. It was because her phone was vibrating so loud against her night stand it rang into her ear like a car driving by. She was sure her alarm clock was set to go off. Did she sleep through it? She grabbed the phone and felt around for the answer button before finding it and pressing it. She didn't even bother to pull the phone all the way to her ear she was so not awake.

"…hello?..." She barely mumbled out.

"Camilla? It's me. Are you awake?"

That was Izuku's voice. Why was she hearing Izuku's voice right now?

"Izuku? Wha…what time is it?"

"It's a little past six."

That explained it. Her alarm was set for 7:30. Now Camilla's head perked up from a pillow, a tad annoyed.

"I thought the test wasn't until-"

"I know. I'm sorry. I know it's early but I need you to come out to Dagobah Beach."

Now she was more than a tad annoyed.

"What? Now?"

"Yes now. Please I need you to be here."

"Izukuuuu…"

"Come on! I already called Uraraka and she's on her way!"

"Really? Did she also-"

"Yes she's annoyed I woke her up too. Now come on and get up! Gotta go!"

Camilla wasn't able to get another word in before Izuku hung up on her.

"Wooowee! Bleep!"

"Smacking him because he annoys me isn't the Jedi way, R3." She mumbled as she sat up and swept her hair out of her face. "But it is an Earth thing. So maybe I will."

A few minutes later, Camilla was dressed in a pair of black pants, brown ankle boots, a white long sleeved shirt and a red hoodie with floral patterns on the front. It was still chilly out this time of year and she didn't want another cold so she wrapped a white colored scarf around her neck to go with it. Only then did she drag her feet to get out the door of the apartment, lock it behind her, and head to the beach. Mirko probably would have kicked her out the door if she had woken up too.

She didn't know how long it took her to get to the beach. She didn't know if the sun was out yet. She didn't even know Ochako was next to her for the bottom half of her walk there. The both of them were so tired and so not awake they could barely register the ground at their feet. When they finally got to the beach, the sound of a truck's door opening and closing got them to focus a bit more. There in his weakened state, stood All Might by his small pickup truck. He was expecting to only see his protégé here this morning so the sight of the two girls was a surprise. Not an unwelcome one though.

"Young Uraraka. Young Sharro. Good morning. What brings you by and…do you two even know where you are?"

The girls mumbled things out that the number one hero couldn't even register as words. Looking up a bit more, Ochako opened her eyes and tried to actually speak.

"Deku woke both of us up with a phone call telling us to come here." The brunette hoarsely said.

"R3 told me to smack him. Where is he so I can do that?"

All Might chuckled at the barely awake girls and their words. Before he could answer Camilla, a scream pierced the air.

All Might whirled around recognizing that screaming voice as his successor's. Ochako and Camilla knew it too. Now a lot more awake and fearing their friend was hurt, they dashed to the entrance of the beach to look for him. When they found him, they froze.

Rather than hurt like they feared, Izuku was standing on a pile of trash at the top of the stairs with no shirt on and sweat drenching his whole body. The last pile of trash. Looking down to the beach, Ochako, All Might, or Camilla couldn't find any sign of trash on Dagobah Beach. Ochako's and Camilla's jaws dropped as they looked down at the clean sands while Izuku let loose another triumphant cry. All Might was absolutely floored too as he looked down to the former dumping grounds turned pristine beach.

"Hey hey hey, holy crap, kid! You even cleaned up outside the area I told you to! Seriously! There's not one speck of trash left on this beach! Only a few minutes to spare, but you exceeded my expectations!"

The number one pro could feel pride swelling up within him as he stared down at the work of his chosen successor.

"Holy… …stinking… …SUPER CRAP!"

Looking back up to the boy responsible for this amazing feat, all three spectators saw him wobble from atop that trash heap before falling off towards the sand below. Before Camilla could reach out with the Force to grab him, All Might beat her to it and caught Izuku in his arms. She and Ochako then ran down the stairs to the beach to join All Might as he cradled the exhausted Izuku.

"Excellent work!" The buffed up pro said to the boy.

Even though tired beyond belief, Izuku still found the strength to smile a bit himself.

"I finished everything…All Might. I did it. Do you think I'm ready now?"

"Is that even a question, Deku?!"

Tiredly, the green haired boy turned to see his two friends had gotten there just in time. Both of them were smiling wide as they looked back and forth between him and the beach.

"Look at this place! I thought I'd never see this place so clean but…look at it! You did this, Deku!"

"Ochako is right." Camilla agreed. "I think it's safe to say you're more than ready now."

All Might was in complete agreement as he set Izuku down on his feet.

"Your friends speak the truth, young Midoriya. I'm more than impressed with you. You've gone so far beyond what I thought you could do!"

The number one hero reached into his pocket to pull out his phone and show the screen to the sweaty Izuku. Ochako and Camilla got closer so the former could see what was being shown.

"Look at this."

Izuku did as told and opened his eyes to see…a photo of himself bawling on the sands of this very beach.

"It's you crying, ten months ago!" All Might announced before gesturing to the present Izuku. "Look how far you've come! Such improvement!"

Ochako first looked at the phone. She of course could see Izuku crying in the sand but upon closer inspection, she noticed just how scrawny his arms looked to be. When her eyes turned away to view Izuku now, she saw not that scrawny boy she met months ago. She saw the fully sculpted body of a young man that looked like it was molded from bronze. Izuku now had fully toned muscles from his legs up to his chest and one hell of a six pack to go with it. Try as she might, and she wasn't trying very hard, Ochako couldn't tear her eyes away from checking out Izuku's body.

"Holy…wow. Deku you look…um…yup! You're ready! That's how you look! Just oh so ready!"

The brunette was more than glad that right now Izuku was not in the state to realize just how much she was blushing.

"Young Uraraka!"

The girl snapped to attention and looked at All Might wondering what he had to say to her. The blush on her face remained where it was.

"I've been keeping up with your progress too via Ryukyu and Mirko! You've not only trained yourself to be stronger with your quirk but also taking on swordsmanship to expand your set of abilities was a wise choice on top of a helpful one for young Sharro! I can definitely say without a shadow of a doubt that you will do well today!"

With her face finally back to its original color, Ochako clenched her fists and looked down at herself. These past months were indeed hell on her. There was a lot of training, and quite a bit of puking in order to get the limit on her quirk to rise. But all in all, the emptying of her stomach had become worth it. Not to mention she was confident her skills in handling a sword would come in handy sooner or later. Maybe she would even get to show them off somehow during the exam. She hoped she would.

"Thank you, All Might."

The number one pro nodded before looking to the Jedi.

"And you, young Sharro."

Camilla's head perked up.

"For one to go through something like you did and still choose to keep fighting, it takes a lot of courage to do so. You've proven since the day you crashed here that you already have the heart of a hero within you. I speak no lie when I say to you, if your master saw you now, he would be so proud."

The very thought of Master Morlev seeing just how hard she had worked for this day did bring a smile to the Padawan's face. All she had to do now was put the training she had gone through to good use today and prove she belonged in that school. While Izuku and Ochako had grown in terms of muscle, the only physical change that could be seen for her right now was the length of her hair. When she crashed on Earth, her ruby hair was only above her shoulders. Now it was flowing all the way down her back, and her Padawan braid was even lower than that.

"As for you young Midoriya, it's going to be a while before you can inherit my full power set! But!"

All Might raised his hands up to the scrap heap Izuku was responsible for cleaning off the beach.

"It's starting to look like you can do it!"

Camilla and Ochako nodded in complete agreement. If Izuku, a quirkless boy could clean a beach as dirty as this one was by himself, then handling the power within All Might was going to be a breeze. They were sure of it.

Izuku though, even in his exhausted state, still had his doubts.

"All Might…do I really deserve this?" He asked both the pro and himself. "You put so much time and effort into helping me. How…how did I end up so lucky?"

All Might just bellowed out a laugh while Ochako and Camilla looked at Izuku as if he had grown tentacles from the top of his head.

"Izuku, do you remember what I always said about luck?" Camilla asked.

Slowly, Izuku turned her head over to the blind girl and replied.

"You believe there's no such thing." He answered.

Camilla nodded.

"That's right." She replied back. "It wasn't luck that brought you and All Might together. It was the will of the Force. Of that I am sure. This was no accident. You earned this."

Ochako clenched both of her fists and smiled as she silently agreed with Camilla's words. Izuku really was selling himself short a bit. Even after all this time training he still couldn't push fully past the barriers that were set up by himself and the bullies who ridiculed him for being quirkless nearly his entire life.

"Young Sharro is right."

All Might reached a hand up to his head and plucked a single long strand of hair from the very top of it. In his fingers the hair swayed from the ocean breeze as he held it out in front of his body.

"There's a difference between lucky and deserving. Lucky is just an accident that worked out in your favor and the other is a reward. Speaking of, I believe it's finally time for yours, Izuku Midoriya."

This was it. This was the moment Izuku had spent the last ten months working for. Realizing that as well, Camilla and Ochako took a few steps away to let their green haired friend have his moment.

"What you have earned today, you earned it through your own efforts. Your friends over there have supported you along most of the way but what I give to you now, young man, was all because of you and you alone. Take that to heart and never let yourself forget it."

Izuku took a moment to let that sink in. He earned this. Was that really true? Someone quirkless and weak like him earned the amazing power All Might has? Looking down both literally and mentally at himself he started to feel those doubts creep back up again. When he did gaze down, he saw his body and how much it had changed. His muscles were now on par with most who aim to take the entrance exam. With most of his cognitive functions returning, he finally truly noticed it. Then he tore his gaze from himself and looked to Ochako and Camilla who were both smiling wide. His two friends who believed in him, supported him, and told him every day that he could do what everyone else said he couldn't. Finally he looked back up to All Might. That trademark smile of his never felt more genuine than it did right here in this moment. Those self doubts vanished as he realized that the three people surrounding him were right.

He did earn this. He was worthy. And he was going to be a hero.

"Yes sir!" He shouted to All Might.

Finally it was time. One For All was about to be transferred from All Might to Izuku and both the girls to the side were interested in how it was going to happen. So many ideas were swirling around in both their heads they couldn't cement one down fully. All they All Might do was hold out his hand that held that strand of his hair in it.

"Eat this."

"…..huh?"

Izuku, Ochako, and Camilla were all hoping they misheard that.

"Ochako…I may not be seeing this clearly but it sounded like All Might just asked Izuku to-"

"Eat one of his hairs. You saw that right."

Suddenly, the Jedi felt a strong sense of pity for the young man in front of her.

"….ew."

"Yeah that's the best way to put it." Ochako commented.

All Might sheepishly rubbed the back of his head. Maybe he should have given them all a heads up about how the transfer of power is performed to avoid this.

"Right. I never told you how this works. In order for young Midoriya to inherit One For All he has to ingest some of my DNA!"

While it made sense, it didn't take away the gross factor one bit.

"This isn't exactly how I imagined it!" Izuku cried out.

"Come on! If you don't do it soon then you'll probably miss the exam! Eat! EAT! EEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAT!"

Izuku snatched the hair out of his hand and shoved it into his mouth. Ochako upon seeing that, turned away and threw a hand over her own feeling nauseous just watching that. The only ones who kept watching were All Might, to make sure it went down fine or if the boy needed some water, and Camilla, who was keeping a close watch on the light that was Izuku's Force connection. After what seemed like an eternity to Izuku, he opened his mouth showing that the long hair was now swallowed.

"Well done. One For All now belongs to you, Izuku Midoriya."

Ochako turned around happy that it was over. Camilla, she couldn't see anything different about Izuku just yet. The light remained the same. The two of them were about to head over to congratulate their friend on his success but All Might held up a hand to stop them.

"But there's no time to celebrate! One For All needs time to properly manifest inside his body. That will take a few hours. You all should head home for now and get ready. Fuel up and do your best! Today you all show U.A. what you can do!"

All Might was doing a good job of getting them pumped up. And he was right too. They would have time to celebrate with Izuku about his new quirk later. For now, breakfast was a good idea. All at once, the three teenagers headed up the stairs together.

"And if I may,"

The three stopped at the top of the stairs to look down to All Might who remained on the sands of the beach.

"I'll borrow young Sharro's phrase. May the Force be with you all."

All three of them smiled, but the Jedi had the biggest one of them all as she heard the pro use that saying. It made them all feel even more confident. When Izuku had his shoes and shirt back on, the three went their separate ways vowing to meet up again at U.A. later today.

All Might was right. It was time to show what they could do.

HOOOO-LY SHITBALLS! A 17k word chapter! And the entrance exam is next! Again I'd like to apologize for the time it took to get this one out. As you can see the length of it was a factor not to mention other IRL problems I'm trying to work through. Hopefully those won't be an issue for too much longer but you know how unpredictable life is. For now, I hope you enjoyed this chapter. The next one, the entrance exam begins.

See ya next time!
