Chapter 143 The Cyborg

In The Land of Tainted Souls, Him sat in his office trying to figure what kind of monument he should force slaves to build for him once he took over the Nightosphere. It was then that a nervous looking demon walked in carrying a sliver bucket.
"What is it?" Asked Him not really looking at the demon.
"Uh...sir a couple of the guys found this laying around and...um I think I should let it tell you what happened." Said the demon.
The Devil Essence floated out of the bucket and flew around Him, whispering what happened to it. A frown appeared on Him's face as he turned to face the demon.
"We've...also been unable locate your daughter or Jeff sir." Said the demon as sweat dripped down his forehead.
"That miserable ungrateful brat! She has the nerve to reject the power I gave her and flee from my realm! That worthless spider, his probably the one responsible for removing the power and getting the kid out of here!" Snarled Him as he stood up with his eyes glowed bright green and the office began to shake violently.
After a few seconds Him calmed down and looked at the demon.
"Gather some others and begin searching the multiverse for my daughter and Jeff. I may no be able to leave this realm, but the rest of you can. Now get to it!"
The demon nodded and quickly left the office. Him sat in his chair with the Devil Essence hovering next to him. The evil ruler then began to think. Mimi was to much like her mother and no matter, how much he corrupted her there was always that one stubborn bit of goodness in that child that made her disobedient to her father. Perhaps it was time to look for a child to adopt to become his evil heir. The Lich had a bunch of new minions at his command, perhaps one of them could be the heir Him desired. Him opened up a portal to contact the Lich to give him a list of the minions. Surly one of them was evil enough to be Him's heir.
In the far reaches of space in another dimension, the Zalost was flying through space. Samantha was walking down a hallway, when she got a call from Dr. AGE to attend a meeting in the main lab. The cyborg headed to the lab, where she found Dr. AGE, Monokuma, Father, Magician, and four other beings that made up Dr. AGE's elite forces.
The first was an android with long pink hair, wearing a black bodysuit. The android's name was Kit and instead of hands he had two large Swiss Army knives that held a variety of weapons and tools.
Next to Kit were two mutants that were rarely seen apart. They were called Zeal and Kuarl. Zeal was a tiny pink gargoyle like creature, that was only about a foot tall. Kuarl was a hulking headless suit of medieval body armor that stood ten feet tall and carried a axe.

The last being in the room was a hulking being that was both a mutant and a cyborg. The creature was called Grappulator was a large brown muscular humanoid being who was covered in large brown tubes that were connected to parts of his body. He had pitch black eyes with white pupils and a vicious grin.

Dr. AGE looked at the assembled group and began speaking.
"As you all know there was a recent escape from our base. Two people escape and those two were a test subject called Lapis and a technician called Peridot. Peridot was the one that engineered the escape and she took Lapis with her. I want both Peridot and Lapis brought back to be punished."
"Ooo Punishment!" Cheered Monokuma as he rubbed his paws together with glee.
"Who you going to send to hunt them?" Asked Father.
"I have chosen Samantha for the job. The rest of you may leave and go about your business." Said Dr. AGE.
The others left leaving Samantha and Dr. AGE alone.
"So do you know where they headed?" Asked Samantha.
"I tracked their hyperdrive warp and pinpointed where they fled to." Said Dr. AGE.
"Alright then I'll head out then." Said Samantha as she prepared to leave.
"Now hold on. I need to give you something first." Said Dr. AGE as he reached into his lab coat and something out.
Samantha look at what Dr. AGE held and saw it was a birthday card.
"Happy birthday! Your now 1,016. It feels like yesterday that I repaired your body after that incident and adopted you." Said Dr. AGE as he handed Samantha the card.
"Thank...you." Said Samantha as she took the card.
The cyborg headed down to the shuttle bay and got into a tiny red ship. The ship took off and left the Zalost as it went into hyperdrive and took the same path as Peridot's escape pod. As the ship flew Samantha began to think back about her old life. Samantha had once been a human living back on Earth in a city in Japan. There had been a couple of booming businesses that created robot companies. One company produced a series of robots called Medabots, while another produced a series of robots called Kilobots. The big difference between the two was that Medabots had personalities and the ability to think, while the Kilobots had no personalities at all. Both series of robots were used for competitive battles and other task. Then one day the Kilobots went rogue and began to violently attack both humans and Medabots. Samantha's memory of the attack was a little foggy, but she did remember that there was a powerful explosion and that she lost consciousness. The next thing Samantha knew was that she woke up in a hospital and that she was greeted by Dr. AGE. The doctor explained that Samantha had been in a terrible explosion that had wrecked her body and that he had turned Samantha into a cyborg to save her life. Samantha was shocked by this news and she was even more shocked to learn that her family and friends had been killed in the Kilobot attack. Dr. AGE explained that the Kilobots had all been destroyed, but the Medabots had been destroyed in the process along with a few million people. Samantha was later taken to her parents grave by Dr. AGE and the girl was utterly devastated. Dr. AGE adopted Samantha and told her everything was going to be alright and that they were going to create a new age.
Years later the countries of the world seemed like they were going to go to war with one another. Dr. AGE told Samantha that the leaders of the world were being manipulated by a ancient shadowy force that simply wanted to eradicate the humans. Samantha asked her stepfather, how he knew this and Dr. AGE said that he was the servant of a godlike being named GOLB, who had given him power, and told him what was going on. Dr. AGE and a few other people who followed GOLB created an advance spaceship to leave the Earth, before the war could begin. They left the Earth and flew into the dark depths of space. The ship went through a wormhole, where it was taken to GOLB. The massive deity used his powers to conjure up a massive amount of metal and machinery, which Dr. AGE and the others constructed it into the Zalost. The Zalost set out to roam the universe and study life and despair. Samantha was one of Dr. AGE's elites that dealt with threats and captured beings to be used as test subjects. The cyborg had undergone several surgeries and upgrades, until she was a forced to be reckoned with. As time went by Samantha began to feel her emotions and humanity slip away. She still had her memories of being happy and sad, but they just felt like shadows.
The ship soon came out of hyperspace and planet Olympia appeared before it. Samantha piloted the ship down to the planet's surface to begin, her search.
On Dominator's ship, Zim was trying to prove how useful he was by volunteering to lead a group of robots down to Olympia to launch an attack. Dominator thought it would be amusing to see Zim fail, so she agreed to let Zim go. Zim got into his ship and headed down to the planet with a dozen robots following him. Dominator sat in her control chair with Gir sitting in her lap wearing a green and black dog costume. A screen floated before Dominator and Gir showing Zim pilot his ship towards the planet surface.
"Good luck on your little outing Zim." Said Dominator into a communicator.
"Ha! Zim does not need luck! I am an Invader and I will demonstrate my skills by taking down several of this planets defenders and establish an outpost on the planet, which will help us conquer the inhabitants of this planet." Said Zim with a confident smirk.
"Well if you succeed then I'll be very impressed. Dominator out." Said Dominator.
Dominator watched Zim on the screen and saw that the green alien hadn't turned off his communicator.
"Just who does that women think she is? I am Zim and though she may think she is in control, I will lure her into a false sense of calm and destroy her!" Declared Zim.
"Um...sir the communicator is still active." Said the computer.
"I'll throw that magma brain fool into deep space or maybe send her to a dimension with a moose in a room. Then after she's out of the way, I'll take her ship as my own." Said Zim.
"You know I can hear every word your saying right now and I can blast your little ship to bits with just a push of a button." Said Dominator.
"Um...what? You heard every word I just said?" Said Zim looking a little nervous.
"I did, but luckily I find you to be both pathetic and amusing. So I'll let you live." Said Dominator.
"Thank you for being merciful Lord Dominator." Said Zim with a nervous smile.
"Just do your thing already." Said Dominator.
Zim quickly saluted and turned the communicator off as he and the robots reached the planet's surface.
On another part of the planet Samantha had gotten out of her ship and was searching for Peridot and Lapis. Peridot's mechanical limbs gave off a unique energy signature and Samantha was using that to track her targets. As Samantha walked, she thought back to her first encounters with Lapis and Peridot. Lapis had been captured and brought aboard the Zalost and Samantha remembered seeing the blue alien being dragged down a hallway by a couple of burly aids towards the lab. Dr. AGE had Lapis tied to a table to scan her and then he brought out a strange electrical device and shocked Lapis with it. Samantha had watched from the shadows as Lapis scream from the shock and then her body just turned into a blue cloud of smoke leaving nothing, but a teardrop shaped blue gem behind. Dr. AGE had the gem scanned and then he placed it on the back of a strange hand mirror.
"Let's see how this being handles witnessing atrocities and isolation." Said Dr. AGE with a smile.
Several hundred years later, Peridot had been brought aboard the ship and she had been assigned to check on Samantha's maintenance from time to time to make sure everything was running smoothly. Peridot had found Samantha to be very fascinating and the two of them had formed a small friendship. They weren't real close friends, but they treated each other with respect and they got along quit well. Then at one point Peridot had freed Lapis from the mirror and Lapis was thrown into a cell. Samantha then recalled that she one time saw Peridot sneaking down a hallway. The cyborg was curious, so she followed Peridot and saw her go into Lapis's cell. Samantha had peeked into the cell and saw Peridot and Lapis just talking and enjoying each other's company. Then Lapis began to suddenly dance and twirl, Samantha watched this and was reminded about a time, when her mother was still alive. Samantha's mother had made her do ballet lessons and despite being a bit of a tomboy, Samantha had enjoyed them. Samantha had even gotten the lead in a recital at one point, which made her mom incredibly proud. The cyborg watched Lapis finish her little dance and then she opened the door and began to clap. Both Peridot and Lapis spun around to face Samantha with looks of surprise on their faces.
"Not bad, your form is really great." Said Samantha with a hint of a smile.
"Um...thank you." Said Lapis.
"Now allow me to demonstrate a little dance of my own." Said Samantha as she took a ballet pose.
Samantha began to dance and twirl gracefully, as she recalled her old ballet lessons. Peridot and Lapis starred at Samantha with awe as she danced and then she finished. The two aliens starred at Samantha and then they began to clap for her. Samantha smiled and did a little bow as a few tears dripped from her eyes.
"Are you ok?" Asked Peridot as she indicated Samantha's eyes.
The cyborg lifted her right arm up and wiped the tears from her eyes to stare at them.
"Yeah...I'm fine, just thinking about something I hadn't thought about in a long time." Said Samantha with a small smile.
"Your...not going to tell anyone about me and Peridot, are you?" Asked Lapis.
"No, my job is to eliminate threats, not spy on people. You two aren't doing anything that threatens the doctor, so there's no need to tell him anything." Said Samantha as she turned to leave.
"Thank you Samantha, your a...good friend." Said Peridot.
"Yes, thank you." Said Lapis.
Samantha just smiled a little as she left the cell.
Back in the present Samantha was following a river, when she passed a cave. Near the mouth of the cave was a girl that looked to be about eleven or twelve and a very large spider. The girl was sitting at the edge of the river splashing her feet in the water. Samantha noticed that the girl had no hands and that Samantha's scanners were picking up a strange energy reading from the child. The spider noticed Samantha and gave a cheerful wave and a smile.
"Hello there! Nice day for a walk." Said the spider.
"I guess so." Said Samantha with a shrug.
"Are you a local?" Asked the spider.
"No, just passing through and looking for a couple of friends." Said Samantha.
"Well I hope you find them." Said the spider.
"Thanks." Said Samantha with a wave as she continued walking.
After a few hours of walking Samantha found Peridot and Lapis further up the river. The two aliens were ridding in a tiny pod like ship that had sprouted four short legs and was following the river. Samantha let out a sigh as she used her super strength to leap into the air and land before the two. Peridot and Lapis yelped in surprise at Samantha sudden appearance, but quickly recovered. Lapis pointed her hand at the river and a bunch of water rose out turning into a enormous arm that was ready to crash into Samantha, while Peridot pointed her arm and her fingers formed a blaster, that she pointed at the cyborg. Samantha raised both her hands in peace.
"Relax you two, I'm not here to fight you or drag you back to the Zalost."
"Your not?" Asked Lapis curiously.
"But didn't the doctor send you here to capture us?" Asked Peridot.
"He did, but he plans to hand you over to Monokuma and let him punish you...and to be honest I don't want to see you be harmed by that psycho. Because I like you...two." Said Samantha.
"So...your just here to tell us your not going to take us back to the Zalost?" Asked Peridot as she and Lapis put away the blaster and water arm away and got out of the pod to stand before Samantha.
"That's right, but I'm also here to make sure that Monokuma and any of the others can't find you." Said Samantha.
"How you going to do that?" Asked Lapis.
"You want to know, how I was able to track you?" Said Samantha.
"How?" Asked Peridot.
"Those mechanical limbs of yours give off a unique energy signature and I was able to follow it. If I can follow it the others could to. They need to be destroyed and I'll go back to the Zalost and tell the doctor you were both destroyed by some locals or something." Said Samantha.
"I...understand. Your plan and logic makes sense." Said Peridot as she walked over to a rock and sat on it.
Peridot reached down to one of her boots and pressed a button on them. There was a hissing sound as the boot popped off. Peridot did the same to her other boot. The boots came off to reveal that Peridot had really shorts legs, with green leggings, with yellow tips on the foot, and yellow diamond shaped knee pads. Peridot removed her mechanicals arms next to reveal she had short green arms. Lapis and Samantha starred at Peridot as she stood up. Peridot had been about a foot or so taller then Lapis, but now she only came to Lapis's waist. The green girl handed Samantha the limbs.
"I feel exposed." Said Peridot as she looked down at her short limbs.
"You look fine to me." Said Lapis with a smile.
This cheered Peridot a little and she smiled.
"Well it was good seeing you two. Good luck with your new life." Said Samantha as she turned to leave.
"Wait...Samantha, why don't you come with us." Said Lapis.
"It's not that simple." Said Samantha.
"Is it maintenance? I can help keep your body in working order, we might not have access to a lab right now, but I'm sure we can find something that has what we need." Said Peridot.
"Join us Samantha, your not like the others on the Zalost. Your a good person." Said Lapis.
"As much as I would like to join you. I can't. The doctor saved my life and I owe him. His the last link I have to my past and I promised him that I'll help him create a new age. Dr. AGE is my stepdad and I can't just leave him." Said Samantha with a sad smile.
"I understand and I wish you the best of luck. You've...been a good friend." Said Peridot.
"You've been a good friend to." Said Samantha as she used her super strength to jump away.
Lapis and Peridot turned back to the pod and got into to continue following the river.
Samantha hopped through the forest looking around as she carried the mechanical limbs of Peridot. The cyborg was looking for a local that she could blame the fake destruction of Peridot and Lapis on, when she heard the sound of fighting in the distance. Samantha decided to go check it out.
Zim and his group of robots had found a group of Spartans to ambush and it appeared that the green alien and his forces were winning. One of the Spartans had fired a distress beacon into the air to call for backup, but the reinforcements might be to late to save the soldiers.
"Ha! You fools stood no match for the mighty Zim! Your filthy world shall fall before me!" Declared Zim as his ship hovered over the battlefield.
It was then that Samantha arrived on the scene and saw the destruction that was happening. The cyborg saw the robots firing their lasers and grinned a little as she threw the mechanical limbs in the path of a laser blast. The blast hit and the limbs were scorched and sparking.
"Who dares interfere with the victory of Zim?!" Yelled Zim.
"That would be me." Said Samantha as she picked up a fallen sword and faced the robots.
"Foolish girl, my robots will reduce you to a pile of disgusting organs!" Declared Zim as he waved his forces forward.
Samantha scanned the sword with a scanner in, her eyes and she was filled with the knowledge to use it. The cyborg took a stance as the robots charged at her and fired their lasers at her. Samantha deflected several of the lasers with her sword and sent them back at the robots destroying a few of them. The Spartans were awed by this and then Samantha charged at the robots and sliced them all to bits. Zim starred down at Samantha with both fear and awe. The alien decided to make a retreat.
"Um...not bad, but this is far from over! Zim shall returned with vengeance and doom!" Shouted Zim as his ship flew away.
The Spartans cheered for Samantha, as Finn and Ling arrived on the scene. Ling saw Samantha and recognized her from his time on the Zalost.
"What's she doing here?" Thought Ling.
"Maybe doc creepy wants us back." Thought Greed.
Ling carefully approached Samantha, who was picking up the burnt remains of Peridot's limbs and one of the destroyed robots. Samantha saw Ling and recognized him.
"Hello project Greed." Said Samantha as she faced Ling.
"Why are you here? Did Dr. AGE send you to capture us?" Asked Greed.
"I was here on other business. I was sent to locate some others people not you. You don't have to worry about Dr. AGE coming after you, because I'm not going to tell him I found you." Said Samantha as she turned and left the scene.
An hour later, Samantha had returned to her ship and flew back to the Zalost. Samantha presented Peridot's limbs and the destroyed robot to Dr. AGE. The cyborg then told her stepfather a lie about how Lapis and Peridot were destroyed by a group of robots. Dr. AGE studied the limbs and the robot for a few minutes before turning, his attention back to Samantha.
"Well this was unexpected, but you did a good job."
"Thank you sir." Said Samantha.
"Now I have a new assignment for you. We have recently joined forces with another organization that has similar ideals like us. This organization needs some assistance dealing with some trouble, so I've decided to send you to them to help them out." Said Dr. AGE.
"So where's this place I'm supposed to go?" Asked Samantha.
"It's your old home planet, Earth." Explained Dr. AGE.
A couple of hours later, Samantha left the Zalost in a ship and headed towards Earth to aid her stepdad's new allies.
